Every time there's a Culinary Crucible event in Twisted, I always end up thinking about it from the stuffing perspective of all the judges involved and how much they have to eat.

Like do they get excited? Dread? Are these known as battles in the dorms where they know they aren't going to fit in their pants by the time it's done. They have to judge for their grades just as much as the learning chefs have to so their grade depends on it. Some may try to game the system to try eat less, while some go full hog.

There's a lot to think about and I could write something but then I don't know who I should write it about or if I should attempt it about multiple people.

I'm kind of infuriated at the moment that the county court and district court don't share info. I was summoned by county court in April and excused due to disability (should be permanently) and now I've just been summoned AGAIN by the district court and have to get a new form filled out and mailed in so that I can again be excused, hopefully permanently, due to disability.

I'm not magically sane enough to serve on a district court when I wasn't sane enough for county court, jesus christ. The amount of anxiety this is causing is insane.

Saw an interview where Ronald mentioned being upset that so much of Ken's (Ron Song's) stuff was cut because he was so funny, and now I'm thinking about it, most of the stuff in the show was the white people, so this almost feels like a slight call out of racist choices in screen time.

But I still love this show and I love how it showed a good human being good.

I also hopes this reminds writers that they can make 100% pure individuals interesting. Most characters these days are morally grey or at least has some really irredeemable qualities that outweigh the good ones. I genuinely think this comes out of writers not knowing how to write interesting good characters, or maybe thinking purely good characters just aren't interesting.

Purely good characters can absolutely be interesting just as they are. Even without torturing them. And making that happen just feels like such a forgotten art form.
