speaking of meet up streams, i never really liked karlnap meet up streams. i’ll be honest and say individually they are the two i watch the least out of dtqk, but i feel like whenever karl is involved in a meet up stream, they feel so impersonal. like the karlnap cooking stream, why was there a camera man? and why was he zooming in and out and shaking it around all the time? george’s solo cooking streams and the snf cooking stream were much more entertaining imo.

i loved all of the qnf irl streams in december, the two of them together are electric and they both know how to balance an entertaining stream whilst maintaining that level of intimacy with the viewers.

i really enjoyed the snf streams too, especially the minecraft one and the cooking stream. i LOVED the qnfnap smoothie stream, where one of Them was the camera man rather than a random person, and it felt kinda like a home video.

i think karl relies way too much on his mr beast connections and experience for streaming, when mr beast is not a streamer. what works for youtube videos doesnt work for streams.

i love the whole . mom and pop store hands on vibe. like heres my mom and pop ranking:

1) dream. started his journey by studying the algorithm. learned coding to make interesting plugins for videos even tho he doesn’t personally do that as much these days. comes up with video ideas, edits all his own main channel videos, heavily involved in lore and writing and has pitched so many ideas, edits other people’s videos too and comes up w ideas for them, trains himself for his content, aka like improving his skills for manhunt and sourcing plus coming up w cool traps and tricks

2) quackity. his youtube channel grew up from ground up since he was a kid he’s heavily involved in the editing process of his own videos aside from subtitling he has gone through so many phases on his channel to keep things fresh as a creator his LORE is all edited and written by him he’s put in the effort to reach out to creators to put together a cohesive entertaining storyline he has his own ideas, he’s great w production and performance

3) george. instrumental to a lot of the coded plugins for his and dream’s videos esp in the early days, takes a lot of pride in his channel even if he isn’t usually the creative driving force behind certain ideas, but stuff like the ‘minecraft but my friend is ___’ idea was found by him and pitched to dream, he also edits his own videos in the event where he doesn’t girlboss dream into it, he is less involved in lore but has done impressive streams w heavy cc involvement and like set up (aka him ‘destroying’ the server and it all going back) and he’s shown good acting skills, he cares about the entertainment value he brings, brainstorms ideas for fun streams etc

4) sapnap. he’s a little more of a does as told guy which is fine because he followed dream here and that’s awesome and i wish i had his life. he’s dedicated def, he puts effort into filming and editing and when they film a video for his channel he’s usually prompt about getting it done and with lore he has the heart he wants to participate and make it more entertaining and he also wants to have a laugh and he is just skilled and that’s impressive always to see

5) karl. im sorry i love you i will free you one day. but maybe u don’t want to be freed. anyway i appreciate karl’s tenacity like he is a fun guy very friendly and ‘everyone is his friend’ vibe he is where he is bc he worked very hard with the stroke of luck he had w mr beast but well the minecraft videos did him no favors. i know he has it in him it just feels like he gets too ambitious so obviously he has to delegate but then when there’s too much delegation it loses some sincerity :( im sorry

No bc Nat is right. Quackity pushing Quackbur/TNTduo overlapped with the end of the DSMP and it started when the fandom started running with the joke about the “sexual tension” between c!Q and c!Wilbur. Like for some reason that really made something in Q’s brain click bc he started slowly pushing it more and more. Like how he brings up /r tntduo during the “favorite HCs” question in Twitchcon San Diego. Even referring to it as “well since Wilbur shot it down it would be my favorite hc”. Which now brings us to the QSMP where Quackity is pushing Quackbur with the same fervor as he did with qnf except Wilbur isn’t there and when he is, he isn’t playing along. Q wants Quackbur to be the DNF of the Qsmp because that drives clicks and views.

Relating to the last anon who said q is baiting quackbur now, agreed. q is literally the "friendship ended with x, now y is my best friend meme" but the "best" part of best friend is missing. In this case, wilbur is the new bff, only wilbur is on tour and not streaming so idk how long he's going to stretch it out. As long as people fall for the bait i guess?

