Given I haven't fed anyone for a while I'm gonna dump old art that's floating around other places, I apologize if it kinda looks different from my current works--

I know a lot of you won't find the existence of twitter/X very fun and aren't willing to take a look into that... place, but this was a contribution for a twitter art project of redrawing the concept art to translate it organized by twitter user @PokeSuutamie!

Uh... something something Jun Magma session, something something "Don't cry, Satan ass, ok?" I have no excuse for this one.

A suspiciously smiling Emmet! I drew this after a mild discussion about various things with friends, I had fun going crazy with brushes without any particular expectation!

WIP! I got really into Mairimashita! Iruma-kun and had to port my favorite train men into the series somehow! I had fun with the symmetry tool here!

From an ex-tempore session where I drew outside and pasted it in the magma, two of my most beloved puyo puyo characters: Satan and Schezo! They're having their usual not very pleasant staredown! (the drawing is kind of incomplete since I was making sure only that they fit in the canvas, sorry)

I was gonna post this one alongside his twin, but alas I haven't found the motivation yet to design Depot Agent Levi... This, however, is Depot Agent Lucifer!! A young aspiring trainer who joined the battle facility to sharpen his combat abilities, which were already pretty good. He is a serious man who takes his pokémon battles to heart much like Emmet and enjoys opponents who have a well thought out strategy to fight him with! He works in the Singles Lines as a solo trainer and in the Multi Lines with his twin Levi!

From a meme edit I cannot bring myself to post outside of pride month that I kept seeing going around, Monochrome Railway bosses (Mono-)Ray and Ray(-Bus) (left and right respectively)!

It's unexpected but I accidentally somehow managed to unintentionally catch this when it published ajfbsnf

My things for this session are a long list so bear with it as we navigate through it all-

Certainly an unexpected passenger has come on board! Team Galactic's leader Cyrus has somehow boarded the battle subway?! It seems that this strangely colored Giratina with ... Is that subway boss Emmet? is keeping a close eye on some passengers inside of this train...

Oh no! VD!Emmet/Special Costume (Klinklang) Emmet's plush has fallen down! He doesn't seem too happy about it either, or maybe he's just very engrossed about the floor... Wonder what could have caused it to fall

Joining the Zoroark party is a definitely not foreign Zoroark by the name of Ray, pondering if he should really chime into the party itself or if he should just stay watching, as he tends to do...

And happy birthday Chemmet! VD!chemmet and Chatan have come to the party as guests (bringing the color teal randomly to this vastly pink expanse) and brought a cupcake to celebrate the fact that their little peer is now one year old! A birthday full of cuteness (and nondescript flavor cupcake)

"Oh? Hm? Why am I here you ask? Why wouldn't I be in this gathering, mortal? Did you perhaps want my blessing?"

It would seem that the starling of creativity has decided to drop by for no particular reason other than having otherworldly fun! Sporting perhaps a strange growth of hair compared to the last time he crossed into this realm (though that is a debatable topic), Ray welcomes any and all that try to strike a conversation with him for the sake of entertainment, after all, they have knowledge to share with the world

This time, he seems particularly to appreciate the presence of small chemmet to the side (thank you BK for the precious chemmets) for the time being

And of course, he also has an appreciation for the masculine beauty of... Ingöörija, the most cha cha cha man of the Pokémon world, since why shouldn't a starling appreciate a good work of art (yes Ray is speaking to thee Junya-sama, you know who you are and what you have done~)

Speaking of manly beauty here comes the lord of hell himself packing the sheer beauty of few others even among his kin, the monthly Satans, this time modeled after a specific quote that sone may understand the origin of, some may not, but to me it's funny all the same

This one goes specifically to the fellow Satan appreciator who is responsible for this quote (you know who you are) though any Satan enjoyers are free to bask in his glory, he's definitely one of my prettiest... Nay, the prettiest of them all for now

Upon seeing the pastel table and minty owner's (credits to the creators of whatever the hells the combo is supposed to be) I decided to make a little small present for the minty subway boss enjoying the presence of the table, hence my first crack at sketchless and lineless art and rendering with magma's convenient brush update, featuring cupcake that even chemmet seems excited to try out!

Yes, yes, I promise we're almost done...

Initial D featuring butlermas, Emmet is about to drift harder than the Origin Palkia/Dialga theme ever has (is this how Ingo got sent to Hisui?) And it doesn't seem like Ingo is fond of the lack of safe driving his brother seems to be doing... What kind of thrill must Emmet expect from racing with that car?

So spoke a brave sanctum knight with a pure heart that had the misfortune (?) of meeting a particularly teasing Inquisitor, Crick Wellsley makes a(n) (re?) appearance in free doodle magma as some mild expression and position practice as well as for the sake of riding a creative high I had this session (what was I on)

"The truth... lies in the Flame."

