So, short answer is yes, while the first digital mockups I made were designed just for my own reference and as color guides for transferring the designs painstakingly by hand, I ended up going back to them and turning them all into digital vectors. This means they can be printed onto transfer paper or directly onto stabilized fabric for stitching, which is MUCH easier than drawing by hand. Lots of people asked me if I could sell the designs so I figured this part out and was able to test it myself--the tower embroidery was an example of printing the vector directly onto the fabric and worked out great!

Long answer is after I did that, I uh, never figured out how or where to list them for sale online. Or what all to include with them--like what level of written instruction to include, should i also make notes on the thread colors I picked, should I include my colored-in-versions as color guides or just let everyone free-for-all it, in the case of the Tower embroidery i also hand-dyed a lot of grey thread that was crucial for it coming out how i wanted it to look--is it deceptive to sell a pattern when other people can't necessarily recreate it the same way because of that? Should I list in general the dye instructions if they wanna recreate it, or for people who want some of my extra thread or for people who don't have an inkjet printer so can't print the design onto the fabric themselves, should i think about selling full "embroidery kits" that include the printed pattern sized for a display hoop and the thread needed? etc etc etc

Anyway that was all a lot of thinking and work to do, so i put it off!!! and uh here we are 2 years later and I have still not posted them anywhere. I really gotta get around to all that still...

But in the meanwhile, if anyone reading would like a pattern, just let me know directly what you're looking for and I can save the versions of the files as needed for your plans and send them over. like for a digital only version (so no threads or me printing for you) i would probably make a zip file with a transparent png of the design (so you can put it in a word doc to print at whatever size you desire), as well as a pdf with a few copies of it already pre-sized for a display hoop for ease of printing or transfer, the colored-in version i used based on the tarot cards, photos of my finished versions, etc (note to self i must remember to include the design both normal for direct printing and horizontally flipped for anyone who plans to use transfer paper for it since those are mirrored...). Oh and a quick explanation of how i managed to get my fabric through a standard printer if you wanna try that.

But yeah i'm happy to work out something with kofi or paypal or venmo and sell the digital ones for like $20 each or something for now, if you don't mind not having written step-by-step instructions accompanying the patterns and example photos. Or if anyone has suggestions on where to host them for sale, for someone not interested in maintaining a dedicated storefront like etsy or storenvy long term. Maybe Gumroad? If i stuck to digital-only sales something like that might work. I'm open to input for sure. If you want something more than digital like a pre-printed fabric (since it's kind of weird to do yourself), I'm still open to trying, it just would be a little more $ to account for the fabric/stabilizer and cost of shipping, and probably take me a few more days to do.

But regardless, thank you for your interest at all!! I'm so glad people have enjoyed my embroidery series :) While I'd love to make lots of copies to sell to whoever wants one, I simply don't have the time, and they are SO labor intensive to make it really is like 80-90% of the cost is manhours. I spend anywhere from 5-15 hours making the patterns and vectors, but the stitching and rest of it itself is easily the bulk at 40-100 hours depending on complexity and number of threads used. So WAY more feasible to sell the patterns than make more to sell myself, and then anyone willing to put in the time can have one too :)

i don't currently have anything in my kofi shop. i've been thinking about stuff that i could, eventually, put there for a small amount of money. input and ideas are super welcome! i'm unable to manufacture and ship anything out myself, so it would all be digital stuff.

firstly i thought about maybe uploading high resulotion files of my art for printing and framing at home. i could also (for the pieces where it's possible) size them correctly so they can be used as desktop or phone wallpapers.

i also thought about uploading coloring pages, blank lineart to color yourself for practice or for fun.

eventually i'd love to make a horse themed art zine (also digital, maybe for at home printing).

ehh let me know what you think :'D i really need to make some extra money and for the coming month or so i'll be so busy with moving that commissions would be very stressful to keep up with, and i also want people who support me through kofi to be able to get something out of it.

A Visionboard, what is it, what for ?

What is a visionboard ?

A visionboard is a set of pictures, images and phrases put together with an intention. They are mostly used in the manifestation community. Their goal is to inspire the maker into taking inspired actions towards their goals and realize their dreams.

Okay, but how does it work ?

