Free Day Friday: Trespasser
(From the poll: "In Which the Demolition Duo made it to the Wastelands without being banished because They Are Trespassing)
Damas was not, by and large, a religious man. He didn't worship Precursors -- there were some who insisted that his ousting from Haven was divine punishment for his arrogance -- nor spirits. If spirits could be killed, so could Precursors. That made them oracles, elders to be respected for unique perspectives on time, but not gods in Damas’s opinion.
Which made it an oddity to find him in the temple.
He sat on the shallow steps, staring up at the six carved heads meant to represent Precursors. More insectoid than Oracles, or perhaps just more elaborate. They seemed to wear headdresses over their bizarre masks.
"If you, by action or inaction, let Mar die, then at least have the decency to tell me," he whispered into the empty air.
"You always foretold a future moment of need that my House would answer. Has that need passed unnoticed that you stay silent while my bloodline ends? Or does my son live?"
The masks were silent, of course. Carved stone could neither hear nor speak.
Ungrateful wretches. Damas had a fleeting thought that perhaps they'd allowed -- or even orchestrated -- the abduction of his little son because he wasn't servile and "pious" enough for their tastes.
Damas wondered if spirits could harm Precursors. If perhaps the "Good Grandmother"*, She-Who-Hears-Them-Cry, might take an interest if something in this temple had been directly involved in bringing Mar to harm.
Má took her payment even from the hides of fellow spirits, after all.
"Even if you were capable of bringing him back unharmed, I very much doubt you would," Damas whispered harshly to the open air. His throat bobbed with a painful, bitter anger.
"But if you took him, you owe blood-debt to my House, old ones. So grant closure or sit in your realm knowing that I will seek answers among others as old as you."
Was it wise to threaten the Precursors? Damas neither knew nor cared anymore. Two years he'd barely survived having his heart metaphorically ripped out of his chest.
What more could they do to him? Really, what could they possibly do that could be worse than not knowing?
No answer arrived, not that it surprised him. Damas sighed and braced his elbows against his knees, head in his hands.
Stone grated against stone and metal to his left, and he turned his head swiftly.
There was a door there, one heavily fortified with traps. A hovering Sentinel eye kept watch for movement, designed to activate a spike trap if anyone tried to enter the lower levels without permission. And if someone managed to somehow get past that, the door would still be sealed. Whether by an enterprising ancestor of his or by meddling Precursors, that door could not be opened without an Heir of Mar. Damas was the only one who had ever been beyond it.
It should not have opened even an inch.
And yet Damas was witnessing the two mighty halves forcing themselves apart with a tortured groan born of idleness.
He was on his feet in an instant, ready for a fight. There was no chance that this heralded anything good.
"Whoa!"
That was a hu'men voice.
Damas’s hand hovered over his sidearm, ready to draw the moment he saw a face.
"And I thought this place was huge before!"
It was a young voice. High and a little squeaky.
"It just keeps going, doesn't it?" laughed a second voice, deeper, but just as young.
And then the doors were open wide enough to see the silhouette in between them.
And more importantly, to see the object glowing faintly in his outstretched fist.
Damas’s mouth was dry as he fumbled for the pouch between belt and leather armor where he kept his own amulet of Mar. He knew the shape by heart: twin comets orbiting each other, over stylized hands.
Thief-!
Pure, outraged, fury burned through his veins for a moment. Who had this scrawny figure stolen that amulet from? Heaven forbid it be Mar's amulet, lest Damas murder this boy before his very next step.
"Identify yourself!" Damas shouted, raising his gun.
The figure stepped into view. He was small, so thin his clothes hung loosely on scrawny limbs, but he held himself like a warrior.
"People!"
The animal curled around his shoulders sat upright and spoke.
"Jak! There's real people in here! We're saved!"
Odd reaction to a man pointing a gun at them.
The boy eased a step forward, hands raised as if soothing a frightened animal. He still held the incriminating amulet in his hand.
"Whoa, okay, put the gun down. I don't want to hurt anybody-"
He took a step too far and the sentinel flashed. The spikes shot up out of the floor with a faint shunk!
With a yelp, the boy leapt back -- he was surprisingly light on his feet for someone wearing boots two sizes too big. Then, as if the nearly fatal encounter was no more than a slight inconvenience, he backed up, got a running start, and launched.