Accidental fire effect practice (?) with the Inquisitor Temenos Mistral, also dragged along to the expression practice, completing the two piece enactment of two of my favourite Octopath Traveler II quotes

Lastly, but not leastly! Wilhelm Von Clausewitz Halcyon HISUIMARU in person, staring up at the stars above with what seems to be the knowledge that good things await them in the future... Right?

That's all I had to showcase for the magma! Uh... Yes I drew a lot, thank you for sticking around, if you did!

November Magma "1st Anniversary" results!!

It's already been a year since I started running these monthly events, would you believe that!! For this special occassion we invited Pokémon characters for a big party in the Battle Subway, and it turned out fantastic!! Check it out!!

There are many cool references to our previous Magma events in these scenes! Can you spot them all? Two of the amazing backgrounds (the train entrance) contributed by @beastkonohaworld and the plushie showcase is by @fishmanfishman3 (on Twitter)! The other half of the event is under the cut!

This cute little guy @beastkonohaworld created has appeared in every single doodle session since the very beginning and has been bringing cheer and love for numerous artists and their works!! Likes and comments are always very much appreciated, but it's really something else when someone actually interacts with your art! Chemmet has given so much for us, so now it's his turn to receive all the love!

So much wonderful art here!! Some folks did something really cool and redrew their earliest Magma pieces here!! To see the improvement so concretely is very exciting and rewarding to see, you've all worked really hard on your art throughout the year!!

I am proud of these results, I'm proud of your hard work, and I'm proud to have been your monthly event host for 13 months straight! It has been quite the personal challenge but it has also been a great pleasure: seeing you all draw, connect, have fun and create amazing things together has very much been worth the effort!! Once again:

I've been thinking about it for a while, but the Mihoyo games fandoms are... Really less than courteous when it comes to spoilers.

I'm a loyal consumer of leaks myself, but I swear the fandom at large acts like everyone is - and not just is, but apparently should be.

There's been fanart in the HSR fandom regarding a certain character and a certain boss' relationship for weeks when not even the 3.1 main mission has touched upon it - because it comes from leaks regarding the future of the story. With the change in Genshin drip marketing schedule, it's quite literally impossible to find out who the new characters are officially because they're leaked at least a week prior and fanart (of course, untagged) starts flooding social media. There were also edits of the new 5.4 CGs everywhere as soon as the preload hit the servers, spoiling essentially everyone who wanted to wait for the version to, you know, actually be out.

Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but it makes for a very poor fandom experience when everyone acts like you're expected to follow leaks or you're the one responsible for getting things spoiled for you. It costs absolutely nothing to tag your leak-inspired or preload-datamined stuff as spoilers.

It is Mermay after all lol. But anyway!

Danny? Can't remember why he reincarnated, or quite how old he was when he died a second... third... fourth... however many times. He thinks he was an adult- or adult adjacent? But now he's not.

In fact? He's tiny, with pudgy little hands that press against glass and it's weird how he's somehow breathing in the liquid which is freezing. Which is what honestly drives him to hit it- and it shatters.

Which brings him to realize? He has no legs. None. Nadda. He's like, like some sort of seal-person, if they had stripes and spines and a too-long tail. And some medical equipment still attached that he practically rips away with a jolt of terror, even if he isn't sure why.

He's in a hall or room, with lots of other tubes, some empty but most... not. Most have things in them, things that look sort of like him but also not... He tears his gaze away from them, already knowing they're dead even before reading the terminated in front of them.

Oh. He has... information? Information in his head, downloaded into it almost like burning a CD. He's a clone. No, not a clone, it's something more like... a test tube baby? Three donors, though he isn't aware of what their names mean.

If it is names and not like, codenames or code words.

His movement is so very slow, it's obvious that while he's able to go on land he's very much not designed to do so. But eventually he makes it somewhere, not an exit but something he's so very happy to have not missed.

There's another alive person, labeled 1 instead of 9 and bigger than him but missing the spines he has. A sibling. A brother. And he's going to get the both of them out of here- there's water tunnels, he knows that, it's part of the information in his head.

.... Okay it's not fair that he has a scruff he can be grabbed by. Like that's so not fair. Look, they have to go that way if you want out, c'mon.

Extra Info? -Technically the merfolk of the world are more akin to selkies, able to take on a human form via shedding their skin -Danny & Match aren't aware of this, hence why they don't just start walking -Around 2/3 of the entire world is merpeople or other similar fantasy creatures -Yes, this is after the not-sidekicks break Superboy (#13) out & before the episode where he learns about Match
