New Pro WvW strat! Cornered by a massive zerg with no hope of survival? Try this one easy trick that all the pro gamers are raving about! Before they can catch you, hit f11- select exit to desktop, enter the windows start menu, select shut down. Now this is important so don't forget this step, unplug your computer. Put it in your car. Drive. Keep driving. Don't stop. Don't stop for anything. Don't stop for anyone. Once you reach an overpass throw your phone out the window without slowing down. Get to the city. Hire a boat. Leave the country. Look at your computer. Do not turn it on. Is this far enough from power? Is this far enough from civilization? Can they still find you? Your friends, your family, you can only hope now that they will be safe. Are there seagulls this far out into open sea? You haven't travelled far enough. Keep driving. But the computer. It beckons. It taunts. You will never be safe yet you cannot bring yourself to do what you know needs to be done. For this stasis, this momentary delay of the slice of fates razor, it can hardly be considered living yet isn't this the smallest bit better than oblivion? We cannot live only to prevent our deaths for that is the life of cowards and fools but isn't it only human to try and fight when we have been cornered? We are only meat and bones. We lack the objectivity, the methodology of metal and wires yet we are in ourselves encoded with our base functions and primal instincts. Who are we to deny our teeth the satisfaction of the fight, the satisfaction of flesh. Who are we to deny God's design. We were built to fight and so we will. Throw the computer overboard. You feel peace. It will not last. The zerg will continue to hunt you, as is their nature, and you will continue to flee, as is yours. Today you are free. You're finally free.

In continuing Zerg, I must also bring up my boy: Dehaka

Oh I can absolutely smash~ Gotta love this hyperevolving godzilla~ Maybe he can breed some cuties full of the next batch of improved primal zerg~ After all, every generation can improve on the next, so better have as many generations as possible~

I desperately want SCAU Niki to be Nerazim and Phil to be Primal Zerg because Wilba and the triple Ts are all firmly Terran as is Q and earlygame Techno. And also Nerazim Niki and Primal Zerg Phil is so fucking cool. But it's proving to be increasingly logistically impossible and this is so annoying to me because we have like NO Protoss or Zerg

But you know what's a little stupid. Primal zerg having packs that function identically to Swarm subgroups. Like I thought the whole thing w/ primal zerg is that they WEREN'T bound to single overriding will. But then they just have spicy arguing broodmothers. Is this like individual governments vs the United one situation

overall the visuals of WMH are really good, and I love the primal vs machine concept a lot (terran vs zerg is also cool), but yea the writing and lore is mid at best

I'm also not a fan of steam-powered anything, simply on principle

More playing around with styles, here’s the most badass lizard, Dehaka!

Not sure if it means anything but it seemed worth discussing

The Overmind Queen of Blades is not often shown without her hydralisks and the Primal Queen of Blades is holds on to her one specific Zergling as long as she could, and I know why that zergling was important but why were the hydralisks so important to her?

I mean of course she loves this little guy, look at that murder puppy.

Human Dehaka

Ah yes, Dehaka. Back when I started playing HOTS I played him a lot and tbh he's really fun! While working on Abathur and Anub'Arak I also started to think about the other characters I like to play and so far I only had a solid idea for Dehaka. Big, strong and muscular; which is outta my comfort zone, but ... hey! Now is the oppertunity to get used to it and I really can't complain! owo

As far as I know, Dehaka was one of many Zerg that lost their connection to the Hivemind after the Overmind died. He's a primal Zerg and the leader of his pack and when Kerrigan found him he immediantly offered to join them, because he knew Kerrigan and her swarm would destroy them if not. Which happened to the other packs that did not join.

So in this AU Dehaka was promoted to be a high ranking officer with his own army, following Zagara's orders without question. He's a calm and collected guy and knows his own strengths and does not underestimate his enemies ... though once he's in battle Dehaka is merciless and tears anybody apart that dares come too close. He also looks for any oppertunity to become stronger, spars with any fellow Zerg or ally to learn from them.

Since Abathur doesn't like Dehaka that much, mostly because he is a primal Zerg, their interactions are met with annoyance from Abathur's side, while Dehaka just deals with the Evolution Master's mood. Back then Kerrigan also ordered Abathur to give Dehaka a robotic arm to replace the one he lost, so he has to come in for maintenance once in a while.

Dehaka doesn't really spend a lot of time with the others, but I can imagine him having a friendship with Anub and yes, Abathur as well. Just cuz I only have their designs ready to go X'D

Trying to wrangle Phil's design for StarCraft AU so I can properly calm down and it's like. Okay so my man Philza is a fuckhuge ancient primal Zerg. We can do birdza and bugza both real okay so fucking huge bug lizard thing and he can have a beak bc have you seen predatory birds' beaks that's Zergcore enough. Give him some bunch of eyes for that Primal Zerg Flair. The hair is pretty iconic tbh so what if I just give this beaked lizard bug monster thing a mane just like thaSCP 682????!?!?!??!???
