Oh look what you made us do!

Hi!! Can you guess who we are??

Look at us in our Snake Queen Taylor and Bird Cage Taylor costumes (we picked those Taylors because they are so sassy and fun in the music video, it just made sense)! Our outfits are finally done!! I don't think we have ever put this much effort into anything in our life and I'm so happy it turned out so good 🙈🙈 Everything in those outfits is handmade (except for the shoes)! A total of 1 (shorter) red dress, 1 orange playsuit, 1 set of thigh highs, 1 set of golden gloves, 1 snake necklace, 1 snake bracelet, 1 spiked bracelet, and 7 snake rings! That we have been working on since January, where did those 4 months go??

I still can't believe we are finally seeing @taylorswift in concert after being fans of hers since Speak Now, it's a literal dream come true (are we really going to hear Taylor sing Long Live while we are in the same venue as her? Sounds fake but okay)! Being a Swiftie is a total rollercoaster of happiness and pride and to finally be able to see her live is mind blowing! It's also the main reason we decided to make costumes, like only swifties can! It's our first Taylor concert and we really wanted to go all out and have the best memories possible!

Okay so I'm having to jump offline again now and I'm not sure when I'll be back. Again please feel free to keep sending me updates on everything going on here! Also I'm totally going to do a write-up/review of the makeup in Miss Americana (y'all I'm BEYOND excited to see this gzgzzggzgdhdhdASYHSHSGZZG) and going forward, again once I've got Internet back, I want to do more writing posts. So first of all be warned that there may drop some random myterious short story pieces I've had drafted for a while, along with several additions to my "Chronic Illness Chronicles" and some important comments on some scary local and world events going on that need some signal boosting, etc. Plus I do want to do a weekly makeup discourse and then begin some.... drumroll please... Quest for Lover Fest™ series to prep for the Lover shows!!! (Definitely open to any and all suggestions for better names for the series. If you're wanting to get an idea what it would be about, check out my Rep Tour Prep™ series tag) all of this of course is admittedly very ambitious of me in my current state between my flaring, degrading health and everything (and PAIN especially) making it difficult for me to function at let alone actually write/ blog, so we will have to see what I'm able to do but these are my goals for this here blog right now and so I'm taking the temperature here to see what you all want/would like to see, so let me know! Remember #RepTourPrep?

So, I'm cleaning out my phone to make room and I've found that I've still got tons of pictures I meant to post from this series- so, I'm just going to quickly throw together a couple final posts here for more Reputation outfit/costume inspiration.

Revisiting nails, by request! I've found a few things to add and more ideas for nail art for the tour. First of all, let's address the news print looks:

@rmswiftie13 I hope what you were referring to were these kinds of looks where people did nails inspired by the Reputation cover. In the picture above, it looks like the artist used a tool with a very tiny tip and hand-painted the look. However I've got some tutorials on how to transfer actual news print onto nails, which you could use as a background and then add something Rep on top of.

I must say, I think it's rather fortuitous that "REPUTATION" has 10 letters....hmmm. 😊

Some other inspo I've found is various forms of art based on the snake theme, including the Gucci coral snake print that Taylor has rocked. Here's just a few ideas:

There's also tons of other ideas for snake themed nail art out there. Google is your friend on this one!

Finally, a couple more ideas I found- one is another way to do the newsprint one, perhaps by snipping out small bits and piecing them together like a collage. Then, there's Scrabble Tile nails, which could be absolutely adorable considering how much of a Scrabble enthusiast our girl is! The possibility of things you could spell out are endless....I'd love to hear your ideas!

Alright everyone, what do you think? What are you going to do for the tour? How about pedicures? There's always the option of various fun colors to do instead of art. The consensus seems to be that Rep colors are red, black, and white- but again I'd love more feedback! And stay tuned, more #RepTourPrep Series posts coming soon!

When it comes to glitter, there are lots of options out there. Loose glitter is abundant, so if you go with that you’ll need a good glitter primer such as the NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Glitter Primer, 0.33 Fluid Ounce- $6.00. This will help the glitter stick, so that maybe there’s not toomuch glitter on the floor after the party.

Hey Swifties! Quick Extra #RepTourPrep makeup tip!

Ulta is carrying some awesome rainbow and unicorn products right now, including a cute and affordable (Lottie brand) Mermaid/Rainbow highlighter, and their own Ulta Brand Glitter Gel Set and Unicorn Highlighter. I don't remember the exact prices but got to test them out and all are gorgeous😍

They also have a ton of holo themed items and festival crystals, glitter, etc!

Chicago Swifties!

Are you ready for Rep Tour @ Soldier Field?

I've put together some info for you guys including some updates on the regulations and will try to keep updating it as more info becomes available.

