Balade nocturne avec Philippe AUTRIC sur la plaine d'Escourillon, au dessus de l'Étang de Berre

Évocation par Philippe AUTRIC du peintre plasticien Yves KLEIN et son manifeste de 1959.

Montée lente et régulière sur 180 m pour atteindre ce plateau, lieu dit, nommé 'Plaine' d'Éscourillon et dominante des Plaines de Saint Julien les Martigues et Saint Pierre.

Différents niveaux de profondeurs qui ne dépasse pas - 40 m au plus profond.

Départ de la MJC de Martigues.

Début de la montée après les dernières limites de la ville. D'un seul coup nous sommes plongé dans la garrigue et la pinède

Un premier palier avant la deuxième partie de la montée, nous permet de découvrir l'horizon lointain et un fragment du chenal de Caronte.

Une deuxième halte 50 m plus haut pour enfin apercevoir le chenal et le Golfe de Fos.

Pinède au sommet et dernières lueurs.

Presque en face de notre point de vue, déjà dans la pénombre de cette partie du littoral de l'Étang, la Centrale hydroélectrique EDF de St Chamas. C'est de là que nous retrouvons Philippe AUTRIC en une courte et incisive intervention visio, puisqu'il est lui posté près de cette Centrale à 15 km de notre position.

Or bleu : Une des questions posées par Philippe concerne l'actualité des rejets en eaux douces qui polluent depuis des années l'Étang en modifiant son ph et donc son équilibre entre eau douce et eau salé. Depuis la sécheresse de 2022, brusquement cette question d'une dérivation de l'eau douce rejeté fait ressortir des propositions de projets.

'En moyenne, EDF rejette entre un et 1,2 milliard de mètres cubes par an, résume le patron du Gipreb*. En turbinant 600 millions de mètres cubes, on voit bien que cela a un impact positif. Il faut donc tendre vers cet objectif“.

Différentes variantes d'un projet qui tends à considérer cette eau douce de la Centrale EDF comme une marchandise à vocation de rentabilité et vendu auprès des différents industriels du golfe de Fos.

Nous plongeons au dessus de la raffinerie de La Mède.

Or noir : La Mède, une des 9 raffinerie de carburants en France, un site de Total qui à longtemps produit du carburant à partir du pétrole. Puis en 2016 projet de transformation du site compatible avec les enjeux de décarbonation et la transition énergétique. Transformation afin de surtout sauver le site et ses emplois. 'Le préfet des Bouches-du-Rhône a autorisé la société TotalEnergies Raffinage France à transformer la raffinerie de la plateforme de la Mède2 en bioraffinerie, par arrêté préfectoral en date du 16 mai 2018,[...] L’étude d’impact mise à jour en juillet 2021 indique que la plateforme de la Mède cessera d’être approvisionnée en huile de palme à compter de janvier 2023. Cependant, elle ne précise pas la nature, la provenance géographique, ni la quantité des huiles retenues en remplacement.'

En réalité ce projet est verrouillé sur l'huile de palme, dépendant d'une demande en voie de raréfaction concernant les biocarburants. Ceux-ci étant eux même remplacé par le tout électrique 'renouvelable'.

Vu satellite. L'espace laissé noir, l'Étang de Berre, au milieu des lumières à droite du delta de la Camargue, une zone peu lumineuse.

Retour avec lueurs du Golfe de Fos.

you guys have no idea how much it tickles me to see ds9 trending on the top 20 of shows of Tumblr this week when ds9 literally aired from 1993 to 1999.

this show is 31 years old. it was the black sheep of the franchise for years, was hated by Rick Berman to the point where its canon was disrespected and ignored for every subsequent star trek, including modern trek.

and yet.

still top 20 on trending shows of 2024.

and i'm so glad the youngins are still watching it, and star trek in general.

it just proves my theory that if you make a show that feels like home, people will not only return to it, but bring their children with them too.

also that if you make a really gay and trans half alien half human crew, your show will be timeless.
