He’s on the ladder handing down the books while you set them on the table

On the last set of books Simeon loses his balance

He manages to catch himself before fully landing on you but the book he was holding hits you square in the face

He sits up, looking away but you can see his cheeks are RED

He helps you back to your feet

While you guys continue to study after, you can’t help but notice how he looks at you and how he blushes when he looks away

As his apprentice, helping him with his experiments and potions is a regular thing for you too

So when he asked you to come over and help him with his latest potion, you agreed

Everything was going according to his plan, this was gonna turn out amazing!

They were just about done, all of the sleepless nights of working on this project will finally be completed

“MC, could you put the contents of that container into the cauldron?” He says across the room, checking his spellbook

Unbeknownst to the two of you, Solomon mislabeled the contents of that certain ingredient in his tireless haze to finish the potion

That mistake had big consequences, as soon as you added some of it, the contents of the cauldron exploded, sending the scalding potion to burn your hand hovering over the pot

He was quick enough to send a protection spell so the potion didn’t spray over your entire body, but not quick enough to keep you fully unharmed

He quickly ran to you, inspecting your hand with gentle hands looking completely baffled at what just happened as were you

When he realizes his mistake he’s incredibly sorrowful. His own negligence caused his favorite person to get harmed

“I’m so sorry MC, my poor judgment caused you so much pain. I hope you can forgive me.”

Luckily, being the worlds greatest sorcerer came with his perks. Before the pain can set in too bad, he chants a spell until your hand returns back to its normal state before the incident

Afterwards, your in charge of reading the spell book while he deals with the potion. At least if he messes up again you won’t be hurt.

Definitely try’s to cheer you up by teaching you some spells you’ve been wanting to learn

“All right my little apprentice, since you’ve been good how about I teach you that illusion spell you’ve been so excited about huh?”

I mayyy have been drinking when I first made this and forgot to add Solomon. But here he is! In my defense my phone froze and deleted most of this before I could upload and I had to rewrite everything. So sorry but he’s here now!

I decided to make this post cause i too dont have alot of friends and decided to astro analyse

Here are some placements that indicate not having alot of friends, having a tough time making friends, feeling left out or sticking out in groups, not being able to stay in groups in general.

[Saturn restricts and creates a lack in the area it occupies. It also tends to create a harsher environment which may mean that you may sometimes feel as jf the peoplw around you dont show much care or concern towards you in comparison to others. You may also constantly feel as if you have to work harder to win them over or to be recognised.]

-check your 10th house ruler to see how focused you’ll be in career/work. when I had jupiter opposite mc I was more focused on my school work than my job. Jupiter ruled my 10th house!

-pluto in the 12th house is so hard for me to explain, but you’ll experience huge events that change your psyche 😭 I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to do shadow work. check the aspects pluto makes as well.

-pluto square moon can mean having to control your emotions throughout the year.

-pluto square mars is very much controlling your anger and reactions towards situations.

-pluto is literally all about control, but with pluto in the 12th house I noticed that releasing the need to be in control is the lesson here. (I hope I’m making sense lmao)

-scorpio 9th house made me so driven in college and I also had scorpio moon on the cusp, this made it more personal to me throughout the year.

-I always talk about Saturn in the 1st house when it comes to solar return, but this placement builds so much discipline it crazy. this placement also leads you to loose weight, and the way you loose weight can be cause of being too busy/stress.

an example is that I stopped going to the gym for a while because I was so busy with work and school😔😔, I lost muscle which counts as weight In this case.

I finally published the project for my dice roll scarf that went viral last month. If you love dice games, you'll enjoy knitting this pattern.

The color work in this project is determined by an algorithm, a set of rules that determine the final outcome. There isn't an exact set of instructions for this project. Instead, the knitter uses four 10-sided dice or a random number generator to pick the length of the colorwork in each row. 

The result is a staggered stripe sequence along the edge of the shawl. There are trillions of unique outcomes, so no two projects turn out exactly alike. The pattern uses about 500 yards of yarn in total, but the amount of each color that you'll need is randomly determined. Before publishing, I wanted to find out the minimum and maximum amount of each color required to make the project and the probability of each outcome.

The knowledge needed to calculate the yardage was a bit beyond my skill level, but my friend Mary W. Martin helped me gather this info. I used an online probability calculator to find out the probability of each unique stitch count. The results are slightly different depending on whether you use four 10-sided dice (blue) or pick a random number (yellow), but 99% of all possible results fall within a very small range. 

It was an interesting little tangent, but not hugely important to the actual knitting pattern. I can, however, confidently say there is a >99.9% chance that you'll need a 2nd skein of the main color. If you want to know more about the math, you should check out my project notes on Ravelry. 

The thick and thin striped colorwork is created with a super simple "long stitch" technique. The pattern looks great in fluffy mohair or contrasting colors of basic wool and the instructions include some basic tips for substituting yarns or changing the gauge.

Finished Size: 18 x 68” (46 x 172 cm) rectangular wrap.

Yarn: Approx. 315 yards (288 m) of MC and approx. 264 yards (241 m) of CC. Yardage may vary, see notes on yardage below and yardage chart in photos.

• Main Color (2 skeins) - JMR Studio Worsted Weight Mohair, 245 yards (225 m) per 4 oz; 78% Mohair, 13% Wool, 9% Nylon.

