The Mikealson ball goes on, Elijah is not enjoying it before he gets dragged into being part of the hosts

Elijah bit back the urge to curse out loud as he saw Elena enter the ball despite his pleas that she stay away from Esther, why couldn’t his sibling just listen to him, before he could make his way to her and try to get her to leave he was stopped by another sibling.

“Elijah.” Finn called as he stepped into his path, Elijah had managed to avoid him and Klaus since he arrived, mostly staying at Jenna’s side or speaking with Kol and he flickered around the room to greet all the guests, likely on mother’s order. 

He stopped, not that he had much choice as Finn stood in front of him, he hated the fact he had to look up to meet Finn’s eyes at this closeness.

“This is a new start.” Finn tried to reason with him as he glared back, at least he didn’t need to explain to Finn why he was angry at him.

“She’s the one who failed us,” he snapped back, reminding his brother.

“Elijah we all need to-” his brother started but Elijah cut him off with a laugh.

“Change” he finished before stepping away“and yet you return to the same place you have always been, at mother’s side, clinging to her skirt.”

He frowned as Finn following him forcing him to step further away from where he had left Jenna and Elena who he noticed was joined by both his other brother, the Salvatore could at least keep his self sacrificing twin with the witch with a habit of using doppelganger blood

“Tell me brother who has placed the job of minding our siblings since i’m not returning to the role?” he asked, covering his annoyance as he realised he was being shepherded away with a taunt he knew would push Finn’s patience.

“Mother wants to see you.” Finn admitted as Elijah realised he had been led away, not just from his family but to a side door, one clearly closed off for guests. 

As much as he wanted to remind them he was just a guest here and pull away from Finn to return to his family, he could also feel Klaus on the other side of the door.

It was rather clear this ‘choice’ only had one answer.

“Of course, always the errand boy.” he signed as he gave in, he would have left it if he hadn’t noticed the shift in Finn’s expression a mix of pleasure and getting what he wanted and fulfilling mother’s request, “You’re pathetic.” he smiled coldly at his brother before turning away and barely glancing at Klaus as he met him on the other side of the door.

After months living in this house as it was renovated, and the last kept them as little more than house arrest he knew where they were going.

He isn’t surprised to find Esther standing of the otherside in the living room waiting for him, he is however to find Kol and Rebekah also waiting there, so this was planned, he didn’t glance at either of them in betrayal for not warning, he understood.

It's just he no longer cared about Esther’s wishes.

So had she called him here to humiliate him in front of them as a warning to them or was this an attempt for her to remind him of the full family, to use his siblings against him.

Unfortunately for her, his complete family didn’t include her and he would love to see what would happen if she attempted to ban his siblings from seeing him.

“How can I help you Mrs Mikaelson?” he asked the image of a polite guest, ignoring as Finn and Klaus followed him into the room.

She sighed heavily as if he had disappointed her.

“Elijah, I expect you to deal with your petulantance.”she told him “I understand the emotional issues returning to a younger body and reliving childhood could have confused you, I’ve watched over you, I understand what you have gone through from this curse.”

He choked at her words, refusing to let the panic he felt at the thought of her watching from the other side as he worked on the street, as he crawled after Tristan and cried himself to sleep for the first few years he was in the hospital praying his uncle would come back for him.

“May I suggest getting yourself checked out at the hospital.” he offered turning his choking into an amused scoff, “either your hearing is going for your having memory issues but I told you this morning you're not my mother.” he repeated.

Elijah didn’t look away from her but he heard his siblings shift around the room, clearly uncomfortable at the tension or that he hadn’t given in.

Maybe that was why hse had chosen to do this in front of an audience she was hoping he’d give in to spare them of the discomfort, he had never really liked conflict in his first life.

Turns out that’s something he had learned to, some point over the last thousand years.

“Elijah, do not embarrass me.” she snapped.

“I’m sorry,” he demurred, looking down but watching from the corner of his eyes as she relaxed before speaking again “but your continued existence is an embarrassment to Niklaus reputation.”

“Hey!” Klaus snapped from the side only stopped by her hand wave.

“I mean how come you fail to make sure she stays dead but Zach does.” he called over as if the use of his brother’s name so carelessly didn’t hurt, he rolled his shoulder well aware that his looser postured made Klaus uncomfortable a reminder that he wasn’t just his responsible controlled older brother.

