I had a draft of about 5 of these results ready to go pre-face reveal but then everything went to shit so just for some closure here are the results (FROM SEPTEMBER!) ^_^

This chart shows the percentage of total respondents who indicated that they mained the people above. This isn't a comprehensive list, with other streamers like SBI, Benchtrio, or other DSMP-adjacent streamers rounding the answers out!

of the 598 people who filled out the survey, 98.5% main one of the people in the above chart, and 92.8% main one or more of the Dream Team.

From this question, it seems like DSMP creators are the main pipeline into dtblr—but a good 40% of us didn't start on the Dream Team side!

We have a good amount of people who came from the Corpse/OTV side of Twitch, and a decent amount of you who have been here a while, since SMPLive :]

A lot of us have been here a long time—66% of us were here before 2021. The vast majority have been here since 2021, a good 93% of us!

I thought it'd be super interesting to see how watching the Dream Team may have changed how we interact with their primary game, and it looks like a majority of us were crafters before and still are! They managed to get nearly a fifth of his audience here into playing as well!

A toast to the loss of most of dtblr's favorite MCC player to watch, something that we definitely mourned when we heard the news. But if you're looking for a new POV to watch, survey respondents put down a wide range of players—just outside these top 8 were Ranboo, Tubbo, Grian, Illumina, Purpled, and Hannah!

Another loss for 6% of dtblr with how this question aged, RIP Trust Issues :( But for the remaining 94% of us, our favorite Drusic is still on streaming platforms. Change my Clothes is only...500k listens away from 67 million listens on Spotify so 👀

Wow ok as this goes on I realize just how many chapters have ended over the last few months but a salute to the 26% of loreheads on dtblr! On to the next chapter :]

Now to a touchy subject...who's in the dteam privs? According to the survey responses, 39% of dtblr is in all three! Interestingly, there are more people who follow Dream's alt than his main. Fair enough, there are enough piss tweets on there to warrant unfollowing it!

Word of mouth and the YouTube algorithm seems to have been the best way for the dteam to get to us—interestingly enough, a good amount of people found out through either Heat Waves the song or through the fanfiction, ranging from it crashing ao3 to commentary YouTubers talking about it on their channels!

Now for some psychic damage, I'm seeing a lot more of RTAH posting on my dash nowadays but here's some solidarity for everyone who may have come from similar backgrounds ^_^

Now for some more history—a vast majority of us came from gaming content backgrounds, and nearly 17% of us were primarily mcyt enjoyers. Personal shoutout to Team Crafted viewers we're holding hands <3

Nearly half of dtblr doesn't consume much Minecraft content outside of the stuff our boys are in, though there's still a pretty large amount of people who watch other SMP's and keep up with the speedrunning scene!

This one is an ode to the lurkers who keep the economy strong—even now you guys are an essential part of dtblr! Same to the 30-40% of people who post the stuff for lurkers and other dtblr members to see. Everyone is important to keeping our little island afloat <3

Now onto Banter, most of dtblr doesn't make time for Banter Wednesdays, but if there's an interesting episode, it seems like the trio will capture our attention :]

Adding some literal variety to our results, I thought it'd be interesting to see what common variety games are our favorites! 95% of us would be tapped in wholeheartedly for Geoguessr or Jackbox streams. On the other hand, Fall Guys and Fortnite are in the middle of the pack, whereas it seems like FPS games are our mortal enemies—62% of us would tap out during Valorant while 46% wouldn't be paying attention to CS:GO.

Onto the topic of shipping, DNF steamrolled every other ship listed to have nearly 86% of responders saying they ship it. That lines up with the follow-up question, where nearly 90% of respondents either have experience with shipping RPF in the past, or have been caught up with DNFer supreme Dream's antics. Otherwise, there was a good distribution of love for most popular ships within DTQK+, with Karlnap, DNN, and Karlnapity leading the pack at around 25% each!

Ever wonder how dtblr is spread out across the globe because of the dash being dead at different times? Well, the vast majority of us are in North America and Europe, with 86% of us being between GMT +4 and GMT -4. Much like our streamers, though, a lot of us have fucked up sleep schedules so time zones aren't as much of an issue LMAO

Next up is a fairly simple one, I had another question that asked for gender but there was, as expected, a lot of variance and nuance that I couldn't fit into a neat graphic. But this one is a fairly simple one to graph so Well here's the 24/7 pride parade Dream mentioned coming in hot, with about 95% of us identifying as LGBT+ or questioning!

