As the queen was making arrangements for Viserra’s departure from King’s Landing, the princess traded clothes with one of her maids to escape the guards who had been assigned to keep her out of mischief, and slipped from the Red Keep for what she termed “one last night of laughter before I go and freeze.”

"Princess Viserra, had a will of her own as well, but she never screamed and certainly never cried. Sly was one word used to describe her. Vain was another. Viserra was beautiful, all men agreed, blessed with the deep purple eyes and silver-gold hair of a true Targaryen, with flawless white skin, fine features, and a grace that was somehow eerie and unsettling in one so young. When one stammering young squire told her she was a goddess, she agreed."

KICKS YOUR DOOR DOWN
Tell me about your new OC!
Nat, I am kissing you on the forehead and pulling up the powerpoint presentation!!! thank you for indulging me!! ❤️❤️❤️
okokokokokokok so:
Her name is Hedaera (Daera for short) and she is Vissy and Daemon's younger sister (as of now she's the twin of Baelon & Alyssa's Aegon). She didn't get a dragon or a cool sword like her brothers but she did get the braincell of the family.
Baby Daera is the stereotypical pampered, annoying, daddy's-girl of a little sister and adding someone like that in to the mix that is Baelon & Alyssa's sons has been a lot of fun and a great exercise in creating well-rounded sibling relationships.
So far Daemon is my favorite of all the relationships Daera has. It is such a rollercoaster ride and I love it so much. Never thought Daemon would be my favorite in anything (other than a hitlist).
Still possible subject to change is her marriage, which is currently to the heir and later Lord of Old Oaks in the Reach. But I am pretty sold on this. A marriage to either of her brothers was ruled out on the basis that a) Viserys was too old for her and b) Daemon and her would have either murdered each other or made everybody around them fucking miserable.

Princess Viserra's line
Guess who let themselves think to much HotD and Mikaelsons together.
@riderofblackdragons mostly your fault, you encourage, I share I over think.
also can be blamed on @nightingale2004 Post here
Viserra our drunken horse riding princess got picked as the Mikaelson's Targaryen link so she lives yay, get gets to be the mother of the start of this nightmare mess
Warning for incest, I couldn't pick which parent was the Targaryen before I realised why did I need to pick just one.
Slight changes to Characters names
----
Princess Viserra was once known as the most beautiful of Queen Alysanne Targaryen's daughters, after her marriage she became better known as the cold dragon.
Following her marriage she vowed to give her father what he wanted and never return south, King Jaehaerys wanted his daughters out of his sight so he would never lay eyes on her again.
She kept her word, when years later following the birth of her first child; she refused to present her to the king and queen.
Queen Alysanne flew White Harbor herself with offers and promises, princess Viserra’s children would be princesses and princes of the realm.
Still the princess refused to leave the north instead Queen Alysanne returned to king's landing to present Princess Daehlia to the king, this was repeated the following year for Prince Mikael and a couple of years after that with Princess Aesther.
Theomore Manderly was clearly proud of his youngest children but after the birth of Princess Aesther he refused to share his wife’s bed claiming he had been widowed enough that he wouldn’t risk losing his princess.
Even when King Jaehaerys grew ill and it was said pleaded for his daughters and wife, Princess Viserra, his last living daughter, laughed and refused at both the letter summoning her south and her children’s request.
Her father didn’t want his daughter running about the kingdom, she had sworn a vow and she would keep it.
As the children grew it was clear while Princess Daehlia had gotten her mother’s dark purple eyes and fine features even if she had gotten the dark hair found in northerners, her younger siblings were thought of as the king and queen come again.
Yet the arrangement came from kings landing that princess Viserra’s eldest children would wed as the Targaryen way, however Princess Daehlia vanished before the wedding could pass and Prince Mikael and Princess Aesther wedded.
Rumours spread that Mikael had done away with his dark haired sister so he could wed his golden one.
But however it happened, the marriage proved more fruitful than the royal couple’s with their second child coming just days after the princess Rhaenyra’s tenth birthday.
While the lost of their first born Fraeya was said to have gutted the prince and princess the safe delivery of another son just months after her death was considered a breath of hope; but no one knows why, when any mention of how much the new child favoured the lost Princess Daehlia was met with rage from the new parents.
—--
“Brother please” his little brother’s normally controlled voice contained almost panic when he discovered in his room “don’t do this.”
“Aelijah.“ Finn sighed pausing in his packing, “I can't be father’s heir.” he tried to explain.
“And I can?” Aelijah heaved a sigh forcing Finn to turn to look at his little brother, just turned four and ten years old but with his hands set on his hip and looking at him with a serious look in his dark purple eyes he looked far older. Aelijah could be the perfect heir if not for birth order and the other misfortune of birth.
Finn stepped forward the moment he noticed the expression crumpled, Finn wasn’t sure if it was greenseeing of grandfather’s northern blood or the dragon dreams of grandmother’s but the dreams had left AElijah overcome with moments of fear and confusion. Finn had grown up managing his brother’s slip ups, he knew Niklaeus was just a versed, he wasn’t truly needed anymore
“Finn the things that are coming,” AElijah muttered into his chest “the house of the dragon is going to snap and claw and bleed itself and I can't face it alone.”
“Alright, I'll find another way.” He lied.
Prince Finn was last seen travelling with a flame-haired wildling woman.
—-
Rumours abound that Hayley Stark’s daughter is the child of Niklaeus’ not Aelijah’s, and Cregan used the shame to bring the calmer of the royal brothers into his house than lose his sister to another but whatever the truth was Prince Mikael’s rage at losing another heir was clear to all.
There was no talk about the marriage itself the north knew better than to question whatever is going on between the younger sister of Cregan Stark, Prince Mikael’s former heir and Lord Knott, it was their marriage and the mountain clans had their own way of doing things.
—-
Klaeus hates his father, that Mikael’s grasping reach for power was the reason Aelijah took the first chance to flee to House Stark.
He knows Mikael blamed him for everything, that Niklaeus’ arranged it all so he could wed Rebaekah himself but he wanted his siblings to stay with him losing Aelijah to the starks was not part of it.
He was just glad he could still over over him though the ravens, it was how he knew the dreams were getting worse.
Klaeus grew up with Aelijah's dreams and then Rebaekah’s he knew to listen and read them, House Targaryen was going to tear itself apart and Mikael's want to be a part of it, for the power, was going to destroy them.
Klaeus was going to need to do something about his parents before they got them all killed.

