♡ when you guys found out you were having twins… oh boy… that day was a day to be remembered

୨୧ the second the nurse performing the scan said “ oh… hold on a second, looks like you’ll be needing two cribs ” with a soft chuckle, the room went so quiet you could hear a pin drop

♡ but then sebastian spoke…

“ yep… yeah, i guess we will, huh? jesus christ! two babies… that’s… oh, that’s so exciting ” ( it took a couple seconds for it to really click in his head before a huge, goofy smile spread across his face and he started laughing )

୨୧ when you guys get home, he’s straight to his computer, looking up online stores to buy things for twin babies

“ oh! look here liebling, a twin pram! we’ll probably need that, hm? ” ( okay, now it’s really really beginning to click in his head that he’s getting not one but two babies and he couldn’t be more excited )

♡ the birth went fine! except for the fact you had to push out TWO babies…

୨୧ you had a moment filled with nothing but hatred for sebastian for putting two babies inside of you, cussing him out all while he holds your hand

♡ he gave a slightly freaked out look towards one of the nurses who simply told him it was “ totally normal ” and you didn’t mean what you were saying

୨୧ so he doesn’t say anything, just keeps brushing your hair back from your face, cheering you on and praising you for how much progress your making <3

♡ it just felt right to name one of your babies valentine… your greatest gifts made from love arriving on the day of love and the second would be called valerie

୨୧ sebastian is a natural at cradling both of them at the same time almost immediately, you swear just about everything comes naturally to him!

♡ he nicknames them his little snowflakes because whilst from afar snowflakes may look identical, when you really look at them, they’re actually always unique and it’s the same for his babies! his girls may look the same but they’re their own person, they’re both so unique and special in their own different ways <3

୨୧ since they sleep in the same room, when one of them wakes up crying, so does the other…

♡ sebastian is always the first to jump out of bed, telling you to go back to sleep, claiming you need it more than him since you just went through the birth and hey, you’re not going to fight him on that

୨୧ but often times, you do stay awake, waiting for him to come back to bed, more often that not with both of his little snowflakes cuddled in his arms

♡ he slips back into bed next to you, being extra careful with the twins before gesturing for you to cuddle up into his side

“ they’re so perfect, liebling… thank you, thank you for giving me such perfect girls ” ( his voice sounds slightly choked up and before long, you see small tears dripping down his cheeks, you spend the rest of the night cuddled up together, whispering words of love towards your husband and your babies as he falls into a deep sleep )

୨୧ sebastian LOVES teaching his little snowflakes all about animals and bugs, making sure they know how important it is to take care of their planet

♡ because of this, valerie and valentine don’t really want a lot of toys and similar things when they’re children! they’re incredibly aware and smart for their age which is something you both take a huge amount of pride in

୨୧ the only thing his snowflakes really want is those monthly subscription wildlife magazines! y’know the ones that come with a plushie and other little knick knacks like plastic bug containers?

♡ sebastian had already signed them up for it when they were old enough to read a lot and showed an interest in wildlife like he did and they’ve become OBSESSED with receiving them every month <3

୨୧ he has to hold back a huge smile everytime one of the twins asks him when the end of the month is, so happy that his little snowflakes care about the planet as much as he does

♡ the twins LOVE bugs and always try to bring them into the house, yelling for their papa to come and see what they’ve caught this time

୨୧ it can be slightly daunting for you to see them walk through the back door, one of them holding a bug in hand, knowing they’ll probably drop it in the house and it’ll be weeks before you find it…

♡ which is why when sebastian hears them yelling, he’s speed walking towards them and gently steering them right back outside with a hand on each of their backs, throwing a wink your way as he walks out the door

“ what’ve you got there my little snowflakes? come, outside, show me outside on the grass ” ( you let out the most relieved sigh, thankful you won’t be moving your couch to try and find some bug )

୨୧ the twins absolutely love going on bike rides with sebastian too, it’s one of their daddy daughter activities, leaving you once a week for around an hour or two to have some me time

♡ when they get home, they’re talking your ear off about EVERYTHING they saw, no matter how mundane it may seem, sebastian’s little snowflakes find beauty in everything around them

୨୧ sebastian built a tree house for the twins in your backyard!