• Contrast Color (1 skein each, both yarns held together) - JMR Studio Fingering Weight Mohair, 320 yards (293 m) per 100g; 63% Silk, 23% Kid Mohair, 11% Nylon, 3% Polyester Held with Lavender Lune Yarn Co. Suri Alpaca, 328 yards (300 m) per 50g; 74% Suri Alpaca, 26% Silk.

Yardage: The amount of each color used for this pattern fluctuates based on the random numbers used to determine the stitch pattern. MC uses approx. 233 to 315 yards (213 to 288m) and CC uses approx. 182 to 264 yards (166 to 241m). 99% of possible results fall within a much smaller range. The Yardage Chart shows the distribution of all potential yardage outcomes.

Needles: Size 8 (5 mm) straight needles, or size needed to obtain gauge. NOTE: Straight needles work best with long stitches. Circular needles with a thin cord allow the long stitches to tighten and stretch, making them harder to manipulate.

Gauge: 12 sts x 14 rows = 4 x 4” (10 x 10 cm) square in pattern.

Other Materials: 10 sided die or random number generator, stitch marker, scale, tapestry needle.

Generating numbers: In my sample, I used four ten-sided dice (D10) to choose a number between 4 and 40 sts. If you don't have dice, you can use an online app like RANDOM.org to generate your numbers. If you follow this link, you'll get a list of 63 integers between 4 and 40. NOTE: Each time you visit the link or refresh the page, the list changes. You can also just choose numbers as you knit.

I wrote this how it came (which was messy and jumpy) cause this particular brand of snowcrow x reader has been on my head for a while and I needed to get it out. 7293 words in three days is fucking crazy y'all, I might've been possessed.

Part 1

Say you're in college– I know, I know, it's horrible. You're struggling, drowning in papers and projects and assignments.

It's been the most stressful fucking week of your life– not really, you've had a lot of stressful weeks, and there's more to come, but you know you'll get through this one just like you got through the others; with sheer will and determination– so, it's no wonder that you bump (more like slam) into them while on your way to class.

"Shit– I'm so sorry!" You say, instantly bending down to help with his things.

"It's alright," you barely hear him as you scramble to grab the discarded papers and carefully put them together.

"You'll have to go through the trouble of organizing these again, I'm sorry." You apologize again when both of you stand up, handing back his things.

The way you still your movements when you finally look at him is borderline cartoonic; breath held back, jaw fallen open. You're stunned in place, completely leaving behind your embarrassment and your hurry to get to a class you're late to.

Hazel eyes stare back at you from behind glass lenses, and noticing the squared rim makes you pay attention to the rest of his face. The man is gorgeous, beautiful, handsome, pretty, all of them at once and more. It takes the breath from your lungs.

"Holy shit, you're fucking beautiful." The words leave your mouth before you can even process the thought, and you feel your face light up in flames. You hear someone snicker beside him and you turn your head to find another handsome man watching. His features are just as sticking, red eyes and white hair; both of them look like statues that came to life.

"Two handsome best friends? Is today my lucky day?" You look at the time and mutter out another curse before looking at both of them. "I gotta dip, I'm late to class," you start walking away, "Sorry for that again, see you around pretty boy." You wave goodbye looking back one last time before running away. You smile when you catch a glimpse of his reddening ears, feeling a bit giddy as you make your way to class. You're not even sure you'll get to see them again; they could be visiting, for all that you know, but this was nice.

. . . . .

You meet him again at the library.

The way you perk up is instant, smiling and raising a hand to wave at him before going back to your studies. Ruby eyes isn't with him this time, you note, but you make no move to start a conversation over that.

You catch glimpses of them here and there, and when you finally point them out to a friend, you learn that where one goes, the other follows.

"You slammed into Zayne?!!" Tanya whisper-shouts, bringing you closer as if you were in the most dire of situations.

"How do you know his name?" You whisper-shout back.

"Dude, they're, like, the fucking best students here."

"And? You know I don't pay enough attention to those things, I got too much shit in my head."

Tanya huffs, "Their names are Zayne and Sylus," she pulls you along, linking your arms together, "no one knows what Sylus majors in, but Zayne's majoring in cardiology.”

"Ah, ‘pretty doctor’ then." She side eyes you.

"I should've known when you said 'ruby eyes' there's no one else here with that eye color." She mutters before carrying along.

"Fucking hell, what are you made of? Bricks?!"

You ask as you rub your forehead, looking up to find– what was his name again? It started with a T, or was it an S? You know it ended in 'lus' because it reminded you of the words 'luz' and 'lux' both which mean 'light' in their respective languages– Ruby eyes, you've slammed into ruby eyes this time. This impact is a lot more disorienting than last time, though, so much that he had reached out to stabilize you before you fell to the ground.

"Are you alright?" The pretty doctor asks– fuckity fucking fuck, you had forgotten how his voice sounded, all nice and deep, even while tinged with worry– and you nod several times.

"Running late again?" You hear ruby eyes’ voice for the first time– okay, what the fuck? They're not just two handsome best friends, but also two handsome, deep voiced best friends?– the amusement is clear in the rumble of it.

You sigh wistfully, "Yeah." you whisper out a "Thanks" when he lets you go and take a step back, "and sorry. We have to stop meeting like this, I'll probably get a concussion or something. Anyways, see ya guys." You run away again, waving goodbye without looking back.

Sylus is the only one to wave goodbye, but he's not the only one to stare at your retreating form.

They share a look after you're completely out of sight. A very charged look.

You end up sharing one of your classes with him, and it's just your luck that the only empty seat is right next to yours.

