This is the most compelled I've ever been by a love triangle and I'm not even rooting for any of the couples. Just rooting for the characters to be happy individually.

#senpai is an otokonoko #senpai wa otokonoko #it's so messy and interesting #we've got Aoi realizing she was actually less into Makoto and more into the idea of being in love. and distancing herself as a result.#we've got Ryuji being genuinely in love with Makoto for such a long time and just being so very afraid of rejection #and then there's Makoto who just wants to be as normal as possible while being a crossdresser #(and possibly non-binary or trans but we're nowhere near cracking that egg yet)#so thinking that this will make everything go back to normal Makoto tries to appease Ryuji by asking him out after he confesses his feelings #and those feelings are clearly one-sided so it's a terrible decision all around. but i get where it's coming from.#i just want all three to be friends again. they were so good as friends. please.

#loved this back up feature so much and seeing that bruce timm shit made me annoyed enough to actually transcribe it #first the way hes depicted as having to stand trial and ARGUE and fight for the rights of using the coin #rather than it just being a compulsion and something he must do before a decision....#like every time. every time when he's 'leaving it up to chance'—thats a time when harvey won. thats a time when harvey fought for the right #to use the coin and make it at least a 50/50 chance instead of 'crawling away until the hard part is done' like two face pushed for #every single time. regardless of the results regardless of knowing theres only a halfway chance of it actually achieving anything #or lessening the damage two face can/will do. every time hes fighting for and still believing in a fair trial and that everyone deserves on #it isnt him being weak. it isnt him avoiding responsibility. its him fighting and forcing and pushing for it as hes internally at war #with himself 24/7. even when two face wins he doesnt give up & continues to fight for what he believes in despite the injustice done to him #the way he tells Judge Janus that it isnt about HIM (himself!) while defending the right of existence to the jury of other societal rejects #the way he gestures to himself only at the very end. he asks the judge does that sound like anyone he knows and janus replies in two faces #voice but harvey keeps going. he keeps fighting for others. but at the end in actually acknowledging two face being part of him #(and by extension harvey being part of two face) and how harvey is fighting just as much to have a place as two face is #(but more within his own mind & upholding his belief system still despite knowing how it continues to fail them) and just FUCK #and two faces snaps! how theres no jurisprudence system above there either ! just no one will admit it!#how harvey knows!!! look what happened to him when he was doing the right thing!#look how many criminals and mob bosses paid their way out! look how the police are corrupt!#but still believing in it and how a system has to be in place despite being a direct victim of it as well and just GOD #I LOVE YOU GOOD HEARTED AND WANTING TO HELP PEOPLE HARVEY DENT YOU WILL ALWAYS BE FAMOUS TO ME !!!!!!!!#taking away how he genuinely wanted to help people and bring wrongs to rights takes away literally everything hes built on #it takes away the entire fucking tragedy of his character (and in many ways it changes how bruce himself operates and believes because #harvey WAS a good man doing everything by the books. he was trying to bring justice in the 'right way' and believed in the system. he was #what people tell bruce he should be and look where it got him. look how the system failed 'even the good ones' because the system itself is #corrupt. it isnt flawed—it was operated to oppress and thats why it cant just be fixed but must be entirely rebuilt and why bruce must #operate outside of it. it also gives more depth because harvey is one of batmans first and biggest failures. he didnt protect him.#he didnt save his parents as a helpless child (as bruce) but he couldn't save his parents as BATMAN.#it wasnt just random chance like his parents tragedy but this was calculated and something bruce didnt stop. its ALWAYS going to eat at #him if he could of prevented it by telling harvey his identity. by doing something different. by being more prepared or somehow #knowing it was going to happen. harvey is the face of tragedy in so many ways that cant fit in these messy rambly tags but its ALLL!!!!!!!#bc harv was (and still is despite it all! despite two face!) a good man!! because he originally was a glimmer of hope to bruce & the city!!

lesbian masterdoc and the unforgivable damage of making people hear compulsory heterosexuality and think of "can lesbians have crushes on men?" (no) instead of "are heterosexual women settling in unhappy marriages with men bellow their worth because of economic and social pressure?" (yes)

