Possession of Photographs-Child Sex Performance
In August 2023, a former Daytona Beach Police officer tried to withdraw his plea to possession of child sexual assault material, saying that his defense attorney had told him he would be sentenced to no more than five years.
But instead of five years, Brandon Michael Fox was sentenced to 25 years in state prison. And that's what his sentence will remain after Circuit Judge Elizabeth Blackburn denied Fox's request to withdraw his plea.
The hearing included testimony from Fox's former attorney Aaron Delgado. It also included testimony that Fox and his sister had discussed hiring a private investigator to tail a prosecutor and a police detective.
Fox had been with the Daytona Beach Police Department for two years before his arrest in April 2022. Investigators found about 100 images and videos of child sexual abuse material on his phone and said Fox also participated in an online chat room on Kik in which group members shared more than 3,800 illegal images.
Fox entered no contest pleas to 38 counts of possession of sexual performance by a child, each punishable by up to 15 years in prison. It was an open plea, but prosecutors agreed to waive a minimum sentence of 63 years. That gave the judge a wide sentencing range: from no jail time all the way to 570 years in prison.
Blackburn sentenced Fox on March 15, 2023 to the 25 years in prison followed by 45 years of sex offender probation. Fox must also register as a sex offender.
At the hearing Fox testified that Delgado had told him he would face no more than five years in prison if he entered the plea agreement.
During cross examination, Assistant State Attorney Mark Interlicchio asked Fox whether in court on January 18, 2023 when he accepted the plea agreement if he said he had been promised no more five years.
"You never mentioned … this promise of five years, none of that,” Interlicchio said. “I was under the impression that my attorney had my best interest,” Fox said.
Judge Blackburn then told Fox to answer the question. Interlicchio repeated the question and Fox said, “No, sir.”
During questioning by his new attorney, Asad Ali, Fox said that after the sentence Delgado told him, “Oh, I didn’t expect that to happen. ”
Delgado took the stand and testified that prosecutors had at one point offered Fox 15 years in prison and that he would have to register as a sex offender. Later they reached an agreement on an open plea with the state waiving the minimum guideline sentence.
Delgado repeatedly denied guaranteeing Fox at any time that the prison sentence would be no greater than five years. Ali did not cross-examine Delgado.
The judge said she reviewed the plea form with Fox at the January plea hearing and she read portions which stated that Fox agreed no one had promised him a specific sentence and that he understood the judge was not required to follow any state recommendation.
Blackburn said that Fox, who is serving his time at Columbia Correctional Institution in Lake City, “you are suffering the consequences of the sentence that was imposed.”
As the judge ruled, Fox lowered and shook his head.

