CALLING ALL BRENT CARVER OR MICHAEL J FOX FANS!!
I know, guys! There is MORE lost media.
#canada #cbcnews #canadianbroadcastingcorporation #lostmedia #justice #WeWantJusticeRightNow.
The Beachcombers was a 19 season long show, spanning from 1972 to 1990. Many people grew up with the show, but similar to many other CBC based projects and shows, it was lost due to poor care and treatment. This CBC-based loss disrespects Jackson Davies, Shirley Milliner, Reg Romero, Bruno Gerussi, Brent Carver, and Michael J. Fox, similar to their loss of Leo & Me (1976) and Witch of Westminster Crossing (1977) just to name more of their faults. The show was a gem for Canadian history and it was by far the longest running Canadian show. Many people loved the series, but are now unable to watch it due to the CBC's lack of care for the show. Many of the actors whom were in the show have since passed away or have gotten fairly ill, which adds much more salt to the wound. The CBC is ruining legacies and will not stop unless we make them. Sign this petition today to show that you care, both to the world and to the CBC. Sign for change, sign to help, sign for respect. Sign for whatever good cause you want to contribute to. We need help. We need it soon. Media-destroying events happen all the time, especially in Canada, such as wildfires and other catastrophic disasters. Any number of unstoppable things can happen, and the likeliness of the show being permanently destroyed is increasing by the minute. Justice for Brent Carver, justice for Michael J. Fox, justice for Jackson Davies, Justice for Reg Romero, justice for Bruno Gerussi, justice for Shirley Milliner, justice for Pat John, justice for Robert Clothier, justice for Rae Brown, justice for Joe Austin, Justice for Cameron Bancroft, just to name a small percentage of the innocent people affected. These people all deserve justice. One signature contributes massively to the cause. Help us make the change.
These people never deserved the loss and disrespect that the CBC brought them. The injustice was never mentioned in the fine lines of the papers they signed. They had no idea this would be brought unto them. Justice for The Beachcombers.