He kicked off the wall, seeming to find handholds in the tiniest of crevices as he bypassed the spikes entirely.
Once on the ground again, the boy dusted himself off.
"You okay, Dax?"
"Just peachy, considering you almost dropped me!"
"Did not!" the hu'men boy protested in annoyance.
He really was small.
The general gangly sprawl of his limbs suggested he would gain an impressive height, but for now he just looked..small.
And entirely too excited.
"Who....do you- Where did you come from?" Damas demanded.
The boy pointed back down at the steps and shrugged before scratching his head.
"Exploring?"
Oh that green hair hurt to look at. It was filthy, and matted, like it hadn't been correctly washed in years. He couldn't even determine the age of the trespasser, what with the layers of grime embedded into every crevice of his face. The clothes were just as stained with sweat, dirt, and what looked to be bloodstains. From traps?
"Exploring."
Damas repeated the stranger's explanation incredulously. "How did you even get in here?"
The boy and the orange animal looked at each other for a curiously long moment. They seemed to be having a conversation merely by narrowing and widening their eyes in turn. Then, seeming to come to an agreement, they shrugged and turned back to face Damas.
The boy pointed down a barely visible flight of rough-hewn stone steps, lit by torches.
"We came up through the catacombs."
There were catacombs? He hadn't seen anything like that down there, and Damas liked to think he'd made it pretty far! He examined the stranger more closely, avoiding his eyes -- they're not familiar, you're just projecting your grief -- and avoiding looking at the talking weasel thing. He saw sunken cheeks drawn tightly against sharp cheekbones. A pale, barely visible scar across the bridge of his nose. Deep, deep shadows beneath his eyes. How large was the temple, altogether? Were there more people living below their feet?
"How...long were you down there?" he asked after a few seconds.
"Trust me pal," the weasel-rabbit said, "he smelled like this before we got in that zoomer."
"Hey!"
"What zoomer?!" Damas asked, feeling more confused than before.
"The one we took through the lava tube to the catacombs."
Damas was beginning to wonder if he'd somehow inhaled the monks' incense by accident.
The trespasser cringed as if only just noticing the bewildered and only barely softened hostility on Damas’s face. He shoved his amulet -- not his, it can't be his, there aren't any more of us left!*-- into his pocket and waved his hands placatingly.
Was there another Heir all this time? Is that why I was given no chance to protect Mar? Were my child and I expendable?
"Didn't mean to bother you," the kid apologized, "We'll just uh- huh. Actually, where are we?"
And then he looked to the door rather than Damas.
"Hey Oracle!" he shouted, and Damas was glad no monks were present to hear this and faint at the impertinance.
"Where the rot are we?"
Alright. This was now officially more of a problem than he'd first thought. Not even the monks were supposed to have found that Oracle down there.
One of the past Heirs who never inherited the throne had sealed it up the moment he discovered it long ago. After all, the discovery of light and dark eco being opposite poles of one energy might have thrown society into chaos and they didn't want to deal with the fallout. Even Damas was leery of reintroducing that knowledge outside of the Arena yet. Apparently this trespasser had no such thoughts.
He spoke to Oracles -- or pretended he did.
He held and used an amulet.
The boy was a mystery. And Damas hated not having the answers.
"You," Damas decided, wearing anger like a shield, "are coming with me. You have questions to answer."
The boy balked.
"No!"
He dodged before Damas could seize his arm, stumbling back amidst the columns.
"Uh-uh, I'm not falling for that."
"Falling for what?"
Damas was genuinely confused, and more than a little irritated.
The boy continued to back away.
"No, no I know how this goes. You're gonna take me back to the Haven Council, aren't you!"
*
"Haven?!" Damas sputtered, "Why the bleeding rot would I want to go there?! I'm taking you to my city!"
That didn't reassure the kid, who apparently was not fond of the leaders of Haven City.
Well, that was at least a bare minimum of common ground.
"You ain't takin us to no secondary location!" the orange one declared, pointing a skinny digit at Damas.
"The last time I got transported to a new place, I got kidnapped and experimented on for two years," his friend agreed.
Embleer Frith.
