This morning while I was packing my lunch in the kitchen, CZ started screaming and crying and I ran into the room because I thought he was hurt or scared, but he was physically fine, so I checked his food and water bowls (both full & fresh) and then he led me to the window and screamed louder and it turns out. He wanted me to open the window so he could chatter at and pretend to hunt the birds in the new bird feeder in the tree outside, and he wanted me to do it NOW.

On July 27, 1982, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS premiered off-Broadway at the Orpheum Theatre in New York City's East Village. Happy 42nd anniversary to this nostalgic classic. Photo: Will Roland (Dan Norman)

Remember how Mulder was thinking of peeing in the Tropicana bottle after drinking it all because he didn’t want to leave his spying spot, he’s my favorite little weirdo dude.
😭😭 he’s such a babe. that’s my Favorite sequence in arcadia. even before i got this episode, i loved that sequence. the way that his entire investigative strategy is just to fuck around and find out. the way that it’s also his entire strategy with scully. i’ve said this before, but sometimes mulder is annoying as a result, and sometimes he’s annoying as a goal. in arcadia, he had a goal.

i got sleep paralysis again the other night but instead of thinking someone was trying to kill me this time i perceived the being sitting on me as a nice guy, he just didn’t realize that i was there and that he was crushing me. he looked like this but with a longer head, more horns and just one eye, and seemed really sad, holding his head in his hands. in my mind the scenario was that he was sitting on a curb (that i was laying on i guess) hiding in a dark alley after something bad happened. so i wasn't scared of him i just felt bad for him. when i managed to get his attention he was apologetic and went away and my body started to wake up
shout out to the benevolent sleep paralysis demon hope things get better for u

i know karmaland had different server etiquette than dsmp and 2b2t but it is kinda funny that roier’s windows getting broken has him yelling like someone just dropped a nuke, meanwhile the window breaker is like “oh hey do you -- stop screaming -- do you have paper? i need to make a canvas”

Seeing & Being Seen
There’s just something about an OTP where BOTH people will throw a goddamn tantrum if the other half withholds their attention. They do this even well before they know how they actually feel.
Person A: *throws a bitchy little hissy fit, maybe with some blackmail or destruction or murder*
Person B: This blatant attempt to manipulate me isn’t just working, I find it downright charming too.
Tumblr media
Count on this man to react reasonably instead of escalating while internally chanting “look at me!”
Tumblr media
In this pairing the “reasonable, quiet one” commits a lot of relationship-adjacent arson. Ooh and he withholds attention and affection until his attention-whore partner escalates to ludicrous degrees. So sane! So healthy!
Not that Daniel and Armand were very different.
At least the two below don’t kill for each other… as much? But the tantrums and hissyfits are epic.

This guy started young and spiralled. Unfortunately for him, the other guy was a bit slow on the uptake. Just as violent and obsessive though!
Then there are the many normal sibling relationships with normal sibling boundaries and NO mummy or daddy or abandonment issues. These guys get and hold each other’s attention in VERY NORMAL WAYS like teasing, fighting about who’s the favourite child, lying, blackmail, theft, state secrets, torture, murder, dying, selling your soul and going to hell, actual kissing, heroic rescuing and frankly unseemly amounts of eye contact.

I’m sure there are way more. I didn’t even separate out the Hargreeve’s dynamics because damn.

dream logic is so funny because sometimes i'll be aware that i'm dreaming but still operate within the logic of the dream? for example i had this dream of like this bloodhound (apex legends) scp thing where part of bloodhounds SOUL or SOMETHING was a tree that had this disturbing face on it, switched between owl like and just .. distorted, and the tree killed people. and i was aware that i was dreaming, so i thought "OMG this bloodhound spooky concept is so cool i need to remember it when i wake up so i can write it and make it real!!!!"
problem is when i remembered it upon waking... i realised that's not that cool 😭 it's just kinda strange LMAO. dreams are so intense because you're living them and stuck in living them, trapped in your mind. this is frustrating because when i describe a nightmare or dream i had it may sound tame if you imagine it, because you can't emphasize the sheer feeling and immersion that goes into dreams.
an interesting thing that happens sometimes in my dreams, mostly nightmares, is that if something particularly disturbing is happening, it will become embedded in the fact of the dream that i'm in a game. either it begins as real life and fades into a game or it's a disturbingly realistic game from the start. this happens a lot with my zombie dreams. for example, i dreamt of playing cod zombies with my dad but it was first person. and not fps, i mean I Was In The Game. i feel my subconsious establishes the fact it is a game in the dream to protect me from feeling more fear, because i can respawn and even if it's scary and it hurts and i die, it's not really real. i think it's neat that my brain tries to protect me in this way.. the benefits of being a Gamer, i suppose.
so if you have nightmares... try gaming to the point where the mechanics embed themselves into your dreams! the positive ones, tho. lol

WOE! WISDOM UPON YE!
Did you know that when the concept of Prom was first invented, back in Ancient Greek times, it was named “Prom” to be short for “Prometheus’s Fucking Bodacious Dance”? This is because the way that the youth asked each other to dances was to scratch and claw out their friend’s liver, as a reference to the Greek myth of Prometheus getting his liver torn out by The Eagle every single day.
This practice been slowly dying out, due to it being stressful to plan ahead of time, since kids these days are fragile and make a big deal out of getting mauled. They are also too busy and don’t have time in their schedules to get their livers clawed out. The tradition came to a complete end when it was outlawed at our school in 2016.
Hope this helps!

A Comprehensive Guide to Making Your Home Locks More Secure
Tumblr media
In today’s world, ensuring the security of your home is of paramount importance. Your home is your sanctuary, where you and your loved ones should feel safe and protected at all times. One of the fundamental aspects of home security is the strength and reliability of your locks. By taking proactive steps to enhance the security of your locks, you can significantly reduce the risk of burglary and unauthorized entry. In this comprehensive guide, we will explore various strategies and techniques to make your home locks more secure.
Upgrade to High-Security Locks:
Traditional pin and tumbler locks are vulnerable to picking and bumping techniques used by intruders. Consider upgrading to high-security locks, such as smart locks or locks with advanced anti-pick and anti-bump features. These locks offer enhanced protection against unauthorized access and provide you with greater control over who can enter your home.
Reinforce Door Frames and Strike Plates:
Strengthening the door frames and strike plates of your exterior doors is essential for preventing forced entry. Install heavy-duty strike plates with longer screws to anchor them securely into the door frame. Additionally, consider reinforcing the doorjamb with metal or steel reinforcements to prevent it from being kicked in during a burglary attempt.
Install Deadbolts:
Deadbolts are one of the most effective deterrents against forced entry. Install deadbolt locks on all exterior doors, including front and back doors, as well as garage and patio doors. Opt for deadbolts with a minimum one-inch throw bolt and hardened steel inserts to resist drilling and sawing attacks.
Utilize Keyless Entry Systems:
Keyless entry systems offer convenience and security by eliminating the need for traditional keys. Consider installing electronic keypad locks or smart locks that allow you to enter your home using a unique PIN code or smartphone app. These systems also enable you to grant temporary access to trusted individuals, such as house guests or service providers, without the need for physical keys.
