When their s/o sitting on their lap in public.

The first time you sit on their lap they get extremely nervous and blushing. They look around them to see peoples reactions “What will they think? Is this really ok?” are their thoughts. Poor souls aren’t used to this kind of thing. They probably tell you it is inappropriate but they don’t have the heart to push you away, they love you too much for that. Where are they going to put their hands? On your shoulders? On your thighs? Around your belly? Or should they first ask for your permission to even touch you? Help them s/o!! Try not to do it around too many people or even in front of their friends/leader, they might die of embarrassment!

Even when you have done this a couple of times they are still blushing and are a little nervous, but now they can put their arms around you and be a little more confident.

These people LOVE it when you sit on their lap! You can do it whenever you want! When they sit and talk with their friends? Yes! While they are working? Of course! During the meetings? No problem! They will basically drag you to their lap and hold you with such pride and happiness. If you decide not to sit on their lap they might even look a little hurt and pout, but it gets over quickly.

If anyone questions it, they will be greatly offended. Like “How DARE you question us?” Is pretty much their reaction. (They might even start a fight, depending on who it is). They will continue to hold you anyway, it’s none of other people's business, they do as they want.

They get surprised at first and blushing, but they adapt pretty quickly. They don't mind at all, in fact they think it’s cute and nice that their s/o want to sit on their lap. It makes them feel happy that you trust them enough and want to protect you even more. It’s fine anytime, as long as it’s not in the way of work or during meetings. These people are pretty confident so they don't care what people think and say, what are they gonna do? Push you off? Then they must be very brave. However if their leader (if they have one) would tell them it’s inappropriate then they would simply tell s/o so, but if not then they would continue holding their s/o and looking at them with that loving and found smile of theirs.

“No dear s/o! No PDA, all cuddles and lap sitting is only for privacy!” They probably told you already from the start. If you decide to do it anyway, they will push you off and give you a glare that pretty much says “Not now. Later”. Teasing won't work either, sorry. BUT when it is finally just the two of you, they go all out! They hold you while they work, giving you a little peck sometimes. Putting you on their lap and might even feed you little sweets <3. If anyone disturb them while they have their bellowed alone time with s/o they will glare at however disturb them, still holding on tightly around their s/o. “Is it very important? Someone dying or what? No? If so, please leave”.

These people are most likely the ones who are sitting on YOUR lap. Don’t get me wrong, they LOVE it when you sit on their lap, but they prefer to be the little spoon and getting ALL their s/o attention. They don’t care if people stare, in fact they get a little cocky and get a confident/ego boost. “Yes this is my s/o, aren’t they amazing?! And only I get their attention. It’s fully understandable if you get jealous”. They would most likely be a little jealous if you pay your attention to someone else but them.

Oblivious (Benimaru [Tensei Shitara Slime datta ken] X Reader)

How about goblin!reader being courted by Benimaru but she's too oblivious to realize until Rimuru has to step in and spell it out to her.

“Go out with me”

“We’re already outside, Benimaru”

“I meant go on a date with me”

“But...aren’t dates food? And they’re too small for us to ride.”

Benimaru resisted the urge to slap his hand against his forehead in frustration at your sheer obliviousness of his attempts at courting you.

He’d tried everything already!

He went out of his way to hunt the best catch and offered the spoils to you as a way to show that he was capable of providing for you should you ever become his, but what did you do?

“I’m not the best when it comes to cooking game, but I’ll do my best! I mean, if you really want me to be the one to cook your catch then how can I refuse?”

You’d assumed that he was merely requesting you to prepare it, because he was a stupid coward who didn’t give any explanation and just dumped the carcass in front of you all of a sudden.

He warded off every other male who showed interest in you, even to the point of challenging them to fight him should they truly want a chance to court you as well. Most left without a fight, but the occasional idiot would come and he would relish in showing them their proper place.

Rather than see his actions as that of someone who wished to have you all to himself, once again your sheer obliviousness tested his patience and sanity.

