🤔Do they consider “having a crush” and “being in love” different things? Where’s the line?

Very different things. A crush can happen just by glancing at someone on the street and seeing something about them--the way they smile, do a little dance in the car, an act of kindness for someone else. Being in love is something very different. It involves not just getting to know a person more, but intent. Love is a verb.

💖What’s the easiest part of love for them?

He grew up thinking that the choice of love was hard. That it was hard work every day. He got that from watching is parents. Then he fell in love with his best friend, and realized it was really easy, actually. of course, they weren't actually together. The hardest part was him hiding it.

#ffxiv #digital art #zenos yae galvus #venat #endwalker spoilers #will forever be fascinated with this man #look guys look- the literal embodiment of wol's wings of hope LOL (and me going hehe about that and footfalls)#the part of me that adores digging into the nuance of character writing (intentional or otherwise) is just latched onto zenos #and venat-- they cant just give us two characters who get really important 1v1 duels #and ask really important questions #and love the MC and are willing to risk themselves so unconditionally #and have them not live rent free in my brain #--and maybe this tiptoes into the realm of crack theory so beware there will be a lot past here--#but I cant help but think zenos is akin to an oracle or warrior of light but was tempered/corrupted by zodiark #or some strange happenstance of varis (who shares visual traits to golbez before 6.0 ever came out and the dark mana burst)#and carosa (who it seems zenos got his looks from- and he already looks like he has ties to venat and argos like minfillia does)#was he a result of the eternal chess match between the two parties' machinations? or just some strange twist of fate?#another day of him being “emet's successful experiment” (again- intentional or no) making me thonk #theres something so strange about the final days dreams and how dark aspected he is- that his void abilities are more tied to him tbh #yet his mannerisms beyond just what he's been through almost reminds me of light corruption and the uncanny calmness #we see in most beings associated with the light in any significant way and like second phase eden shiva #he almost has all the marks of someone who shouldve already had the echo or blessing of light but for one reason or another #was unable to hear hydaelyns call #of course it doesnt help i mentally associate him with connections to zero and how she was corrupted before she was even born #and durante- who states uncanny ability and connection with light and darkness and yet favors dark magic more #i simply live with the idea that zenos' soul was an eternally faithful companion to wol's and #this time the cardinal sin of separating the pair finally happened to rather dire consequences lmao

PLWEASE send them your questions not me JAJFHDSF #I thought it would be cool if macaque has two separate forms as a shadow and inside a mindscape. like I wanted his shadow form to reflect #him in his prime and then the mindscape form as what he looked like when he died. or a more vulnerable state at least #based on LBD appearing to MK as the ivory lady when she died in the S3 special. I don’t know exactly what it was but my first thought seein #the white void was she was appearing to MK in his mindscape to talk to him. so I built on that #I wanted to give him a more ‘Smokey’ look as a shadow just based on how he manipulates them in the show like in shadow play. I hope this #makes it look cool and immaterial. and then his mindscape form would be more battered up and tangible #the last couple images are chippers ideas though since they said the monkeys are drawn to MK when macaque is possessing him lol #and the fact that macaque doesn’t have any senses unless he’s possessing someone + literally sniffing out wukong in the scroll 🤨📸#I also have a vivid image of macaque moving from the mindscape to physical form like umm. kind of like when he passes the boundary between #physical and spirit/mind(?) it’s like the shadow covers him like ink. or pulling Saran Wrap over your face and it clings to your skin #so it kind of makes the shadow seem like a sort of shell or covering.. and I love the idea of MK meeting macaque in the mindscape for the #first time too. like the moment mac rescues him from LBD and MK sees him all battered and tired looking brooooooo #I’m not even sure if that would count as a mindscape but it rattles around in my brain like loose marbles #god I fucking love this au. gives me imagination fuel swear to god #my art #doodles #lmk #Lego Monkie kid #Monkie kid #lmk au #re-bound!au #rebound au #lmk sun wukong #lmk swk #lmk macaque #lmk six eared macaque #lmk mk #lmk xiaotian

I think Mihawk and Garp would have the best relationship

In that I think Garp goes out of his way to relentlessly troll Mihawk by being stubbornly, purposefully, inept about the most mundane things while Mihawk, who knows exactly what he is doing and that he is being set up but ugghhhhhh, hates him on a level yet undiscovered by science.

He only gives the most tiniest of reactions to Garp’s ineptness, a brow furrowing a frown becoming deeper the tiniest twitch of an eye but Garp sees it, he knows that he’s succeeded and Mihawk hates him for it

Mihawk and Garp sitting at opposite ends of the giant ass warlord meeting table locked in an intense mental chess match unbeknownst to everyone in the room. Garp keeps waging psychological warfare on Mihawk by eating the pieces, everyone but him is extremely thrown when Mihawk unsheathes Yoru and lunges at Garp, who laughs manically, without warning

Mihawk tries to get some sympathy from Shanks but Shanks’ has found Garp and his shenanigans hilarious since he was five so he obviously thinks this is the best thing ever. It might also help that Mihawk tends to look like a puffed up pretty bird after every encounter with Garp but Shanks is just a man for Christ sake! he’s weak!

Answering for El because she's changed a lot and I need to get to know her all over again:

❓Have they ever questioned the idea of what “love” is? Where did it lead them?

Ask her "what is love?" and she will sing "baby don't hurt me, no more." She has not seriously thought about the question. It's something she feels for her family, and hasn't given it any consideration beyond that. If you really pressed her to give an answer on what romantic love is, she'd probably say something like:

1️⃣How do they feel about the concept of finding “The One”? Is it an aspiration or something they roll their eyes at?

So rolling her eyes. Rolling them so hard they fall out and roll on the floor. "The one"/"true love" is something for movies and even then she thinks it ruins them. Sure, people can make life together work through mutual respect and work. But soulmates? Nah.

💒Is marriage an important consideration for them? Out of choice, necessity, social pressure?

Not at all. She cringes at the thought. Any distant relative mentions the word "marriage" in her vicinity and she visibly flinches. It doesn't help that she's very gay and very in denial.

Okay, so that involuntary depression riorgail arranged marriage fic I’ve been working on, right? Yeah, the first chapter is pretty much done. It needs heavy editing and I likely need to delete the hundred of times I say the same thing in a slightly different way, but writing wise, it’s pretty done. And it’s rather long (like 16k ish). Now, the question is… do I edit it and post it? Or do I wait until all of it is finished… how much do I trust myself?

I think it’s going to be three chapters in total but the next two are all vibes and weird sentences I’ve jotted down for now - and I’m very busy for the next couple of weeks, so the next installment is likely quite a few weeks away. But chapter one does end on a note that could have made it a complete work in and of itself, I think, and, like if anyone would actually want to read it, the encouragement for writing the last two chapters would be nice...

Decisions, decisions.
