#silent hill 2 #james sunderland #hi lads. ohhh boy a lot happened since i was last here. crawling my way back to drawing #anyways whatever friend mim has been streaming sh2r recently and haha. hahaha. whahahahoohoohooooey #so far its lookin like. an entirely new game tbh. like nominally its sh2 but it's weaving in a Lot of other things that really isnt sh2 #i dont! hate that! and there are moments they put in that i genuinely love. the lamp swinging after a pyramid head encounter for example #but around this ive been thinking abt just like. the concept the idea of remakes and retellings for a horror piece #and like. you do get something from a story you tell again and again. and the way that movement's hollistic and total in a book #like. idk how to express this the entirety of a story will exist at the same time right? after the first time it's told #the chronology in the story doesn't map perfectly onto real life. the beginning and the end exist at the same time #so like that you can choose to be in the forest forever. anyways it's cool that james will never be able to leave silent hill <3 #no matter what ending you get at the end the next time you boot up the game there he'll be again in that wretched town :]#so the remake on purely a conceptual level tickles me like that. go there again. go to fucked up town maine USA ok. go there #anyways akira yamaoka's touchup of the soundtrack is fucking phenomenal regardless of the surrounding theme of laura II and #love psalm of eternal devotion have both ruined my life i NEED to play slitterhead so bad its not even funny

I think I finally cracked it. I think I have them all and they're almost all perfect and I won't have to do (as much) editing (as I did with the PS5-obtained ones)!

there were... a lot... of problems. some of them self-inflicted. but once it's done I'll be soooooooo happy. no promises on when because I still have to crop them all and make new menus for the armor blog. but. it's coming. promise.

#this gave me so many headaches (literal) and caused so many tears (ok not really but a little)#not helped by the fact that now the outfit satchel can't hold all possible outfits !!! >:[#i traveled all over the map like three times looking for the perfect spot. learned some things. started to hate photomode #(just kidding)#i'm not entirely happy with the sky behind her head but it might be possible to edit in some more cliff... we'll see #now i need to *not look at them* for a few days so i can recover lol #if i missed one i will curl into a pitiful little ball and sob. actually. for real.#horizon-armor

YOUR PART IN THE QSMP STORY ANIMATION WAS SO GOOD, OH MY GOODNESS. It took me a hot second to realize, but after that it was like, how could I have missed it? It was so obviously your art style, your version of Quackity, and it was so *good*.

It's amazing to see how much better your animation has gotten since the days of Your Obedient Servant and Tubbo and Quackity's 'don't trust anyone, not even me', but it's still so obviously your animation. It's just incredible.

All the kudos to you though. That was such a good MAP, and it was an incredibly pleasant surprise to see a familiar artist in the fray.

I just started playing Coral Island! Do any of y'all play? Any advice? So far it took me two in game days before I figured out that there is a map lol (I am not the most skilled at computer games)

#the person behind the yarn #I am so glad I found the map #I get so lost in games it is like my biggest gaming weakness #this is less bad than some other games because there's a fixed camera angle #if there is not a fixed camera angle (especially if you can point the POV camera in a different direction than the one you are moving)#I get SO LOST in games #like the last time I played a FPS was back in high school at a friend's house #and her little brother had to come rescue me in the game #because I managed to get the camera stuck pointing straight down and wander off the side of the map #and then I couldn't figure out what to do lol #I am not terrible at navigating in real life! just in games lol