Dickheads of the Month: September 2021
As it seems that there are people who say or do things that are remarkably dickheaded yet somehow people try to make excuses for them or pretend it never happened, here is a collection of some of the dickheaded actions we saw in the month of September 2021 to make sure that they are never forgotten.
Isn’t it lucky that proven liar Boris Johnson didn't pledge in the Tory’s 2019 election manifesto that he wouldn’t raise national Insurance, nor would he break the triple lock on pensions.  Oh wait, he did promise those things, and broke both those pledges on the same day
...but don’t let John Rentoul see you call proven liar Alexander Boris De Pfeffel Johnson a liar, he absolutely won’t stand for it and will try and correct you by attempting to redefine what the word “liar” means
Remember, it isn't the Tory government who are at fault for the fuel shortage which is a result of dragging the UK out of the EU without considering obvious issues like this and believing that offering temporary visas that expire on Christmas Eve will sort everything, it's all the fault of Remainers or panicked motorists filling up because they heard there might be a fuel crisis
...which Nadine Dorries flat out said didn’t exist, even illustrating this with a car emoji, just as there were several mile long queues outside petrol stations with rapidly dwindling supplies
Opinionated thumb Joe Rogan got a taste of irony when, having spent months telling listeners of his podcast to not get the Covid vaccine, he announced he had Covid - and was still refusing to take the vaccine, as he was perfectly fine having ingested horse deworming pills
Snivelling little creep Gavin Williamson maintained it was perfectly safe to send children back to school because schools have a CO2 monitoring program - even though, at the time he said this, schools had not received their CO2 monitors and there is no guarantee at which point they will receive these CO2 monitors
Just when you thought the Tory government couldn’t get any worse, they go and appoint Liz Truss as Foreign Secretary and Nadine Dorries as Minister for Culture, Media & Sport that basically guarantees it can get worse because they have to do something in their new posts
...although this does beg a question about John Whittingdale and his statement that all public service broadcasters in the UK should only produce content which pushes “Britishness”, namely whether he made this demand the day before he got the boot in a last-ditch attempt to stay in his role, or whether there was no indication he’d get the boot and he said it because he wanted to.  Either way, the fact he didn't notice Derry Girls isn't an example of “Britishness” says so much
Where to begin: first we had Cristian Romero, Giovani Lo Celso, Emiliano Buenda and Emiliano Martinez ignore their respective clubs’ instructions about not travelling to red zone Brazil for an international match between Brazil and Argentina and instead hire a private jet to fly out there thinking nobody would notice they had played for their Premier League clubs a week before when the quarantine rules for Brazil state two weeks, when they arrived instead of being immediately told to return instead Jair Bolsonaro leaned on the Confederação Brasileira de Futebol to shrug their shoulders and ignore the country’s Covid regs (which he implemented, due to being president) which CONMEBOL agreed with, which then descended into farce due to Anvisa attempting to intervene before the match kicked off but, due to getting stuck in Sao Paulo traffic, arrived at the stadium after the match kicked off where, after a chat on the sidelines with Asociación del Fútbol Argentino representatives, they marched onto the pitch to halt the match and attempt to get to the four Argentine players who snuck into the country so they could deport them - only for the entire Argentine team to leave the pitch and lock themselves in their changing room
Waffling gargoyle Nigel Farage decided to stick his oar in about the withdrawal from Afghanistan by stating that the British forces did not leave equipment behind when they fled Dunkirk - which begs the question as to where the Nazis got those howitzers, tanks and Bedford trucks that were scattered around Dunkirk with nobody claiming them in the immediate aftermath for the British troops fleeing Dunkirk
The excuses that the Tories are coming up with for not wearing masks in Commons rapidly got obnoxious: first we had Sajid Javid say it's fine as they’re all friends who work together as if that somehow makes people immune from transmissible diseases, and then Jacob Rees Mogg said that Tories work harder so they shouldn’t have to wear masks as if that bears any relation to anything other than being a stuck-up cunt
There was nothing cowardly at all about Keir Starmer having his team respond to him being heckled about backtracking on raising the minimum wage brief the press by saying that, actually, the hecklers were mocking his mother who was in intensive care.  Nothing cowardly at all...
Useless waste of space Lindsay Hoyle decided to clamp down on the House of Commons’ biggest, most pressing issue: people wearing jeans.  Lying, on the other hand, is allowed to continue going on unchecked
It was completely and utterly normal that Oliver Kamm decided to write a Times article stating that the Young Labour movement are demanding a second holocaust, as if Young Labour is a cult and not what any Labour member under the age of 26 is part of, and certainly not in any way suspicious considering Young Labour have been told by David Evans they will not have allowed to host a Young labour conference this year for unspecified reasons - which is still better than anything they have got from unifying force Keir Starmer in the past year as he’s just pretended they don’t exist and ignored all emails
...and then Labour attempted to boot out Young Labour leader Jess Barnard for the crime of blocking TERFs on her personal Twitter feed, and when called out for it attempted to blame their disputes process as if they hadn’t tried to bar Young Labour from the conference
...soon followed by Labour having “issues with their disciplinary measures” due to how they kept on issuing threatening letters to members of their own party who don’t agree that Keir Starmer is so utterly wonderful in everything he does, letters which often are posted in the small hours and arrive the following morning
Something possessed Candice Owens to try and paint herself as the victim when a private facility where she booked her Covid vaccine told her to fuck off due to her spreading so much misinformation about both Covid and vaccinations for months on end and that she can go get her jab at Walgreens like the people she sells said misinformation to
Reading the room obviously isn't something John Gibson is particularly skilled with, judging by his decision to tweet about how marvelous Texas’ abortion legislation is - which saw Tripwire Interactive almost immediately lose business as a couple of devs terminated their contracts with Tripwire to publish their games in direct response to this, and Gibson was very swiftly out the door - especially because by that point people were starting to take a look at some of the lyrics of his Christian metal band, and there’s some doozies in there...
Freeze peach proponents GB News responded to Andrew Neil appearing on Question Time trying to claim that he had no idea that a “news” channel featuring the likes of Dan Wootoonn and Michelle Dewbury would turn into a bargain basement Fox News by showing how much they listen to and respect differing views: by permanently banning Neil from ever returning to the channel
Nobody has accused Jeremy Kyle of having much self-awareness, and he happily demonstrated why this is the case by whining to The Sun about how he’s been “silenced” ever since his nasty little TV show got cancelled due to being directly linked to one of the guests committing suicide, while also taking the time to say he’s been so silenced that the Murdoch-owned talkRADIO has brought him on as a host for one of their nasty little phone-in shows
Rabbit hole enthusiast James Melville is now getting to the point where he’s posting photos of century-old quarantine camps in Australia and telling his followers that they’re Covid concentration camps, which is so far out of the reach of “normal” I don’t know where to start
Snivelling little creep Gavin Williamson attempted to claim that he spoke with Marcus Rashford, then eventually had to backpaddle and admit that he actually spoke with Maro Itoje.  Now why would he have difficulty telling a footballer with a Mancunian accent and a rugby player with a London accent apart...?
There is nothing normal about MCU fanboys review bombing Dennis Villeneuve’s version of Dune before it's released just because he dared suggest that over a decade’s worth of Marvel Spam is not the pinnacle of culture of the entirety of Western civilisation
There is a time and a place for Karl Anderson to throw around his already tired WWE-bashing schtick, and in direct response to WWE introducing counselling for their employees independent contractors in the wake of Daffney’s suicide is neither the time nor the place to do so
In the mind of Dylan Viner it's “depressing” that there’s sufficient demand for a toy manufacture to make a play vlogger kit, because apparently that’s not a “real job” and how can your children prepare to be happy little drones to feed the economy without a Fisher Price McDonalds Drive Thru kit?