“Zachary Salvatore is on the other side,” Esther spoke softly, soothing, Elijah froze as something crawled its way up his throat. “He wouldn’t want this for you-”

Right, it was repulsion in his throat, at the idea she could use Zach against him. That anyone could use Zee against him when Zee was his, only his, they were all each other had. 

Stop living for others, you're free. Live however you want EJ, Zee’s last words for him, going to his death but more concerned Elijah would lose himself in the afterwards.

She was smiling so sure that had swayed him.

“Since Klaus failed to make your stay there permanent, maybe I can try.” he smiled back, ignoring the way all his siblings flinched.

He wasn’t surprised by the sudden movement from the edges of the room.

Finn and Klaus, Mother’s golden boys. He really needed to deal with the unfortunate refresh of his childhood feelings that the age of his body had brought and Esther’s return had empowered.

Two hands grabbed him at the same time both very much going to leave bruises, the hand on his right catching his shoulder thumb pressing onto his collar bone while the other vice like hand curled around his forearm, he didn’t look away from Esther’s eyes keeping a smile on his face but he noticed the taller one was on his right, Finn’s grip was the one threatening to break his collarbone with the grip tighter than Klaus.

Seemed Klaus has learned a little.

“BOYS STOP!” she shouted after a moment’s delay, was that shock at her son’s attacking the normal peacekeeper or had she wanted Elijah to get a warning from it, Elijah tried not to wonder anymore, he didn’t care about anything Esther wanted. “I expect you to be civilised,” he bites back the comment over learning that from the Gilberts, “not act like animals” he heard his own teeth click as he swallowed another comment over her taste in lovers, he had brought Klaus into this once already.

“Fine, what do you want?” he sighed, rolling his shoulders as he did, the sooner he agreed to whatever she wanted, the sooner he could leave and get away from her.

“You’re to stand with the family during the toast.” she told him, the frown on her face, this had clearly not gone how she wanted.

“Why?” he asked, know there was more to it but unable to see what

“The town knows you,” she smiles and he hates that he knows it means she won, “they trust you, it will help us settle in peacefully.”

He agrees with annoyance he doesn’t let himself show.

He downs the drink the moment the toast is raised, the glass cracking in his grip.

How dare she! Airing his family secret, his adoption, to the town just so she could claim him, at least it was only his birth he brought into question.

That she had let Elena alone.

Still he’d take Isobel over Esther.

Fine, she wanted to be his mother in the eyes of the town, she could have it. The town was going to have questions and they would go to Elijah first, he was the one they knew, he’d grown up with these people, he knew just the ones that would spread the story faster than Esther could.

Elijah was going to be honest, as honest as he could and she couldn’t blame him if it was the truth, it was her own fault if it embarrassed her.

guillermo IS already evil but he does have this thin veneer of morality to him. like put against the vampires he seems like the Normal Person but no he is just as insane as any of them. for anyone whos watched the vampire diaries i think it would be soooooo funny if wwdits had a morality switch mechanism in the same way. guillermo would get turned and immediately turn his morality switch off and go absolutely insane. that veneer would be GONE . like there would be a whole half a season where its just different characters working together to try to get him to turn his morality switch back on

When Phoenix was a kid, he was essentially human. His dormant supernatural genes (werewolf from one side, phoenix from the other) were activated when he swallowed the poison bottle necklace (the little bit of poison/potion left in the bottle reacted with his body and woke up those parts of him).

With Miles, he was human until he was 13, which is when Von Karma turned him into a vampire (in the anime, 13 is the age where he is given the cravat/jabot, and so I have those things happen at the same time)

Trucy, Athena, and Apollo will go flying, but Phoenix is still very much afraid of heights

The Feys are faes/fairies/however you choose to spell it. I think Angel Starr would be a good match for an angel, but Damon Gant is a storm elemental ^^ I’m trying to think of if there’s other characters whose names are related to what monster they are, but I can’t think of any others off the top of my head. For Phoenix, It wasn’t because his name was Phoenix that he became a phoenix. He was probably named after his heritage, much like how people will name their kids after relatives or ancestors. If there was a kid named Fungus, that just means that kid has some terrible parents.

Vampires like Miles (turned vamps) can eat other foods, but the colour red provides more energy and blood is the highest source of energy and nutrition. Natural vampires can’t really process other food that well if it’s not majorly red or doesn’t have blood in it because their bodies weren’t made for that. It won’t kill them, but it’s like a lactose intolerant person eating dairy.

