At the moment I’m currently in class and I have the worst gas. This is kinda regular with me tbh like when I have early classes and stuff I tend to have more gas than normal and it’s awful. oh my gosh, for sure. like illyrian’s definitely have special furniture accustomed to their wings and it’s so much larger than regular stuff. no matter what size you are, they look like giant household items compared to you and he just likes it’s so fucking cute. his arm chair basically towers over you, and on the occasion that he’s not home and you decide to slump in his chair bc you miss him, it’s such an adjustment bc you’re not used to having so much room. it’s super comfy but kind of awkward because it has certain cut outs in the back for illyrian wings, but you look so miniature inside of it, his hearts melts when he comes home after a long day and sees his princess looking so tiny napping in his oversized chair <3

the beds are huge, both wide and long because illyrians are typically freakishly tall with long ass limbs, plus the wings need to be stretched out when they sleep so the width is pretty important. but, there is always enough room for you to curl up under his wing, and snuggle into his chest. there is also enough room for you both to scoot to different sides of the bed comfortably after a fight, but those never last bc by three am, his shadows are annoyed with their master’s stubborn behavior and begin to lecture him to cuddle up to you. the sex varies in many positions too… just saying.

omg the sofas are literally like the size of a full size mattress. there is so much room, and azriel always has his wing curled around you when you’re both chilling on the couch. it makes for good fucking too, there is so much space to move, it’s perfect and probably your second favorite place to fuck.

giving proper thought to the timeskip in inuyasha (part 1/2)

I've been thinking a lot about the three years Inuyasha and Kagome were apart, bc as you know... three years is a LONG time. The person I was three years ago is different from the person I am now. So I remember thinking it felt too fast to process (both anime and manga), bc the timeskip was sorta sped through in like a chapter/10 mins lol

How were Kagome and Inuyasha feeling during those three years? After being with each other practically 24/7, fighting a literal war, saving each other's lives, falling in love, Kagome almost trapped in the jewel... just to be wrenched apart at the end with no time to say goodbye. Jeez, that's practically trauma fuel.

There was no way Kagome didn't want to see Inuyasha again. So why did it take three years for the Well open for her?

Kagome said when she returned, her purpose in the Sengoku era, to destroy the jewel, was done.

There is no reason to go back now. Well is closed. Bye Inuyasha.

Three years. Three years is enough time to be sad, to heal, and to think. I can imagine Kagome being a little down sometimes and her family noticing that. From how much she loved Inuyasha, I don't think Kagome could hide that she misses that doggie boi on the other side of the well. Because her family cares so much for her, I'm sure it didn't make them happy to see her sad.

However, it seemed pretty convincing that she couldn't go back. So it probably felt like a helpless situation to all of them.

Now, that doesn't explain why the well suddenly opened for Kagome one day. After all, it seemed like Kagome just willed the well to open... and there had to have been a time where she wanted to see Inuyasha, right? So why couldn't it open before?

I could just chalk it off as "the Well wanting Kagome to meet the legal age to marry Inuyasha" lol. That's valid enough I guess.

But, I want to bulk that justification up a little more... so here's what I think:

The Well was testing Kagome's desire to see Inuyasha again. Her job to destroy the Jewel is done, so it sealed itself up real good, forcing Kagome to focus on her life back home, go to school, meet new people, and weigh all her options for her future. If she STILL wants to see Inuyasha after all of that, then she will have proven herself to the Well that her desire to see him and go back to that era is genuine, not just some whim of the wind. (The Well isn't some plaything.)

In the meantime, the Well is adamant. Until then, it is sealed. I'm sure Kagome visited it many times, wishing to see Inuyasha. But she knows very well by her third year that the Well does not work.

When I think about it, after high school is when Kagome's life truly starts. That is when she gets to decide for the first time, for herself, what she might want to do with her life going forward.

To prepare for that, Kagome gets to weigh her options in high school about her future. In Japan, I think 1st-2nd year is when they start "university planning" called 進路希望調査 (shinro kibou chousa). 3rd year is when they take entrance exams. The closer she creeps to graduation, the more she is forced to think about her future.

That future without Inuyasha. Can she live in it?