100% agree. also now thinking back to how q praises and voices his appreciation to his friends, i don't think i've ever heard him speak like that to anyone but george and wilbur. obviously i'm never watched that much q's streams BUT he def started to push for quackbur especially in the wine streams.

I just realised that nobody actually asked about romantic QNF but it got put on the list anyway so here’s a mild boyfriend forecast because you can usually extrapolate the friendship landscape from the more intense version.  

I was actually surprised how well the Four and Nine profiles seemed to nail their connection. If you add some hyped-up yelling to this introduction paragraph you’ve got a pretty good overview of what makes them meld.

Hello hello ^•^ How're you doing? I hope well and not too busy! Do you have any exams approaching? Sorry if you already said, I'm just wondering because this is the time I'd be sitting them if I was in college rn 😭 dodged a bullet fr this year but if you have them I wish you all the best with them!!

I actually finished breaking bad last night and after watching Quackitys upload I wanted to ask how did Hank from breaking bad and gnf get along so well 😭 Nothing in the world could've prepared me for the dynamic duo gn. I won't say too much in case you're holding out on watching but there was a period where three of them were huddled around, each somehow in a variation of a walter white skin and it got me so bad. The actor himself also tweeted after saying how it was a funny edit, so true and real king. I found it entertaining although bbh was definitely more on the sidelines, I'm not too surprised considering Qnfs shared love of the show. I also got round to signing up to Dracula Daily (and caught up on the earlier letters) and I was wondering if you were also? :D I've never read Dracula in my life but doing it day by day is a really fun way to go about it plus putting the times in perspective 🥵 chefs kiss, maybe this will be the push I need to read more classics (maybe just read more fullstop). Also also were you ever a Dan and Phil fan? I checked in on Dan's channel the weekend when he uploaded his comeback? Maybe? Vid but didn't get too far. I did however, go to Phil's channel and found out that they still have real old (vintage 😍) d+p merch for sale from like 2016 which was wild to me. Honestly I thought they would've sold like hot potatoes back in the day but relooking at the store (literally all on sale for 1 pound) and I can see why it didn't sell. The design was far more lazier than I remember and comparing Gmfs merch for instance there is a wild increase in quality. Although price goes up with it too it is nice to see the standard rising. That being said I've yet to buy and YouTubers merch and I don't think I honestly ever will at this point because not many YouTubers have me checking for uploads these days. Hello hello sunshine ^_^ Yeah, a little busier right now, most of my exams will probably be in June so yeah, around now it's a lot of finishing projects, presentations, papers and trying to study with mixed results 😐 Very happy you don't have to deal with that this year! Watching qnf just interact is always fun and tbh I'm not surprised George got along well cause he is the type of getting to know someone or hanging out with new people, he is after all most likely to be on the teams with people playing mcc for the first time which always just makes me appreciate his easy-going personality so much more. Definitely have to get around on watching Breaking Bad, at the very least to enjoy that video more, it's entertaining in itself but all the inside jokes and references definitely were flying over my head lmao I wasn't but after seeing references and memes and now you mentioning it I went and signed up, call that peer pressure but fun type :D I also definitely want to read more classics, same with poetry... in general sometimes I feel like there is so much to enjoy, do, watch, read, learn and so little time but that's uhh let's put that small existential crisis back in a box under a lock were it belongs 😌 Recently I got great quote from Sylvia Plath on my dash that expressed this feeling very well and in general I feel like her quotes are just... if no one gets me I know Sylvia Plath gets me type, I actually have bought one of her books, The Bell Jar and it's waiting on my shelf for hopefully summer time after exams (same with literature analysis book sadly). Last book I read was SVSSS don't know if you heard about it? It's Chinese danmei novel. Protagonist is very fun, I usually get *chasing after them with a blanket and hot chocolate and getting them into hurt/comfort fics cause 👌🏻* vibes but he just makes me feel like he should be made fun of (lovingly) and if someone needs blatant example of unreliable narrator I'm slamming that book on their table hahah In general very enjoyable book you can enjoy just reading but definitely has layers and deeper themes you can get into if you want! It's one of mxtx works, if you would hear about one I feel it probably would be mdzs? And I actually never watched Dan and Phil, I think I watched Dan's coming out video and planned to watch hia new one cause I really enjoyed his video style and sharing his perspective. I heard there is definitely a pattern of people who did watch their videos and then started watching dream team which actually is kinda interesting how that works. And yeah, definitely working as youtuber and /or streamer became much more widespread which definitely results in rising expectations and quality of merch and in general. And same, I don't own any, I think like the only ones that made me go hmmm maybe was one of George's merch hoodies (some milestone one I think) but I don't remember which one and hoddies Quackity was selling with that limited Las Nevadas merch drop but having to multiply price cause of currency exchange and not even adding shipment I was like actually I'm fine, thanks 😭 But I definitely like how recently the merch George puts out has some fun inside jokes, like that one for 9 mil(?) with a cat, just makes it more fun. And don't worry about ramblings for real, they make me happy :D I didn't but with how much popularity it's getting I definitely will although with my binging tendencies I prefer to wait till whole season is out (if it actually already is I'm sitting down and watching the whole thing). has q ever said a good word for dream? i've always admired the way quackity is very openly appreciative of his friends and tells them that, his done that with george, wilbur etc multiple times but i've never heard him talk similarly about dream. idk i might be reading into this too much and they were never as close as qnf for example but i think it's still something that seems a bit sad when you consider how big opportunities he's gained partly because of dream (not that he wasn't already successful but dsmp was still a huge thing for him too)