“You don’t have to be jealous of anyone, Benimaru! No matter how many new friends I make, you’ll always be my favorite so you don’t have to fight anyone, okay?”

The redhead wasn’t subtle at all on his attempts to court you, because he found no reason to hide his desire for you. With their village almost completely eradicated and them being the last ones, it was imperative that he would one day have to settle down. Benimaru wasn’t ashamed to admit that you were the one he wanted as his bride.

Was it too much to ask for you to see him as more than just a friend?

Monster society was simple.

Should anyone want someone as their mate, they must show just two things: One, the ability to provide food for them, and Two, the strength or skill to protect them from anything.

Both of which he’d already showcased to you and yet their meanings seemed to simply fly over your head.

At this point everyone in Rimuru was aware of the equally hilarious and sad situation of the Kijin who fell in love and pined over the Goblin Princess.

In a last desperate attempt, Benimaru even went so far as to ask Lord Rimuru for advice and was told to ask you out on a ���date’ which was an outing between two people with romantic connotations according to him.

As expected however, the result was complete and utter failure.

The kijin scratched his head and just sighed, resigning himself to his hellish fate where the one he so desperately longed for was so near and yet at the same time so far out o his reach.

“Oi, (Name)! What Benimaru means is that he wants you to become his mate!” crowed Rimuru who had, along with your father Rigurd, and older brother Rigur, seemed to appear out of nowhere. (The three of them were just watching from the sidelines however, interested to see how the ginger’s latest bout of courting you would result in and feeling sorry for him when he was once again deflected by you.)

The Commander-In-Chief was sure that his face was as red as his hair, given with how direct to the point Rimuru had been with his wording. It was official, he was going to have to move out of the city and find some other place where he can live the rest of his life so he didn’t have to face any more embarrassment than he already had—

“I do”

...What?

Steeling yourself, you gazed at Benimaru from beneath the frame of your lashes and gave him that smile he loved so much, “I want to become your mate, Benimaru. I’ve wanted to be yours for some time now”

That was all he needed to hear as he swept you off your feet while laughing and pressing kisses all over your face. Never mind that you were in public, because all he cared about was that he FINALLY had you.

I’ve seen a lot of takes in the five Hargreeves x reader and I really like love them all but how about like...Age halt commission agent?

Like, in the comics old man Five went under the knife when recently recruited and goes through a rigurous surgical process where he wasn’t just turned into assassin blood infused coctail but, also they improved his physical capabilities and halted their age.

So how about like: reader was recruited in their teens and was immediately intervined with the age halting process and just stayed working years over years  with the commission making their conscious age 40 plus or something but still live in their teen body...

And idk, make it all fit in the show’s timeline in some way and maybe have some kind of empathetic bond for the way they are looked down by their peers for looking young??

Idk how to put this in an actual narrative but this has been hunting me.

These people are a true gentleman/gentlewoman. The moment they notice that the door are opening they cover up your body with either their own body or with anything in their surroundings like a blanket. They don’t want anyone else to see your beautiful naked body but them. They will make it clear to the intruder, whoever they are, to leave quickly with a threatening tone and a serious expression.

Afterwards they ask if you are alright and if you want to continue or not. If you do, they will give you a little extra attention to get you ‘back in the mood’.

They will however complain and/or mutter swearwords of irritation under their breath. They will need some time to calm them self down before continue, unless you say otherwise.

If the stranger takes too long to get out they are like: “Um..can you… please leave..” They are awkward, embarrassed of course but mostly awkward. They don’t really know what they should do. This is just..weird. They try to not make it a big deal, like..this can happen to everybody right? But shouldn't the person have heard you two? Or did they do it on purpose? No that can’t be right? They would be fine to continue but their mind will go back to the ‘accident’ and you will soon lose interest so you end up cuddling and talking about it instead and you probably would laugh about it.

All they do is stop what they are doing and stare the intruder straight in their soul with death. How DARE they interfere in their precious intimate time with their s/o.