Malaysia-based Graphjet Technology produces synthetic graphite and graphene from palm kernel shells that are recycled from palm oil facilities. By using biomass, Graphjet's technology can reduce the carbon footprint associated with graphite and graphene production by up to 83% while cutting costs by up to 80%, the company said in a June 17 investor presentation.
Graphjet expects its manufacturing plant in Malaysia to reach industrial scale in the third quarter of this year, with an annual production capacity of 3,000 metric tons of graphite. Capacity is expected to reach 13,000 t/y by the second half of 2026.
In April, the company announced plans to build a plant in the US that will produce another 10,000 t/y of graphite using feedstock from the Malaysia facility.
The company is focused on single-layer graphene and synthetic graphite for electric vehicle batteries, medical devices and home appliances. Graphjet began trading March 15 on the Nasdaq and has a $30 million offtake agreement with Toyoda Trike Inc., an electric-bicycle maker.
S&P Global Commodity Insights interviewed Aiden Lee Ping Wei, co-founder, CEO and CFO of Graphjet Technology, to discuss biomass-based graphite and its potential to shift the direction of the graphite industry. The following conversation has been edited for clarity and brevity.
S&P Global Commodity Insights: Please break down how you create synthetic graphite from feedstocks other than petroleum coke and coal tar pitch.
Aiden Lee Ping Wei: There are currently two different types of graphite in the industry. One is natural graphite from mines. [The other is] synthetic graphite, which can be produced from petroleum coke, needle coke or petroleum charcoal. We are a third type, which can be called a biomass-based synthetic graphite. Due to inconsistency problems with natural graphite, most EV battery producers are using a higher-grade artificial graphite. Our graphite solves the feedstock problem.
Our proprietary technologies and manufacturing process burn the biomass to make hard carbon, activate the carbon, so on and so forth, until you get graphite. Anything can burn into a carbon, but it depends on the consistency and the purity of the carbon. We burned corn starch, rubbish and plastics, and we chose the biomass waste palm kernel shells.
As a feedstock they are very consistent, very stable, and Malaysia is the second-largest palm oil producer, behind Indonesia. Every year, Malaysia has 5 million of palm kernel shell waste. Our conversion rate is a 3:1 ratio. We are talking about producing 10,000 tons of graphite, so we just need 30,000 tons of palm kernel shells.
How much will your graphite cost, and how does it compare with what is expected to hit the North American market?
We are burning biomass waste. The price is much more affordable compared to petroleum coke and needle coke. We are talking about $50 for a ton of palm kernel shells, although the price has increased since 2022. Some are selling for $50 to $100 per ton.
We are working with a few companies, a few universities, including MIT, on the verification and trial runs. Definitely, it would be equal or better quality than what is supplied on the market with a better-for-the-book cost, and [it would be] more sustainable.
Do you expect the overall synthetic graphite industry to shift toward more sustainable feedstock alternatives or recycling in the future? How can the industry decouple from China?
In terms of synthetic graphite, I don't think there will be a 100% shift to biomass graphite a company like ours because of the domination of China in North America and around the world. We are talking about a few million tons of production output from China. Looking at the graphite coming from us and other producers, in the next five to 10 years will only increase graphite output by up to 1 million or 2 million tons per year, and that is barely achievable without government and shareholder support.
In the near future, instead of using 100% of synthetic graphite made from petroleum coke, maybe EV battery-makers will replace 20% or 30% with biomass graphite to make them much more affordable.
How does your environmental footprint compare to traditional production processes for both synthetic and natural graphite, especially in energy use?
We are around 80% lower in CO2 emissions just due to the fewer processes and ingredients, and we're also planning to neutralize our carbon emission maybe in two or three years. And our suppliers of palm kernel shells must be in compliance with the  standards or other regulations around deforestation, forced labor and issues like that.

