I'm here for people that love and accept Louis Tomlinson.

I'm so tired of years and years and YEARS of bitching about management and labels and marketing and PR and stunts and bullshit. Not that we were wrong (though we were, a lot), I'm just tired and want a fun fandom around someone I think is worth paying attention to.

Louis is worth paying attention to. Talent, personality, charm, charisma, looks - he's got it all. Plus the biggest heart of anyone I've ever seen.

The rest is just noise and I'm tired of hearing it. So I'll be unfollowing folks that want to keep talking about it. Still love ya, just not interested in that. Please don't take it personally.

#i found a lot to like about khux in spite of its flaws #but khdr was a hard pass for me on the basis of it being less a game a more a shortcut to a dead phone battery #i am. shall we say. skeptical that this will be much different #even if it's clearly being developed with more intentionality #i haven't forgotten that gross statement that square's CEO released last year #about wanting players to ''play to contribute'' instead of for fun #if NFTs hadn't died a painful death already i would fully expect those statue things in the game to be crypto garbage

sonadow in prime is so much. i've been so overwhelmed by the finale that I just saw pics from s3ep1 where Shadow realizes that Tail intends to steal Sonic's energy and he make those expressions and I absolutely lost it again.

I've come to the conclusion that loving young royals doesn't mean I can't be critical about it, maybe especially bc I love the show so much I have such strong feelings about it, good and bad and I can love parts of canon and agree with it and appreciate it but I don't have to love it all. I have accepted that it's okay if I don't accept the ending and I don't have to force myself to support it. It's okay to not agree with all of canon and it's okay to not side with all of the creators' intentions/views. Loving a show doesn't mean you have to take everything the writers say on face value and that's the only version that is allowed to exist. Canon isn't everything and fandom is about curating your own experience that makes you happy and not miserable. You don't have to dismiss canon in every aspect and ignore it entirely, that's certainly not what I want but there is a fine line between being canon respectful, allowing some parts to exist and sometimes, yes, you just have to say "fuck canon" and move on for your own sanity and wellbeing

#especically in the first two weeks of a new release everyone is feelings lots of intense emotions ranging from ecstatic to angry #everything in between is a part of it and i know i'm also feeling very strongly about it right now #i always try to stay levelheaded and rational and see things from an objective pov and be diplomatic about discourse #i don't want any of what i say drift off too much into meaningless hate instead of the constructive criticism it's supposed to be #but when you feel so strongly about something and sometimes you really just wanna say yeah i fucking hate it lol #but i always try to explain why and give understandable arguments and not just blindly hate on something #for example - I'm aware there are fans who have some problems with s2 and don't love the season whereas i do and it's my fave #and there is a difference between expressing some criticism and justified concerns which you can understand where it comes from #and those who are just like 'oh it's a horrible season. it was so shitty and we should get rid of it' which is dumb hate and just not true #and i can't support people like that and take them seriously #i can have my own issues with s3 from a subjective pov which can also include some justified criticism as well #but also still acknowledge it as a truly good piece of tv media and the quality is top notch #and that's why you have such high expectations and have critique because it is so good and sets such a high standard #yrtalk #with that being said i understand ppl not wanting to see any critic about it if they are riding the high of happy wilmon endgame #but that doesn't mean that i can't express my own opinions on my own blog and i will continue to do so #and maybe one day i will feel differently and accept or even like the ending who knows #but it doesn't have to happen. it's fine if it does but it's also fine if it doesn't

i think he's a great mirror type character for the mc depending on how much you draw on the default ra-on and their characterization, but more specifically their feeling of inferiority to solomon (which i take for my mc loyal). both the mc and bael are stuck filling in for a role for a king that neither feels they're well equipped for or were even born to hold and the fact that bael's so used to taking the fall that he's automatically ready to do it for you too is just. man. orz

at this point its honestly kinda hilarious how secretive theyre being about sonic 3 . did anybody else see that picture of sega at licensing expo where they had a big poster for sonic 3 but it was those renders of team sonic from the second movie and that picture of shadows face from the post credits scene edited together on a simple background instead of anything new . lmao

the way hsr leakers are able to get their paws on concept art of all things is quite intriguing LMFAO

leaks of finished 3D models or even renders were common in genshin, but goddamn hsr leakers are even able to dig deeper and get concept art.

Tbh Dirge of Cerberus' actual gameplay isn't as bad as I was expecting it to be, like I'm almost 4 missions in and I still haven't died, but the gameplay getting interrupted every 5 minutes by some kind of micro cutscene is driving me up the wall. Did they really have to stop the action just to show a common model NPC walking out of scene. Was that 100% necessary

I don't think it deserves the super super low rankings it got #It's like a 6.5 or a 7 out of 10 so far tbh #One of my buddies said that it was one of those games where the hype made people expect too much #So people thought it was worse than it actually is #It's about as good as GG2 Overture and Overture got 7s and even a few 8 out of 10 rankings back at release #Though tbf FF7 basically changed the RPG genre forever and no one in the west knew wtf a Guilty Gear was when Overture dropped #Overture definitely had an advantage there. Dirge of Cerberus was NEVER going to live up to Final Fantasy 7's hype #Doomed right outta the gate. I hope the devs weren't too beat up about it

god i wish i liked totk so badly

#bwark #i feel like im too mean on it sometimes #i really hope it becomes like age of calamity was to me where i didn't like it on release but gave it another chance after a few years and #enjoyed it more the second time #and there are stuff where i fully agree it does better than botw!! namely the rito and gerudo sections and the finale #but everything else just didn't click with me at all #i think getting back on my revali kick (as i regularly do lmao) has gotten me to do some more thinking about where i stand on it now that #the dust has settled. im way less pissy about my disappointment with it than i was back at release. im just kinda. sad about it now #like i wanted to see what everyone else was seeing. i wanted to say that it deserved those 10/10 scores (and tbf i don't think botw was #deserving of 10/10 either. phenomenonal game that i absolutely adore but it's more like an 8.5)#but it just left me very. disappointed? confused? frustrated?#like i said gimme a few years and i'll gibe it another shot now that i know what to expect but that's where i'm at with it atm

Hello! It's been one year since I posted the first page of c2censuscomic (name...still pending) and since then ive made... 7 pages total. That being said! I'm proud of the pages I've made! It feels great to see a finished page after hours of drafting, linework, coloring etc. and I could see myself improving with each page. However, I started this comic very impulsively with a skeleton of an idea with very little direction. Every new page I had a new idea for the story going forward, which made me want to completely change pages that I had already posted. I still don't have a real draft for the story, so: I'm going to step back for awhile until I do.

When I begin posting this comic again, the updates will likely be larger and have more complete arcs so I can confidently go back and change stuff if I need to. That is, when I have the time to write out and draw a full color comic. Which will probably not be for awhile. Because I am entering my second year at college and I'll be pretty busy focusing on my studies.

But! I'm not going to stop drawing starbound oc comics! I'm just going to change my approach. While the story of the C2 Census is wildly incomplete, there are many more stories to be told with Thierri's Crew in more shortform, limited palette comics. And if all goes well I'm tentatively planning on starting up an askblog around December! I'm hoping that by making more regular comics and limiting the time I spend on them, I can improve my time management and speed/ease when making other comics.
