Remember her, as she cried on the bathroom floor because he cheated… again.

Remember her, when he said she was nothing without him.

Remember her, when he said no one would ever want her, that her and her son were too difficult.

Remember her, when he said she deserved it and it was all her fault.

Remember her, when he said she couldn’t leave because she’d have no place to go.

Remember her, when he slammed on the breaks going 80 on the highway because she was too quiet.

Remember her, when he pulled his gun on her after he took her out to the middle of nowhere.

Remember her, when he threw her into the cabinets breaking her watch then throwing it at her leg.

Remember her, when he found someone younger so he simply up and left her that day.

Remember her, when he told her she wasn’t aloud to move on.

Remember her, as he waited drunk on her porch till she got home.

Remember her, as she got the unknown/no caller id phone call, after phone call because he wasn’t letting her go.
