so that's what i've been working on for the past 2 weeks! i wanted to draw something for this intro ever since i first listened to it (as a companion piece to my other gur drawing, though it of course ended up being way bigger in scale), but it only really gripped me about halfway through PALISADE ep 18. the next morning after that i listened to this narration on repeat for about 45 minutes and then made a big sketch on 4 sheets of paper at my desk at work.

anyways, i haven't listened to the new episode yet but i think i'm probably ready for whatever they're gonna throw at us with the next sortie. i'm gonna believe, against it all, in millennium break. for gur

in lieu of having posted any writing/headcanons/asks in the past few days because i have been *so* busy and unable to do anything fandom-related which is terrible and evil, i have a poll out of morbid curiosity and self-indulgence. i've been meaning to ramble here about how i feel about DC's lack fo Deaf representation and which Batfam members i would personally make Deaf, but i am mildly curious about the larger opinion and now i will subject you all to the question, i would love to hear thoughts/opinions/headcanons on any specific choices. (would love d/Deaf/HoH opinions esp but i'm mostly expecting this to reach the hearing crowd, so opinions from hearing ppl are ones i'm very curious about. if you've never given it thought before you are going to now or else /lh)

never even noticed the comparison before but it is somewhat insane from a solavellan perspective how solas is maybe the only other (living) person who can understand the inquisitor's hardships irt being incorrectly mythologized as a godlike figure. i mean thats the crux of his entire arc lol ! solas swears up and down that hes not a god and look where that got him. the inquisitor swears up and down theyre not the herald and look where that got them. idk. its such an obvious comparison really but it never clicked until now. and like damb. talk about a freak well and truly matched

How I lay in bed knowing chase and carmen had the potential to be the FUNNIEST dynamic if they had more episodes teaming up.

Think like, the Egyptian caper but more and with less tense stakes and it really showcases how they are both hilariously different but also have tiny bits of similarities (impulsiveness, often get caught up in emotions) and aughhhhhhhh. How will I sleep having the best ideas ever;;;