WIP Wednesday

Since I started a WIP for RWRB, I wanted to share it here as this was something I used to do during my Olicity days and I miss it :)

This is a Historical AU set in the 1890's New York where Henry is a Slayer and Alex is a vampire. Somehow, they are not in a hurry to kill each other.

Not for the first time that night, Henry wonders what the bloody hell he’s doing here.

Here is an empty, sinister back alley in the Meatpacking District, after nearly tripping on the freight train tracks on 10th Avenue. Thankfully, no one is around so late to witness his clumsiness.

No one human, that is. 

It’s a frosty November night, and he shivers. Despite being made of the finest wool by one of the most upscale tailors of Bond Street, it is still not warm enough to fend off the cold of an American winter. He’s just happy Bea and he arrived in New York after the Great Blizzard of 1888, and hoped this year is not a prelude to a repeat performance.

Patrolling in New York is similar to patrolling in London. The smells are the same, hints of sewer and garbage, a potent odor of meat and dairy coming from the surrounding warehouses, and the sound and humid air coming from the Hudson instead of the Thames. 

He could be home with a nice cup of Earl Grey and his old, battered copy of Pride and Prejudice. Or maybe Jane Eyre. He meant to start that one a while ago but hasn’t found the time yet. Too many books, too little time.

His hand squeezes around the stake he’s holding, focusing on his surroundings. It wouldn’t be very clever of him to be ambushed because he was daydreaming (or is it night dreaming, in this case?) about Mr. Darcy or Mr. Rochester.

He hasn’t used the stake yet tonight since Bea and he went their separate ways, but he can hear some shouting and grunts in the distance. Sounds like Bea is more busy than he is. He’s not worried, though. His sister excels at this. She always has.

It is their legacy, after all. 

Bea thrives on it.

Henry…Not so much.

five is an interesting number because-- discounting the four wips I consider active and the fan music I've written-- I've only published seven fics. so this'll be less a question of which ones I include and more a question of which I don't.

in no particular order:

Through His Stomach - Black Sails - E - 24k - ongoing this is my dark fairytale au. when I refer to "hagfic" I'm talking about this piece. Thomas is dying, and Flint strikes a deal with a mysterious magical entity known as the Cook to save his life. this fic is full of hunger and magic and psychosexual fixation and devotion and desperation and cannibalism and some of the most gorgeous prose I've ever written in my life. I learned how to write smut for this fic. it's my pride and joy. it has my heart in a way no other fic ever will.

Ner Tamid - Black Sails - M - 3k - complete if Through His Stomach has my heart, Ner Tamid has my soul. this is a character study about Silver and judaism and grief, masquerading as canon divergence wherein he cannibalizes Muldoon's corpse in the doldrums. I had a fun little mental health episode the night before my mom's birthday and wrote this whole thing in one ten-hour sitting. it's a pesach story-- the doldrums the plagues, Muldoon Nachshon, the dairy goat the paschal lamb, and Silver the prophet. Silver Moses. it's about the burden of responsibility and the burden of survival. it's about seeing how far you'd go just to keep shouldering that weight.

Sanguine - Ted Lasso - M - 19k - complete my Trent/Ted vampire au featuring Trent as the vampire (I got nearly 30k into my Trent/Ted vampire au featuring Ted as the vampire, but I honestly don't know if I'll ever finish that one). Sanguine is an s2 canon divergence wherein Trent goes into a frenzy after Ted lies about his panic attack and kills someone. it's about want and monstrosity, about seeing the grotesque and loving it anyway. I'm especially proud of how the narrative voice shifts between the scenes from Trent's pov and Ted's. it's just… a good story. Ted Lasso is the biggest fandom I've written for, so it makes sense that this is my most popular fic, but it very much deserves to be my most popular fic regardless. it's just a good story. it's a good story.

Cold, Dark, Depraved - Black Sails - E - 10k - complete my latest crime, extremely heavy on the angst. I nicknamed this fic "anti-comfort fic" on purpose. a canon-compliant look at s3 and s4 wherein Silver and Flint had been sleeping together for a long while, then broke up when they got to Maroon Island. it's about grief and cruelty and saying, "there can be no happiness in the world, and to prove it I will go out of my way to eradicate any shred of happiness I can find." this is a fic about beating yourself half to death and digging your fingers into every bruise. it's about love and denial and care and grief. grief is my favorite subject.

