Grimmons HCs - General

Simmons is a picky eater due to texture issues and gives whatever he doesn’t like to Grif. If there’s something Simmons really likes, Grif pretends not to like it and gives it to Simmons.

Grif is a ‘pour cereal in a cup and ‘drinks’ it’ kind of snacker; Simmons hates it.

Grif can’t cook. Simmons can and is happy to cook for him, finding it relaxing. However, Grif can bake and bakes for Simmons in return.

Grif once baked a cake with ‘I’m sorry for making a mess :(‘ written on it and put it in the middle of their messy room.

Grif is a cat person because they’re less stressful to take care of than dogs. His cats use his stomach as a bed when he’s sitting or laying down.

Simmons is a dog person, and when Grif first gets them a cat, he’s like ‘you’re taking care of it yourself’. … Two months later, Simmons has turned into a cat dad and considers the cat his own son and spoiled him to no end.

Grif takes photos of them when Simmons isn’t looking. Some of his favorites are: Simmons with the cat on his shoulder as he’s cooking, Simmons fighting the cat over his glasses, Simmons reenacting Lion King with him.

Simmons takes photos too. His favorite is of Grif sleeping with the cat curled up on his stomach. It’s his phone wallpaper.

Their cat is an orange cat named Remington (or Orange according to Grif). Grif came home one day with the kitten and was like ‘it’s you’ to Simmons

Grif often shares his snacks with Remington. When he doesn’t, Remington will just take it out of his hand and run away.

So, I was thinking about Epsilon and Caboose and how Epsilon is so used to being abandoned that I just realized.

Caboose never left. He stays with him.

He stays with this supposed memory of his dead best friend, who, for all we know, is experiencing the worst time of his short life inside the unit, reliving memories of lives that aren't even his, and then that memory just hears someone talking to him.

Telling all these stories, treating him like another person, and always coming back.

And I can't help but feel that it was a grounding point for him, to be distracted by these stories instead of the painful memories that he'd soon repress until there was no other way than to remember.

Or I'm projecting.

Anyway, Caboose is awesome, Epsilon is my blorbo, and I am reaching hard to excuse my personal headcanons.

hi these are my headcanons of whether the reds and blues are in or out of armor more

sarge: obsessively always in armor, rarely takes off helmet as well

grif: would be out of armor all the time, but it takes a lot of work to put it on and take it off so in armor most the time. always taking off his helmet though

simmons: in armor a lot to follow protocol, (also kind of shy, likes how helmet shields his face) but takes it off when he needs to

donut: mostly out of armor. dont think this needs further explanation

lopez: is armor

church: in armor a lot because hes the leader and feels he should follow at least a little protocol, but not very strict and has his helmet off a lot

epsilon: can project himself to be in or out of armor but mostly shows himself in armor because everyone else is

caboose: in armor a lot, if ever out of armor he likes to still have his helmet on

tucker: in armor when he has to be, but constantly taking off his helmet (he has to show off his incredible good looks) (he also says the helmet ruins his hair)

tex: in armor 24/7 i dont think anyone has seen what she looks like besides church and the reds when they captured her in bgc (probably took off her helmet or something)

washington: in armor most all the time, but not obsessively like sarge is. follows protocol strictly though

carolina: nobody even saw her face until like the chorus trilogy (excluding wash he would have seen her out of armor in pfl at least once)

bitters has dyed hair headcanon but in the way that nobody knows where the fuck this kid is getting all this hair dye from in the middle of a war. where is it coming from? is he making it? did he find it? when does he even have the time to do? how does no one know?

Thanks to Emesis Blue; to me, BLU Soldier and RED Soldier are two completely different people.

BLU Soldier's name is John (Joe) Dane. He has a real name, and this is it. He actually went to WWII. His lead poisoning isn't nearly as bad as the RED Soldier's. He's that slightest amount more sane than RED Soldier. He still isn't that high up on the intelligence spectrum, but he at least knows how to identify boundaries (somewhat) and knows not to overstep them (again, somewhat. I wouldn't trust him with your keys.)

RED Soldier's name is Jane Doe. He based his name on Joe Dane's, but kinda just flipped around the letters. He thinks it's funny. Joe does not. He shares most of the canon universe's traits. He never fought in the war, but he sure thinks he did. His lead poisoning is so bad, no one knows how he's even alive.

Don't trust Jane Doe with your address, let alone your house keys. He will steal all of your food. He will find a way.

Washnut HCs - General

Donut LOVES to spoil Wash whenever he can in whatever way Wash will let him. Wash finds him company enjoyable when his PTSD is bothering him.

Donut always invites Wash to his daily wine and cheese hour, and he makes sure he has Wash’s favorites at all times.

The two of them also enjoy spa days or going for walks, just the two of them.

Wash knows Donut is a little gullible, and he hates when people try to trick him. 

Wash will be there to stop Donut for falling for anything. He will also be there to protect Donut in battle. He hates seeing Donut get hurt when he could protect him.

If there’s anything that Donut knows best, it’s self care, and he uses this knowledge to make sure Wash takes care of himself as well. Wash often forgets to take care of himself, it just slipping his mind.

Donut will massage any sore muscles that Wash has. He makes sure Wash is always well rest and remembers to eat.

Wash enjoys letting Donut wash his hair when they shower or takes baths together. He loves the feelings of Donut’s finger massaging his scalp, and he has fallen asleep because of it before.

Wash knows he relies on Donut much when it comes to basic needs. He really appreciates what Wash does for him, and he does everything he can to make his feelings known.

Donut is a little insecure even it comes to the large scar on the side of his face. He does his best not to let this shows, but Wash can tell. He wil always reassure Donut that he’s attacted with the scar when he notices that he’s feeling down about it.

Alright, I'm back in the stick figure hyperfixation and here's one thing. My hc's!

Purple's real name is Periwinkle. Green so far is the only one who knows his real name. He changed his name after his father left the family and his mother died afterwards. Walks with a limp thank to an old injury that didn't heal right.

Yellow and Blue are twins, best buds that almost do everything together and are the ones to end up in trouble.

Red is the youngest out of the color gang, though he's the strongest among his siblings. often spaces out sometimes.

Yellow has terrible eyesight and often gets headaches thanks to him trying to see. He once accidentally broke the pc thanks to his bad vision.

Green is the oldest among the color gang and the tallest, he likes to look around and observe before doing anything. Would love to go to an orchestra or a concert one day but for now he just settles with learning music his own way.

Orange (TSC) talks in his sleep and sometimes sleepwalks. There was once where he managed to sleep fight the others and won, the others still don't know how he did that, but they tried to keep his door closed so he doesn't wonder off, but he still somehow manages to get out.

Don’t mind me, I’m just thinking about Locus and his probable lost sense of self while working with Felix. And Felix taking advantage of that at every fucking turn, until he turned their relationship into something dark and malleable and entirely in his control. Locus thinking he still had some control until he’s forced to realize that he doesn’t. Not at all. And now he’s stuck with this monster of a man, but what does that even matter since he’s a monster, too? Is he even a person anymore, even human? He doesn’t know. He used to know, or thought he knew. But maybe he was never a person at all, maybe he was always a monster. And monsters don’t deserve remorse or forgiveness or respect. Or even a sense of self, a sense of identity outside of the mission they were paid to go out and accomplish. Do they?
