Sorry I held off answering your ask for a while cuz i was so happy ya like my doodles but didn’t know how to respond…but now I have something

It started out as a doodle to loosen up from an assignment but it turned into a little self indulgent guide on how i usually draw these two…kinda silly hahaah!

i like to think that- in saving the phoenix at the end of KBOOM- roxana's hands suffered some pretty serious burns from willingly getting so close to the magma. i, too, have occasionally had a thought of prism and solaris meeting up, and those thoughts always eventually flow into solaris taking note of the scars and assuming that the phoenix caused them. which, admittedly, why should she imagine otherwise? when all she knows is the trail of fiery destruction they leave in their wake, and the familiarity of the burns on her own skin.

there's something there to me about solaris assuming she can have a kinship with another inventor, and prism... obviously having a slightly different take on the whole phoenix situation. both so similar and so different at the same time.

all this to say by the time you add john in there i think it would turn into public debate class💥

OUUH YES you reminded me that I Forgot to add that bullet point in the relationship thingy, but I didn't have enough space as it is...I'm very sure that their perspectives on Phoenix are a common cause of arguments between them, ranging from silly to maybe serious. All their lives changed by that one agent, in drastically different ways...

Solaris and Prism could probably still bond over a lot of things (inventing and all that Zoraxis Baggage:tm: maybe even fabby) but they're certainly stubborn about how they view Phoenix. Now I'm wondering if Prism could change Solaris's mind about them.. knowing her though it's better to not push it because I def think Solaris isn't the type to let go of grudges so easily.

Also I got inspired to do some doodles on the topic :thumbsup: Solaris's house is never gonna have a moment of peace for a long time *sitcom theme song plays. but bond style somehow*

Nine grew up under the Chaos Council’s dictatorship and he temporarily worked for The Chaos Council, who were constantly threatening and abusing him. They ended up starting the decaying, Mr Dr Eggman even smirked about it.

Later, when fighting against Nine, The Chaos Council made at least one threat or attack to everyone several times while Sonic was working with them. Nine actually pointed this out more than once and even reminded Sonic of their actions.

No wonder Nine rejected when Sonic tried telling him to give up the prism, join them and they will have chili dogs and again when he tried pleading later. He was probably afraid that The Chaos Council would try to do something awful, which They ended up doing. (Nine was also likely angry that Sonic appeared to be repeating his mistake of trusting the Chaos Council with shards. )

Too sleepy right now to analyze this further but yeah, CC was the catalyst every time something went wrong.

Sonic truly cares and meant well, Nine also meant well and did care. All the other variants, even though they don't really like or trust Nine, still had good intentions.

The Chaos Council? I can bet they're the ones who manipulated everyone into invading Grim when Sonic was already there and had managed to get through to Nine.

Others had the capacity to honor a deal (because they did in the very end) but CC have always wanted the prism and the power and world domination, they would've used the protectiveness and concern of Sonic's Shatterverse friends to get to the prism.

15. sun, moon, stars, earth, or eclipse? Prism is the earth who wishes to be a star, I think. Aiming too far too soon, emotions clouding her judgement that she could be brilliant (already brilliant) with what she has. Also, out of all the characters in IEYTD I really do think she's the most grounded. Still a bit eccentric and silly mind you, but like. She's mostly reasonable. Which is hard to say for the rest of the cast.

Phoenix is the moon. Kind of a wild little guy out in space. Prism may be a little jealous from her perspective, being closer to the stars and all--but Phoenix orbits her day and night man. Depending on what theory you subscribe to, the earth did contribute to the creation to the moon, so there's something there I think.

22. their own little way (or ways) to say ‘i love you’. I already talked about Prism's little ways in this one, and it's kind of the same if she's with Phoenix methinks! Summarized version is she's verbally affectionate and supportive, and she loves spending quality time with them. Phoenix isn't exempt from receiving little custom-made trinkets from her with all the scrap recycling she does. Obviously Phoenix LOVES those little things.

Phoenix is a very affectionate person. They like to hold and hug Prism, and at some point it becomes something of a habit. It's also usually their touch that gets Prism out of her work mode. They use it a lot to convince Prism to take a break and attend to her needs, dammit!!!! Phoenix really likes this role though, they get to take care of one of their favorite people in the world :] They enjoy spending time with her too, either helping her or just listening to her ramble about her stuff. Phoenix loves supporting her through her down times, when Prism's doubting herself (though sometimes it gets a little chaotic without a voice of reason between the two of them...) Most of all though, Phoenix loves Prism's creations and treats them with utmost respect, Especially the bobots. Loves them because they know they're part of her. Supplementary reading: this other post because there's a bunch of overlap there too :3

This flag is meant as an umbrella flag for all dissociative systems! Also self diagnosis is real and valid. Not everybody has the resources and privileges to get diagnosed, don't be too hard on yourself about it 👍

i made a xenogender for an alter because the only one that was kinda close was a pro endo (and very gross abt it too...) and hes really haply with it!!

same alter also said hes gonna help us take care of our damn hair finally (we are sooo bad at taking care of ourselves so def appreciate the help lol

Xenogenders for the win!! We as a collective don’t use them but we have a few alters here and there that do! We’ve even made a few up though I won’t share for privacy reasons at this moment. So glad he has an awesome gender for him that he feels comfortable using!!

I think Mangey, Nine, Sails and Tails really are supposed to be different ages. Foxes shed their fur at least once a year and each of the foxes has a different amount of fur on their face.

Nine has 6 furs, Sails + Tails both have 8 and Mangey has 10. (Similar to how Classic Tails sometimes appeared in his earlier appearances.)

I agree with them being different ages (barely, not much difference, but yes). And foxes do shed their fur. But isn't that due to change of seasons and not an indicator of age? I looked it up and there's nothing about thickness or amount of coat indicating how old or young a fox. The coloring growing darker at tips of the ears and tails may be plausible indicators for certain species yeah but not the coat's thickness.

Also, I believe Mangey has more strands because his entire coat is scruffy due to not brushing it and Nine has less because his coat isn't as healthy due to New Yoke's environment and all.

Anyways, that technicality aside, I do believe Nine is the oldest, then Tails, followed by Sails and Mangey is the youngest, all of this based on their individual personalities and behaviors and maturity levels and the light color fan theory which implies that New Yoke came into existence first bcoz red light is fastest, technically making Nine the oldest of his fellow Shatterverse variants.
