hey wip, any shot we could get more post privacy options? currently both visibility and interactability are all or nothing and I would love to have more control over it.

some examples: unlisted (doesnt show up in feeds or search), followers only, mutuals only, mentioned users only.

tumblr is pretty good with granular privacy options and self moderation tools but this would go a long way

Good question. It can be said for sure that we do want to take a pass at all of our privacy options across blogs, posts, and now Communities, but it’s some way away yet, unfortunately.

Very few people use these options, in the scheme of things. While that doesn’t mean they’re unimportant, they can be very confusing. We want not just to employ some new options but also redesign and rethink the existing ones more holistically. All of that will take time, bandwidth, and resources—and we just haven’t had time for it yet.

We appreciate the question and hope to tackle this before too long, however. You can find any news here or at @changes.

what's the "unexpected thing that threw off the last looks filming schedule"? do we know what that is

i think tamar said in an interview that they ?added a sixteenth episode at the last minute?? and as a result, the schedule was disrupted and they had to film "last looks" a couple weeks/months after wrapping on the show, rather than directly afterwards? this is probably not suspicious and/or i misunderstood something but . unfortunately after watching the vip crew gaslight people in the makeup chair i'm incapable of trusting anything they say Ever. i believe that the filming schedule was disrupted, but the rationale ("adding an episode last minute") reads to me as ,, potentially odd? maybe ??

please no one read into this too much and start making up conspiracy theories, that's a road to disappointment <3 this is just one of those things that i can't quite shake from my mind as we're coming up on the end

This is not a bad idea! We have several thoughts here.

On the one hand, if this was an easy thing to put together, and it might just be, we would like to do this just for feature parity. On the other hand, it is not clear how often this would be used. So we would be hesitant to commit to it while resources are stretched a little thin.

The problem we also have is just the sheer number of buttons there are in the toolbar. It might not fit to have even more.

That said, we will take a look into this when we get the time, so stay tuned on this one. Thanks for your question, and have a good day!