First of all, as you may know, parking could be an issue so make sure you head that way as early as you can. There's parking info on Soldier Field's website (https://soldierfield.net) And here's a handy (albeit blurry, I'm sorry) map of the area:

So next comes policies. There's been some confusion about the specific show policies and I'm still working on getting info; I've even called them and left a message so I'll post again as soon as I hear back. Here's what we have so far:

Standard policy info from Soldier Field to keep in mind (the Chicago Park District also has a code of conduct that applies that's pretty much what you would assume but check out their page if you're wondering):

General Stadium Prohibited Items:

#RepTourPrep Series 1:

Let's talk....nails! I love doing themed nail art. I've seen tons of really cool Reputation inspired nail art; as well as lots of colors that fit a theme etc. And then there's Taylor's beautiful, fun and bright multi-colored nails from the Delicate 2.0 video-

Some requests...

...and also fyi/update for anyone who likes my #RepTourPrep series- I'm going to try to post a new one tonight; after an extended post on nail art by request :) I'm not sure what topic to cover next!? There's outfits, which especially now that we know the rules* we can discuss ideas better, I'd really like to hear everyone's plans. There's so many directions to go on that subject (I was thinking of breaking it down by categories of costumes, women's/girls and men's/guys) and/but this is my first Taylor concert so feedback from pros who have gone to past shows would be awesome.

I'd also like to get general feedback from the Fandom on homemade/DIY outfits/shirts etc. Like is it a bad thing to do? How does Taylor feel about it, you know what I mean, if people DIY their own Taylor themed stuff instead of buying merch? Let me know please what the consensus is there or maybe even if she's spoken on it?

I'd also really like to hear from guy Swifties on what they wear/other things they may want to see posts on to prep for the concerts?

*And then regarding the rules. Does anyone know yet if the ones posted yesterday were venue specific or officially from Taylor's team for the whole tour? @taylornation ? If not, for starters does anyone have the updated rules for other stadiums like CenturyLink (@pinkunderlined I think a while ago you had a post of someone who had texted them about signs, do you know?), Soldier Field, @gillettestadium ? It would be good to know for sure. Maybe I can do a whole series on tour safety. Yes!

Okay so after some feedback I've got more inspiration to share. You could do a mix of a lot of things Reputation themed, and lyric themed! First there's easy snakeskin(YouTube tutorials are abundant for this)

And then there's lyric inspired. I'll list these out, and then if anyone wants picture examples lmk!

You could do an ombre blue-to-gold nail for "deep blue but you painted me golden"

Fire/flames for IDSB

Witch hat for IDSB

An American flag w/ a crown over it for "American Queen"

Red lips for several lyrics hehe

An Old Fashioned, or wine, etc

A car for Getaway Car

Speaking of cars, if you wanted to get really elaborate you could do a Range Rover/Jaguar...

Blue eyes for both/either "ocean blue eyes" or "oh, damn, never seen that color blue" or even just paint one nail blue

I'd love to see your take on affordable costumes! Personally I just want to wear my favorite pair of black skinny jeans and the green rep sweater from Taylor's merch, but I do not have $70 to just throw at hecka cute sweaters, sadly.

I’ll try to do something on that! Everything has been thrown for a loop right now as far as costumes/outfits, I’ll have to do some research and try to glean inspo from other Swifties (anyone that has ideas to submit please do!) So I’ll probably post about actual outfits like on the 4th or 5th part in the #RepTourPrep series.

So I dunno what to do yet for hair, nails, and makeup for the Taylor show. Like to give you an idea of how ~extra~ I am; for example, for the Ed concerts last year I did my nails with intricate art featuring: the Multiply, Plus, Divide, and No. 5 Collabs albums, a union jack flag, cat paw, "Ed" in the type writer font, and I can't remember what else but you get the point😂 And I think I previously posted a pic of how I did my eye makeup one of the days as a Divide symbol lol... for the Multiply tour I'd braided my hair into an "×" across the back of my head with green ribbon woven in. I mean, I didn't go crazy, I wore fairly simple outfits with these, I just love makeup and nail art and all those things so I love to take these opportunities to do fun themed things.

Now this is my first EVER Taylor concert after so many tries and fails, and after seeing some of the really creative things fans have done at past shows I'm inspired to go all out. I'm just not sure in what way yet, lol. My outfit now will probably be something simple, a Taylor tee with jeans or leggings and a jacket with *hopefully, if I can get them and in time* some Rep patches on it. And hair I'll probably wear wavy with a snake headband or something. But still no idea on nails or makeup. Sorry I'm totally rambling right now! Oh and I don't care if it's an older tradition, I'm totally going to write lyrics down my arm :) not sure what ones yet, we'll see! (Is anyone else going to do this?) But anywho that's part of why I'm doing the #RepTourPrep series, so we can all bounce ideas off each other etc. So again, hit me up with your feedback and ideas for things to post about!

One big thing I'd really really like is this- so I've seen/contributed to posts about "What to Expect" at an Ed Sheeran concert, you know, kind of a guide from old pros to first timers. So I'm wondering if anyone has one, or could make, a post of "What To Expect At A Taylor Swift Concert" for us first timers? I'd absolutely love that. Let me know!!!! Thanks!!!💖💖💖