Damas stared at the boy. He squinted, as if that would give him insight into the unsettling response, then shook his head.
"You what?!"
What was he talking about? Experimented on?! That would explain the sudden shift from curiosity to distrust. But why-?
Damas knew. Deep down, he thought he knew.
If the boy was an Heir -- and he didn't even want to entertain the thought, but it had to be acknowledged as a possibility -- then that alone would be motive for someone like Praxis to torture even a young man -- or young boy?
If he was still obsessed with creating the ultimate war-sage, then an unclaimed and unattended Heir of Mar would be invaluable.
But if Praxis had been so focused on an older Heir, then perhaps it at least meant that he'd never gotten his hands on Mar.
That there was a stab of shame to follow that whisper of relief was an unsettling proof that he had not successfully hardened his heart as much as he'd thought.
"You came here from Haven?" he asked.
"Yeah?"
Thoughts of a breach in their defenses sickened him.
"And others will follow in pursuit of you?"
This time both trespassers scoffed.
"Only if they feel like sharpening their reaction time enough for a volcanic subrail," the hu'men said. He almost smiled.
The orange one nodded. "Jak here's the best driver there is! Also the most demolition-happy, but nobody's perfect."
Jak?
Now that was a name his spies had been mentioning a lot in their reports. An alleged juggernaut who had turned the Baron's own secret project against him and -- rumor had it -- even destroyed the metalhead nest.
Damas had been expecting someone a little...older.
* the "Good Grandmother" Damas is referencing is a spirit I made up for the Wasteland called Má Crocadeer. Fairly grisly figure with a crocadeer skull wreathed in flowers for a head, and a crocadeer's legs and tail. Her purpose is to punish those who deliberately cause or inflict harm on children. There's a lot of people in Haven who should avoid the desert for this reason.

Sweet idea: Because of her closer connection with animals, Sofia stopped eating meat. She'd push it to the other side of her plate, only eating the veggies and non-meat parts of her meal. Some people thought she was just being fussy. But Baileywick made sure her needs were met. He had her meat be replaced with another form of protein, like different beans and vegetables, he also told her it was no issue. He just wanted her to be taken care of, not leaving half of her meal uneaten and staying half full.

MBJ : well he's actually quite nice. When I'm upset, he gets quiet, when I'm happy, he seems happy too. It's like he feels my mood. It's like he can understand me. He understands commands. Sometimes he brings me little things he found, which are pretty useless...but I still accept it, because he's so excited. Sometimes he looks at me with his eyes...it almost feels like there's intelligence in them.
LBH : did you get a dog? Yea they're pretty smart-
MBJ : ...I'm talking about my human

Inspired by the Disney Princess villain song series by Lydia the Bard, here’s my idea for Princess Sofia’s own dark version of a Sofia the First song and the backstory and animatic script accompanying it. There are mentioned dead bodies and a little blood. I’ve really tried to keep her in-character, despite the very different circumstances and tone. She’s more of an anti-villain here.
I’d love to hear feedback on this and talk to other fans, of Sofia or Lydia.
I’ve written one for Princess Elena too!

I was reading the Orphic Argonautica last night and the author has mentioned the various methods of divination Apollo knows and guess what? One of them is prophesying by studying the entrails of organisms. As soon as I read that I was reminded of your headcanon of Apollo being into hepatoscopy for divination and I giggled.
Awww 😳😳It's so nice of you to think of me!
Hehe, so fun fact, the overall practice of divination by studying the entrails of animals (including blood, lungs, intestines and so forth) is extispicy while hepatoscopy is specifically using the liver in prophecy and divination readings.
If, like magic in old text exactly like the sort Medea is described as using, the types of divination spoken about in the texts are reflections of the popular divination cultures of the time, I much rather prefer ascribing those to Apollo than I do some vague, somewhat mysterious power which he uses to see the will of the fates, especially since it's mentioned a few times that he'll teach his sons the language of the birds and how to read their signs and so on and so forth.
In short: HEPATOSCOPY APOLLO IS COOL!! HE'S SO NEAT!! Apollo at the altar who predicts the coming droughts and famines from the entrails of his flock!! It's just such a neat little image (to me)!