"Didn't expect to see you so soon, ruby eyes." You smile as he approaches.

"Little track star, what a surprise; you're not running late to class." He sits beside you with a flourish, a smirk pulling at his lips.

"Haha, very funny, brick man." you poke at his arm, a faux frown on your face, "I'll have you know, it's only that one. Try having a class on the other side of campus in the middle of the day and not run late when you're making your way back.”

He chuckles in amusement and you don't get to talk any longer because the professor walks in and class starts. You feel him stare at you through it. You tried shrugging it off as your imagination at the beginning, but then you turned and caught him. All he did was smirk at you before you tilted your head towards the professor, signaling him to pay attention instead of staring at you.

He listened a little bit, but his eyes kept finding their way to you as the minutes passed. Until he decided that he didn't care any longer and stared unashamedly. The professor did the usual "I know you're not paying attention, so I'm going to ask you a question to make you pay attention" tactic on Sylus, only him to answer it perfectly without even looking away from you.

"Pretty doctor!" You whisper-shout while waving at him and then wave faster when you see Sylus behind him, "and Lux! Hey guys!"

"How long do you plan on calling me that?" Wayne questions as he takes the seat in front of you.

"Forever, duh. Or until you stop blushing, at the very least." You grin as you point out his red ears.

You already knew Zayne and Sylus had a peculiar friendship.

A "bad boy" and the most disciplined college genius together. But you understood why they worked so well the more you spent time with them.

It was balanced, in a way, Sylus called for chaos where Zayne wanted order and vice versa. They allowed each other freedom while remembering not to get too lost in the comfort.

Their banter was unmatched, it never failed to have you clutching at your stomach with tears in your eyes from how hard you were laughing. The sass, the sarcasm, the wit, it was beautiful.

Their humor? Gods, it was horrible, in a good way, of course. Dry jokes, dad jokes and dark humor all around.

"I hate that, I hate that it made me laugh." But not really.

Not when Zayne would smile in that soft, barely noticeable way that made you want to scream.

Not when Sylus's sharp features would soften when he smiled.

. . . . .

“How do you do it?”

“Hmm?” You turn towards Tanya, lifting your head from your notebook.

You're having a study date in your shared dorm room, just the two of you and some soft music without lyrics in it. Or at least, lyrics you could understand, you swore you heard some arabic at some point of the playlist.

“Study?” You look at her notes– flash cards with beautiful calligraphy in different colors and fonts. You don't know how she does it, but you know that it's helped you study along with her, so you don't even say meep about it.

“No, hang out with them.”

“I don't get what you mean.”

“Like, they're geniuses and… intimidating.”

You huff out a laugh, “They're still human, you know? They have good and bad days just like us, they eat and need rest like any other person. Besides, you're a genius too, and we're hanging out, aren't we?”

She scrunches her nose, but says nothing else. You feel like there's something that was left unanswered.

. . . . .

“Really guys? Right in front of my salad?” You grab a spoonful of your ice cream before shoving it into your mouth.

They're flirting in front of you, full on flirting, and no one can convince you otherwise.

Zayne and Sylus are sitting side by side. Zayne with his perfect posture and Sylus with an arm over the backrest, encroaching on Zayne's personal space with a smug smile while Zayne looks amused and exasperated at the same time. Any closer and they could make out right then and there. Not that you'd complain, you're all for them becoming a thing; they'd make a great couple.

They already act like they've been married for 25 years anyways.

Sylus chuckles and leans closer toward you, “Oh there's no need to be jealous, sweetie, there's plenty of me to go around.”

You blink. Once, twice, thrice, a fourth and fifth time. That's the most forward he's ever been with you, it has left you stunned. You gasp with more drama than necessary before swatting at his arm.

“Oh my god, Sylus, you greedy whore.” He chuckles and you look to Zayne to see his reaction. He's already staring at you with an unreadable look in his eyes.

"Oh hey! Look, they're here!" Tanya's voice sounds a little muddled.

You're drunk, drunker than you've ever been, and you're not really paying attention to what she's saying, more focused on hugging her and rubbing your cheek to her shoulder like a clingy cat.

"Hi, sorry, they wouldn't stop asking about you guys, so I just–"

"It's alright, we can take it from here."

You gasp when you hear his voice, "Zayne-bug!" You let go of Tanya to hug him and later pull Sylus into the hug when you notice him too.

“Sylly.” you sing-song while clinging to both of them. Sylus chuckles and Zayne does his best to continue the conversation with Tanya while trying to get you to cling to Sylus instead.

He's close to succeeding when you pull him to kiss his cheek, followed by Sylus’s. You grin up at them, just pure affection and adoration in your eyes. If the kiss wasn't shocking enough, your next words are:

“I love you guys so much.”

They're a bit slurred, but it's enough for them to exchange a look over your head. You keep rambling– about them, their beauty, how great they are, how much you love them– but it gets more mumbled and jumbled as you get more and more into it.

Tanya tries not to laugh, pressing her lips into a line. You're probably going to regret it horribly the next day, but it'll be alright.

You wake up between them.

It's a little awkward. Zayne's bed isn't big enough for the three of you, so all of you are lying on your sides.

Sylus's arm is heavy over your waist and his chest is warm against your back. Zayne is in front of you, a hand held between yours with fingers linked.

You look over to find Zayne already awake and staring at you. His smile is soft, as soft as his “Good morning.” whisper.