When she graduates, she faces herself head on. "Look, I have to live in this world without Inuyasha. The well is BROKEN af. This is it." But she realizes, even still... EVEN STILL... gosh she just wants to see Inuyasha again. :(

In that moment, she proved herself to the Well. Kagome thought about this for three darn years. She went to school, stayed with friends and family, and she knows her options. Yet, her feelings for Inuyasha did not waver. She STILL wants to see him, thus proving that her desire is not superficial.

So finally, the Well's like, "Alright, I hear you now hunny. I'll open the portal."

When the Sengoku era sky appears in the Well, Kagome looks at it with such yearning eyes, her voice wavering with such longing... Her mom finds her, and knowing Mama, she probably has had a hunch all along that Kagome's happiness is not here in the modern era.

So in a true act of love, Mama lets her go.

Thinking about Kagome's family always makes my heart break, seriously. Though, the timeskip feels sudden to me as a reader/watcher, but three years is still quite a bit of time. Out of all the Krelboynes, Cynthia was probably the most likely to make friends with a ‘normal’ kid. Sure, she had her quirks. But she was kind and had other things to talk about besides incredibly niche topics that only other Krelboynes would know about. Plus, she wasn’t anti-social and condescending like Malcolm, who was the only other Krelboyne that was close to normal. At least, according to him.

So, no one was surprised when Cynthia started bringing you around, as you had quickly become friends. Although they were more mature than when they had first met Cynthia, they still geeked out a bit hard when they saw another girl sitting at their lunch table.

“Sorry about them.” Malcolm leaned over to you to say after Dabney and Lloyd asked you what your favorite triangle was, which then turned into an argument between the two because one said scalene while the other said equilateral. “I’d say they aren’t usually like this, but… who am I kidding? They’re like this all the time.”

“It’s alright.” You said. “Everyone has something to be passionate about. For Dabney and Lloyd, it’s… shapes.” Malcolm laughed, not used to someone taking his side when it came to his classmates’ nerdy behavior. 

He scooted a bit closer to you, trying to stay casual. “So, what are you passionate about?” 

“I dunno.” You shrugged, giving him a small smile. “I guess just regular stuff. Books, movies, whatever. Oh! Speaking of movies, I’m going to the theater later today. Would you wanna come?”

“Sure!” Malcolm responded eagerly. This interaction was going better than he thought it could. 

“Awesome! We’re going at 4.”

“Wait… we?”

You nodded. “Yeah! We’re taking Cynthia’s car.” You suddenly turned your head to your right, where Cynthia was already looking at you after hearing her name. “Oh my gosh, I forgot to ask you, Thia. Is it okay if Malcolm comes with us to the movies?”

“Of course!” Cynthia smiled brightly at you, looking past to Malcolm for a moment. “The more the merrier!”

That’s how Malcolm ended up in a theater watching Sky High with you, Cynthia, and some of the other Krelboynes. On the way over, he was squished in the back with the rest of the boys while you and Cynthia sat up front, singing along to the radio. Malcolm felt a bit jealous, but quickly pushed it aside. You and Cynthia were just friends.

Malcolm blindly reached for some popcorn, coming out of his daze when his hand bumped into yours. You gave each other a small smile before taking your hands out of the tub. 

You and Cynthia started giggling when the long-haired bad boy appeared on screen. Malcolm glanced over to see the two of you leaning close and whispering to each other. Occasionally, Cynthia would take a piece of popcorn from your hand and pop it in her mouth. He started to grumble, slouching down in his seat. On one side, his friends were rambling to each other about the sidekicks and their powers. The other, a cute girl was giving her best friend all her attention.

Malcolm didn’t find some peace until after the movie. Cynthia had already taken Dabney, Lloyd, and Stevie home. So now, it was just her, you, and Malcolm in the back.

“That movie was so fun!” You said from the passenger seat. “And Warren?”

“Don’t get me started.” Cynthia sighed. “Layla totally should’ve picked him over Will.”

“I know, right?” You turned around to look at Malcolm. “What do you think, Malcolm?”

He was honestly a bit surprised that you were talking to him. For most of the ride, you and Cynthia had talked amongst yourselves. “Oh, yeah… Totally.”

“We’re here,” Cynthia announced, sounding a bit bummed as she pulled up to your house.

“Oh! Well, it was awesome spending time with you, Malcolm.” You said, giving him a big smile. “We gotta do this again!”

“Yeah! Totally!” Maybe this night hadn’t been a total waste.