I wanted to test out my theory that GNF mains are also biased towards CS/Engineering fields, so I asked what people were studying! There's a pretty big bias towards the arts and humanities around here, but we also have just as many STEM people around, good on dtblr for academic diversity! As for my hypothesis, 22% of people who indicated they were George mains studied some form of CS/Engineering. George mains also made up 70% of all people who studied CS/Engineering. So cheers to my stem kid gnfers o/

Finally, I don't really know the best way to make a graphic for the favorite colors question, but just know that 50% of us chose either green or blue, and it was a near-even 25%-25% split. Great job dnfers, Dream would be proud <3

Sooooo if any of you were here in May 2022, I made this survey about relationship headcanons, like who do you see as [character]'s sibling/parent, what do you consider the relationship between [character] and [character] to be, etc.

And after closing it, I started working on a slideshow type thing to spread the answers. But there were a lot of answers and I was confused about whether to use precents or raw numbers so it all got a bit confusing and I decided to put it off.

not only was the streamer allegory not necessary (btw im not the og anon but he said it in the stream right after genloss, may 29th or 30th something like that), but the christian symolism just wasnt necessary either. it had nothing to do with the plot, just the stupid streamer allegory.

the christian symbolism thing has been so overdone and is so oversaturated at this point. i see christian (and its always christianity for some reason) symbolism fucking everywhere nowadays and its starting to piss me off. i saw someone claim that over the garden wall was a metaphor for like satan or something.

it really just wasnt necessary? and apparently gen 2 has even more of it so thats fun. i dont know why ranboo felt that the whole streamer allegory thing needed to be in genloss bc it just made it feel so tone deaf. he spent a fucking million dollars on genloss and then goes "but u guys are putting me on a pedestal and i dont like it :(" like shut up ur rich. he could never work or say anything again and be fine for the rest of his life.

also! as a gamedev i thought id say that ranboo has no fucking clue how to make a game! zero! the promotional game has already been reviewed by someone else, but basically its just a fnaf minigame with no unique twist on the art style whatsoever. the transitions were lazy as fuck and didnt even match the vibe of the game. the game also has nothing to do with genloss apart from the typical binary code dialogue. literally 6 words (the saviour, the taken, the villain) and also i think the starting room is all that game has in relation to genloss. the whole dumpster thing, the button, the glitches, it turning red, none of that was ever even mentioned in genloss. the whole game was pointless lmao.

i think i will simply die if i ever have to consider (poorly done) religious allegories in media again. that was such an insane move by them. streamer allegory was also such a choice.

Eggpire Finale Analysis

EGGPIRE FINAL ON 23RD 2PM EST

so many things to dissect!

Their will be 2 finale streams, one on the 23rd, and one on the 29th (could possibly change for the second one). This is also the last time we will see the Egg in season 1, implying that it will come back in some way in season 2.

2. The Egg is beatable.

3. that picture of the figure in the boat is probably not related to c!Ranboo or his limbo. At the end of the red banquet stream from Bad's pov, after the Eggpire members flee and split up, he gets in a boat to contemplate what he did.

Which means we are probably getting at least some information about what happened in the banquets aftermath and how they were treated by the rest of the server, or at least how the eggpire members managed to get out of the Egg's control and reintegrated themselves into society with seemingly little pushback, considering they nearly killed a good chunk of the server, and everyone would have found out about it. That is a much more likely explanation than Ranboo being revived or something, he's not a main part of Egg lore.

But if the ccs even remember that c!ranboo was at the banquet and they elaborate on what the fuck he was doing their, that'll be fine by me and like, the 3 other people who care about that mystery.

4. The first stream as bad said will be a "celebration, like a party but things will get interesting"... Do with that what you will. Honestly, I don't like a 'red banquet 2.0'. (No matter how much i'd desperately like to redo the first one because what the fuck was that ending) It wouldn't work for so many reasons, mainly the fact that the eggpire has been seemingly possessed for like a year now, and unless something super interesting happens, I don't want their to be another repeat of the red banquet.

I'm mostly just curious on if they will elaborate on A. How egg possession works in the first place, and what makes some people more resistant to it than others and how some people are able to snap out of the mind control for brief moments of time, B. Why c!Tommy & others were somehow fully immune to the egg that isn't just 'main character plot armour'

5. The schedule is, Puffy starts streaming, and at the end of her stream, the others start. I think this would be the lead up to the main first stream's 'party' but I could be wrong.