You groan and hide your face amidst the mess of fingers created by your hands, curling more into yourself.

“Why is it so bright?”

He huffs out a soft laugh, and shifts to get up and out of bed. You grip his hand tighter when he moves to pull it away.

“You'll have to let go of my hand if you want me to make it less bright.”

“Don't want to. Stay.” You mumble. And so he does.

He stays until Sylus wakes up and you can no longer ignore it.

You catch sight of a familiar face and your blood runs cold.

���Shit, shit, shit, fuck,” you grab a hold of Sylus and instantly use him to shield yourself, holding him in place as you avoid been seen by your ex.

Zayne sighs, giving you a chiding look– you can practically hear his tired “language”– that brings out the brat in you. You stick out your tongue towards him before peeking over Sylus's shoulder.

“Sweetheart?” He's still not allowed to move, you're still gripping his arm, so he can't continue eating. Now, he could switch hands, but your constant glances over his shoulder are concerning.

“My ex is here.” You whisper-shout and that gets Zayne to stop eating.

“Oh? Should I assume they weren't the best by the way you're using me to hide?”

You wince, “Not really? He wasn't that bad, maybe a little… high maintenance.” Sylus raises an eyebrow at your choice of words and you sigh. You let go of his arm to take a bite of your food.

“Fine, he was annoying; wanted my attention on him at all times but barely gave me any. It was always ‘me, me, me’, he even had the fucking audacity to throw fits when I decided to entertain myself when he ignored me or spend time with my friends when he cancelled our plans.” You don't even know how you put up with the treatment at the time. It was exhausting how he kept demanding your life revolved around his while he did whatever the fuck he wanted without a care for you.

You didn't consider it a big deal at the time, life gets busy when you go from being in highschool to being in college, you understood that perfectly. But, in truth, you didn't know the difference between “busy at this college away from yours” and “ignoring you because I'm not bored yet.”

“He broke up with me because, and I quote: ‘I’ve found someone better, someone who can give me the attention that I want’,” you huff and angrily eat your food as you look for something to take out the frustration on, “and then had the nerve to come crawling back, begging me to take him back a few months after.”

“I had to change my phone number, cut contact with who I thought were my friends and delete my social media because he kept bringing everyone else that would listen into it.”

They share a glance while you sigh and chuck the empty container into the trash, “It’s been a few years, and he still keeps looking for me. I’ve given up on a few apps and limited myself to the more… niche ones– if you could call them that– because he just won't fucking stop.” They follow as you start walking away from where you saw your ex, but the retreat doesn't give you peace because you hear your ex's voice call out your name.

“Oh, fuck no,” you link your arms with them and continue walking, pretending you can't hear the voice calling out that godforsaken nickname you now hate. You don't get to make it very far because he catches up and gets in the way.

“Hey, it's been a while.” He smiles, and god does it grate your gears to see him act so comfortably with you. You want to wipe that fucking smile off.

“It should've been ‘never again.’” You scowl and let go of their arms, “What do you want?”

Zayne and Sylus stare with poorly held back curiosity, it's the first time they've heard you sound like this. You're usually so warm, kind and soft, but this? This side of you is cold, sharp and mean. Like the man in front of you is the lowest of scums that could ever exist and giving them your attention and time is a privilege– nay, a luxury they don't deserve. It’s kind of hot to see you like that.

“Please, baby–” hearing that pet name come from his mouth makes your left eye twitch– “I just want to talk.” He looks at your companions and adds “In private, please, just a few seconds.”

You pretend to think it over for a second, “No, either say it with them here or go fuck yourself.”

“Please, you're making a scene.” He looks around and you scoff as you cross your arms, a sarcastic laugh leaving you.

“I wouldn't be making it if you hadn't approached me, now both of us gotta be uncomfortable over your denial to fucking let me go.”

“If you just listened to me–” He starts and the tone of voice raises your hackles even more.

“What do I have to listen to, huh?” You take a step forward, “To your incessant, pathetic begging?–” you clear your throat and make a face as you imitate his voice in the most mocking manner you can muster– “‘Please take me back, I love you, I need you, I can't live without you. Please, give me a chance, I changed, I promise I’m better now, just let me show you.’ You ain't changed shit!”

“Yes, I have!”

“No, you haven't!” You jab his chest, “We wouldn't be having this fucking conversation in the first place if you did! If you did change, you would’ve let me go ages ago. But no, you're here, ruining my fucking date!”

Now that is a lie, and you can already hear the twin “date?” from Sylus and Zayne, they're probably even looking at you funny right now.

Your ex scoffs, and it fires you up even further “As if, they're way out of your league, there's no way you could pull either of them. Ohh, maybe you fucked both of them, that's the only way you could've pulled it off; you've always been such a slut anyways.”

You don't get to punch him; Zayne beats you to it. Calm, amicable, “let's solve the issue with dialogue” Zayne, sucker punches your ex.

You stare in shock.

What the fuck?

Did you just hallucinate that?

No, you couldn't have; your ex is currently on the ground, unmoving.

“Ah, whoops, I didn't mean to do that.”

Whoops?!

Didn't mean to do it?!!

“What?!”

“I didn't mean to knock him out,” He clarifies, already kneeling to check on him, personal feelings and opinions about the jackass be damned as he switches to med-student-on-his-way-to-be-a-doctor mode, “although, I suppose that is better than having to continue listening to his voice.” Zayne says with a bit of a grimace.