Also the Orphic Argonautica bangs, genuinely I hope you enjoy it! Orpheus is an insane man and I do not think him along with the collective subspecies of mythical man known as 'sons of Apollo' get enough credit for how truly unhinged they are at any given point in time.
#ginger answers asks#It's so sweet of you to think of me uuuu#If we treat Apollo's prophecy the same we treat say Aphrodite's rituals in the Iliad#Where in Book 14 I think? Hera asks for her help in creating something that will ultimately help her seduce Zeus#And how that reflects on the very big enchantment and amuletting culture where people would use#cosmetics necklaces belts even knots that they hid in their pockets#together with words of affirmation and some ritualistic method like saying a spell three/seven times#in order to inflict some kind of effect on themselves or their betters#then I think it's entirely fair to ascribe the divination rituals of the day to Apollo in place of mystical visions that don't usually#follow any kind of process to induce despite the process of the Oracle itself being highly regimented#Or course the natural rebuttal is 'well Apollo is the god of prophecy why would he have to do any rituals to use his power'#and my answer to that is Apollo is the god of orating fate but he doesn't create Fate itself that's the work of his father and the Fates#So long as Apollo is appealling to powers older than himself the natural course of action is to pray and be supplicant imo#And well Apollo is nothing if not a filial son#Anyway it's still just a personal headcanon of mine I'm really glad <33#I would gladly be known as That one guy on tumblr that really likes making Apollo hold sheep livers#Everyone should have their Apollo hold a sheep liver at least once. For enrichment#greek mythology#apollo

I wish you would write a fic where the ultimate portal caused Claire to become a half-ghost like in Danny Phantom
Claire focused, past the pain in her hands, on the staff in her hands. She could feel her body splintering and breaking, cracks spreading up her hands and arms and out from her eyes. This was going to kill her, but as long as she could get the remainder of Trollmarket out, as long as she could save her friends, save Jim, she would be ok with her fate.
She felt Jim join her with a hand on the staff, she heard him shout as he did so. The unbearable, excruciating pain of the portal ripping through her reduced a little as first Jim, then Toby, then Aaarrrgghh and Blinky and finally her little brother. It wasn’t enough, she knew even with them trying to take on some of the load, that this would still be her death.
The swirling purple cloud swept out from the staff, encircling all of the trolls in the Gyre Station and for just a moment the dark purple was replaced with glowing green. Then they vanished from the station to reappear hours later.
“What’s this?” An older, wise sounding male voice said.
“Another? Just like me?” Said a younger male voice.
“You are mine, body and soul.” Hissed a woman’s voice that would come to haunt her nightmares in the weeks to come.
Claire put her hand to her head. Ever since the portal she had been feeling off. She wasn’t sleeping, could barely keep food down, and she was constantly shivering. Her dreams had been strange and terrifying but she never remembered them other than a sense of horror when she awoke.
She shook her head and reached for one of her textbooks in an attempt to distract herself. She watched in annoyance as the book fell and slammed into her bedroom floor, driving a spike of pain between her eyes. She huffed in annoyance and crouched down to pick it up… and her hand went right through the book like it wasn’t there.
Claire could feel her hand tingling even as she was able to it through the book and through the floor beneath it. She was panicking, but rather than feeling her breathing pick up and her heart race, she couldn’t feel either. Her feet slipped through the floor and she started sinking as her panic grew even worse.
“Hey, Big-Eyes! I- whoa!” NotEnrique galloped into the room to grab her shoulders and tried to pull her back into her bedroom. “Come on, Sis! The ‘rents are home! Can’t have you falling into the living room!”
She took a deep breath, her first in who even knew how long and she pulled herself the rest of the way out of the floor. There was something glowing on her chest, but she ignored it as she forced herself to be solid, and breathe and for her heart to beat like it was supposed to.
“Don’t tell anyone about this ok?” Claire asked her brother, even as she tried to still her shaking hands.
There was a new guy in Arcadia Oaks. He didn’t stand out that much from any of the other high school students she had seen, but something about him seemed to pull her focus. She could feel the shadows around her swirling around her ankles as she narrowed her eyes at him. She watched him breathe out a small cloud of fog, look around in confusion, then zero in on her.