6. Ponk is doing an egg-related stream, and I don't know if this is the lore he hinted at before, or part of the egg-stream marathon, or right before it, but it's important.

7. their are 10 cast members plus some suprise cameos. The main cast in the finale will be: c!bad, c!puffy, c!cpk, c!ant, c!eryn, c!hannah, c!ponk, c!sam, and their are at least 3 unnamed people who will stream. Foolish might also appear if his schedule works out. To me the most interesting part of this is how c!Punz is specifically not listed. He may be just one of the unnamed people, or be one of the suprise cameos, but it really is interesting to me how he has already been left out of the Red Banquet. And now with this too, it just strikes me as not accidental.

FNAF Security Breach Ruin DLC Spoilers

(and yknow it's serious spoilers when I type it like that)

Okay so I was watching Ranboo's stream on FNAFSB Ruin a bit more (only got 2 hours, 36 mins, and 6 seconds into it currently), but they just did something oh-so cool & shocking

So I'm pretty sure many people who played (and many people who watched) know that there's a Monty Arcade

but when I was watching Ranboo, they also found Sun & Moon's arcade (which was sadly unplayable, but it makes sense that it isn't playable just bear with me), and Chica's arcade

And of course Ranboo, who was trying to get every bit of lore, decided to play Chica's Feeding Frenzy (which I believe the arcade was called?), and somehow beat it successfully first try (which I'm still shocked on)

For a second, it all seemed normal, and as if it was just a slight waste of time, until an item popped up on his screen:

Idk if any other youtuber (or just streamer or gamer) beat Ranboo to it, but I think Ranboo accidentally discovered what could possibly be a true ending!!!

Meaning, you'd have to (somehow) beat Monty's game perfectly, and most likely get entirely hole in one's (which I believe Ranboo could do, they straight up got hole in one twice, one as a jokingly "check this out" moment that led to a hole in one), and that also means there's an arcade for Roxanne too most likely. Who knows, maybe even one for Freddy too!!

So why does that make sense that Sun & Moon's (or Eclipse's, if you wanna) arcade didn't work? Because they're already fixed/cured

And I don't mean put back together, I just mean no longer attacking/violent

So Monty's arms/hands/claws (I assume that's what it'll be), Chica's voicebox, and Roxy's eyes (again, I assume that's what it'll be) may fix the three of em!!!

(Of course, if someone already figured that out & completely complete it, then that's cool, and congrats to them!!)

people used to call ranboo walmart technoblade when they are in fact opposites because ranboo first seems like your average chill, decently awkward guy, but as he gets more comfortable streaming and as i've started to watch more of him, i've started to see that he is in fact unhinged

conversely technoblade's content on youtube really pushed how overly competitive he was and showed off his dark sense of humor, combined with a thick layer of fake confidence, which could make him seem unhinged at times (cough cough the potato war) but as you watch more of him you start to see that he was just a nice, chill, decently awkward guy

Look. I know most of us have been feeling the Charlie Slimecicle drought after zero qsmp streams, and I’m right here missing him with you. However, we actually know the reason for his absence and, just maybe, see him on our screens once again.

Charlie is a central character in the horror production Generation Loss: The Social Experiments. It is a three-day-long live interactive experience on twitch created and hosted by his good friend Ranboo (tall guy with mask in the Sorry Boys videos). Think of it a kin to The Jerma985 Dollhouse streams but bigger and greater, said by Jerma himself. Along with Charlie and Ranboo, the cast features other creators such as Jerma985, Sneegsnag, and many more that have yet to be announced.

This has been Ranboo’s passion project for almost two years now, and it would mean so much to the cast, crew, and longtime fans as well if you chose to experience it live. It will be streamed on twitch.tv/ranboolive at 6 pm est on May 24, 26, and 28. Generation Loss is described as the biggest event in twitch history, so I hope to see you there ;)

C!tommy being so willing to let his life end after the discs were burned, broke me. This kid had lost all of his attachments throughout everything but he always had the discs to keep him going even when he didn’t physically have them. He lost his brother figure, his happiness, his motivation to go on, and now the only thing that kept him throughout all of this, the discs. He only has c!tubbo and cannot afford to live without him. He is willing to let himself be disintegrated, exploded, killed, just so tubbo and the of the SMP could LIVE to truely LIVE without fear of c!Dream or ANYONE else having god like powers.

That moment where c!tommy and c!tubbo sat on the bench and ctommy says, “There is no music left to play.” Made me break down. That would be his last sunset, his final day before his death day. He knew this and still carried on with the plans for the next day because he has nothing left in this world.