After Jimin's Promotions - My Thoughts
(Note: My thoughts were written down April 9, 2023.)
Post promotional thoughts
So once Jimin's FACE album was released on March 24, 2023, a surprising chain of events occurred in regard to who supported Jimin and who did not.  Based on past events, the company not fully supporting JM was not surprising. They always, in my opinion, seem to treat him with less action and assistance than they do some of the others. The surprise was how poorly they supported (and possibly sabotaged) his efforts. More surprises came from within the BTS group itself.
The company
JM only had 4 unique songs on the whole album (minus the hidden song). He did 2 videos & later told us that he had wanted to make it a visual album with videos for all songs. The company told him that was "unreasonable & impossible" yet after his album became a huge success - mostly because of the fans' organization and hard work, the company’s stock went up 15 points & other KPop companies also profited. Imagine if they had helped him more.  He broke records all over the world and is the first Korean soloist to hit and debut #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100. Both songs with videos were #1 in over 100 countries and in all major music markets.  They both also debuted on the Hot 100 chart. He was #2 on both of Billboard’s Global charts (w/ & w/o U.S.).  He won awards at all the major music shows so far, & has the highest number of albums sold in 24 hours for an Asian artist, etc. etc. etc.
The company didn’t even seem to put out celebratory posts or do the articles they seem to do for others when they’ve achieved less.  Their support for him is extremely underwhelming in spite of his huge efforts, popularity, & success.  His newness for doing an entire album project, his lack of direction & training (again), & his perfectionism may have delayed JMs album as well, which may have caused his promotional period to be extremely short compared to others (only about 2 weeks) & it may have caused some of the overlap I am bothered by. I am at least willing to consider this based on timeframes Jimin has mentioned.  In any case, the lack of support, as I've said, was not surprising but even more sad was the apparent sabotage the company appears to have intentionally inflicted on JM as well. More and more is coming to light and maybe in another post I will speak on that. If it is a business plan, it appears to be at JMs expense, and it is disappointing to discover and witness.
BTS
Another surprising lack of support came from his “soulmate” V.  V has not said a public word to Jimin about his album or achievements, which is not usual for him in my view. Even if he did it privately, I think it is bad optics for a public-facing career.  Others have noticed and are commenting on it too.  JM has set a high bar for those who follow, and since V lagged and did not put out his album, which is said to have been done a long while ago (Festa 2022), he now has the high bar to reach. His fault, not Jimin’s.  Lately, Vs actions have been giving me pause in regard to other things as well. Whatever the reason, Vs apparent neglect of manners and support do not look good on him. To be fair, I don’t know the actual circumstances and there is a possibility that V could have justification for his actions.  
JHope has come through with good support in spite of him continually stepping on JMs promotion and album period with the continual release of social media and collaboration projects.  Jin, who is in the military, even showed up.  Jin also commented online about Jimin’s BB#1 achievement in his own playful way, asking JM, "the chart topper", where his copy of the album was. JM told us that RM, who also stepped on JMs promotional time with a release, congratulated him privately by phone and publicly on social media, telling Jimin he was proud of him.  Suga hosted JM on Suchwita to help with promotions and referred to Jimin’s achievements in different conversations.
The one who surprised me the most in a positive way has been JK.  I have previously been underwhelmed with his public support & this time he went beyond my expectations of him. JK did very helpful & specific gestures during his Lives to support JM.* He also congratulated JM on social media for his 1st award & he popped in on several of JMs quick Lives during the promotional period. JK showed up at JMs practice to watch and encourage him.  He dedicated an entire Live to watch JMs SMF, Pt2 video and dance practice, LC dance practice, JMs Suchwita interview with Suga,  as well as a BTS compilation video focused on JM. JK said nice & supportive things about JM, his work, and his voice. JK also attended the dinner that they all supposedly showed up for after JMs music show performance.  I mean wow. (Suga mentioned that V had been at the dinner but wasn’t in the posted picture because he & JM had left already.  Something makes me wonder about Vs attendance with my comments in the above paragraph.)
Anyway, JKs support really helped soothe some of my resentment about how poorly the company promoted JM. I am not sure if he was inspired to do it because he realized the lack of effort the company was giving or because he was excited for JMs new venture and the desire for JMs hard work to be received well or whether he was excited that he would be able to spend more time soon with a less busy JM now that the project was being released or all three reasons combined. Either way, with JMs album release came an awakened and excited JK too.
It makes me smile that JM, as the hyung, went down this unfamiliar and difficult road first. And JK, now witnessing the extraordinary outcome of JMs hard work and the success he was achieving, likely felt encouraged and more informed about his own project that needed to get up and running. He likely learned a lot while watching or at least hearing JM tell him about the challenges, events, and achievements while going through the process.
Conclusion
Overall, in spite of the minimal promotional time and contributions, Jimin's album has been extremely successful - and continues to be. Jimin again shows that his hard work and determination can overcome the many challenges and disappointments he FACES. Although I hope his future efforts will come with fewer obstacles and greater support, Jimin has shown that, in spite of it all, he can still succeed, make an impact, and make his fans proud.

First of all, hiya! Thank you so much to everyone who has made this possible, it's like a dream come true to reach 100 followers and have so many people enjoy my work!! I love you all so much<3
For the time being, I'll be accepting normal requests as well, but they will be put off until the event is finished. So priority will be going to event asks!
Now onto the rules and explanation of the event!
Basic explanation: Send in a number (#) from 1-100 and a character, I will write either hc/smau/oneshot based on the dialogue prompt you chose!
Personalize it: You can ask for a certain genre on a prompt, (example prompt #14 but hurt/comfort, or prompt #34 fwb to lovers.) All gendered prompts can have the genders switched or neutralized based on request. If you have a preferred style (smau/headcannons/oneshot) feel free to request that as well!
Rules:
1. Please don't rush me! I'll try to turn them out as quick as I can well keeping the quality on the uphold.
2. One character and prompt per request! You can send in as many requests as you want, for example "Haruchiyo Sanzu for #46" or "Emma Sano for #97". Please keep the separate requests so I don't get overwhelmed. But you can request a character or prompt as many times as you'd like!
3. If you ask for smut, please be 18+ and feel comfortable confirming it if I do feel the need to ask. I will not be writing smut for/about minors, every character will be timeskip or aged up.
4. The requesting period will end in a week, on April 2nd 2022 at 11:59pm EST. After that I will no longer be taking requests for this event and any requests I get after that period will be deleted.

He is so preoccupied by the fact that they are no longer equals, because his identity is a REACTION to HERS.  to have no selfhood anymore because he can no longer claim to be her peer has BROKEN him.  LITERALLY THIS INTERIOR IS A PHYSICAL MANIFESTATION OF THE INSIDE OF HIS MIND. BRIGHT AND COLD AND BLUE AND PURPLE LIKE A BRUISE, WHEREAS HER TARDIS IS WARM YELLOWS AND GOLDS AND LIKE A BREATH OF LIFE.

