You guys have no idea how much I love Black Noir.
His flashback was so heartbreaking. He wanted to be seen and recognized, but racism got in the way...
To be hurt like that, and get called a "freak" for being disabled after the attack/incident.
He's known for being violent, but he sounded like a nice man back then. I wonder how hard Vought was on him...
I'm not ok. I want to hug him and make him tea and lemon cake. 🙁

Today, on November 2nd, 1974 - Freddie Mercury interview
NEW MUSICAL EXPRESS
by Julie Webb relentlessly probes the cut and contour of Queen's Lead Trouser
The contents of Freddie Mercury`s pants are his alone. They belong to him and to no-one else.
Funny how times change. Seems like only yesterday that people were taking the mickey out of Queen. Of course, there were some who reckoned they had a genuine talent which would come to the fore, but for many they were merely a flash in the pan.
Two hit albums and two hit singles later, the band can afford a smirk at the expense of their journalistic detractors. This week Queen began their second major tour of Britain. Last time round they were just breaking “Seven Seas Of Rhye” – this time the new album “Sheer Heart Attack” will be featured, but strangely enough not their new single “Killer Queen,” since lead singer Freddie Mercury deems it “not necessary to add to what we are going to do on stage.”
It was Mercury, you may remember, who was so sublimey confident about the band`s chances of success – and he hasn`t changed. “Queen II” may have gone silver, but he reckons “it`ll go platinum” before long. Four months ago, you might have sneered – now it`s about time you listened.
The turning point for the band is really the new single. “A double A side, though no one seems to realise it because they keep playing `Killer Queen`,” interjects Mercury. It`s a turning point in that it sounds nothing like the noisy heavy metal sound to which we are accustomed from Queen, thus justifying their earlier claim of `versatility.` It`s more of a mixture of Beach Boys, early Beatles and 1920`s music-hall. Quaite naice, actually.
Says Mercury: “People are used to hard rock, energy music from Queen, yet with this single you almost expect Noel Coward to sing it. It`s one of those bowler hat, black suspender belt numbers – not that Noel Coward would wear that.”
And you?
“Oh no dear, just a nice little black number.”
It is apparent that success (in any shape or form) has not altered Mercury, who still insists on using the suffix “dear” at the end of many of his sentences. He is also still very much hung up on maintaining the `star` image.
For a start he never carries much money round with him. It`s not that he`s poverty-stricken or even mean – just that it`s difficult to keep cash in your shoes. A star to the last, he wears pocketless trousers and keeps his finances close to his feet.
“I hate pockets in trousers,” he stresses. “By the way, I do not wear a hose. My hose is my own. No coke bottle, nothing stuffed down there.”
Of course, Freddie.
However, sticking rigidly to the star image has its drawbacks. Satin trousers aren`t that durable (“I split a pair last week”) and velvet and sequins have a nasty habit of dulling in the rain. Still, they create the desired effect of getting people to stare. Mercury still adores the stares, of course – he`s insisted all along he`s a star and thinks he should dress accordingly. But for all the high camp, he`s got some grey matter in that head of his.
It was, after all, Mercury who wrote six of the thirteen cuts on the new album and being artistically inclined it was he who provided the idea for the album sleeve.
“God, the agony we went through to have the pictures taken, dear. Can you imagine trying to convince the others to cover themselves in Vaseline and then have a hose of water turned on them?”
Sheer agony, Freddie. The end result is four members of the band looking decidely unregal, tanned and healthy, and as drenched as if they`ve been sweating for a week.
“Everyone was expecting some sort of cover. A Queen III cover really, but this is completely new. It`s not that we`re changing altogether – it`s just a phase we are going through.”
But won`t Queen devotees be a trifle worried by this new image?
“They will love it. We`re still as poncy as ever. We`re still the dandies we started out to be. We`re just showing people we`re not merely a load of poofs, that we are capable of other things.”
The album, as detailed above, boasts 13 tracks – most of them a mere three minutes in length.
“Not a collection of singles, dear – although we might draw another one off later for a single. I`m not absolutely sure about that, though. No, not all the numbers last for ages. There were just so many songs we wanted to do. And it makes a change to have short numbers. It`s so varied that we were able to go to extremes. I only had about two weeks to write my songs so we`ve been working (expletive deleted) hard.”