He's conflicted, not over punching someone, but over the fact that he unintentionally knocked him out and got rid of two birds with one stone.

Sylus starts chuckling behind you, poorly held back laughter that he can't keep at bay, try as he might. You can't help but giggle along the moment you make eye contact with him, and your giggles become his downfall because he belly laughs. It's not long before you start cackling like a witch as the hysterics take over you.

Zayne stares for a while, completely unimpressed, fighting back his own smile. But then you can't hold yourself up, and you end up bringing Sylus down with you when you try to cling to him for help, and he starts laughing too.

You'll never forget the sight of his shoulders shaking as he laughed quietly, nor his face when he couldn't restrain his smile anymore.

Security arrives right as all of you are calming down. They take statements, check up on your ex– who fucking tries to twist the story to his favour only for it to fall flat when other people side with you– and then escort him out before leaving you to enjoy the rest of the day.

None of you mention it, but you all silently agree that it was the best date-not-date ever.

1h ruler in the 6h: 100% i have become more aware of my health / well-being. my daily routines have dramatically shifted. i set a goal to do 30mins of movement 5 days a week and that has changed my life! i did recently have a mini health problem that landed me at a gastroenterologist... and the answer was i don't get enough fiber and i am severely dehydrated. which oddly enough my eye doctor told me i have very few tear ducts which is causing eye strain and making my vision worse which is another hydration problem. the answer hasn't been eyedrops... i have tried 3 medicated drops - the answer is in the fire rising. WARM EYE COMPRESSES.

2h pluto: unexpected gains or losses... guys that stock market crash - omg i lost 100s i was miffed. power struggles over money... mind you this is my 11h ruler. my friendships and those involved with my friends... i am acting a bit stupid with my money... i have definitely taken charge of many financial situations so far this year. someone pray for me...

2h ruler square venus: my financial situation is clashing with my social life. there is tension in my relationships due to money-related issues, which are issues of differing financial values and struggles over shared resources. i am on this path of save save save for the future considering the future and careers in it feel more and more uncertain while my friends are like who cares spend and see what happens. i don't think i'm unable to meet material standards - i'm simply unwilling to when i see that the price doesn't match my values, needs, or wants and especially when i notice something comparable that will bring joy at a lesser price.

3h neptune rx: this is honestly the worst part of this year so far - conversations are not as straightforward as i'd like.... the vagueness in communication... garbage! just tell me what you mean lol i'm so tired of having to guess then present to people what they asked me to do then they are like "no, i wanted this instead"... i need to work on clarifying my intentions and expectations to avoid misunderstandings for the rest of the year. i think i am being clear in my communication but then no one responds until its a huge mess (i have so many examples of this...).

5h ruler in the 12h: working on creative projects in private... lowkey was this my social media hiatus?? like i fell off and i got so much done. but another possibility - my friend moved up her wedding and i happen to be working on a top secret art project for the couple. i have maybe another month or two of progress i need to make to finish this project/gift.

Early November, 1984 and all Eddie wanted was to light up behind the Byers' place in peace🚬

he went all that way and all he got for it was a maybe-dead💀-but-definitely-unconscious-king👑-slash-maybe-babysitter(?), plus some shithead children directing his van🚐 to those fucking abandoned labs that may as well be lit up in neon lights screaming 🚨THIS IS A FUCKING TRAP🚨

Eddie shouldn’t be here. Like, not in a it’s forbidden kinda way, but more in a, there’s no real reason for him to fucking be here.

Save for the obvious.

It’s just…after the whole dead-not-dead thing with the youngest kiddo, the property around the Byers house has kinda turned into no-man’s-land; easy place to get high when Eddie wants a change of scenery, basically, with no one trying to break his nose, or call the pigs.

Or snatch his supply.

But when he hears that fuckface Hargrove call out, the tone on him—and Eddie’s real sensitive to tones, he can guess between the lines for everything he can’t read—he perks up; listens in. Stays put out of sight.

(And no, he does not cream his pants when Harrington calls back, Jesus; taunts like the cocky prick that he is—

And no it is not a close thing or…whatever.)

Point being: he hears more than sees what happens. Up to and including a gaggle of literal fucking children dragging Harrington toward wha Eddie thinks is Hargrove’s eyesore of a car, one of the sheepies crossing around like they’re planning on driving it, and Eddie’s not one for the rule of law or anything—definitely not if it’s Hargrove’s property that’s on the line—and fuck yes Eddie’s driven without a license, and far below the age to get one, but, but—

He’s tripping over himself to turn the keys in his own ignition and swinging the van around quick enough to kick up dirt before he leans over and throws open the passenger door.

“Hey,” he hisses, low but not quiet, he needs them to hear but he doesn’t know if Hargrove’s gonna storm out any second, it’s a delicate balance; “hey, get in,” and he’s crawling over the seat to open the back, too, to push things to the side to mostly leave it flat, tossing blankets to the middle with no care for their cleanliness because there’s no time for that shit, there’s no time and then he’s grabbing the hinges of the doors and flinging his whole top half around to eye this hoard of strange ankle-biters and what’s revealed quickly to be their still-weirdly-attractive-when-beat-to-shit charge in Steve Motherfucking Harrington, trying to project some degree of meaningful trustworthiness, because he is trustworthy, here and now, but they’re kinda in the fucking clock of crazy-eyes-Mc-West-Coast stumbling out of the house, so Eddie’s kinda gotta urge these rugrats with real feeling, waving his hands to the point where his fucking wrists hurt:

“Get in.”