Regardless to if the Qnf meetup is happening right now at this very minute or weeks in the future, I personally cannot wait to see them together.

From a duo that started by pure chance of Quackitys vice president requests being denied three times over until landing on George who said yes, they truly blossomed into much more than expected. The beginning L'manberg elections where they barely knew each other but somehow made it work. Previous conceptions of George being very shy and reserved soon getting washed away as Quackity witnessed his debating capabilities.

This lead to interactions outside of Minecraft, the infamous phasmophobia stream coming to mind, paired with the initial Jackbox streams where it was exciting to see new interactions between creators. Not to mention after the very first Jackbox, in the following stream George expressed how he didn't think he was good at it but Quackity reassured him saying he was the "funniest person in the call". They soon became regulars on one each other's streams after that.

I expressed this before but after befriending Quackity and experiencing his streams, George branched out of content comfort zones more often. As well as becoming more camera confident, he began to truly shine as a content creator. On the opposite side, Quackity expressed his appreciation once once in Karl's stream how similar to a lawnmower, George revs him up for streams and brings fun and energy he can bounce off of. This is evident from one of Quackitys once chilled alt streams turning into a full on "twitter war" consisting of screenshots exposing how obsessed the other was after George entered.

They truly were fast friends which shines in their joint streams together that often descends into laughter between the two. I can't imagine how different things would be if someone else agreed to be Quackitys vice president all those months ago but I'm glad it worked out the way it did.

i rewatched the part where george joined call on quackity’s alt stream and i am so soft for their friendship i swear. ik everyone’s talking abt the dnf thing but hello?? one of the first things george tells quackity when he joins the call is to sleep and hydrate, and then we get george genuinely being kinda upset at the fact that quackity said he’d visit wilbur and not mention him. they were just having fun banter afterwards and idk it’s always so nice to watch their interactions :[

pleaseee quackity being so delighted over george lurking and hearing the wilbur thing, the fact that they’ve DONE this song and dance before when george brought up quackity wanting to come to the uk to visit wilbur that one time and got genuinely offended because he didn’t consider him first/at all, despite not being necessarily close at the time btw!! which speaks volumes to how quickly george took to liking quackity

i also loved to see quackity being so proud and self aware of the fact that he’s been the only one to make george do lore

Watching it back, mcc 14 wasnt actually that bad! I only just finished watching the previous mccs too and watching it all back to back made me realise the s2 changes are kinda pog tbh :D

Excited for mcc 15 !! George did rlly well in this mcc and at some points rlly carried the team, so after now knowing the maps and the courses and stuff, i feel like he could deffo get top 15 (mayhaps even top 12 question mark ..?) next time :]

