One day I'm going to go into a dogs reddit discussion on pit bulls and NOT be surprised Pikachu when it's people who genuinely have no idea that pit bulls are basically just dogs.

It's just extra lol sob when it's coming out of an ACD group. Buddy, you ask any groomer or vet whether they want to work with a generic ACD or a generic pit bull, and then you come back to me and start fretting whether an ACD could protect you from the mean old pit bulls in the dog park.

What are your thoughts on Project 2025?

sounds like a shit time but also just, like, sounds like the logical conclusion of the overton window shifting as rightward as it has. to a certain extent project 2025 is an extension of black and brown reality in this country and i guess that's why i'm not totally panicked about it. like.... it is bad. but the united states is terrible to begin with, it is a tree with rotten roots and that can only bear rotten fruit, project 2025 is simply one of her stinky fruits birthed from her most rancid branch

also in my opinion, even if the project itself gets blocked via electorate the ideas will stick and spread and morph. republicans in office around the country are already trying to do that on a local scale (florida, for example). that is something i don't think most liberals in this country are prepared for. they won't even let you make silly haha joke about trump nearly getting a head transplant, how are they expecting to combat fascism?

How do you think horizons will handle Carmine and kieran?

i honestly don’t have much in the way of strong predictions? though seeing as kieran is similar to arven with having his character SO tied to his story in SV, i wonder if he’ll be almost entirely irrelevant. i would say “completely” but since horizons has so many family themes and carmine and kieran are siblings i would not be surprised if she at least brings him up or has something with him at Some Point. shrug. excited to see what happens tho!

I'm glad you enjoyed the snake post!! I did too, and so did most of the people that have seen it! normally I'm better at handling the small fraction of annoying people in the notes, this one just hit me in the achilles heel.
