i think a lot about how Leo didn't use his cabin on the Argo II, and instead just always slept in the engine room or on deck (or let's be real, probably in the walls once or twice). And how Nico and Reyna never even got cabins on the Argo II, since they were unexpected passengers and so probably had to just sleep in the sickbay (if they slept at all, which they probably insisted they didn't need to - or fell asleep in odd spots around the ship) and so were forced to be roommates for a little bit before their quest, or shared a room with someone else on the ship.

Also ngl I kinda love the concept of Debling courting Penelope and Colin getting jealous because of it, not because I ship it (he’s barely a character) or because I’m part of the crowd that wants to see Colin ~suffer (though I’m not opposed to seeing him dramatically yearn), but because the reason Penelope specifically is going after this vegan man is so fascinating to me. Like, she obviously doesn’t love him. But she will marry him to protect LW… she’ll marry him to please Portia, that’s so funny.

Girl’s so desperate to escape her awful family life while at the same time keeping her secret, but she also wants her mother’s approval. And she’s so caught up in that toxic mindset that she completely misses the guy she’s been in love with since childhood making heart eyes at her from across the ballroom.

Pen only has her parents’ terrible marriage as a frame of reference, so she probably thinks it’s a bonus if her future husband is much older than her because that could make her a young widow. He’ll leave the country for the majority of the year to fuck off to Antarctica? Oh to be left alone by your own life partner!!!

Meanwhile Portia is enthusiastically nodding behind Penelope like yes, perhaps he’ll die at sea, and neither of them think there’s anything wrong with this outlook in life.

Misato and Shinji's relationship is probably my favorite in all of Eva and it is not talked about enough.

It's so fascinating, heartwarming and tragic. She gave him a surrogate mother figure who made him feel like family for the first time in his life and she got someone who loved her as more than an object. They were so close to helping eachother through the things that absolutely plauged their lives with this surrogate family relationship and it is utterly tragic how it all came crashing down because they didn't know how to navigate themselves through the horrible circumstances they were in at the end. God I wish more people talked about them without mischaracterizing them or boiling them down to memes. It pisses me off so much when that's the only thing people talk about with them.

Sometimes Michael thinks about the fact that his daughter will die before he does.

He knows that he will outlive Cassie and outlive Jeremy and everyone else he cares about. He hates to think about The fact that 1 day he will probably have to Bury his sweet little girl in the ground.

He doesn't try to think about it much because it gets him down.. Especially with Jeremy, because Jeremy is getting on in years there's and still has poor health after the bite

Funny how people defended Eden against 'bullying' during Eurovision, because Eden clearly can dish it as evident by her appearing in the Israel skit based on Eurovision 2024 where Israel mocks Marina, Bambie, Joost and Nemo, happily taking part in the mockery herself, but guess the poor 20 year old baby can't take it when thrown back at her during Eurovision where it's alleged she and the Israel team/press went after and harassed other performers and the teams/press from their countries.