Well, I'm guessing it depends on how much you want to believe in it. Realistically speaking, what could be the benefits ?

You know what you want

You are inspired to work, learn, explore and make decision in alignment with what you want

You are more open to opportinities

You are growing more okay with the idea of getting what you want, you have less self-esteem issues, you believe you are worth your dreams

What is the purpose of it ?

The goal is to growingly habituate your mind to see what you want to receive and achieve as possible. You see it as possible more, therefore you take inspired action more, you see new opportunities more, you start living in this world as the kind of person who would receive what you want to receive. You are inspired, you feel thankful, happy, you see the little good things and know how to enjoy them.

So, how exactly do you use it ?

Ah ! Well that is the most fun part.

Take some time for it. Don't rush it, make it a you moment. Set aside some time to make yourself feel good and let yourself dream about what you want. Light a candle, play some music, take a hot shower, whatever you like.

Choose your intention. Would you like to envision your life for the New Year ? The New or Full Moon ? A school year ? Just because ? Do you want to focus on your career, relationships or home life ?

Gather elements : quotes, pictures, tickets, screenshots... Choose intuitively and intentionally what each mean to you, and what they mean to each other in the all. Canva is a great tool for a digital one, or you can get magazines and do a crafty one by hand !

Make it present. Don't forget the file somewhere on your phone or computer, put it as a screen, print it and put it in your room, have a daily practice of looking at it while meditating, dancing, eating or listen to music. Build yourself a tiny little daily practice, so you can remember what is it you want that makes you happy, and you remind yourself of it when you need it.

Listen, don't spend all day on it. live your life and notice all the little things. The free coffee your friend got you, the sales percent from your favorite shop in your email, the person who complimented you. Notice how all the little good things in your life build up. What are you grateful for today ? What made you happy today ? What made you feel at peace ? What little thing can you also today to say thank you for the good things ? What can you do today to go towards the vision of the board ? How can the the you of today become close to the you on the board ? Enjoy the journey. Advice on Selling Digital Comics?📚

I am not saying I am doing comics now or anytime soon, more so I am looking into some options of doing so and would just like the information if I decided to try it when I can. Clip studio is really great for comic making on that front and I'd be really curious in exploring the features it gives.

A lot more under the cut, it's a long post but I'd really love if people looked it over and helped me out! Reblogs are much appreciated and thank you for those that share and help!😭💖✨

Some of my thoughts with it:

Pages will be a A4 comic page style in left to right reading format, no physicals/prints will be thought for and supported (as in I won't make physicals myself or allow selling from others, but I will be fine with private prints for yourself and friends. I just can't guarantee the comic will be up to printing standards!).

Comics would range in Fandom and Original on topics in SFW to NSFW (non-sexual and sexual), so it needs to be a place that allows all of that. I work around various stuff and like exploring topics in my works, I don't want to be stuck to a SFW or NSFW only side of things.

They would be coming out in full with a pdf and png formats, not a 'by chapter' release. Would be mostly a 1 shot or Dojin styled comics but who knows if I end up liking it a lot, I might do multi-chapters, etc.

I was thinking of prices ranging from 5$ to 30$ counting on the length and style of comic (monotone lower, color higher).

Would like being able to pay for the comics to have multiple available options (card, paypal, etc). This is low priority but preferred.

My first thought was Itchio, cause of the light page customization along with it. But before I am sold on using that I wanted to ask around for advice from others that maybe do it too?

Some sites I won't be using though; - Nothing Subscriber Based (patron and the likes) - Gumroad - Webtoon (not meant for that format)

Also how hard is it to post and maintain more than one place to buy for low energy people? I'd like to hear from other people how that goes (and how tasking it can be). Kofi and Etsy were on my mind, but more looking at Itchio right now. And of course I am open to looking at anything else people recommend!

On a last note, how would peps feel about buying high resolution of artworks like the idea of an artbook but just the png and gif files instead of a pdf? I was pondering the idea along with comics though not sure if I should even try posting old art now or wait for just this year and go forward from there. Also should I focus purely on fanart or all of it? I'd be find doing a package deal or something, just thought it'd be fun as well.

I would not include commissions, adopts/customs, and gift art of original characters ever. Only works with my characters in it or is fanart!