♡ not only did he build a treehouse, he decked it out inside with SO many books about bugs and wildlife and shelves for them to put their little bug containers on…

୨୧ safe to say they spend more time in the treehouse than they do your actual house! it’s hard for you guys to get them out of there, even just for lunch and dinner

“ will you come down from there, my little snowflakes? please? your lunch is ready… okay, well you know, i just found this really cool spider and i wanted to show you guys before lunch but i guess you’re not interested- ” ( they come barrelling out so fast sebastian yells at them to “ please be careful ” and extends his arms, fully prepared to catch them if they fall )

♡ you guys take the twins out for ice cream a lot! it’s one of their favourite sweet treats

୨୧ which is probably because you ate it a LOT whilst pregnant with them…

♡ sebastian goes in to order with the girls whilst you sit at one of the tables outside, watching them through the glass windows of the store with a soft smile on your face

୨୧ you chuckle as you see sebastian have to hold valerie up on his feet so that she can see the flavours, she’s always been the smallest of the twins which makes him especially soft with her

♡ when he comes out, he gives you a cone of your favourite ice cream with two chocolate flakes stuck in it, you didn’t think he forgot your favourite did you?

୨୧ sebastian makes them tuck a napkin in their shirt, no matter how embarrassing they think it is, he doesn’t want you having extra laundry that could’ve been prevented

♡ they already get so many clothes dirty from sitting on mud in the garden, you should really get around to buying them more overalls!

୨୧ as you all sit in the sun, eating your ice creams ( some faster than others ) sebastian can’t help but admire his little family! his gorgeous wife and his perfect little snowflakes

omg all these ppl sharing tehir friends being tkkr/ynmnr remind me this bitch from my university dorm! you know we were dorm mates w this one girl. starting from fist day of semester I had this weird feeling about her (not related to her being a tkkr but her whole vibe was off) while talking about interests and hobbies we kinda realized we have similar tastes in certain things.

she told me that she’s into bts and we started talking about them. everything was fine until out of nowhere she told me that she believes that tkkr are a couple and I feel like she was trying to fish an answer out of me ykno about tkk dating. she was kinda trying to test me if that makes sense. after that I told her that I’m a hard core jm stan and that why I’m leaning more towards duos that include jm and I’m not kidding you shaz her whole demeanor changed and the look she gave me was just horrendous. and I didn’t even told her tkk couldn’t be real because jk and jm are literally dating but change was drastic!

after that she keep giving me cold feet and randomly showing “cute tkk art” which was humanloure or whatever that btchs name and when I told her to stop showing me weird things she became super defensive (I wasn’t try to be an asshole it was just getting weird the way she was trying to prove me tkkr is real by showing ugly ass fanarts ) when I told her about my discomfort she would say things like “but they are cute” “they look so good together” “anyways they are dating”

when she kept doing this I totally stopped talking to her and just ignored her ass that whole semester. we weren’t best friends or anything just dorm mates. i just wanted to share this because before all of this happened to me I just thought that there’s no way a irl tkkr would act the way they are acting in online spaces but those weirdos we saw on report pages are literally exist irl

A friend of mine from the Gallavich (shameless) fandom saw this and she was so excited! But at the time of seeing my cover photo she also noticed I kept sharing JK in my stories (dreamers had just dropped) and so she didn't know if I was gonna turn out to be vermin. So it took her months... months! To even DM me. She didn't do it until she saw me in the comment section of Jikook public group.

I asked her why she never told me sooner that she was Army and she told me that she didn't want to ruin our friendship. So it was better for her not to know. And you know what? That made sense to me. I was like, fair enough.

I mentioned before that my baby got attached to shot glass of tears, right? It was the only song that could get her to sleep. So one time I'm just pushing the pram around a shop and the cashier comes up to me like "is that JK?" And of course we started to gush. She told me that she was Taegi biased and immediately I went "are you a Taekooker?" You know, I didn't want to waste time. I needed to know quite early on. She told me she almost became one due to the edits on YouTube and that it was the reason she stepped away from the fandom. That's why she didn't even know about SGOT or GOLDEN. Coz she left when she saw she was starting to become one of them 😂

I commended her for it and currently we are friends. Her self awareness saved her basically 😂 So yes, anon. The way they are online is the way they are in person. That's why I always say a Vminkook concert wouldn't be the best idea 🤭🤭🤭

Anticipation

It’s hard to get Yuzuko to take things easy: she is pregnant and she is bored.