And of course these little urchins still and just, raise a fucking eyebrow at him. Like they’re not working on an inexact sort of fucking timeline—

“Who the fuck are you?”

Yeesh. He wasn’t off when he said they were ankle biters; the little lambies have teeth.

“I just wanna help,” Eddie tries to say it with as much of the genuine concern that he really and truly feels, and not get weighed down with the probably-suspicious-off-the-bat vibe of pulling up in a random van just to start the exchange out with waving some strange kids into the back of it.

Jesus, that sounds terrible, wow, okay.

He gets it.

“No,” oddly, not the ringleader girl who eyed him first but it’s the curly headed boy now who stands up, squares his shoulders, and stares Eddie down with an only-slightly-less-menacing glare. “No, you’re not gonna hurt Steve.”

“I don’t want to hurt him, I swear,” Eddie’s honestly surprised by how unmuddled his tone bleeds put as desperate, versus irritated by this motley crew of munchkins trying to fight him when he is risking his own neck to help them.

And…King Steve, but then: can he be that motionless, hanging awkward from the noodles limbs of a handful of preteens (at most)?

“I just want to get you out of here, somewhere safe,” Eddie bites his lip, wonders where the fuck he intends to go and realizes he was probably just going to drive toward his home and hope for the best; “Er, somewhere safer than here,” and they don’t fucking budge, little assholes, and Harrington doesn’t fucking twitch, and just, just…

Ugh.

“Come on,” he urges them again, just shy of begging; lets how fucking nervous he’s getting seep clear into his tone a little, but he honestly doesn’t think he’d have convinced them to move if not for the crashing of something in the house behind them, and—well.

Nothing like impending doom to speed shit along.

“I wanted to drive,” the redhead’s muttering with a scowl as they heft the body they’re barely keeping off the ground and awkwardly feed Harrington head-first up to Eddie where where he’s crawled properly into the back of the van to help, and Eddie thinks these little fuckers just might be more wild and feral and insane even than he originally would have guessed for how they make to scramble behind their Steve; only just manages to steady and lower the royal body as careful as he can before the hoard clamors in and denies Eddie so much as a moment to press his finger under Steve Harrington’s flop of bloody hair and touch below his jawline where those stupidly infuriating moles of his speckle his skin, marks that Eddie’s hasn’t ever really paid attention to ever, nope, Eddie only needs now to assess whether he’s just accepted a dead fucking body into his van but: no.

Maybe a little sluggish, but pulse’s strong. Which: Eddie doesn’t care about past the legality of it all. Beyond getting saddled with a murder charge or some other bullshit.

No other reason. Of course. Yeah.

The only thing that floors him more than the Hardy Boys-plus-Girl on steroids tearing onto the cushions around where their unconscious charge is laid out, as Eddie shifts into gear and makes to get the fuck out of dodge, like, yesterday, is the even-louder voice in his head that asks probably the most pressing question:

The fuck did the King do, and how, and why, to make these children this loyal?

What follows all that is quite arguably—actually more than that; definitely a strong contender for—the most surprising thing that’s ever happened to Eddie. That could maybe ever possibly happen to Eddie, in any circumstance for any reason within any universal construct or reality. And he’d been really marinating in his Munson Doctrine this year, too, having been forced to reevaluate some shit after the letter arrived to hammer the most disappointing nail in the coffin of Eddie’s first senior year, but then…fuck everything, then there were the stupid little sheepies and their stupid gorgeous goddamn babysitter—which still, still: what the fuck was that, who the fuck even was Steve Harrington?—and Eddie’d barely even put the ink down to dry before all of them banded secretly together and shredded that motherfucking document before it could even properly take root in Eddie’s brain.

All while something else entirely started to take root in his chest, in his hea—

Well. Something. Something that wasn’t even remotely recognizable inside his most recent—and most polished to date, if he does say so himself—draft of the Doctrine like, at all.

Which is the point.

Because Harrington was indeed alive, and did indeed wake up, and clocked Eddie quicker than expected, even by name—Munson? What the fuck?and hell if that hadn’t fluttered between Eddie’s ribs an indefensible amount that no one would ever know about ever, thank you very much, but still: Jesus H. Christ—

But all his own humiliating discombobulation at the not-even-hands-just-voice-and-presence-of-the-golden-boy aside: it’s a damn good fucking thing Harrington wakes up, and is definitely not dead, because Eddie knows where the King lives, and he knows he’s not driving in that direction but had instead been foolish enough to give these shitweasel munchkins the benefit of the doubt here, like that there maybe was a safe house or some shit, fucking sue him, he was a little prepccupied, yeah—by the threat of a chase with that Hargrove fucker and then by the absolutely spectacle of Harrington screeching at the wayward waifs like a harried mother at the stovetop, because fuck, but Eddie nearly crashes them into three ditches and at least five trees for for trying to watch and he can’t even pretend otherwise—but the end result is definitely not a fucking safe house, and these little asshats have directed him in the wholeass wrong direction, if the undeniable fact of the old abandoned labs at the edge of town looming big through his windshield, looking at least slightly less abandoned (as if that’s not goddamn terrifying in and of itself), what the fuck has he literally driven into, is he an accomplice, and to what, and just, just Jesus—

“Hey.”