That ace race mishap rlly brought down his points by a lot.. if he hadn't gotten confused over those Xs (which he had very valid reason to be confused abt actually), he deffo could've at least placed 20th in it instead of the 32nd he placed ;-;; like srsly that X thing brought him from 22nd all the way down to 38th till he gained ground again ohnygod imagine if he HADN'T confluffled there 😭

He did amazing on TGTTOSAWAF as well !! That luck-based round was confusing and adaptability was rlly important in order to do well in it, whereas that rocket spleefish thing was just difficult, so those are two games he rlly needs to work on, but he like iirc consistently placed top 15 on the rest of it right? Super good considering the new maps! He's rlly improved from last year :'))

And his battle box performance !!! I don't think he's ever placed top 5 in it, no? His training paid off spectacularly and some of the plays he made were so coool :o like him 1v3ing skeppy, tapl, and bbh (?) ?? It was so SMOOTH he took em by surprise and beat em to death. Him shooting sapnap immediately followed by melee was rlly pog too :D He ended up on 1 health yet if punz weren't there, i fully believe he could've killed katherine too. Whilst watching his previous mccs, i noticed that when under pressure like that, his nerves usually get the best of him and he ends up throwing, leading to him getting rlly frustrated with himself (and by extension me too as a viewer tbh). This time though he did better than ever :)

He's rlly grown so much as a performer too omg like even when this time he was 'tryharding', his stream did not make me feel bored nor frustrated a single second :D. When watching his prev mcc vods i occasionally got rlly frustrated watching him since he used to nvr rlly let it all out other than through those lil "aawh i should've ...." he does. But now he lets it all out through inhuman sounds, sliding down his chair etc LMAOOO idk if it's just me but usually when characters in movies pent up their feelings, i end up feeling it a lot more irl (ex a character should cry but doesnt => i cry in their stead), so that kinda applies to watching streamers too i sppose. Aside from it being rlly entertaining to watch, it also releases all the built up frustration, 2 birds with 1 stone pog (maybe it's also cos he genuinely did rlly well this mcc and i genuinely dont know what he could've done better too) :]

Tldr;

This mcc was amazing, george has rlly improved in terms of entertainment and game performance, i believe next time he could deffo place top 15 overall :]

I need to throw some random qnf appreciation on the dash today because I'm re-watching George's stream with quackity from a few days ago and it's so cute 😭 Sometimes they do the whole "yelling at each other and acting annoyed" thing and I do love that because it's hilarious, but moments like this stream where they're just super chill and vibing with each other is so wholesome. Like theyre genuinely such good friends and care about each other and like each others company and its so cute and underrated

dtqk are soulmates in a platonic sense: they’re just people that were meant to be around each other. and like to me it’s about how quackity didn’t really have any friends except for schlatt for a decent chunk of lockdown but then he meets george and their friendship is never really awkward and it grows so fast and soon enough quackity has another best friend to goof around with constantly. someone who almost always plays into his bits no matter how weird they are and talks about breaking bad with him for hours. and on the flip side it’s so obvious to me that quackity is a big part of what brought george out of his shell. like the more he streams with q the more he seems comfortable on camera and willing to play into absolutely batshit jokes. like their friendship has brought something great to both of them and to me it’s proof that like maybe you have multiple soulmates and they’re just your best friends

ngl but rewatching and seeing clips of the qnf vods, and you can see whenever gnf looks over at q

just how much he appreciates and is so thankful fr him being there in the uk

gnf always seems to look at him, and initiates physical contact, it feels like how someone just cant believe theyre there with him physically, irl and not just on a screen

how he keeps reminding chat and themselves how awesome it is to be here now, like he cant belive its happening,

how gnf would look at q as if he gave him one of the greatest gifts he ever got this year alone, having a close friend go all the way to meet him regardless of schedule or complications

how gnf knows just how much stress q has been through with his finals, his lore, his merch and work, yet right after doing all these, he doesnt rest but instead the first thing he does is to travel miles away just to meet him in the uk

how special and loved gnf must have felt at that moment, how you can see just how much he appreciates quackity with his smile, his energy, his laugh

how both of their energies are so contaigous that you even feel the joy right through your veins, having second hand happiness from watching them be happy