More than once, Kazuki has woken up in the middle of the night to discover his wife fussing over yarn or rearranging jars in the cupboard. “Don’t they look nicer this way?” she’d asked innocently, as though it were perfectly acceptable to be awake at 4 am lining up sauces, pickles and jams from lightest-to-darkest.  “It’s like a little rainbow.” 

Ignoring her protests, he’d taken Yuzuko’s shoulders and steered her away. 

She takes little trips to the park.  Ambles along to the convenience store.  She almost always returns with plants – another tiddly succulent to stash beside the TV, or a solitary stem to plop in the vase that sits on their dining table.  Kazuki doesn’t mind.  The yellows and purples and blues that Yuzuko fills their home with contrast sharply against the blood on his hands.  He likes the distinction. 

He’ll have to stop, when the baby gets here.  Lying to Yuzuko is getting harder.  Every morning, he leaves the house wearing a suit.  He returns at an appropriate time.  Over dinner, he makes excuses about how he’s spent so long wilting in the office that he can’t possibly bear to recount his day.  However, Yuzuko’s desperate for entertainment and wheedles the occasional story out of him.  Kazuki goes into overdrive, inventing colleagues – there’s Kyuusuke, his desk-mate who wears glasses and Yatarou, a guy who used to run a café before he moved into corporate management.  Every so often, Kazuki loses track of which of the pair said what.  Yuzuko scratches her ear and says that Kazuki’s clearly overworked. Why else wouldn’t he be able to keep his stories straight? 

He’ll have to stop. 

For sure.

Yuzuko’s changing.  She hates the taste and texture of her own cooking; she sighs dreamily when they pass fancy restaurants and then catches herself with a jolt.  Patting Kazuki’s arm, she murmurs that she wasn’t trying to drop hints: she knows that they couldn’t afford to eat in establishments like that. 

Dutifully, Kazuki pats his wife in return, thinking about the envelope of money stashed in a secret drawer.  He has no choice but to ration out his earnings.  Yuzuko would have too many questions if they could suddenly afford everything they need, like a cot and a pram and a steriliser. Better for Yuzuko to think that they’re getting by with a little left over.  Safer for her to believe that he needs a promotion to make a real difference. 

There are… things that he can do. 

He watches online tutorials, between jobs.  Spends a week practising in the kitchen when Karin whisks her sister away for a much-needed trip to their parents’ house. There are all sorts of tips.  Crack eggs on a flat surface.   Crush garlic cloves instead of chopping them.  Turn bell peppers upside-down to slice them with ease.  Press tofu for at least thirty minutes so that the marinade can soak in. 

When Yuzuko returns, she swears that she’ll never cook again. 

So Kazuki devotes himself to perfection.  He prompts Yuzuko to stretch out on the sofa while he wipes, scrubs, dusts, vacuums.  Yuzuko has the temerity to point to a fleck of dirt and sing, “You missed a spot!” Kazuki flings a damp sponge at her and they both laugh. 

He’ll have to stop.  He already had hundreds of skills and he’s constantly learning more and more.  He can work as a cleaner (as a chef, at this rate).  Become a chauffeur.  Live life as an ethical hacker.  He and Yuzuko will be there for their baby forever and the only blood in the little one’s future will be the odd papercut or scraped knee. 

It’s June.  Rainy season.  Hydrangea season.  Kazuki’s favourite time of year.  He places his ear against Yuzuko body and listens closely, swearing that he can hear a heartbeat – hear it knocking against his own.  Yuzuko says softly that the baby can’t wait to meet him. 

Kazuki doesn’t tell her that Yuzuko’s words make him want to cry.  Imagine someone… imagine someone wanting to meet him. 

He’ll stop by Yadorigi later and let Kyuu-chan know that it’s time to get out.

Hi, sorry this is so late, being in the UK you may have posted whilst I was asleep 😊

My experience in the fandom has ebbed and flowed since 2015, I was really taken aback by Zayn leaving/BG/the hiatus being announced but thought I could stick it out because seriously they weren't going to make BG an actual physical thing but alas I was wrong. I dipped in and out in January '16 but, even though I didn't believe in the pregnancy, as a midwife, so much disinformation was being flooded through the fandom about pregnancy and post natel women I couldn't recognise the fandom any more. Added in with the "pram pap pics" seemingly popping up on the regular I stepped right out because it was no longer about the music or the fun nature of 1D, it was more about these daft narratives of their "private" lives which seemed to be anything but.