You turned to Cynthia, who was already facing you. “And I’ll see you tomorrow, Thia.”

“I’ll be here, baby.” Before Malcolm could question the nickname Cynthia had given you, he watched as Cynthia cupped your cheek and kissed you. It was a deep kiss for a few seconds before you pulled away, but Cynthia still gave you a few extra pecks until she was satisfied with you leaving the car.

You waved to her and a shocked Malcolm before getting out. Malcolm slowly climbed up to the passenger seat, waiting until you were in the house to speak because Cynthia watched you until the front door shut.

“So…” He started as Cynthia pulled back onto the road. “Y/n is… your…”

“Girlfriend,” Cynthia answered, smiling brightly at the thought of you. “I’m so glad you like her, Malcolm! Isn’t she great?”

“Yeah.” Malcolm scratched his head, disappointed but not surprised by this reveal. “She’s awesome.”

1. Which part of the series was your introduction to HTTYD? How old were you when you first became a fan?

i rmr it pretty well. i was abt 11 years old & my mom found the first movie on comcast on demand & wanted to find a movie for us we (my siblings & i) hadn't seen so she chose it. i rmr the year prior with all the commercials on tv & stuff & was like hey!! i rmr wanting to see this! cool!! and i rlly liked the movie!!!!! my full obsession, however, didn't start until abt a year later when she brought home this pack of the first 6 books (that's all that was available at the time!) & reading through them i rewatched the movie & we had it on dvd by that point and that was it. the rest is history

5. What type of dragon do you think best matches your personality?

oh gosh. the impulse to say my fave but whispering deaths don't rlly "match" me personality wise. tbh a gronckle, me thinks. with a personality like meatlug or shattermaster. :') they're such goofy goobers but they're also rlly sweet & i am so soft for that LOL. they remind me of the dog i grew up with with how snorty they are & the way they wag their tails :'))

IDK their chemistry is just??? i love how they constantly bicker & snotlout is just a piece of shit & it causes astrid to retaliate & treat him like that even when he's not actively being a piece of shit which pisses him off & yet they always somehow end up by each other or saving each other much to astrid's chagrin half the time & then snotlout's confusion UGH ESP SNOTLOUT'S ANGELS the nose flick & then astrid admitting she doesn't hate him & his FACE HIS FUCKING FACE he's so got a genuine crush on her but doesn't know how to Behave & i love them getting together & then breaking up & for astrid it's smth she looks back on fondly but never wants to go back to while snotlout is stuck adding her to his list of ppl being the one that got away & yearning..... they're also so funny together & i feel like if they're ever on the same page they're so powerful & it's scary LOL

either uncharted (bc it basically was a prequel fic to SVU ROTPS (back door pilot to Organized Crime) OR Purgatory (which basically was EO stuck together in hiding but it’s just them *not talking* featuring an unused shotgun).

Idk I try to end my fics on a happy note bc that’s just the type of person I am.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

THIS IS HARD — like I said, I really try to end on a positive note because I love to wrap things up in a cutesy little bow but maybe geocache or bankers box since those are coming home stories.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I did once, but I’ve since learned the art of comment moderation 🫡

I’m inclined to say no, but that would be a lie. I did in like 1 AU pilots fic. People said they liked it (maybe?) but I also am super uncomfortable writing it. It was a nice challenge to write it and to get out of my comfort zone.

SVU/OC live in the same universe, so while technically a crossover, I’m not going to count it here.

hey giselle’s ears are pierced!!!!!!!!!! when and how do you think that happened. ALSO. morgan? i am going to make the assumption that they’re not pierced when she’s 6 and pierced when she’s 16. but obviously correct me if canon says otherwise. but when do you think THAT occurred !!! and what were her and giselle and (especially) robert’s thoughts. also what about baby sofia?? people be piercing their babies’ ears!!! anyway this is the earring post. go buck wild

ohhhhhh my gosh okay so this question actually motivated me to write a lil something with Robert, Morgan, and Giselle, so thank you !!!! I will do that soon, but for nooooow

Giselle definitely pierced her own ears with a sewing needle when she was, like, ten. She saw a few women in the village one of the times she snuck over, and noticed they all had fancy earrings, and it piqued her curiosity. She decided to return home, and make her own earrings, as well as make the hole in her ears. Pip was against it, saying it would hurt, but Giselle shrugged him off. It did, in fact, hurt (Pip kept shouting "told ya so!!") but she survived, and did not deal with any infections ! She gets into the habit of making earrings on a regular basis, and has a lot of fun with it.