#not claiming the theory was without flaws but it sure didn't describe some virus mental affliction that exclusively plagues lesbians #for starters the theory was primarily about marriage. so it did recognise the historical fact of lesbians forced into marriage to avoid #honor killings and the still present possibility and threats especially when it comes to cults and strong religions #(once again mentioning as a Jeová's witness in a brazilian periphery my girlfriend accepted the tool of losing her entire family and social #circles to reject an arranged marriage at the age of 17. and she's bisexual. but THAT is what compulsory heterosexuality alludes to)#but more often than not when it addressed lesbians it was as the inherent threat they pose to heteropatriarchy #that they mere existence proved women were not all born to serve men. and that their lives often proved women are much happier and #accomplished when away from the burden of men.#and this acknowledging just how much loneliness was a reality through lesbian's experiences #at the same time I can understand the frustration of that feminist theory being reduced to 'comphet is when lesbians in high school were #pressured into picking one of the Backstreet Boys to lie about finding attractive'. and even more so when that non universal and much less #serious example somehow morphed into 'comphet is when bisexual women either lying or confused about being lesbians have sex with men and #find it unfulfilling' because accepting that narrative erases and harms lesbians #so I understand the 'comphet isn't real' posts especially because written like that it tends to refer to lesbian masterdoc and following #fiasco. but at the same time that wasn't the original intent of compulsory heterosexuality the actual feminist term #this is just me complaining about how social media butchers theory tho unless they are specifically naming Rich and the many other feminist #who wrote about heterosexual marriage as an institution I won't bother lesbians for venting frustration about neoliberal erasure of lesbian #the original theory sure didn't claim lesbians were immune to all this misogynistic violence but the term was never exclusively about them #and tended to ask more of 'where do we stand as women and feminists as a group much more interested in destroying heterosexual marriage than #simply making it more bearable?'#this got a little messy and senseless I'm tired #.txt

#thinkin too much about gortie side characters again.#sally this time and why she specifically talks about him the way she does #like dravo is obviously still shitty but to me he was. ‘just ‘neglectful #while sally actively hated and even felt terrorised by her own child #like. it’s not like i don’t understand her at all.#imagine you and your love don’t have much besides each other and your shop and you get pregnant and ready to raise a child #only for it to not be a child he didn’t and doesn’t cry ever and he learns everything so much sooner than most but then he never calls you #his parents and it’s not just a petty thing kids do sometimes you feel that he doesn’t see you as family and the worst part is that you #agree deep down #and as he gets older he doesn’t have any friends and actively rejects the notion of the entire concept #but then as time passes you hear about how he has entire groups of children following him and then several of them commit suicide #and that thing coming to sit with you and dravo at the dinner table says that he did what you did last week when the axe to chop wood broke #and you discarded it and got a new one #and he has these habits of ripping out flowers and making sure that they don’t regrow #and then you hear rumours about a friend’s daughter’s cat disappearing and think nothing of it #until you visit his tree house a month later and find a declawed cat and birds with clipped wings and crushed bugs that he keeps fondly #and then you see him with other children and they don’t know and his face is different and body language is entirely different #and were it not for the fact that you know better you would never see anything but a normal child #and you know that you are one who painstakingly brought this thing that should not be into the world and so you decide to end it all one da #and go to him as he’s asleep with the knife shaking in your hand #but he cries when you’re above him! screams at the top of his lungs!#so you beg for forgiveness even though you don’t deserve it through tears but as soon as the knife is put away you see the act drop and fee #his clever fingers having twisted your brain inside and out and you know that you can do nothing #and so the opportunity arises to at least remove him out of your life if not everyone’s lives and you take it immediately.#but you heard him talk. how he will close his fist around the world one day. and you know that it is not a matter of if but when.#like. imagine that. jesus dude.#like i hc her as someone that is messy and does not know a lot about life and she certainly wouldn’t have been a good mother but the love #or at least desire to love is there somewhere. and believing that having a child is really the only somewhat meaningful thing she can do #with her life. she’s not some hero or rich or anything of note. so there’s a lot obligation and not genuine desire for family here.#but she never really got the chance to be an actual mother in the first place so. who knows what that might have looked like

bro why the fuck is understanding my gender locked behind reckoning with my traumatic childhood and the de-gendering & social masculinization i went though due to poverty and having to turn to masculinity/male social systems due to being rejected from girlhood at a young age and needed a social systems to protect myself from the consequences of being an autistic traumatized gifted student.

My biggest quarrel with Holmes Canon chronology is that Sign of the Four does not FEEL like it's six or seven years after Study in Scarlet, and still less does it feel like it takes place after the various pre-marriage short stories. It has the vibes of Early Friendship about it too strongly.

Blatantly against Doyle's stated dates, I maintain in my head that SIGN takes place within a year of STUD, and Mary and Watson just have a very long engagement due to their mutual state of Absolutely No Money.

#i feel like everyone's entitled to at least one point where they just reject doyle's chronology #apart from the messy bits that lack internal consistency to start with #but really #you're telling me HOUN takes place a week after SIGN??? really?#i can't accept that #sherlock holmes