Critique#6 (partie 1): Luke Cage Saison 02
Tumblr media
Jamais aucune autre série (à ma connaissance) n'a aussi bien promulgué les trésors de la culture Afro-Américaine. En dehors de la musique, plusieurs noms vont être cités aux cours des deux saisons. Les "Classiques" : Crispus Attucks, Martin Luther King, Malcom X et Mohamed Ali; Les "Sportifs" : Mike Tyson, M.Jordan; K.C Jones (entraineur des Celtics Warriors), Cheryl Miller, Usain Bolt...;
=> https://lescritiquesheroiques.tumblr.com/post/175337772081/critique6-partie-2-top-des-s%C3%A9rie-marvel

UFC 221 Talking Points: Romero, Stylebender, Aussies and more | UFC &reg
UFC 221 was the most lucrative sporting event ever held in Perth Arena, and it was one of the most raucous crowds in any country in recent UFC event memory. Not only was the card packed with the crème de la crème of Aussie/Kiwi talent, but the fervent fan support seemed to drive the fighters as much as the fighting thrilled the fans. Add to it that the event began at 7:30am local time (to…

CHRIS WEIDMAN VS KELVIN GASTELUM Certainly, Chris Weidman wants a earn soon after a few consecutive losses, and it’s going to be a difficult task in opposition to mounting star Kelvin Gastelum, but I refuse to think the previous middleweight winner is on the down aspect of his vocation. Go again and view people a few fights in opposition to Luke Rockhold, Yoel Romero and Gegard Mousasi and then inform me if this is a fighter in drop, or a single who manufactured a pair of essential issues and also fell into some undesirable luck. Gastelum desires to keep that streak going however, and with all that on the line, it will make for some main occasion.
DENNIS BERMUDEZ VS DARREN ELKINS Dennis Bermudez and Darren Elkins are two wrestlers known for getting into dirty battles in the Octagon, people types exactly where the blood and spit are flying and exactly where each combatants know they’ve been in a struggle. Anticipate extra of the same Saturday, and though Bermudez will have the gain at property, who can pick in opposition to Elkins soon after his epic comeback earn above Mirsad Bektic in his most modern bout?
youtube
PATRICK CUMMINS VS GIAN VILLANTE Like Bermudez and Elkins, Pat Cummins and Gian Villante are rather old faculty when it will come to their strategy to MMA. Certainly, it’s a sporting occasion with policies and a referee and all that things, but it’s also a struggle, and neither gentle heavyweight is frightened of getting their hands soiled. So though on paper it’s a matchup of wrestler (Cummins) vs striker (Villante), there will be a issue exactly where sport options go out the window and these two throw down.
JIMMIE RIVERA VS THOMAS ALMEIDA Just one of the most powerful matchups on the card, this bout between Jimmie Rivera and Thomas Almeida will have a important effect on the bantamweight rankings, specially for New Jersey’s Rivera, who could put himself in the title picture if he secures his twentieth consecutive earn on Saturday. But he has under no circumstances faced an opponent in the Octagon with the firepower of Almeida, who can get correct again in the one hundred thirty five-pound blend with a victory above Rivera.
LYMAN Great VS ELIZEU ZALESKI DOS SANTOS It’s been two several years given that Lyman Good’s previous visual appeal in the Octagon, and intense Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos will likely remind him of that simple fact as before long as their bout starts. What comes about from there will be up to Great. Will he wilt less than the strain, make the Brazilian shell out for a mistake and go property early, or grit his teeth and crew up with his foe for a Combat of the Night? Whatever avenue he goes down, it must be enjoyable for the followers seeing.
RAFAEL NATAL VS ERYK ANDERS Rafael Natal hasn’t experienced an effortless highway getting to Saturday night time, as Eryk Anders is the third opponent scheduled to encounter “Sapo” at Nassau Coliseum. That can wreak havoc on a sport plan, but Natal is a veteran who must be in a position to adapt properly. But…is Anders the worst fashion matchup of the a few opponents as an intense finisher with ability and strain backing him up? We’ll obtain out shortly.
RYAN LAFLARE VS ALEX OLIVEIRA Ryan LaFlare and Alex Oliveira have very long been two fighters “on the verge” of big factors in the welterweight division. Effectively, gentlemen, Saturday night time is your night time to make that assertion and I think each fighters will be getting soon after it for a few rounds in Extensive Island simply because there’s no far better time than now to make that move at a hundred and seventy kilos.
DAMIAN GRABOWSKI VS CHASE SHERMAN It’s been feast of famine for heavyweight Chase Sherman in the Octagon so far, but soon after his earn above Rashad Coulter, factors are on the lookout up for “The Vanilla Gorilla.” On the other aspect, Poland’s Damian Grabowski has experienced very little but undesirable luck in his two UFC fights, building this a must earn if he desires to keep his goals of Octagon glory alive.
KYLE BOCHNIAK VS JEREMY KENNEDY Jeremy Kennedy is a single of Canada’s prime potential customers, and he has an chance to keep setting up that name in opposition to Kyle Bochniak. But Bochniak isn’t about to go away quietly, and the gritty New Englander may possibly surprise Kennedy if “JBC” isn’t completely ready for a 15-moment war.
BRIAN KELLEHER VS MARLON VERA Brian Kelleher manufactured rather an impression in his UFC debut, as he traveled to Brazil and completed prime 15 bantamweight contender Iuri Alcantara in much less than a spherical. Now he receives a property sport in Extensive Island, but if anyone is aware of how to spoil a homecoming, it’s Marlon Vera, who did just that in London in opposition to Brad Pickett earlier this yr. This is another bout with Combat of the Night probable.
TIM JOHNSON VS JUNIOR ALBINI Junior Albini arrives in the Octagon with eleven finishes in thirteen wins and a 9-struggle profitable streak, but you have to suppose that all goes out the window when struggling with an individual like Tim Johnson, a seasoned and rugged veteran who can acquire all of his opponent’s strengths and nullify them with his possess fashion. Albini may possibly be the genuine offer, but this is a difficult assignment for a UFC debut.
SHANE BURGOS VS GODOFREDO PEPEY Shane Burgos has amazed in his 1st two UFC bouts, and the stage is established for another powerful showing this weekend simply because if anyone is going to meet up with his aggression and action-packed fashion beautifully, it’s Brazilian vet Godofredo Pepey, who will do just about anything in his ability to nab another article-struggle reward in Burgos’ backyard.
FRANKIE PEREZ VS CHRIS WADE The opener between Frankie Perez and Chris Wade is a rematch of a 2014 Ring of Fight bout won by Wade by means of break up decision, and apparently each fighters have no situation punching each individual other in the encounter all over again this weekend. This is the great way to kick off the 1st UFC card in Extensive Island, simply because there will be warmth in this a single.

