Overall thoughts: omg I loved this one!! My heart hurt so much for Lucy and even though I guessed the twist pretty early on (mostly because of the Robert Bloch writing credit — it’s a very Psycho-esque twist imo) I still enjoyed the Scooby Doo style unmasking of the killer. Also the daughter’s art studio was so effective as both visual interest and plot device, I thought that was so clever. It’s also kind of an invasion of the hagsploitation thing which is fun and ofc Joan Crawford is soooo good in this role

Did I enjoy it: Yes!

Would I recommend it: Yes!

Reminds me of: What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? (1962), Psycho (1960)

secondo a me hanno fatto proprio una cavolata a far fuori edoardo così. per quanto abbia sempre trovato il personaggio terrificante (per certi versi pure peggio dei peggiori, pur non essendo il peggiore nella sua totalità) era l'unico rimasto con un potenziale narrativo tra i personaggi originari + paolillo tra i pochi a saper recitare veramente. per carmine l'uscita di scena la capisco di più e anzi con tutto l'affetto per il personaggio e mi fa strano dirlo ma preferisco sia finita in quel modo, con edoardo potevano sbizzarrirsi di più visto che era dalla metà della terza che stava reggendo la serie ed era l'unico ad offrire una storyline almeno interessante. e la pseudo alleanza tra carmela e teresa una cosa totalmente irrealistica e anche io odio teresa, non è in character che lei rimanga a fare la detective tra i camorristi

Così vero anon. Ti dirò di più, non avrei sopportato se lo avessero fatto davvero cambiare da Teresa, almeno non così con uno schiocco di dita, perché è vero che c'è speranza per tutti ma in lui la mentalità del Sistema era veramente tanto radicata, quindi uscire dai giro per la pheega anche no, considerato che ormai non è più un bambino. Però dargli il tempo di sviluppare meglio qualcosa, magari riprendendo quel grigiore che si portava dietro dalla S1 (coff coff le poesie coff coff) e sballottarlo un po' di più di qua e di là per capire come si sarebbe comportato alla fine avrebbe avuto molto più senso della pala in testa per i soldi per scappare con la moglie e il figlio che improvvisamente odia (per me irrealistico anche questo, va bene che è orrendo ma nella mafia ci sono dei codici per ste cose, la famiglia prima di tutto).