She glared at him and gripped her collapsed staff tightly in one hand and a gaggletack in the other. He hurried over to her, a friendly smile on his face, but she didn’t trust that any more than she trusted his human appearance.
“Hi! My name’s Danny!” The stranger said. He held out a hand for her to shake.
“I’m Claire, I’m sure you wouldn’t mind holding this for me would you?” She thrust the gaggletack toward him.
Danny looked at her in confusion before he took the horseshoe out of her hand. He twirled it on his finger for a moment before it slipped off and hit him in the head. As he scrambled to pick up the fallen horseshoe Claire could see strange, green glowing marks on one of his hands. They didn’t look too different from the black marks she could feel on her own hands.
“Do you want your horseshoe back?” Danny asked as he rubbed the side of his head and offered her back the gaggletack. Claire took it, but kept her eyes narrowed at him.
“Claire!” She startled as Jim called out to her. Only a moment later her boyfriend had his arm around her shoulders as he glared at Danny.
“Well, I’m going to head out, Claire, you and I should talk soon. I might be able to help you out a little. I know what it’s like to go through all this by yourself.” Danny handed over his phone number and waved goodbye, giving Jim a wary look as he left.
Jim had been suspicious and paranoid about Danny, but Claire finally convinced him to keep his distance while she met with the strange guy. There was just something about him that sang to her, <Same, Same, Same> his presence seemed to say. Whatever was happening to her since the Ultimate Portal, he seemed to know and maybe could help her.
She had all but ordered him to wait for her signal rather than escort her to the meeting. He and Toby were around the block, if she texted or if they heard anything disturbing they would intervene immediately. She rolled her eyes, as long as she had the shadow staff she would be fine, and for some reason she didn’t think Danny would threaten her.
Danny had shown her the Litchenberg figures that crawled up his arm and told a very brief version of his accident with a portal to another world. Claire just as hesitantly showed him the black cracks that now marred her arms, she could hide them when she wanted to, but anytime she didn't focus on them they reappeared.
Apparently they were the same. Halfas. Half alive, half dead. An exclusive club of five now. The information just about knocked the breath out of her chest and she almost fell through the floor, except Danny was able to grab her and turn her solid again.
“By the way would you like me to get rid of your passenger?” Danny asked, glancing at her eyes, seemingly to look into her soul. Was that something Halfas could do? Claire looked at him in confusion and he explained. “Looks like you might be partially overshadowed. Er, I suppose humans call it possessed.”
“I’m possessed? Yes! If you can get rid of it, do it!”  Claire hissed, terrified of what she might have brought back with her from the portal.
Danny reached into her chest and pulled out a glowing golden orb before tossing it aside. Claire could feel more than hear the being scream as it left and she felt like a great weight she had been carrying since the portal was suddenly gone.
“What was that?” Claire all but shrieked, desperately keeping her voice down so Jim and Toby didn’t storm the area.
“I don’t know, but she was powerful. I don’t think you’ve seen the last of her.” Danny looked wary, his eyes tracking something Claire couldn’t see or sense before his face brightened. “But maybe you got to keep some of her powers, my girlfriend back home was possessed by an angry plant ghost and sense then has been able to influence plants around her. We think with enough practice she might be able to fully control them too.”
Danny didn’t stay in Arcadia for long. After he showed her how to transform into her half ghost form, and wasn’t that a trip and a half, he left. He had his own responsibilities in a city called Amity Park in Illinois. However he promised to come if she called.
She added him, Toby and Jim to a group chat where they could all vent and share memes about the supernatural problems they dealt with. Danny added his two best friends and apparent partners, Tucker and Sam. Claire was absolutely not taking notes on what it was like to have a polyamorous triad, even if she did send lots of questions about it to Sam.
Her and Danny talked a lot about ghostly powers and the other halfas. She knew to be wary of Vlad Masters and that Ellie Phantom was Danny’s clone/daughter and was traveling the world. Apparently Dan Phantom was Danny’s alternate time-line future self who was on parole to see if he could be trusted in this timeline. She decided she didn’t need more information and vowed not to mess with time travel.
Danny guessed she had a “shadow-core” and that was why shadows seemed to jump to her command when she was upset. They both went back and forth before they decided she was probably a protector spirit like Danny was. Her final thoughts before the portal had taken her life were about protecting her friends and the trolls. She was a little worried about how unhealthily codependent she was with Jim and Toby, but according to Sam that was par for the course, and that Danny would freak out if any of them were hurt while out of his sight.
