SO fucking pleased with my on-a-whim stop at savers bc these are the sweet spot of classic/subdued/comfortable for the several twelve hour days i will be having for graduation. still need a blazer/cardigan situation, and would love a metallic or fun print since the dress itself is very plain, but it’s surprisingly hard to find a fun blazer/cardigan situation

Why don't accessible shoes ever look cool. Like why are we all limited to loafers and nurse's shoes. Why do all of the adaptive tennis shoes look Like That. Why hasn't anyone made BOOTS. Cute shit! Stuff that's actually in fun colours! Punk shit!! Why are the styles so limited and boring!!!

The universe tempted me and I was strong enough to resist!!!!
After seeing the Barbie movie we went shopping and the plus sized store that sells shoes my size had EMBROIDERED cowboy boots in black, light and dark brown, white and PASTEL PINK.
God I wanted them so bad but I didn't buy them.

I understand why there's a big overlap between "orthotic shoes" and "wide shoes" but as someone with shitty but very narrow feet, it gets very tiring that every time I look at shoes my ads are inundated with "shoes for wide feet!"
Like no. This is the opposite of what I need. I do not need your stupid extra wide zero fall no structure mary janes. I need a narrow high-arch deep heel cup shoe with a two inch Louis or wedge heel. Go away.
(High arches but too wide, or no arch but narrow, both make my problems worse, not better.)
And don't get me started on the stupid current fashion for block heels that actually widen towards the ground, are set back past the center of the heel, or otherwise just don't align correctly with the heelbone, it's fucking bullshit and I hate it.

Meet November’s custom, Brie! I was saving her to debut in December but this month got away from me so here she is!
Brie is a Gala Ghoulfriend Mouscedes (GG has a pearly sheen) and is the daughter of the Mouse King from the Nutcracker. I repainted her eyes to a rich brown but left the rest of her faceup as is. Her outfit was made by me using Requiemart’s ballet pattern. Mom had given me this cool sheer fabric with a gold design and I instantly knew it was for Brie! I originally tried doing the traditional tutu but I couldn’t get it to come out right so she has a separate tutu over a leotard. I actually found a use for the gold crochet trim I had been saving, there was just enough to do her sleeves!
I wanted to give her brown hair but I really hate re-rooting dolls so left her pink. Her hair is tied up with a matching gold ribbon:)
I added some sparkle to her top and gave her matching earrings. This small gold tiara was the perfect finishing touch!
I’m so happy with Brie, she went together so quickly and easily (even with the tutu fail). Hope you enjoy her as well!
