I don't think the dragon exists.

think about it: when the wall exploded, supposedly waking her up, would we not have heard or seen her? dragons are traditionally both massive and loud, and if she truly did hear it, she must have been nearby.

on top of this, would she really have left her precious eggs in the hands of complete strangers? one would believe a mother would be more protective over her own children, prioritizing them over herself. would she really leave without them?

my theory is that the eggs are devices. living and breathing, yes, but devices nonetheless, designed to keep the island residents as compliant as possible. how could they ever want to leave when they have their very own child to take care of? they've even been promised rewards if they take care of their eggs well enough, something to further sweeten the deal.

they put the eggs in constant danger in order to build the island residents' attachment to them. trauma bonding, if you will. the eggs are young and they are vulnerable, and must be protected at all costs. there is no space to question the island, no space to begin to consider escaping. they spawn dragons to make the lie seem more believable. if dragons exist in the present, surely it's plausible that one existed once before. they don't even let the residents begin to question the idea that there may be no dragon.

who cares if some of them die? the island doesn't even have to lift a finger. the residents can squabble and distract themselves, anyway.

it's clearly been working. though qbad and qmaximus have been privately theorizing with qfoolish and qcellbit, all of them excluding qfoolish very recently being found out by cucurucho, no one has made a serious escape attempt. no one has attempted to go back through the portal which brought the english and spanish speakers to the island.

the brazilians' arrival is odd— no portal in sight, not invited, simply appeared, coincidentally on the same day the eggs would supposedly die. this, of course, does not actually happen— it's a bargaining chip the island can't afford to lose. what they can do, however, is remind the island goers just how powerful they are. they return their children, visibly cracked, with one new egg specifically designed for the brazilians added to the bunch, just like tallulah's sudden appearance, clearly made just for wilbur.

now with a child to take care of, the brazilians can't look for a way out just yet. richarlyson is their son, after all. they have to look after him.

they're obviously desperate to keep the island residents here, but why? what do they need so many people for? and more, still, with the recent addition of the brazilians?

QSMP - Hey so I think the Resistance kidnapped Pac back in August

/rp Let us recall Pac getting kidnapped.

Pac and Mike find the above book in Walter Bob's cell, labelled "ASSIGNMENT".

One of the screen displays in another prison cell (Tazercraft speculates that it's the Prison Ghost that helped them out in their joint jailbreak earlier) gives Fit the coordinates.

Tazercraft goes to the coords and find the Code with the Code Sword, which attacks them.

Forever warps them out, but Pac gets warped far away underwater.

Pac goes to Ocean Jail. "Craft is offline. Tazer is alone."

Mike gets a series of clues left for him by an anonymous party.

(Checking back at the initial coords where the code attacked first, they find one of those white rooms with an caged Blob of Darkness. Later players speculate this has something to do with the Dark Matter but I don't think we know anything for sure.)

When they find and rescue Pac, Pac says he's been trapped there and someone was being tortured next to him, but doesn't know a lot else.

Ocean Jail does not look like a normal Federation build - IIRC the block palette was very dark, not white quartz all over.

On the way out, they are chased by a couple faceless guard-entities on the way out, who Mike kills. And that's about it.

Knowing what we know now from Etoiles' lore and the fact that Walter Bob was a Resistance member, I don't think Pac was kidnapped by the Federation. I think he was kidnapped by the Code/Resistance-alliance.

To me, this paints a coherent picture:

Resistance member Walter Bob planned to deliver something to the found coords, which is a Resistance base.

Tazercraft gets near the place and their presence triggers an alarm or freaks someone out, which summons the Codes.

The Code (somehow?) sends Pac to the Resistance's Ocean Jail as a defensive measure.

(I checked many of these but am kind of going from memory for others, please let me know if I have a detail wrong.)

Maxo just had some awesome lore. I recommend everyone watch his stream VOD, from the theory bros meeting to the end because it was really cool. If you can’t do it right now, I made a summary below:

During the meeting with theory bros BBH and Cellbit, they were going over the conspiracies and catching Cellbit up. Cucurucho was spotted spying on them. They all quickly fled and promised to meet again soon.

But Cucurucho approached Maxo, a short while later when he was alone.

Maxo quickly lied that the theory room was an “underground game room” where he brings his friends to play games together.

Maxo challenged Cucurucho to a chess match, with the condition that if he wins he gets information about the island. During this match we did get small snippets of info:

Cucurucho confirmed they are indeed part of the Federation and acts like the messenger

They wouldn’t answer if there used to be people on the island before.

They placed this weird picture on the wall and said they liked it. And put a bunch of flaming skull paintings all over, kinda feels like a threat ngl

To Maxo’s question of why they keep spying on people, Cucurucho replied in a book: “Is that not what a good host does? Being aware of your guests.”

Maxo won the chess match (it was really stressful) and demanded to know this information as a reward:

Cucurucho answered with this.

Cucurucho disappeared and all the paintings on the walls instantly changed into art of them.

Next to the chess table was this threatening image directed to Max: “DISFRUTA LA ISLA” - ENJOY THE ISLAND.