Five Girls Annie Almost Kissed and One She Did - Community - T - 11k - complete this is the earliest fic on my ao3 (I had a different account I used in high school; it's still out there somewhere but it's not worth finding). a canon-compliant character study of Annie from middle school all the way through the first few seasons of the show, chronicling her journey towards discovering lesbianism. I'm sure if I rewrote it today, six years later, it would look very different, but it's precious to me as it is. this is a fic about Annie, and it's a fic about me in equal measure.

there it is. that's my five. shout-out to the two I didn't include (Fraught, 15k of fucked-up smut for a book series three people have read, and Crawl 'Til Dawn, the Annie/Britta vampire au I left unfinished for four and a half years but finally got me back into writing, another piece I'd do very differently if I wrote it today).

Monster Hunter au!

Okay so im just doing just his backstory and um tw/cw: abuse, homophobia and blood

So tsunagu grew up with his rich family and all went well rlly! He had (key word had) a good relationship with all his family

The only problem was that he was a lil fruity and he knew his parents wouldn't like that so he kept that hidden

He often wrote in a diary to help him cope with eveyday struggles and the fruity ones

This ended up being his down fall though. One night one of the maid summoned tsunagu down to the main hall where his mother and father were waiting. His mother was crying while his dad was giving him a look that could kill an already dead person

He knew at that moment that they've found the dairy. He tried to defend himself/minimize the issue but it was fruitless

Suddenly 2 of his uncle's grab him by the arms as he tried to escape

Outside in the court yard were no outsider could see tsunagu is tied to the table while his family stares, some in tears while others seemingly ashamed just to be in his presence. His mother pleds with his father once more if this is rlly necessary but the father only nods his head

A bat sores into the court yard infront of were tsunagu lies

Seconds later that bat turns into a vampire. The father tells him he's all yours if you agree to leave the family alone

The vampire agrees and seals his seal on tsunagu heart

Then father takes a fine brush out and does the same apond his son's neck

After that the family leaves the court yard in silence. The vampire then looks at the young boy's eyes and decides to take pitty on him by turning him into a vampire instead of just killing him.

So yeah ✨️trama✨️

Day 4 Swaying

Again late for day 4 whumpril, even though i wrote this mostly at the same time of day 3

a direct follow on from Day 3 and a glimpse into Tristan view of his relationship with Elias

Again warnings for implied Sexual content, Elias doesn't have much of a choice in things but assumes that's normal. This is a very abusive situation as Tristan has been playing mind games with Elias since he found him.

Elias did have his own room but Tristan had come to enjoy sharing a bed, during sleep Elias had no mask, so everything was laid bare and at times Elias reached out in his nightmares and would sink into his touch, pliant and trusting. 

So Elias only used the bed in his room when he was healing, having one of his episodes, when Tristan was away.

So Tristan waited in his bed for Elias to arrive after Lucien was done with him.

The boy arrives at his door swaying, the angry raw wounds covering his neck, and likely more hidden by the gown he wore, clearly the cause of it.

 Lucien had taken it too far it seemed, he knew it was a likely possibility when he had agreed, Lucien hated Elijah as much as he and his sister did and there was a reason he had no intention of letting Aurora ever meet Elias.

He smothered his annoyance by calling Elias over to the bed with a wave.

The sight of Elias following his orders alway soothed away his ire.

Which is why when Elias stopped at the edge of the bed he frowned, had tonight damaged the trust he had been growing in the boy more than he had thought it would. 

He had enjoyed seeing the spark of betrayal in the boy’s eyes, when he had turned to look at him for reinsurance. The sight of Elijah Mikealson looking at him with pleading and betrayal was something he would keep in his mind until the day he was able to get the real thing, however Elias wasn’t Elijah, for all they looked the same.

In the beginning it wouldn’t have been there, it was proof his pet had gotten comfortable around him and learned to trust him, it had taken him months to convince the boy he could say no.

Tristan as started to look forward to those time to enjoy the shock Elias couldn’t hide at the idea of being listened to and the punishments afterwards Elias accepted without hesitation.

 It would be a pain to have to do all that work again but then again it could also be a new punishment he could use.

