I'm thinking of making Devil Eyes Officer Y/N a smoker, not like a chain smoker, but one who had previously smoked before joining the police academy and had quit, and then once inflicted with Eclipse's torment, turned back to smoking as an unhealthy coping mechanism (this would also include, of course, Eclipse's reaction to such a thing (he does not like it)), but, I'm afraid this will be a turnoff?? for readers?? so let me just ask

the line “seeing you like this reminds me of my uncle” hit me so fucking hard because ayan is genuinely terrified that he’s going to lose akk. “don’t leave me too” when he can see how akk is literally breaking apart from all the pressure. the desperate need to make him stay, to keep him in his life because aye can’t go on without him. so he gives him the most precious thing he has because akk already has his heart and this is the next best thing.