While he did get information, Maxo was upset & felt tricked that it was so little. They already know the duck in the recordings is sus. He resolved to himself that he going to find the truth no matter what. He will build his communication tower and talk to the theory bros again soon about all of this.

Ok just as a little reminder to those who may have missed it, I know a lot of people likes the q!Foolish is completely alone, that he is being abandonned by people, that the islanders were never nice to him etc. And I understand, I like angst too, and in a lot of ways yes. BUT Yesterday, Baghera insisted that what was happening to him was sad, she insisted that he kept his place among the theory bros. "I'm joining only if Foolish stays". She asked him if he wanted to do his own Theory bros with her. In the end when the other two convinced her to join and they started to leave Foolish at his Titan, she messaged him : "Don't worry, I'm not taking your place, this is temporary, it's yours as soon as you ask for it." And when she left , and he said, "So you are taking my place ?", she yelled back "It's not my place, it's yours, you didn't leave."

BONUS : Foolish seeing her weapon's names : Foolish's head slayer, Foolish destroyer etc. and he said "That's a crazy name !" she answered : "Oh yeah, don't worry, I'll change it, it doesn't fit anymore (I'll change them to say Etoiles)"

Really really trying my best to listen to tubbo’s theories but they are so easily picked apart bc of his own bias and interpretation of the events that have happened. So I’m gonna go through it because I can and also a lot of people seem to just take it at face value which it really isn’t. There are a lot of factors that play in here.

The Maze - why would they have been brought to the maze and to the spinner room directly if not to spin the wheel especially since the way in was fixed the same day. They were brought there by evil cucurucho(who is connected to the watcher) for a reason and it was to spin that wheel, so blue was always meant to exist. Also it was 3 of them there so they’re all guilty of letting it happened it wasn’t just tubbo who was at fault for spinning the wheel.

Eggs on egg island - it’s likely but if he had the eggs on the island previously, he could have also just killed the eggs then but he didn’t because they’re leverage and mind games bc how do we even know if he has the eggs. Also how would the eggs even be able to give info or know the future unless they’re with the game maker. The eggs being split into 3 teams on the island also confirms it was meant to be 3 teams. Therefor blue isn’t an accidental team.

Why would the game maker make blue cursed, try to eliminate blue if they were never meant to exist and therefore kill the eggs cause they’re cursed? (Tubbo was talking along these lines i just paraphrased because how do you simplify it)- By that logic it makes red the cursed team because it was only meant to be green and red; and the cursed team has always existed as far as we know, it wasn’t just invented bc a team got in when they weren’t meant to. It’s so obviously the game makers design. Either way if there wasnt meant to be a third team then he would have just made two teams but he didn’t, cause the wheel spins are connected to the eggs by the info given. As well if he cursed blue despite them supposedly not meaning to exist to kill their eggs, makes no sense. Then he would have no power over them because he has all the info, so him “trying” to kill “cursed” blue wouldn’t make sense.

The egg war - blue didnt even try, even with the makeshift agreement not everyone actively agreed agreed to it, they all just assumed. Their egg was removed because blue was basically dead bc they didn’t prep, green maimed the egg almost all the way, blue had low team numbers and they weren’t enjoying it, so they were taken out to speed the game up.

The egg videos before they arrived at egg island - the videos are kinda bs because they were only on twitter and it is essentially the eggs motivating them to win because they don’t want their parents or siblings to die especially if they’re all separated. So basically just promotion. Also how could the eggs know anything happening in their game, the game maker would just make a new game cause it would ruin his fun. Also also the eggs literally never ever have outside knowledge apart from richas and his separate identity so it doesn’t really add there either.

Tickets - Most custom tickets are on red apart from quackity who isn’t there because ElQuackity took his place and stole his ticket so how are we meant to know if Quackity is actually meant to be on green. Because the watcher would know if it was or wasn’t Quackity. I think he was just playing along with ElQuackitys game because he wants them to suffer. ElQuackity being in the green was probably a move to make it “fair game” or some bullshit or also to make him work with other outside knowledge people like Fit, antoine or kameto. Still doesn’t change that red have 2 out of 3 known custom tickets (4 out of 5 in meta but yk). Also if they were meant to have custom tickets, Bagi would have had one because she’s had hers for like a month maybe, literally ever since she joined also carre would have to but they don’t so obviously they have to mean something.

The screen of people - this has happened before with foolish during the election arc. They had a screen of people who were connected to the feds by a direct way except foolish. Who at the end of the election arc only got a cucurucho task to arrest tazercraft which is just normal cucurucho things tbh; He wasn’t connected to them in away way we know of. Also I think the admins often put some relevant lore people to show that they are being watched and that the game maker has info because it wasn’t everyone on all teams on that screen just a select few people. Aside from that I think it was more to do with him watching the 3 groups on quesadilla like the fed, the order and the code revolution.

A little thing about the train - Out of everyone who came on train the only team to have all active members that played the event come through the train was red cause half of their players are missing. Both green and blue had members just show up at purgatory (ElQuackity, Mariana and Pac).