Life in Arcadia continued on in a terrifying way. Gruesomes swarmed to the city in anticipation of the battle to come. Claire was able to free Draal from Gunmar’s control with her ghost form. The Defenders of Arcadia raced to Merlin’s tomb, only to find the ancient wizard wasn’t dead. And now Jim was… Jim was… in a way him slipping out of her sight in the black potion Merlin had created felt just like her opening the portal. She didn’t think he was a halfa like she was, but in the same way, Jim’s life ended and would never be the same.
Now Morgana was free and the Eternal Night was upon them. Morgana, who had possessed her, used her to revive Angor Rot. Morgana who was one of the most powerful sorceresses in history. She desperately hoped that Team Trollhunters would be able to defend the city and the world, but she also knew that sometimes you have to call for help.
Danny and Team Phantom answered in a big way. Danny flew his team to California and worked to defend the citizens alongside the Trollhunters. Sam worked with the local plant life to restrain and trip the Gumm-Gumm hoard while Tucker focused on coordinating emergency services and the defense.
Claire and Danny fought side by side while Jim fought Gunmar. The two of them were barely able to defeat Morgana, with Claire wresting full control of her shadow staff from Morgana before the two of them banished her to the Shadow Realm.
Danny apologized profusely, he had wanted to get some help from the other ghosts but something was making them nervous and behave strangely. She wasn’t sure what that was about, but she told him he could call on her and the Trollhunters would answer. Blinky mentioned possibly creating a Gyre tunnel to Amity so they could travel back and forth easier. Toby and Tucker weren’t thrilled by that announcement.
Love this prompt. I think team Trollhunters and team Phantom would work together really well. They 've both got a self-sacrificial hero, a goth who gets possessed by a powerful enemy, and a best friend who the writers are desperate to pretend is straight. oh also an enemy who literally has two faces and unhealthy obsession with the hero's mom.
Also did you think about the fact that the by becoming a halfa, The Ultimate Portal has to kill Claire at least half way? Devastating. The parents will never forgive themselves.
I forsee team Phantom eventually retreating to Arcadia if the GIW /the Elder Fentons ever go too far. Leave the ghost hunters behind and retreat to magic and fucked up city. Also the number of people in this city who have two halves is extradinarily high. Jim, Claire, Danny, Aja, Krel, Varvatos, and all the remaining changelings.
Power levels: Baseline Danny is stronger than Morgana's possession. Danny and Claire are about even with full power Morgana, making it a tense but winnable fight. Ghost King Danny is about as strong as Merlin and Morgana working together, and about as strong as any of the Arcane Order individually, though I think the full order actually working together would be able to destroy even the Ghost King, just like the Ancients against Pariah Dark.
The events of 3:Below and Wizards would play out very differently with the help of Team Phantom and I doubt that Rise of the Titans would happen at all.
Thanks for the prompt! Feel free to send me more prompts!

It’s not a dpxth exclusive scenario but maybe the fact that they were both made to witness a Bad End accidentally caused by a selfish choice they made. Jim w/ the wish he didn’t pick up the amulet (I might be wrong about how exactly this went, I haven’t rewatched the shoe in a while) and danny w/ cheating on his exam.
Anon, you have no idea how much this is exactly the kind of idea I want to draw!! Comparisons of parallels between the shows even if they're not identical is one of my favorite kinds of posts to make here. It actually inspired me to sketch out an 8 page idea, which is gonna take me FOREVER to turn into final drawings- so for now, I would like to share with you my sketches. They're partially inked for clarity - inked stuff is just the concepts I thought were really solid (mostly), and the pencil bits I feel I need to rework (like composition wise). I also did not use references for anything here. In any case! Here is my idea!

Boss, I need to you stay very calm about this, but I broke the thing.
I was wondering why all those alarm bells were going off! And why the prowling beasts were out and about. And why the Dark Amulet seems to be glowing purple. And the... fourth thing.