Queen songs I'd put in Good Omens 2 if I was in charge (aka Queen songs that would be a great edit on YouTube)
Not including the very well-known and well-loved 'Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy' since I think everyone hopes to see that one—to my knowledge I don't think anyone has discussed the possibility of these ones.
The Great Pretender
A very Aziraphale song. I'd pair it with a scene where Aziraphale misses Crowley after rejecting him again - maybe post-1940's? Queen wasn't around then obviously but it would fit 🤷‍♀️ I just hope there isn't a breakup post-Apocolypse, I feel like we're passed that stage now. Maybe would have fitted better at some point in Season 1.
Too Much Love Will Kill You
Muriel or Gabriel (if he ever gets his memories back), possibly Aziraphale at a stretch. I'm picturing it with a lot of Heaven-or-Earth angst, struggling with a major change in worldview etc etc, maybe a stereotypical walk through busy streets in the rain.
Seven Seas of Rhye
EXCELLENT entrance music, maybe for Crowley or a big bad who wants to take over the world etc etc—Michael or Beelzebub, perhaps. I wouldn't go further than about a minute in, but the lyrics fit too well for me to leave it out.
Play The Game
Some kind of sweet moment between the Ineffable Husbands. I could see a scene where Muriel/Gabriel/Maggie/Nina are watching them and realise how much they mean to each other and in the case of Maggie or Nina, it maybe gives them the courage to stop holding back and stops playing hard-to-get. This would be a very very cute choice.
The Invisible Man
A big change from the previous one, but I could definitely picture Crowley getting up to mischief to this one and going unnoticed by everyone around him. I don't know if people are allowed to edit songs for TV, but if it's allowed I'd probably take out Freddie saying everyone's names since it wouldn't really make sense in a TV program. Maybe some clever cutting could fix that—cutting back and forth from Aziraphale doing something remarkably different with a classical music background would be hilarious.
The Show Must Go On
Definitely a 'moment where everyone gives up hope' kind of song, maybe over a montage, before someone figures something out or finds something that will fix their problems and give hope again.
I Want To Break Free
Definitely a much more popular song than most of the ones on this list, so it's very possible that this one has been discussed before, but I personally haven't seen it if it has. I think this one and 'Too Much Love Will Kill You' could be used interchangably to an extent.
Driven By You (technically just Brian May, but I say it counts)
An end credits/epilogue song if I've ever heard one. I'm still holding out hope that we'll see the South Downs cottage, so this would be a nice song to have with a moving-in scene or a settled-in-and-content scene. It would be lovely at any stage where the Ineffable Husbands are secure in their love for each other and just spending time being happy together and comfortable with 'their side'.

HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what are your favourite queen songs, and who's your favourite member?
I shall answer the second half of that first because it's a lot shorter and easier of an answer.
My favourite member of queen is deaky! On a more "whose songwriting do I like the most" basis, brian probably comes second.
As for favourite queen songs oh boy *deep breath*
The Prophet's Song, Dragon Attack, March Of The Black Queen, Nevermore, Was It All Worth It, Bohemian Rhapsody (of course), '39, Drowse, It's Late, Who Wants To Live Forever, Seven Seas Of Rhye, Long Away, The Fairy Feller's Master Stroke, Scandal, Liar, The Night Comes Down, Gimme The Prize, Stone Cold Crazy, Back Chat, Somebody To Love, Under Pressure, Cool Cat, The Show Must Go On, Dead On Time, These Are The Days Of Our Lives, Let Me Live, Too Much Love Will Kill You, Sheer Heart Attack, Rock It (Prime Jive), Keep Passing The Open Windows, Radio Ga Ga, I Want To Break Free, The Miracle, In The Lap Of The Gods, Some Day One Say
so uhhhmm, basically all of them. I'm indecisive. if asked for just one favourite, I'd either say The Prophet's Song or, if this is a normie who won't know that one, Who Wants To Live Forever because that's the one I have the biggest nostalgic connection to.