I float around Tumblr , regularly seeing things like Jay's passing, tour things and films but I really don't feel any emotional connection to anyone other than Niall, who's Teflon image hasn't ever been shattered.

I struggle to enjoy the "persona" of both Harry and Louis, neither feel realistic to me and whilst I know they aren't teenage boys like at the start of 1D, both of their images seem to have swung completely away from what I loved about them.

On the subject of H/L being together, like you, I've seen too much to make me not believe but it's been clouded over the hiatus by a lot of rubbish, mostly pushed by the fandom/new fans/unnecessary stunts. In my heart I think they are together and I shall celebrate if it's ever revealed to be the case but I just don't have the energy to be there and do that in this season of my life.

And as an end note, like you, it felt like a huge chunk of my life had ended when I stepped back but the memories still pop up on my phone and I can still blast Kiss You through the streets of the UK, so time does heal. Will I step back in if 1D reform, who knows? Whatever you choose to do re:1d I wish you the best and most fab '24 and I'll be sticking around to see what you bring to Tumblr when you feel the need 🩷

you are sooo lucky you didn’t experience the full extent of 2016, that year changed something in me for sure. i don’t have the ability to casually check in on things when i’m a fan, i have to know everything that’s happening at all times and it’s kind of a problem lol so it says a lot to me that i’ve been fine just not coming online at all lately.

I'm just tired. I can see opinions on both sides, but realistically the government was always planning on doing something to prevent international acts for a while now and yes while this was an excuse in some way that doesn't make it The 1975s fault, entire legislation doesnt appear overnight because of one western band.

Its not their fault the entire festival was cancelled because no one expected that. The government threw its toys out the pram there. I truly do get being upset to a certain extent but this is something he's always been passionate about just look at dubai.

While I'm not Malaysian I am a queer person who has experienced systemic abuse and gay bashing and this meant so much to me, you can't blame a band for an entire government's actions. Trust me, if Malaysia suddenly produces actual legislation and bans about international acts suddenly then they've always had it, and have always planed it.

A lot of people have been saying they were paid to play and should not of ranted and complained because it was the countries customs and they need to be professional, that it wasn't the right time. But like, there's never a right time or right person for protest, it was always going to be disruptive and controversial, thats the point of protest.

I just think at the end of the day, he's not a hero no. But he is absolutely a good person standing up for what he believes in and always has been to an extent even when he's absolutely fucking dumb sometimes. And this means a lot to a lot of people.

no, they are not. neither is tumblr to some extent. i know i have it so much better here than i would have on twitter or any other platforms. still, there are def people on here trying to spread hate, negativity etc.

absolutely!! allegedly, the govt never wanted to invite them in the first place so that's certainly bias against them to begin with. and now they've got this to prove how they were right to begin with.

i do genuinely feel bad for the other artists who were supposed to perform on day 2 & 3, i really go, but like you said "there's never a right time or right person for protest, it was always going to be disruptive and controversial, thats the point of protest." that is so so true, a protest is never going to sunshine and rainbows. it's meant to make you uncomfortable so you get of your asses and actually try for some change.

Also, the thing that people (who aren't familiar with Eurovision) don't acknowledge is how dramatic, loud and bold it is. Like go big or literally stay home. Basic is clearly not welcome there. I describe Eurovision as the Met Gala of talent shows so if you're going to make significant efforts, don't take part. Why do y'all think the UK stays at the bottom? If Eurovision or Ukraine are making these complaints then I'll listen. If a random person who knows nothing about it is making noise because they don't get it, I don't want to hear it. It's not as if she bought Windsor Castle and decorated it for the performance and that gown can be reworn to several events coming up - Earthshot being one. She was on the screen for all of 10 seconds (so many people had to rewind to make sure they really saw her) and have adults throwing toys out of the pram. I think it's just hard for people to see her embrace her status which makes me excited for the aneurysms at her coronation.

Exactly, everyone from ukraine who i saw online only had positive comments to make over the appearance and even Kalush - the actual people she worked with were happy with what they put out. So I don't think anyone else's opinion holds any weight in this whole thing.

Millie is 19 and she is more mature then that woman (g). She is clearly not made for the acting industry. Joseph gets treated terrible by people online on a daily basis you do not see him throwing his toys out the pram.
