Ik tdp fans are frothing at the mouth abt the possibility of Rayla and Callum having kids in the future but I wondered what she’d actually feel when that time came, so this is that

Graphic novels predictions/ideas

-Terry, Soren and Corvus looking for Parrow, maybe they get in trouble. I doubt they will catch Parrow in a graphic novel since it seems to be way too important not to show it in the main series

-Rayllum + Ruthari. Maybe Kim'dael coming back around the Silvergrove and them trying to take her down? Even if they don't. It would be a good callback to BMH and I really want to see Callum with his in laws and both couples working together (they are family).

-Callum connecting with arcanums. While they confirmed his archmage era is coming, I doubt he will have all the arcanums by S8 but I suppose he will connect with some off-screen. My guess is he will connect to the star and moon in the series and earth and sun in novels maybe?

-Rayllum wedding/proposal. We got a GN with them separating at the end I just think it would be cool if we got one of them marrying/proposing since they may be married by S8. This would be a best seller, c'mon. Maybe have them getting in trouble with an arcanum and the novel ending in this note!

-Whatever the fuck Claudia will be doing in the next 7 years.

-Ezran and his struggles building Evrkynd and Katolis

-Rayllum vacation. Literally just that, they need a vacation.

Uhhh so here’s Rayla overthinking shit after Callum was possessed in season 6?? I wrote this at a very late night/very early morning hour, so I’m gonna read it later and absolutely hate it but oh well. I had an idea while I was eating my yogurt.

The pearl was dangerous.

She knew that. He also knew that. Callum was possessed again, in the middle of the night, of course he knew that. Yet here it is, with him. Secured to mount alongside them.

Callum slept, the pearl not too far from his face.. He could very well fall under his control, Rayla thought. Aaravos could very easily kill the both of them in this instant, if he was so inclined to do so.

The thought lingered in Rayla’s head, not just now. The moment after he left her room declaring his decoy plan, an unsettling feeling wriggled its way into the back of her mind and remained. It repeated over and over again, persistent each moment.

He could be possessed now.

Aaravos could control Callum.

He could control him now.

Callum woke up, still his usual, dorky self. His eyes were still his, and his voice spoke with the usual resonance.

The ship was warmer, despite being frozen in place. Rayla’s back was turned to his.

What if he’s possessed right now?

Aaravos could be waiting for the perfect moment.

To kill me or him. It would be painfully easy right now.

To force me to kill him. That wouldn’t be easy.

She managed to pause the whirring of possibilities, allowing a moment to listen to him, if it truly was.

He was awake. Was it Callum? Or was it Aaravos?

It was him.

Callum shivered with the cold, covered in boards (since he firmly insisted that he was fine).

They shared a bedroll now, not taking too much convincing this time. They were closer now. Rayla lied awake, the whirring continuing. This much closer made it much easier to kill her, she thought. There were many ways. Assassin training did absolutely no help with those gruesome images and how they would play out.

If he wanted to do it, he would have already. Hopefully.

As much as I would be disappointed in not getting 3 more seasons of The Dragon Prince, I wouldn't actually mind in a way.

Now don't get me wrong, 3 more seasons would be amazing but I just don't think that is the best way to move forward with the story.

Aaravos will probably be gone as a villain after this season meaning back to the drawing board. I wouldn't fully trust that to translate well in the show though.

You know what could translate well? A comic book series with follow up.

I feel like if they go the ATLA or LOK route with having the comics that continue the book, instead of just prequels and bridges, that would be amazing. I think TDP has great storytelling but sometimes it suffers due to that 30 minute limit per and episode (ahem season 4).

Having a comic book series that continues the story, adding in a new villain, and allows us to see more lovey dovey moments between fan favorite ships (like Rayllum 😏) could work more in favor for both the creators and fans.

Anyways bottomline is arc 3 with more seasons or multiple comic books, I just want and hope for the story to continue in some type of way.
