You’d be hard pressed to find someone that wasn’t aware of Mahiro in some type of way, a true horror on the battlefield. He has one of the highest kill counts in record, with the ability to go speeds so fast the enemy soldiers weren’t always aware they were now deceased immediately. One of the trolls in the Empress Special Forces and the star of the team itself, it was because of that Mahiro would become an Inheritor of a warlord power.

It was most definitely out of spite but than again Mahiro could of just been the troll his opponent last thought of, whatever the case it seemed like a certain troll was right about him being a magnet for trouble. A fact that he only learned was really stressful after picking up child soldiers Omori, Kojima and Reiya. Mahiro would swear to keep them safe and also train them to survive.

Shortly after the end of the war officially ended, Mahiro would disappear without a trace.

The overall storyline: Myka, Pete, Claudia, Leena and Steve live in an apartment and Helena moves in with them. Myka finds herself attracted to Helena, but sticks to the rule "Don't get involved with your roommates", so she tries to repress the infatuation as best she can.

For day twenty, we get another update from Myka, written by @tryingthisfangirlthing/Rinari7: Never take a trip with your crush! Tomorrow’s fic will be posted by Rinari as well.

So I did a thing. Or rather, I am doing a thing. It's a complicated thing and a very slow burn. It's part a love letter to Bering and Wells, part a love letter to the excellent nonsense that is Elder Scrolls lore, and part me just enjoying rambling about Khajiit!Myka and vampire!darkelf!Helena and all of the original characters that snuck in there somehow.

Thinking about that "emotionally repressed character is revealed to have had something happen in their childhood that was completely out of their control but changed them in a way they can never come back from" post, and of course I'm thinking of Rina, because I'm often thinking of her —

— and her case doesn't even have the kind of brutality you often see in such depictions. There's "just" neglect. She was left alone — her parents have important jobs, she says, that kept them away — and she lost the ability to show the emotions she very much feels. She was left yearning for the connection she lacks in a world that couldn't see past her lack of expression.

Her line from S1E06 always breaks my heart — when the others remark on how good she is with technology, she says simply, "I never had friends, so I had to figure out how to play by myself." She couldn't even have pets; she built her own cat.

Ai really was a miracle for her. I can barely imagine what it must mean to her that the person who's preternaturally good at making those connections reached out to her, who needed it so badly.

Heh, you picked two of the rather bare-bones snippets. I'm pretty sure I came up with these when I was still a fandom baby and was mostly just remixing ideas from other people.

Ghost Helena/Myka

This one is... seriously just the vaguest of outlines. Probably to some degree subconsciously inspired by @tantedrago's Transient. Oh, and 2020 quarantine.

Myka has never believed in fate, or ghosts. She's not that kind of superstitious. But it was certainly serendipitous that she closed the deal on this place only weeks before the pandemic lockdown orders hit. It means she has plenty of time and opportunity to get settled in.

The boarded-off alcove in the attic is certainly strange, especially when she finds someone had sealed several leather-bound first editions and a pristinely preserved antique writing desk inside. The previous owners insist they know nothing, and anything in the house is hers. Moving it down to her newly-christened home office will have to wait, but she's drawn to that piece and its little alcove nonetheless.

Then the notes start appearing...

Myka has some company for quarantine of the noncorporeal kind. Helena has some issues that need working through, among them the death of Christina and her last several unfinished manuscripts. But, as Myka helps her with these, unknotting Helena's remaining entanglements and tying up loose ends, Helena might be forming another tether to this mortal plane.

Bering/Wells Myka figures out she's bi

Because Myka being utterly obliviously bi/pan (because heteronormativity) until H.G. is an idea I can't seem to shake.

An artifact reveals the the sexuality of everyone surrounding the bearer, including that of the bearer themself. The Warehouse team is in for a few surprises.

Inspired by vestwearer’s (@wibblywobblyida's) artifact idea in all we need is a rhythm to dare.

the very first time we encounter each other is at a local cafe in paris !! he's a pro player for psg, i'm here for my internship after moving out to continue education in sports psychology. simple as that !! and we both need some pick-me-up coffee to start the day. rin stands in line behind me when i order a latte and my favorite croissant - and it just happens to be the last one. i joke around with the cashier on how it must be my lucky day then,, and right as i say it rin sighs and tells whoever he's on the phone with that they have just ran out& he has to get something else. i turn to look at him and tell him that it's okay, i don't mind getting something else instead - and i recognize him and get all sheepish 😭 cause he IS so tall and intimidating and looks way too annoyed for his own good, and it is THE rin itoshi after all. he lifts the phone from his ear and shakes his head before insisting i take it, it's fine. ryusei might as well just not get his daily sugar dose this time, it's not a big deal, he thinks. he's not going to make a fuss out of it. i ask if he's sure and he nods, and because i want this interaction to b over already i just go thru and buy it </3 i tell the cashier to pack it to go & she's a bit surprised cause i'm usually the regular sitting in the corner and studying for hours on end,, but i tell her i just need something to sweeten up my day in case my first day at work turns out worse than expected !! she gets all excited and we laugh a bit and rin's a bit on the rush, but he doesn't mind, and it feels a bit funny to him, but he doesn't pay that much mind to it. but just when i'm about to walk away &wait at the end of the bar he turns to me& tells me good luck :( you already know i nearly trip over my feet when i go to walk away akjsfhask by this point i am a mess!!!!!!

now when we PROPERLY meet each other it's barely a few hours later, at the training centre, and i step out of the office after signing all the remaining documents i need to go through w/ my internship. i don't really know my way around the building that well yet &take a few wrong turns, so when i can't find my way out to the field where i'm supposed to meet the team for the very first time, i go to ask a guy that happens to walk past. and of course it's him :,3 i only ever notice when he turns to me & we're both surprised - he has every right to be, me not so much cause ... i knew where i was signing up lol - and he tells me he's going that way too, has some dumb meeting with their health team, so we can walk together. "why'd you think it's dumb?" i ask and he shrugs a bit. "it's not like we really need it. what, you one of them?" rin looks down on me and it just sorta clicks - the first day at work, now me looking for where the meeting takes place - and he smiles a bit. "i see. well there's nothing to be scared of. ryusei, maybe." he deadpans & i nearly cry 😭 cause WHY would u bring up the one (1) most unhinged man among all of u akjfdhsl and then he adds, "he wasn't too happy when i told him you took his croissant."

........tldr; we meet bc of work but it's sweet & perhaps fate played a part in it too :3 he's not too keen of having a psychologist gf cause he's scared i'll end up analyzing him LOL i'm just like.. no babes i've a whole football team 2 look after whenever something goes wrong my world doesn't spin around u . (it's a lie. it does. we're obsessed w each other) KJASHDK COCO I HOPE I GAVE ALL THE DEETS ....... i'm feeling a lil silly 4 how long this turned out but welp :,3 i love love looooove our lore &love talkin abt it even more !!! MWAH
