Me basically realising that the current RiverClan situation could be so interesting with both Tigerstar, Owlnose, and Splashtail as antagonists struggling for control over RiverClan while Tigerstar also has to deal with factions within his own Clan and a SkyClan-ThunderClan alliance who don’t trust him for meddling with RiverClan’s weak leadership, especially as Bramblestar grows older and weaker; but the Erins won’t do shit with it

Sometimes I log into my non-wrestling twitter account and stumble upon things that make me glad I’m no longer part of them or the discourse around them.

When I tell you the wrestling fandom is the least toxic fandom I’ve ever been part of, I’m being serious.

And considering all the drama and toxicity in this fandom that’s quite the feat lmao.

Guess I’m just smarter about shaping my online experience and letting things get to me these days.

Yeah uhh I feel like the major problem with Tubehell Challenge 'The Mimic' story is uhh fitting it in a small space. I can make The Storyteller more interesting, but because Andrea couldn't fill the space of a 19-20k story, I have only 16570 to work with, a lot of which can be cut out given it's mostly guff about nothing and Burrows talking about scuba diving with pretty models. There's 19207 words in The Mimic, a lot of which is loading chekov's gun they never fire and scrambling to make it 'scary' so... hm...

I can do it for sure, it's just a case of building Edwin, David and Mimic's relationships properly in a short time frame. I have some structure ideas that will help with that, and also gonna shimmy around which important parts are revealed in which story, so that should give me a lot more room to work in The Mimic, but also further limits The Storyteller so... hmmm... I'll know for sure how clever I'm going to have to be with screentime when I actually start it I think.

This post is just to say that this is going to be interesting to figure out lmao in case you were wondering how it was going

entering the kind of depression era wherein posts encouraging people to think of nice things in their lives make me start crying because i can't think of anything except for things that also just make me hate myself (ie: my family is very nice to me about how i'm too fucking useless to do my job or chores or errands or anything other than lay in bed). probably i will end up logging outta this blog if this continues for much longer because i don't really like who i am currently nor do i have the capacity to pretend to be anything else anymore and i'd prefer to post on this blog when i can actually, like, perform personhood adequately. if i do vanish in the coming days you can assume i'm taking a normal sabbatical unless papika or faewaren post that i'm dead/hospitalized/whatever. peace and love genuinely thanks for all the support ✌️💕👍

Haha I have been very lucky that for the most part people have been so kind and lovely and wonderful and supportive! ❤️ I did have one experience with an anon (On AO3 and on Tumblr) that wasn't very nice over the summer, but I know their anger was coming from a place of their own personal hurt. While I was upset in the moment I have some very lovely mutuals who were so kind and supportive and encouraging. These days I hope that user is doing better and that they have been able to find their own inner peace. My mom always says that "hurt people, hurt people" and I just really hope they are doing well and wish I could have helped in some way.

BUT I don't think it's a bad idea to remember that we are all doing this for FREE and for FUN and if you come across a fic that you don't agree with, are triggered by, or that contains content you don't enjoy, it is your responsibility as a reader to hit the back button and remove yourself from that situation, especially when tags are used appropriately as well as additional, more detailed warnings in the author's note. Everyone has different life experiences and something that might be triggering and upsetting to one person, could be a way to heal and process for someone else. One person's trauma and life experience is not more valid or more "correct" than someone else's and personally I find it really important that we treat everyone and their experiences with respect. If I'm upset or bothered by something, or even just that I don't really like, I know that I personally will go "hm this fic must not be for me" and then go and find one that is.
