Elise for the ask game?

Ooohh Elise!!!

Favorite thing about them: I really like her!! She's funny and cute. I also love how there's different versions of her and love every single one of them. It makes me happy every time she's on screen.

Least favorite thing about them: I can't really mention the pedo undertones here because it's an issue with Mori more than with Elise herself, right? Besides there's been a wide debate in the fandom on this, and I'm not sure what reading give to the whole deal anymore; but I still suspect it's really not that deep and just a case of bsd's untasteful dark humor. Here's how I would personally like to rewrite their relationship if it was up to me.

Favorite line:

She doesn't have a lot of spoken lines, but this one is hilarious.

brOTP: I really like to think that she and Dazai would play together when he was 15. I find her interactions with most pm members endearing, to be honest (Hirotsu, Tachihara to name a few). I also like her relationship with Mori until it assumes creepy undertones, although I'm not sure I can separate it from that... But I find the scenes where she mocks him and he reacts dramatically very funny.

OTP: Uhm, none.

nOTP: Nope.

Random headcanon: She and 15 Dazai used to have creepy drawing sessions together. Mori probably still keeps some of their drawings.

Unpopular opinion: I think we're kind of underestimating the potential of a sentient ability. I fairly like the Naomi-ability theories, but we're much overlooking the fact that a wholly sentient ability already exists within canon itself (two do, counting Gab from 55 Minutes). I think Elise being sentient is a concept very interesting to explore: how much of her personality was shaped by Mori and how much is hers? How does being aware of her being an ability effect her mentally? Does Mori make her so young so that she doesn't have the means to rebel against him after realizing that she can't exist outside of him? Can she hold memories from the past versions of herself? What happens when she dies, does she reset? And so on.