Eddie is honestly wholly jolted out of his spiral for a lot of reasons, here. The low tenor exhale of a sound in a voice too kind and open and invested, to much like music given what it does to Eddie, what music means to Eddie and what this voice shouldn’t fucking mean too straight out the goddamn gate. The proximity of a body close enough to feel the warmth of each breath. The indefensible feeling of it being nearly erotic out of nowhere and with no justification at all—just the reality of Eddie’s world right now, to feel the barest brush of the side of a body alongside his, leaning forward where he’s still in the driver’s seat. All of that would tip his world at the very least into a different sort of spiral pattern, breathless in a completely other way.

But.

What knocks Eddie hardest and most effectively in one go is the hand on his shoulder, braced to comfort and steady, and the realization in the flesh of how fucking big it is, how the span of that palm, those fingers, because Eddie knew those hands looked big, not that he’d studied them with any real…attention or anything but feeling them was something entirely other, and the touch, the touch is…is—

“Hey,” and Harrington’s breath is close enough then to tickle Eddie’s hair, goddamn: “breathe.”

And where Eddie hadn’t been wholly aware that he wasn’t, y’know, doing the breathing thing so well, either for the absolute insanity of the evening or the ominous spread, all proper D&D-style foreshadowing of nope don’t go there not now not ever waiting where these menaces had directed him to drive; but whatever the reason, where Eddie now takes a gulp of air in now that fucking burns, there’s Harrington, leaning over a little more, a second hand on Eddie chest to steady him as he falls all while he’s fucking squeezing Eddie’s shoulder, only a second before he’s getting ready to jump out of the van like he wasn’t just beaten unconscious like, five fucking minutes ago.

What the actual flying fuck.

If Eddie weren’t a goddamn idiot, he’d put the van in reserve before anyone could get out the back, fuck the way they’ll be thrown against the sides, at least they won’t be walking—willingly—into whatever the fuck’s waiting, all angry red and kinda…pulsating in the distance in a way that may or may not be a trick of his own paranoid mind, and then spewing little glowing motes into the air like lightning bugs.

Which could be charming, if it weren’t way fucking past the season for that shit.

And in fairness, the whole experience of Steve Harrington touching him and leaning close and breathing near him and telling him to breathe? That shit does carry him through—mostly—the hours that will follow, cliche and genuinely fucking embarrassing as it is, as it will be, to acknowledge at all.

But in the now—

“Thanks, man.”

And…oh, well, fuck.

As in point number one: that hand—bothhands—really are distracting as all hell but then also, simultaneously, very much point number two:

What the actual fuck.

“What?”

Apparently sending Eddie-usually-eloquent-enough-to-spin-some-pretty-bullshit-on-demand-Munson reeling outta nowhere is this fucker’s MO. Probably for the best that Eddie’s been writing him off as a pretty airhead for years now—if for nothing more than his own sanity.

Or else, like…relatively speaking.

“You got us here,” Harrington gestures out the window and…yeah.

“Here?”

That’s the relative part. And the insane part to be thanked for. Because where they’ve ended up is definitely the DoE labs that were supposed to have shut down or whatever, after people disappeared and came back and disappeared again and also didn’t and were never gone and fake bodies and whatever.

No one thanks anyone for bringing them to a place like this.

“And it’s more than I could have asked someone to do,” Harrington’s going on like it’s a casual thing, a favor like walking his goddamn dog and not more like what’s actually staring them down inside the fencing, namely the building that doesn’t look as abandoned as advertised by half, and definitely doesn’t at all look like the only thing it’s missing is a big neon sign blinking TRAP! FREE TRAP! IN THE MARKET FOR A QUICK PAINFUL DEMISE AT THE HANDS OF THE WORLD’S SHITTIEST TAINT FACTORY EAST OF ARMPIT-IAPOLIS? STEP RIGHT UP! ALSO REMINDER: CLEARLY A TRAP!

“Harrington,” Eddie doesn’t love the way his voice trips over a bonafide gulp. “Steve.”

He also doesn’t love how much feeling sneaks into that part because one, where the fuck’d that even come from and two, he…

Eddie doesn’t think he’s ever said this guy’s first name out loud. As in…ever.

He doesn’t love how nice it feels, how scary but bubbly-warm it tingles at the base of his throat and the pit of his stomach.

So there’s all of that.

Still set inescapably under the threat of the non-existent-but-no-less-real-neon-sign-of-death and…stuff.

“We know what we’re doing,” Steve’s pats Eddie’s shoulder again, moves the hand from his chest like he’s pulling away, like he’s leaving to go toward the trap and Eddie whips his head around just in time to catch Steve shrug sheepishly and add:

“Like, mostly.”

It is not at all lost on Eddie, how Steve doesn’t even try to sidestep that he’s walking into the gaping maw of probably death, here.

That might be the most terrifying part of this yet.

“I could,” Eddie’s voice is a crackle, so he tries clearing his throat, licking his lips; “I could at least try to help.”

That comes out a little stronger, but not steadier, and he doesn’t really think he’s making his point very well at all.

But then there’s Steve, and his hand back full on Eddie’s shoulder, saying:

“You could,” like he believes that; “and we’d be grateful,” added in like he means that too.

And most unbelievable of all of it, what he tacks on last with a squeeze of his hand and a lower pitch for no reason Eddie can figure save to catch inside the clench of his pulse so it takes to jittering like fucking mad as the King himself exhales:

“I’d be grateful.”

And what the fuck does that mean, said with eyes so bright when the night’s so dark?