So to jump off of a Tweet I made (I’m Ambs):

No but really. Indulge me for a moment.
The Master thinks of Tecteun’s discovery of the Timeless Child as a despicable disgusting thing; he’s too angry and hurt at the Doctor to consciously recognize that his disgust isn’t just at “everything I am is somehow because of you”--it’s ALSO at the fact that his best friend was killed over and over and experimented on as a child AS THE FOUNDATION OF AN ENTIRE CIVILIZATION. 
The civilization to which HE belongs, which HE always thought entitled him to something akin to godhood ( “I’m a Time Lord, I have that right,” said Simm Master, during Ten’s era).  Which, after absorbing the entire Matrix and all its knowledge, he is now aware is a GENOCIDAL LIE (“everything you know is a lie,” Spyfall Part 1).  Including his identity. Far more importantly, including HER identity. “Call me by my name,” he demanded of her, on her knees (because, Doctor, you have always defined me and you always will, and I’m learning that’s inescapable. I have no autonomy, control, or mastery, over anything). 
But the Master is nothing if not obsessive. He can’t let it go. He can’t accept this: especially after having been Missy in the Vault for 70 years, trying to placate the Doctor by “turning good,” and ending up killing and being killed by herself as thanks for it. So he’s off to work. First the Spyfall plot, including the encoded message (”why should I make it easy for you? It wasn’t for me”): that falls through quickly, and gives him 77 years among the worst pockets of humanity and human history, more pain and resentment in which to marinate. 
 Next, he absorbs the Cyberium and creates the Cyber Masters (the corpses of the Time Council and Lords, who have KNOWINGLY reaped the benefits of genocide, mutilated into Cybermen with the Doctor’s DNA).  This is all mere ritual: he has no real desire to follow through with conquering the universe. He wants to die. He begs the Doctor to kill them both with the Death Particle. Then at last they’ll be equals again. She refuses, runs (because unlike him, she has other people to live for), and lets a human try to kill him instead. This won’t do.
So he escapes, and chooses to live a little longer. 
Now, in Power of the Doctor, he decides, okay, if I can’t just kill us all, this awful lie of a “great civilization” build on the predation of my childhood best friend, I’m going to make it so that this entire scenario never occurred to begin with. He drops the Doctor a hint--as one always does, in the best of cat and mouse games (though he has told us, now, in his deepest state of despair, “it isn’t a game”).  What’s the hint? 
“This is the end of your existence. You will be ERASED.”
It’s that word--erased--that draws ALL my attention. Someone on Twitter noticed that what the Doctor is standing inside, when we see her regeneration energy being activated, and hear her calling “YAZ,” looks an awful lot like a LOOM.
Why’s that important? Because looms synthesize Time Lord offspring using  genetic sequences. 
So logically, they can undo those genetic sequences too. 
What would happen if the Master robbed the Doctor of identity as completely as he has been robbed?  In his mind, what makes her special, deserving of adulation, is her capacity to be immortal.  He misses the idea that they are equals and foils.  If he can’t make them equal again with a simple double suicide,  then maybe he can extract the parts of her DNA that make her (in his mind) special.  
Maybe the scene that we THINK is Thirteen’s regeneration is just a loom the Master is using to remove her ability to regenerate, period.  And she’s screaming for Yaz because something has happened to Yaz, and if she can’t heal her with regeneration energy, Yaz will die.   
And maybe the Master is TAKING that ability from her, to BECOME, in his mind, a SUPERIOR DOCTOR. 
What if he’s found some way to prevent Tecteun from ever finding her--some causal chain of events that necessitates abducting earth seismologists and wiping certain famous earth artists from existence such that their paintings never existed (or maybe just the paintings, that’s not clear yet)? What if that’s why the Daleks were contacting the Doctor of all people for help--they are noticing parts of their history changing or going missing. 
What if the Master has been able to create a functional temporal paradox (this might explain the two earths and two TARDISes) so that he and his “children” the Cyber Masters can go on existing, but simultaneously, the Doctor and the other Time Lords never came into being? 
“You will be ERASED.”

Hi, we’re the Anti-Workshop, a worker-owned, union-represented cooperative. We operate a design and screen printing business that is democratically run through worker consensus. That means we decide when we work, for how long, what we do, how we do it and what is done with the product of our labor.