Fave Queen Songs Except Bohemian Rhapsody: Poll #B7
Good morning, everyone! (It's still morning here, anyway.) After I pitted "Sail Away Sweet Sister" against "Barcelona", it's time for the final Phase B poll. Choose wisely among these 70s hits!
"Killer Queen" (https://youtu.be/9K-Jmg93Xj8) previously won against "Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy" by 78.5%-21.5%.
"Somebody to Love" (https://youtu.be/kijpcUv-b8M) won a narrower, but still conclusive, victory over "Another One Bites the Dust" with 60.6%-39.4%.
"You're My Best Friend" (https://youtu.be/zCCtPr-0rbM) defeated "Seven Seas of Rhye" by 74.7% to 25.3%.

Broomskingdom manuscripts #3988
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~^^^^^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have been forced to document everything about Rhye Juno is the first sea of Rhye and the closest to Broomskingdom. It is generally very calmand no known sea creatures possess it. It is the safest out of the seven seas.
Oh, boy. Wait until they reach Calla.
-Maxwell Rollingham
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~^^^^^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It had been several hours into the conquest and everyone on the ship were bored out of their mind. Helly sat on the crow's nest, partly enjoying the slightly orange skies dotted with fluffy clouds and the sound of the small waves.
"Have you tried bonding with the others, Helly?" Posty asked as he nudged Helly.
"They're..." Helly started. "Intimidating."
"The two buff dudes are, but the lady..." Posty moved next to Helly and whilstled.
Amber did look stunning. Everything about her was made to be wife material. A kind, soft-spoken, and a great medic.
"She's pretty." Helly commented.
"I know!" Posty fawned, "She's everything I could ever ask for in a girl! Yet I got no chance with her, man. I'm just a mailman loathing my life!" he whined, hitting Helly's shoulder.
Helly watched as whiffs of Amber's blonde hair blew sweeped through.
"You're right, you fuck, she's not gonna like a short humanized version of a chihuahua." Helly chuckled, earning a slap on his face.
Posty huffed, his cheeks red. "I doubt she'd like a former drunk-"
"That became the queen's personal adviser-"
"Who is still a drunk with more manners-"
"Do you see me craving alcohol in this trip-"
Their feud was interrupted by the breaking of glass.
"There's whiskey in this boat!" Roy gleefully said as he dug in piles and piles of the precious liquid.
"Get me some of that, handsome." Amber chided as she walked up to the whiskey bottles.
"Oh, fuck yeah. My favorite." Helly said happily, standing up and leaving the crow's nest.
Posty was agape. "Drunkard." he muttered, smiling at Helly grabbing a whiskey bottle. He followed suite.
"I don't do alcohol." Poli sighed. He leaned against the mast of the boat, watching as everyone else chugged whiskey like they depended on it.
"Oh, it feel goods to drink again." Amber said.
"Don't leave me out!" Cap groaned. "I'm driving all of you to Rhye, I should atleast get a shot."
Helly and Amber continued to drink roughly, while Roy took soft sips. Posty walked up to the captain's deck.
"I got you." Posty asserted, shoving the tube of the whiskey bottle down Cap's throat.
Cap's frantic movements immediately pulled out the bottle, choking on the slightly bitter taste of the aged whiskey. "Fuck you, man!" he screamed, still coughing. Posty laughed.
---
Queen Jin sat atop her balcony.
"Max, will they possibly serve justice?" she asked.
"I'm very sure, your Majesty." Max answered suite, a smile on his face.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~^^^^^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
They're not living another day.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~^^^^^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I know they will, your Majesty."
---
The crew were drunk.
"Oh my God." Cap stifled.