The fact that ctommy has a sort of addiction to invis potions because not being there made him feel truely happy for the first time since L’manberg is so sad. He resorted to drugs as a coping mechanism just is so telling of how he thinks he can’t be fixed. Him being happy because of drugs it’s heartbreaking. [START] [1/10] Hey guys, I wanted to talk about something here that has been weighing on my mind for quite a bit now. I talked about it on stream a little bit but I want to touch on it more here, please spread this message to other platforms as I am only putting it here because its easier for me to word my thoughts correctly here.

[2/10] Lately I have found myself in kind of a weird spot when it comes to my fanbase, I have seen stuff that I have tried again and again to stop yet people sadly dont seem to take my messages to heart when I tell them about my boundaries. I really do appreciate my fanbase and I know that most of you guys are absolutely great, and if you dont do any of the things im going to list then you just keep on being a good part of the community :D.

[3/10] Recently I have honestly been terrified.

[4/10] In case you didnt know I am a VERY anxious person, and whenever things and events keep on happening in regards to other creators and situations I keep on getting brought into it as an example. Whether it be people saying "Ranboo wouldnt do something like this" or "Ranboo did ????? so why cant this person do ?????". I ask you PLEASE to stop putting me on a high pedestal, as I am a person so thus I will make mistakes! And honestly I have been so scared, unnecessarily checking every single post that I make as well as not speaking about certain things because I am so scared of wording it wrong and making people upset because of the fact that I have an okay reputation. I am glad that you guys think of me as a good person, but consistently bringing me up and putting me above others because of what you think of me scares me so much because the higher you put me up the further I can fall.

[5/10] I am in no ways a perfect person. I have made mistakes and I have learned from those mistakes. Am I trying to not make mistakes? Yes. Will I make mistakes in the future? Absolutely. I am trying my hardest to be a good person but you guys have to understand that I am in no ways a perfect person, Im not even close. So PLEASE stop holding me to higher standards simply because I have not made a mistake yet because the more you do that the worse it will be WHEN I make a mistake.

[6/10] Now, this does NOT mean I am not okay with being educated/corrected. If I make a mistake I really do want you guys to inform me of what I did wrong and give me the opportunity to make it right! But this does NOT mean that I want you guys to put me under a microscope and try to find every little thing that I may do wrong because I am already putting myself under a microscope which has not been healthy for me as of late. So PLEASE stop bringing me up as an example of a "perfect cc" or an "unproblematic cc" because I know that if I get that label, the moment I mess up it will be much much worse.

[7/10] Am I a perfect person? NO. Am I trying to be a good person? Yes. I am trying to educate myself on issues as well as try and understand a lot of the troubles that many people go through in my fanbase to try and make the fanbase a better place, but if I am not allowed to be respectfully educated when I mess up then I am losing the ability to learn from my mistakes. I really do want to be a good person, but the stress of consistently trying to be perfect is really not healthy for me. Part of that does come from me however so I am trying to figure out how to manage that on my own, I mean I entered this situation having no idea how to handle a fanbase of any size and I have been learning as I go.

[8/10] Another thing that has been still happening which I have tried again and again to stop is people associating with me and then sending actual threats. Threats of any kind are NEVER okay with me. So if you want to associate any part of your profile pic, bio, etc. then PLEASE never do these kinds of things. Another thing is if you want to associate yourself with me, but get into an argument please try to do so respectfully! So please if you want to get into drama and you decide that you do not want to be respectful about it please do not associate your profile with me. However, I am completely okay with you guys calling out issues and being associated with me as long as you do so in a respectful and educated way! I encourage you guys to try and educate others, but please do it in a respectful way if possible! (I do understand that it may be hard to do it in a respectful manner in some cases, so if you do decide to act in that manner please do not associate your page with me as if enough people see the same common denominators in a profile they will give the fanbase a "toxic" label.)

[9/10] If it will actually make the community, situation, or heck even the world a better place then that is completely okay! But if it is just an insult or a threat that does not add to a discussion then please do not associate your profile with me as it makes me uncomfortable! I tried my best to word this in the way that I was thinking but I know that some things may have not been worded in the best way so I will clarify if needs be!

TLDR: I want to be able to continue to interact with my community, but sadly the stuff that I have seen in SOME (absolutely not all) areas has really rubbed me the wrong way. I really want this message to stick this time, I have tried again and again to establish these boundaries yet I continue to see more and more that just really breaks my heart. [END]
