I think Nagisa always tries to travel with Rin, to watch his races, no matter what. And when he can't, he organizes these small parties in their house and invite their friends, to watch Rin (and Haru too, usually) on TV, but he always gets sad for not being there with his Rinrin. So, Rin decides to show him that he knows that Nagisa is rooting for him: before the race, when the cameras are filming him, he always makes a sign that only Nagisa can recognize (he is just that romantic, hehe).

Aww, cute! I can see Rin making like, a heart or something, and the commentators and press speculating who it’s for, thinking it’s a sign to his fans. And Nagisa seeing it and making it right back at the TV XD

Rin sharing kimchi buns with Nagisa (isn't kimchi Rin's favorite food). I love the friendship between these two. Especially considering that in the light novel, it was Rin who spent the most time teaching and correcting Nagisa'a butterfly stroke.

I know!! I LOVE how Nagisa has always hero-worshipped Rin since they were young, and this is SO IMPORTANT to Rin’s growth as well because it motivates him to be a better swimmer (very much the same way you pet dog looks up to you with so much love and trust you’re just like MUST NOT DISAPPOINT lol). Even though the prototype character profiles stated that both Haruka and Rin were “not good with Nagisa,” I don’t think it means they dislike him, but more like Nagisa is such a whirlwind of a personality they are not used to being dragged into his spontaneous actions (and finding themselves not hating it as much as they expected.) And we all know how much Nagisa loves bonding over food so that endcard would’ve been SO SO GOOD. :DDD

what was their first kiss like

Back in elementary school when they were kids, on a dare. Rin wanted to try doing it since all the adults always do, and Nagisa was excited to try something new, so they did it. Does that count?

Hahaha their first “real kiss?” God I just really love their date thing on the drama CD so- they’ve been spending a lot of time together since Rin finally reunited with the group and they just get along to well. They’re having a great time, laughing and sitting side-by-side, arms and shoulders brushing, and then, mid-laugh, they just kind of look at each other and go for it. Rin’s thrilled because it’s the same mood he’s always imagined from the scores of romance movies he’s watched. Because Nagisa’s pretty perceptive and the two of them are like ultra-bros and are on the same page sexually, so they have incredible chemistry.

 where were they their first time having sex

Rin’s dorm. Nagisa would get a total thrill out of doing it where all of Rin’s kohais could hear, plus he loves sneaking around. He’d come over for an “innocent” make out session and it’d just happen, probably a couple days after their first kiss. I can’t see either of them taking much time to get down to the dirty stuff, honestly, since they already have such a solid friendship going on.
