What happens when someone decides to bully Percy?
Does he stick up for himself? Does Thomas stick up for him?
Or does James come out of nowhere and beat the sh$& out of them?
Or all three?
How much trouble does it cause?
Percy has a tolerance meter. He will tolerate jabs and such until his patience with you runs out and he will snap at you. Usually whistling really loud and very high pitched. He can stand up for himself most of the time.
But if you say something that really cuts deep. Hits an insecurity or strikes a nerve so bad that he shuts down. You might as well have waged war with his entire family. Because they will all band together to get your ass.
Depending on the severity of hurt it can get quite troublesome. But nothing too too serious. At the end of the day STH will scold them for causing confusion and delay and causing shenanigans but he knows the others did it out of love for their family. So he’s never as mad as he should be.

Hey kid, chin up. The only thing I ever really wanted was to take care of my family, and I got that. Sure, I’ll miss a few things. But hey, they’ll probably miss me, so I’ll call it even.
HAHAHAHA HEY HEY HEY OKAY YOU CAN'T JUST POP IN AND DO THIS—
ALRIGHT crew take your positions we're rerouting the ship to pick up an old man before he does something irreversibly sad in the process of saving the universe /j

Headcanon for if (when? let’s be real, it’s when xD) I add Da Vinci Dalmatian to this blog:
Out of all the puppies, she and Dawkins have this whole Vitriolic Best Buds thing going on. On the one paw, she’s an artist and he’s a scientist, so they are at VERY opposite ends of the worldview spectrum on most subjects imaginable...
But on the other, as stated by the show’s director, out of the family both Da Vinci and Dawkins are on the autistic spectrum - which, despite their wildly differing worldviews and interests, gives them something of a mutual understanding that’s lacked by others in the family. It’s not unusual for the two of them to disagree on practically any and every subject under the sun... but still to see the other as their only sibling who truly 'gets’ them.