For Morgan, she has one piercing on one ear, and three on the other! Gonna just. post a pic cause it'll be easier than me trying to explain it 🙈

I think she got her first piercing when she was eleven, and I don't think Robert hated the idea. the only issue he had was when Giselle said she'd pierce them herself. He was definitely against that (which is what my lil fic will be about 🤭)

Her second, and third, piercings happened when she was around fourteen. Her best friend had gone to get more piercings, so Morgan wanted to get more too, and Giselle was happy to take her.

Now, for my other headcanon, I could've swore this actress had an industrial piercing, but when I was looking just now... there is no bar in sight. I feel a bit insane because I really thought she had one, and I typed up a whole little fic in my head... tragic. Anyway, Morgan is getting one now !! I'm making it canon.

I think her and her friend (her name is Anna btw, forgot to mention that above) wanted to get matching bars, so Morgan asked Giselle, and she was, of course, more than happy, and booked an appointment ahead of time. Later, Robert saw it marked on the calendar and was like "..? she already has, like, four piercings, how much room could she possibly have left on her ear??" and then Giselle showed him what she wanted, he wasn't. Super thrilled about it. She was too young in his opinion (16) and that's a pretty Big piercing. There was a little back and forth between them, and Morgan, who heard the arguing, but eventually, Robert gave in. But he did say no more until she's 18, which was fine with Morgan bc she didn't want anything else (yet 😏)

As for Sofia, I don't think they pierced her ears. I think the idea would probably give Robert a heart attack (even though he knows other people do it), and I don't think Giselle would have even considered it a possibility. They just let her decide when she's older.

She loved it because she got to dress up in pretty costumes and go to different houses and ask people for candy

Chen Yuzhi wasn’t particularly fond of Halloween for no other reason than it was far too late for a young child to be staying out

Jiang Yuelou, on the other hand, wasn’t particularly fond of the holiday because so many more criminals were out in “disguises” that it made it difficult for him and his officers to identify and catch them

However, both Chen Yuzhi and Jiang Yuelou had to put their dislike for the holiday on the backburner because Keying declared that she wanted both of them to accompany her while she went trick-or-treating

“Both of us?”

Keying nodded before she looked at Jiang Yuelou

“You don’t have to work, do you gege?”

Jiang Yuelou opened his mouth to say that yes, he did, as he was the police commissioner and on a night like this, he couldn’t just slack off but as he looked into her big, brown eyes, he found that he couldn’t say “yes”

“No…I don’t”

Keying grinned and clapped her hands delightedly as Chen Yuzhi looked over at him and smirked

“Nice save”

Jiang Yuelou shot him a look

“Hush”

Chen Yuzhi chuckled before he looked back at Keying

“What are you going to dress up as, A-Ying?”

“A princess!”

Chen Yuzhi hummed and nodded

“A fine choice”

Keying then tilted her head as she looked at him

“What are you going to dress up as, gege?”

Chen Yuzhi’s eyes widened

“Me?  I was just planning on going as a doctor…”

Keying shook her head

“That’s boring”

Jiang Yuelou nodded in agreement

“That is boring, Yuzhi”

Chen Yuzhi turned to glare at him

“Oh hush. You were just going to go as a police officer, weren’t you?”

Jiang Yuelou’s eyes widened in shock at being discovered, causing Chen Yuzhi to humph

“See?  Who’s boring now?”

Jiang Yuelou clicked his tongue as he looked at Keying

“What do you think we should go as, Keying?”

Keying smiled

“Princes!”

Jiang Yuelou and Chen Yuzhi looked at her in surprise before they looked at each other

“Do you have a suit that nice?”

Jiang Yuelou shrugged

“Probably? If not, I’ll use my uniform”

Chen Yuzhi hummed before he looked at Keying and smiled

“Let’s get you all dolled up, hmm?”

Keying nodded and took his hand as Jiang Yuelou looked at them

“I’ll head back home and change.  I’ll meet you outside”

Chen Yuzhi and Keying turned to look at him before they nodded as Keying looked him in the eyes

“Remember, gege! Prince!”

