Fuck I'm completely broke & and no funds left for this month's EBT. I'm going to start telling my mom I can't afford to buy food for her with my EBT. Food prices are way jacked up with inflation & $300 is not that much for 30 days, 3 meals a day. I have high blood pressure & Gout inflammations so I can't just eat anything because it would give me Gout flare-ups so bad I wouldn't even be able to walk & it gives long term damage to your bones & joints. So I just can't eat a bunch of ramen or a big bag of rice. I'm running out funds and end up going hungry, skipping meals to stretch it out throughout the month. I'm loath to tell my mom though because I know she'll instantly freak out & play the victim hitting me with "We've done so much for you and you can't even share your food you get FOR FREE?!" She doesn't give a shit I go hungry she wants her pound of flesh. She doesn't EVEN NEED IT they have so much food & ingredients they fight over food storage space, they are constantly throwing out rotten & spoiled food. And I can't eat any of their food without suffering severe health consequences, it's all processed red meat, seafood, food high in starch, refined sugar, purines & salt. Lately they even gave their dog some of my soy burger patties & didn't replace them, that's OK feed your fucking dying dog my food it's not like I eat a special diet for health reasons & I don't have enoufh resources to feed myself. They just both have this toxic attitude towards me "What have done for us right now?! What can we get & squeeze out of you?! YOU OWE US AFTER EVERYTHING WE DID FOR YOU AND THIS IS HOW YOU REPAY US?!" Problem is it's never going to be enough or good enough. They don't see things as a family support structure or members helping each other without asking for anything in return. It's very transactional with them thinking I owe them my life yet when the shoe is on the other foot on the rare occasion I need a ride to an appointment because I missed my bus it's usually no but either way my mom gives a massive guilt trip, she acts like I ask them all the time for favors & even says I'm taking advantage of them. She'll say hyper critical shot about me peppered with insults & putdowns with a huge heapingfull of guilt. "I can't do everything for you, I'm not going to be around forver... When will you ever be normal with a wife & kids?!" Over a fucking short 3 mile car ride which I rarely ask for. In fact I HATE asking them for ANYTHING because instantly it's crafted into a weapon to stab me in the back, to make me feel like I'm a piece of shit, I'm a burden, I'm a fuckup, I'm the cause of ALL of their problems like I'm fucking the devil himself using my magical powers to bring them misfortune, misery & woe. So much of the shit they say or accuse me of is SUPER EXAGGERATED. They are also super self centered once the instant ANYTHING inconveniences them or they get a tiny fraction outvof their routine & comfort zone suddenly it's a fucking tragedy because it's happening to THEM. I'm just going to lie to my mom and say they only gave me $100 this month so I can't give her anything.

last night this millennial made a comment about me along the lines of “well we can see who was in high school not that long ago” and now that its morning i think it might’ve literally just been because i referenced dantes inferno and that im wrong for taking offense but at the time i took it as an insult and i was upset because i thought it was really disrespectful and it also targeted something ive recently been insecure about (coming across as fake deep or pretentious). even now im not sure if the disrespect was intended but i was pissed off after. anyway i also just remembered this incident in high school where i was hanging out in a group setting with this older gen x woman who was a friend of this family and she ALSO made a snide little comment towards me 😭 and because i was crazy in high school i just started crying on the spot in front of her and it made her so uncomfortable that she left 😭😭😭😭 i need to start doing that again. new years resolution cry in public more

[+] my revision of formulation for the whole study & thesis was majorly approved, ppl can no longer pretend to or actually be lost

[+] minion² was contained, showed up in person and got the sense that no one was going to take his nonsense

[+] no major disagreement between the supes, all subteams understand their tasks

[-] back-to-back-to-back meetings w advisors, integrators, external working groups, and study lead in the next two weeks

[-] i have to finish reading... 15+ papers and compile their data

[-] fix a data structure implementation in my optimization model that i had promised since... nov last year lol (it wasn't entirely necessary. until now)

we'll see if i'm in the mood for stress relief writing instead of just stress relief daydreaming... there's a lot of stuff for every fic but it's all over the place. tpac hyperfixation is still holding strong (esp when compared to all other wips, it is second place for most concrete ending + actual epilogue)

(first place is larb bc every chapter is outlined and scoped; just haven't felt like writing it)

(not saying the other fics don't have planned endings but besides their plot i don't have the context for the endings yet. the shape of the ending scenes are very much informed by the long, in-between chapters)