“Are you angry at me, Elias?” he asked, keeping his tone mild and without judgement, the boy was very observant.

“No sir,” Elias responded with the slightest shake of his head. “I have no reason to be angry, it was your choice.” came the common answer, one he hadn’t had to train into him, and after speaking to him had come before his time on the street.

Sometimes Tristan wished he could meet the boys parents, just to see what they were like, maybe to shake their hands before he killed them.

He wondered how Elias would react if he showed him after, did he have the same loyalty to his blood Elijah had?

“Then why are you still standing there?” he asked after a moment.

“I should shower.” Elias explained making him blink, that was a fair point, Tristan really didn’t want anything of Lucien in his bed. It was bad enough he allowed him to use Elias at all, but the boy was barely able to stay standing.

“You're barely keeping yourself upright,” he told the boy shaking his head, “what else should have been expected of the manners of a servant's son.” he muttered to himself as Elias started to move again. 

He watched as Elias climbed into the bed, the side he had started to label Elias's in his head, the careful way he moved proving Lucien had likely left bruises besides the bitemarks, it was going to takes days for him to heal.

“Who is Elijah?” Elias asked moments after he had settled, Tristan stared at him. The boy didn’t look like he had any more of an idea than he normally did when he corrected him, of the rare times he slipped and used his sire’s name instead of his boy’s.

“An old enemy of ours,” he explain shortly adding “yes he is the one you resemble.” before the other could say another thing, he was still unsure why the boy looked so much like his sire and the Strix witches had nothing to help him with the question.

The most any of the Strix could get on their absence Sire was dagger, besides his siblings in the coffins Klaus kept them in it seemed from the outside Klaus had exchanged one older brother for the other.

“-why you took me in?” Elias' question brought him from his fantasies on what had caused Klaus to dagger his favourite brother for over a century now?

“Yes. What? You have more to ask?” he demanded as he noticed Elias was still clearly questioning something as he bit his lip, Tristan narrowed his eyes as Elias seemed to have to work himself up to ask.

“Whose Klaus- Niklaus?”

“Where did you hear that?” he snapped, came out sharped than he planned but why would his boy ever hear- Lucien-

“Mr - he told me to call him that.” Elias stumbled over his words, not meeting his eyes instead looking at his hands, he blinked at the oddness of the behaviour before the full meaning hit him.

Tristan laughed, the confused frown on the teenager’s face deepening but Tristan didn’t bother to stop it as the picture built in his head, taking one of Klaus’s most important things, using Klaus himself to debase the image of his brother.

He found himself laughing so much it ached and Elias's expression shifted to concern.

“Pay it little heed, you won’t hear it again.” he managed to speak once the laughter lessened, he would never tell Lucien but it was brilliantly played if only either the true Elijah or Klaus could have seen it.

I could see that. Melissa in that AU would want to be away from her family but reasonably she’d have to work if she wanted to run away and Artemis, since Melissa would already know about their existence, wouldn’t have much other choice unless he were to erase her memory or turn her Melissa would happily work for him. Perhaps doing errands and stuff that vampires wouldn’t normally do or working a lot in the summer since there are the most daylight hours at that time?

Melissa though would totally happily work for Artemis so long as she could stay with the vampires and their community. In fact she might even, when she isn’t busy, start writing ‘Dairy of a Vampire’s Servant’ or something of the sort as a short novel about her own time working for the coven.

Oh boy, you're gonna wish you'd never asked 😆 Long post ahead

🎧 Vlad is a huge fan of 80s synth-pop and new wave. Depeche Mode, The Cure, The Smiths, Duran Duran, Tears For Fears, Pet Shop Boys, a-ha, and New Order, to name just a few.

🎵 On a similar (quarter) note, music from the late 70s and early 80s is still difficult for him to listen to because it reminds him of the years he was pining for Maddie, the accident, and being hospitalized. Mid-80s music and beyond, when he began to take his life back and build his wealth and power, is his "good old days" music.

🎹 Another music headcanon: In Familiar, I hinted at Vlad being a pianist. I think he'd look pretty hot playing a saxophone, maybe even a trumpet. And Martin Mull is a pretty good guitarist and singer, so Vlad also having those talents would be really cool. But I like to believe that Vlad plays the geekiest, dorkiest, nerdiest, most Slav-coded instrument of all: the accordion. Just imagine him torturing Danny and Sam and Tucker with polka music and ballads about cheese while on a camping trip. Maybe Wulf howling in agony from somewhere in the woods.