And what the fuck does it mean when Eddie’s heartbeat starts jittering, a butterfly between cupped hands, until:

“I need you to be safe though,” and the words have physical form, brush Eddie’s frizzled curls straight behind his ear like…tenderness, delicate.

What. The. Fuck.

Eddie blames the way his heart goes form butterfly to battering ram, ready to crack through his ribs for no reason save a feeling he can’t justify, but’s too real to pretend away as less when he half-fucking-moans:

“What about you?”

Because Steve’s shepherding the kiddos. He’s keeping Eddie on the sidelines, safe. He’s charging into battle with a handkerchief and a bat and a goddamn pair of rubber gloves found from somewhere, sticking out his back pocket like he’s flagging in day-glo, holy hell—

But who takes care of Steve?

“I’ll see you at school,” Steve winks, leans this time to bump one shoulder straight to Eddie’s and then he’s jumping out the back of the van, and he’s moving too fast and—

“Harrington,” Eddie calls, suddenly forgetting he’d ever been trying to keep quiet, to avoid attention of whatever they’re going out to face, Hargrove or harbingers of worker fates, or both at once; “fuck, fuck,” he hissed as he trips over shit that got shifted back in his way as he stumbles to the doors and yells:

“Steve!”

And it’s like maybe saying his name does something to Steve himself, too, because he pauses, and even for the distance, the little curve of his lips isn’t a smirk, it’s a smile.

It’s fucking beautiful.

And then he’s saluting cockily before he turns on his heel with just one last parting shot;

“See you on the other side, Munson.”

And the tunnels beyond only let him watch so long, see so far. The weird shit in the air, and the bandanas he can see a scuffle over, to make sure they’re tied over noses and mouths, lit by weird pulsing colors, obscene squelching noises he can hear the echoes of even this far back and just, just…

Typical eldritch fuckery from a monster manual.

That doesn’t belong in real life.

It’s a fucking trap, Admiral. Good fucking god.

And Jesus H. Christ, but Eddie hadn’t even had the chance to light up tonight as he’d planned, as he’d explicitly driven out to do.

🍓Synastry Astro Observations🍓

(Cause I haven't been active for three months)

🍓Regardless of the sign a planet is in, it is important to check the aspects it makes to other planets. This is especially the case for synastry charts and readings as aspects create an activation that can enhance, block or overturn the energy of said planets.

🍓People with Sun conjunct Sun aspect are very competitive with one another. This is usually exasperated when one or both have this aspect in a Fire house.

🍓Natives with Mars squaring others Neptune are usually challenging people realities. For the Mars native, the Neptune person is usually a cause of drama or someone that is petty or inauthentic. The Mars person can easily see through the Neptune person facade. However positively, the Neptune person can soothe the Mars native, despite their defensiveness. For the Neptune native on the other hand, this could be a relationship where the Mars person helps them overcome and outgrow harmful cycles, or actualize their dreams. Worst case, the Mars person is very harmful to the Neptune native mental health and psyche. They could be an abuser of sorts.

🍓Mercury trine Mars are people that can help each other process things and brainstorm as they work very well with one another balancing ideas and workload. This is the dream team for any project.

🍓When looking over synastry with a parent, take a good look at the aspects made by their Saturn and Chiron to your personal placements. Chiron in specific can show where/what they unleash or heal their trauma through you.

🍓Having Chiron and/or Pluto conjunct someone inner planets means you're are here to serve them karma or bring them justice.

🍓Ascendant conjunct Venus creates a very beautiful pairing. Whether it's romantic or platonic, this pair accentuate one another's beauty.

🍓Check the aspects your Neptune makes to the other person. The planets aspected indicate where do you overlook traits, paint a false picture, or what are you in denial about regrading the person. This works in terms of justifying behavior, making up a connection, and possibly lying on or magnifying "bad traits" in others that don't exist. It also goes the other way around.

🍓The placement of someone's Moon in your houses can summarize their emotional state towards you or what they find in common with you on a deeper level. For example:

Someone's Moon in your 1st house can be a person that feels endowed or in awe of your appearance (especially when their Moon is inconjunction with your Ascendant). You may carry yourself in a way that they relate to or deeply desire. This person may also be someone that shares superficial feelings of you or thinks that you're shallow. Possible jealousy.

Someone's Moon in your 2nd house is a sign of codependence, specifically of the Moon native towards you. Since the 2nd house rules resources and self esteem, this person may require a lot from you, and might be a bit too comfortable taking things from you. You yourself may also enable this behavior and don't see a problem with it. In some cases, this could be a person that is emotionally supportive and reinforcing of your own worth. In contrast, this could be someone that creates blockages and hinders your material growth.

Someone's Moon in your 3rd house will be a person that you feel very comfortable talking to. This can be someone you find out that they're from the same hometown as you or have lived/is living in your childhood neighborhood. A potential life long roomie. An indication of a nurturing or "motherly" way of communicating with one another.

Someone's Moon in your 10th is similar to that of the 1st, in that the Moon person would be either in awe or jealous of you. In this house, this is exhibited overtly. This person could be your biggest cheerleader or biggest hater. Something about you succeeding (or even failing) affects them deeply. It's likely that this person won't have your best interest at heart and may use associating with you as a way to gain fame or monetary wealth. In positive cases, this person could be a confidant in professional environments.

🍓People that have more than two planets in your water houses (4th, 8t, 12th) will have a profound effect on you for the rest of this lifetime. These houses are not only related to our deeper selves and private life, but they're also karmic.