“No mother should ever have to burn her child,” the queen had said at the funeral pyre of her son Valerion, but of the thirteen children she bore to King Jaehaerys, only three of them would survive her, Aegon, Gaemon, and Valerion died as babes. The Shivers took Daenerys at the age of six. A crossbow slew Prince Aemon. Alyssa and Daella died in childbed, Viserra drunk in the street. Septa Maegelle, that gentle soul, died in 96 AC, her arms and legs turned to stone by greyscale, for she had spent her last years nursing those afflicted with that horrible condition. Saddest of all was the loss of Princess Gael, the Winter Child, born in 80 AC when Queen Alysanne was forty-four and thought to be well past her childbearing years. A sweet-natured girl, but frail and somewhat simpleminded, she remained with the queen long after her other children had grown and gone, but in 99 AC she vanished from court, and soon afterward it was announced that she had died of a summer fever. Only after both her parents were gone did the true tale come out. Seduced and abandoned by a traveling singer, the princess had given birth to a stillborn son, then, overwhelmed by grief, walked into the waters of Blackwater Bay and drowned.
Fire and Blood (George R. R. Martin)
Yeah, I'm sure Alysanne's age during the pregnancy had no effect on Gael... Especially since Alysanne almost died during her two previous births...

Hi. I love your style both the doll style and the other one(is there a name to it?). I loved your recent viserra, it reminded me of a fic I read long ago.
In mid 93 AC, Lord Theomore finally passed at the age of seventy-seven. At the funeral the Princess wore a rather scandalous gown, a risque cut dress, though the princess would simply name it 'Valyrian fashion', as she has done a thousand times over. It was known the Princess was quite fond of Valyrian fashion. It was made from the finest silk that cascaded like flowing water, in a haunting black colour. It was trimmed with black layered myrish lace at the ends. The dress had red myrish lace motifs of dragons it was embroidered with threads of pure gold. The black silk had thousands of small diamonds, both white and black and the red lace had hundreds of small rubies, so small, each of the gems made the whole dress shimmer with each of her movements, the sunlight only illuminating it, making her seem almost ethereal. The ends of her skirt had red flames with. Her neck and shoulders were left completely uncovered, the dress's neckline gracefully exposing the princess's shoulders. A flowing cape of black silk seamlessly connected to the back of the dress, cascading down with elegance. The dress hugged every inch of her frame leaving no sight for modesty. Around her waist she wore a belt made of valyrian steel, it was covered in rubies, it had dragons carved on it with two dragons facing off on front of her belt. She wore a veil made of silk tulle to cover her lovely face as a sign for modesty, but anyone who knew her would know it was to simply hide her blooming smile no one had seen in years. Atop her veil, she adorned a tiara crafted from a fallen tooth of her dragon, black and dark with six rubies, for six years of her damned marriage. On her ears, she wore earrings of Valyrian steel, ornate black metal with rubies and small vials—each vial that hangs contains her own blood, for the blood she had bleed through her whole marriage. Her ringlets that she had not cut since cut since founding out about her pregnancy had now reached her thighs, cascading gracefully in lustrous flowing curls.
I know it's too much to ask, but I've had this dress in my mind for years. And I would love to see it in your style. I hope I don't sound much too demanding or anything. Thank you☺️💓
Im not the best at clothing visualization, which i guess is kinda bad since i love costume design, BUT i did my best and i hope you like it!!❤
(Also for the style question i have three that i default to, my paper doll style, chicken style and portrait style. I used my paper doll and portrait styles the most.)