Witch of Westminster Crossing is a CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) production starring Michael J. Fox and Lois Maxwell. It was lost, similar to Leo and Me, another Michael J. Fox show (petition here). It was lost due to poor treatment and was squirreled away by higher-ups who believed the film to be a failure, though it certainly was not. The loss of this film disrespects both Maxwell and Fox simultaneously. It is stored in their archives warehouse unsafely, susceptible to wildfires, earthquakes, and any and all tape-destroying instances. This piece of media could be lost permanently, similar to Leo and Me, if action is not taken soon. Everyday, media-destroying events happen, and we can only do so much to save this beautiful piece of history. If the movie is permanently lost, there will be nothing left to do for it, and we will have officially left Michael J. Fox, Lois Maxwell, Jimmy Dougherty, Reg Romero, Hagen Beggs, and tens of other talented actors behind, no matter how undeserving they are of the betrayal.

Negligence—Duty of Care—Asbestos—Take-Home Exposure—California Supreme Court, reversing judgment of Court of Appeal in one case before it, vacating judgment of Court of Appeal in other case before it, and remanding both cases, held that duty of employers and premises owners to exercise ordinary care in use of asbestos includes preventing exposure to asbestos carried by bodies and clothing of on-site workers, that, when it is reasonably foreseeable that workers, their clothing, or personal effects will act as vectors carrying asbestos from premises to household members, employers have duty to take reasonable care to prevent this means of transmission, and that this duty’s applicability to premises owners who use asbestos on their property is subject to any exceptions and affirmative defenses generally applicable to premises owners, such as rules of contractor liability, when California Supreme Court found that each plaintiff who brought present two actions (now consolidated), and who subsequently died from effects of mesothelioma, caused by inhalation of asbestos fibers, was member of household in which another member was exposed to asbestos at work, that Supreme Court was tasked solely with deciding whether defendant employers had legal duty to…

Injury AOE/COE—Subcontractor’s Employee—Hirer’s Liability—Court of Appeal, affirming trial court’s grant of summary judgment against injured employee, held that, because injured employee, plaintiff, failed to present evidence that his employer’s hirer, defendant, affirmatively contributed to plaintiff’s injuries, there were no triable issues of material fact on plaintiff’s theory that one of two exceptions applied, retained control exception or nondelegable duty exception, to avoid general rule that employee of independent contractor may not recover tort damages for work-related injuries from contractor’s hirer, when Court of Appeal found that…