Gonna have to send you to the dark maze for this one henchman. And no bringing a flashlight/lantern on your trip to the maze, that really took the fun out of it for me last time. 'Cause you could like... see all the puzzles in there. No fun if you can see the maze puzzles in the dark maze.
So just... whenever you're ready. Head on over to the chute. The maze chute.

God the first two Trixie focused episodes are sad
You ever think about how the Trixie & Twilight rivalry, as brief as it was, started because Twilight and friends fundamentally misunderstood what a stage magician was?
Like if we look at unicorns that Twilight has had as her villainous opponents the line up is;
King Sombra, the dictator keeping himself alive with dark magic, who wants to conquer and enslave the Crystal Empire,
Starlight Glimmer the cult leader, stealer of cutie marks, and ruiner of multiple timelines,
Sunset Shimmer attemptive dictator and stealer of an element of harmony,
And Trixie, who's big original crime is that she's a stage magician and Twilight (and her friends) doesn't understand what that is, and that the stuff that Trixie does during her debut episode are in large part, just part of the job of being a magician.
Being a boastful liar is part of stage magic, the whole point is that you fool the audience into thinking one thing is happening, when really another thing is happening. They're entertainers, their job is to shock and awe the audience with feats of, what seems like, magic and impossibility.
Also, people seem to blame her for the Ursa Minor being brought into town, but Snips & Snails did that. Sure they did that because they took Trixie boasting about defeating an Ursa Major at face value, but also they're elementary age children.
Where are there parents, and why can they get out of their houses and into the wilderness to approach dangerous, magic, wild animals in the middle of the night?
Just because Ponyville is such a small town that no one understands what a stage magician is, and what that job entails, doesn't mean Trixie was a villain in her introductory episode.
Trixie is an entertainer, if you don't like the entertainment she's giving, you guys can just leave and ignore the show she's putting on?
But during her original show it seems like most of the mane six ponies are just complaining that Trixie is bragging a lot, and it starts being said right after her opening line of being "the great and powerful Trixie", and then Rainbow Dash just literally starts heckling her.
Then when Rainbow Dash ends up humiliated, Applejack tries her hand at literally trying to out perform the professional entertainer, and it's the same for her. And then it's the same with Rarity.
They're all concerned with trying to put this literal stage magician "in her place" more or less, but if this was real life and someone tried to do this at a magic show, they'd 100% be escorted off the premises.
Our heroes spend like the first half of this epsidoe harassing a stage magician who's just trying to do her job.
It's shown that in the aftermath, Trixie was turned into the town laughing stock, her wagon, her home, was getting vandalized, and it got to the point she had to leave town.
They ruined her reputation, so she had to take up working on a rock farm instead of getting to work in stage magic, her passion and special talent. Something we hardly, if ever, see ponies do in Equestria.
Then they wanna be all shocked when she comes back for revenge with the Alicorn amulet.
No shit she came back for vengeance using a corrupting magic amplifying artifact.
They turned her job and reputation as an entertainer into some kind of magic power dick measuring contest, and then ruined her life as a result, because Twilight (and her friends) didn't like her attitude.
Also, Twilight forgives Trixie the most reluctantly out of any other redeemed evil unicorn, and all the others did much worse than Trixie, when she was in her right mind and not influenced by the Alicorn Amulet, ever did.
Both Sunset and Starlight do much, much worse things than Trixie did, without any kind of magical corrupting influence like the Alicorn Amulet even being involved, and they're forgiven instantly by Twilight. While with Trixie she has to stop and think about it before forgiving her.
Trixie's biggest and least forgivable sin in Twilight's eyes is that she's annoying and Twilight doesn't like her personally.
The whole plot line is even more irritating, because Twilight uses what is essentially stage magic to beat Trixie during the Alicorn Amulet episode.
Because then it's not even that the mane 6 doesn't understand stage magic, and the idea that stage magicians ham things up and lie to sell a performance.
They just decided they hated Trixie after hearing the opening line of her stage show, and then they ruined her career because they didn't like her.

My momma got me some pasalubong gifts from P.I. She knows I like these stuff. This is called “Anting, Anting” which are magical amulets. The ones in the middle are hands with a low relief sculpture of Jesus face and the bottom is a hand holding a little statue of Santo Niño. The amulet on the left is a saint and on the right is an all seeing eye.