🧀 Yeah, he’s basically the negaverse equivalent of Weird Al.

👂 Vlad got his ear pierced in the mid-90s.

🔥 Despite being a fire specter ("having a fire core", to use the phandom terms), Vlad loves the cold. Winter is his favorite season, Christmas his favorite holiday. A bit of a spoiler for either chapter 13 or 14 of Familiar: Vlad is a superb ice skater.

💔 Besides his mother, Maddie was the only woman Vlad ever loved.

🐄 Vlad grew up the son of a poor Wisconsin dairy farmer. His mother was a first-generation Romanian* immigrant. He was the first member of his family to go to college, and on a full scholarship. He has no siblings. (*I may adapt Vlad’s nationality depending upon the story/art/situation, but generally I like to HC him as Romanian, which you can see on his backpack here in this AU.)

👊 Vlad was a victim of bullying in his teen years. Because of his first name and his ethnicity—not to mention his appearance and disposition: skinny, gangly, "ugly", shy, nerdy, poor—Halloween was always a miserable time for him: getting pelted with plastic vampire fangs in the hallways at school; cruel nicknames like "Count Vladislob" or "Vladis-louse"; racist remarks about his Romani mother; "Bleh bleh! I vant to suck your bluud!" It was awful.

✌️ Because he spent so many years being made to feel ashamed of his unusual name, when he became rich and successful after obtaining his ghost powers, he put his name and initial everywhere. V for Vlad.

🏈 Vlad got his love of Green Bay from his father. Apart from a shared surname, it was one of the only two (2) things he and his dad had in common.

🔧 Working on farm machinery like tractors and hay balers was the other. Vlad and his dad would often fix the farm equipment themselves rather than hire a mechanic—mostly out of necessity. Vlad is still pretty good with a monkey wrench, though in college his focus shifted from engineering to physics after meeting Jack and Maddie.

🚀 Vlad grew up in the sixties. Space race, the moon landing, the Cold War. Every kid his age had space fever. Vlad was no exception. His bedroom walls were a collage of stars, rockets, shuttles, astronauts, and cosmonauts. Yuri Gagarin was his hero. He wanted to be an astronaut when he grew up. (Just like Danny.)

🩸 I mentioned this on another post, but I'll add it here, too: Vlad's obsession with gaining more power stems from the trauma and weakness he experienced when he was hospitalized. He made a vow to never be that helpless again.

🪦 Both of Vlad's parents were dead by the time he got out of the hospital. He was estranged from the rest of the Masters family and therefore had no one to turn to.

👶 Because of this, Vlad became obsessed with having a family of his own. Ironically, the accident sterilized him. He will never be able have biological children.

🍪 Some of Vlad’s happiest memories are baking with his mother. He had (and still does have) quite a sweet tooth—and a penchant for cooking.

Emmett Cullen's new fc is Michael Malarkey (Enzo from Vampire Dairies). Kellan Lutz will be saved as an alternative.

I....have changed my mind about using Sean Teale for Dorian Pavus's fc, I'm not as satisfied as I was. Until I find a good replacement, I will be using icons from Dragon Age Inquisition game for Dorian's threads/starters. I might also change Cullen's fc, I love Charlie Hunnam but there's a personal reason that I will not go into as it's stupid. But this decision is not yet decided.

I will be adding three new muses (perhaps a fourth), modernized human version of the kittens from Disney's Aristocats (Marie, Toulouse, and Berlioz) set in their early to mid 20s. The fourth potential muse is their mother Duchess.

Bella Swan is most likely going to make a return and be written mostly in her au hunter/spn verse.

I've received an anon who's tone I felt was aggressive over not having bio pages for my muses so I am not going to directly reply to it, but basically I will reiterate that yes, I have no bio pages as of right now because they are under construction as is a lot of the blog still (aka navigation and several tags), I'm slow and lazy and I'm sorry but also kinda not. It is stated in my pinned post rules that if you have any questions please ask, I will be glad to answer (whenever I am able to). I doubt that anon is from anyone I currently rp with and is just someone crossing my blog but I feel the need to this it anyway.

Also a reminder that replies are being queued gradually. My queue total is at 22 (including non replies) and is currently paused until I have more threads in there.