Jiang Yuelou laughed and nodded

“I know, I know”

He then turned and headed out of the house and headed back to his house to get changed

A little while later, Jiang Yuelou stood outside of Chen Yuzhi’s gate wearing his military uniform and a long black cloak, since it was something that a modern prince tended to wear

He then reached out to knock on the gate when it suddenly opened and Chen Yuzhi stepped out, dressed in an all-white three-piece suit with a long white coat with gold embroidery, a sword strapped to his hip

“I thought Keying told you to dress up”

Jiang Yuelou huffed

“I am.  I’m dressed like a modern prince.  All modern princes have a military outfit like this”

Chen Yuzhi hummed, just as Keying stepped out of the gate, dressed in a frilly pink dress with a little tiara on her head

“Do I look like a princess, gege?”

Jiang Yuelou looked over at her and smiled fondly before he bowed low

“Your Highness”

Keying giggled before she stepped forward and held up a fake plastic gold crown

“Here!  For you”

Jiang Yuelou hummed and reached out, taking the fake gold crown before he placed it on his head, raising an eyebrow at Keying

“Good?”

Keying nodded

“Yeah!”

She then took his hand and Chen Yuzhi’s hand before she began to drag them along

“Come on!  It’s time to go trick-or-treating”

They then began walking down the streets of Jing City, Jiang Yuelou and Chen Yuzhi looking around to see other families out and about, everyone dressed up

As they walked and stopped at different shops or different houses, Jiang Yuelou looked over at Chen Yuzhi and raised an eyebrow

“You own a sword?”

Chen Yuzhi smiled

“It’s my katana”

Jiang Yuelou hummed

“I see”

He then looked Chen Yuzhi up and down before he smiled

“You really do look like a prince, Yuzhi”

Chen Yuzhi blushed

“Do I?  I feel a little overdressed”

Jiang Yuelou laughed before he reached out and took his hand

“You look perfect”

Chen Yuzhi smiled

“Thank you”

Later that evening, when they got home, they headed inside and sat on the couch, Chen Yuzhi looking over at Keying

“Alright Keying.  You can pick a few candies to eat before you go to bed”

Jiang Yuelou frowned

“A few?”

Chen Yuzhi nodded

“If she eats all of it, she’ll get sick”

Jiang Yuelou huffed

“What’s the point of getting all of this candy if she can only eat a few pieces?”

Chen Yuzhi clicked his tongue

“Jiang Yuelou, I don’t want Keying to get a stomachache and then be sick in the morning”

Jiang Yuelou made a face and while he and Chen Yuzhi were bickering, neither of them realized that Keying had somehow managed to slip past both of them with her bucket and headed to her bedroom to eat her candies

Soon, Chen Yuzhi and Jiang Yuelou realized that Keying had snuck off, causing both of them to look at each other before they both laughed fondly, shaking their heads

They then snuggled on their couch, both still in their costumes, before Chen Yuzhi hummed and leaned his head on Jiang Yuelou’s shoulder

“Tonight…wasn’t actually so bad”

Jiang Yuelou hummed

“It really wasn’t.  I’m glad Keying had fun”

Chen Yuzhi looked up at him

“Did you have fun too?”

Jiang Yuelou smiled

“I got to spend time with my family.  Of course I had fun”

Chen Yuzhi smiled and snuggled against him, nodding

“Good”

Later that evening, after snuggling on the couch for a while, Jiang Yuelou and Chen Yuzhi headed to Keying’s bedroom to check on her, only to find her passed out on her bed, candy wrappers strewn everywhere and chocolate all over her mouth

Jiang Yuelou and Chen Yuzhi stared at her in surprise before they both chuckled fondly and stepped forward, Jiang Yuelou cleaning up the mess of wrappers while Chen Yuzhi cleaned Keying’s face with a warm towel before taking down her hair and taking off her tiara (if she woke up later, he would help her take off her costume before for now, he would let her sleep)

They both then tucked Keying in for the evening, making sure to take her candy to put away for later, before they turned and headed out of her room so that she could sleep and that they could change

After they changed, they quickly made some warm tea and headed back over to the couch to enjoy the rest of the Halloween evening…as well as some candy that they may or may not have taken from Keying’s bucket

But it was okay.  She had plenty.  She wouldn’t miss a few pieces