@meraxest sent after what happened before, i can't let you out of my sight. / from daemon, perhaps after her attempt to claim the cannibal?
viserra didn't understand why he could possibly think she could no longer be trusted. she could barely walk on her own without the burns on her body aching and stinging. she could not get very far at all. the dragonhead cane that had been brought to her as soon as she was well enough to leave her bed felt like it was laughing at her. she hated it, but it worked to take some of the pain way. "i could not get out of your sight if i tried," she replied. it was much sharper than her tone had ever been before. "i only wished to see the sunset, i am not running away, father."

I...don't like but I understand not wanting women to marry out of the Targaryen House when the dragons were alive. You would be giving other houses and their future heirs dragons.
But after Rhaenyra? After the dragons are dead? Its better make more alliances by marriage now you don't have dragons.
Daella wasn't a dragon rider, neither was Viserra or Saera, so I kinda understand why arranged marriages still on the table for them.
I am also confused about Laena's former betrothal, the son of a sealord from Braavos begin given a bride with Vhagar? Jason Lannister begin a potential groom for Syrax's rider? Rhaenyra would want her children to be dragon riders.
They would be giving House Lannister dragons? Sounds fishy.
I still don't think incest is the answer.

Rhaenyra and Rhaenys (The Conqueror) are the only queens whose private/sexual life was constantly under scrutiny and countless rumours were invented to ruin their reputations, yet people claim Rhaenys parallels Laena? In what universe? 🙄
Hi there Anon!
I can't say that this is accurate. Most women from House Targaryen had their sex life scrutinised in the books, that is in no way unique to Rhaenys and Rhaenyra. I am also quite unsure on how fair it is to compare the rumours between the two of them.
Rhaenys was rumoured *sigh* to take on multiple lovers between her favourites and while there were "whispers" that Aenys was not Aegon's son, his real father is not even named by anyone in the books. Meanwhile, Rhaenyra is mentioned to have taken on two lovers, first Daemon before she was married, and then Harwin, after she married Laenor. The latter is also named as the father of her three sons by several sources. The only one who denies Harwin was Rhaenyra's lover is Eustace though he later slips when he mentions that Daemon saw Harwin as competition for Rhaeyra's affections. However, in Rhaenyra's case there is ample proof that both of these "rumours" were actually quite true as we have significant evidence that are presented as facts and not as theories or rumours - i.e., how much time she spent with Daemon and how he behaved towards her, how Harwin courted her, how close she was to each of these men, the appearance of the "Velaryon" princes - for anyone who still has doubt it is BROWN hair and BROWN eyes and a pug nose like Harwin had - and how she behaved when Daemon and her became widows. Concerning Criston and Rhaenyra, while he was a favourite of hers, this was when she was a child/very young girl, before Daemon returned in 111 AC, and mostly it makes him look bad, not her. Eustace, a Green, very much blames Criston, Alicent, another Green, makes him sound like a creep when she asks who protected Rhaenyra from him -> before she decided to turn a blind way to what she said a few years before and take him on. This was when Rhaenyra was around 12/13 btw and again, before Daemon returned. Mushroom is the one who does blame Rhaenyra, making her sound like a Lolita of sorts, even so, he maintains that the two were never lovers (much like Eustace doea).
With Queen Rhaenys there is no such evidence to these "affairs", it really comes down to whispers. It's said she entertained a number of singers, poets, etc in her chambers but it's never mentioned she was alone with any of them. Moreover, while Aenys was not very strong he resembled a Targaryen, and his son Aegon was said to be the spitting image of Aegon the Conqueror, Aenys's father.
If we are just speaking queens, that would not be fair since Laena was never a queen, nor even a princess, so even if she had rumours surrounding her, by that premise we could not compare her to Rhaenys. If we are broadly talking about Targaryen women Saera, Viserra, Alyssa, Rhaena (Aenys's daughter), and Baela, had their private lives put on display and countless both facts and rumours are presented about them. For instance, it was rumoured that Rhaena - compared to her grandmother Rhaenys in appearance all the time - lost her V card to a singer in one of her flights on Dreamfyre.
Looking now at only queens, seldom were Rhaenys and Rhaenyra the only ones whose private life is examined. People tend to conveniently forget that actually Alicent had quite a few rumours about herself, yes all put forward by Mushroom, but brought up in the books nonetheless. And on this a note. It will never not be funny to be how people are willing to believe everything Mushroom says about Rhaenyra at face-value no matter how little sense it makes, yet they brush aside everything he says about Alicent. Just something for people to ponder. Moving on though, Mushroom claimed not only that Daemon took Alicent's v-card and that was why Otto hated him, but also that she performed s€ggsual favours for Jaehaerys. Furthermore, he also maintains she and Viserys were intimate before they married. So actually, she was a queen who did have her private/seggsual life talked about. The same is also true of Maegor's queens, especially Alys Harroway. Even of Tyanna of the Tower we hear rumours.
All in all, I don't think there's much about Laena and Rhaenys that warrants any great parallel or comparison, nonetheless, saying only Rhaenyra and Rhaenys had their private lives dissected is also not accurate.
All the best :)
