Some thoughts about these two under the cut

His dynamic with Agatha (Mrs Cuddles) starts out a bit frosty for already known reasons, but just as much as she's in need of a father figure, Raph can't resist caring for people in need, so despite their mutual antagonism they keep naturally gravitating towards each other (and Mona, who often ends up in the middle).

Since Agatha has a habit of falling asleep during movies or just in other random spots, Raph would often gently pick her up and carry her to her own, makeshift bed and tuck her in.

Agatha is thoroughly convinced that Raph hates her guts and while she does nothing to rectify that and outwaryly doesn't care, finding out that it's Raph who does this shakes her world view quite drastically.

(she had until this point believed that it was Mona each time and finally found out by pretending to be asleep - to cover up for the fact that she's up past her bedtime - and finds herself scooped up and gently tucked into bed by Raph instead)

He doesn't actually hate her anymore so much as he's wary about her and keeping a safe distance, and this small gesture of care and affection is enough for Agatha to find herself wanting more of that than to keep antagonizing him.

She still messes with him because it's fun, but now sticks to much more harmless pranks and starts openly seeking affection from him more. Sometimes Mona is conked out on the couch after a long day taking on a particularly taxing job and now, instead of sitting it out somewhere pouting and looking kinda forlorn about it bc she can't just wake up Mona for cuddles, Agatha will just go to Raph and wordlessly invade his personal space for comfort. He's neither soft nor warm but he does hug back.

@toonsforkicks22​‘s Cafe Maid May Day 7: Sandwiches

The aftermath of the Mrs. Cuddles episode where Raph FINALLY gets to eat his sandwich in peace, and no scary puppets around to traumatize him. Don't worry, he'll untie the other when he's finished. I'm gonna be honest here. I don't really like this episode as well as "Nothing But Truffle" primarily because of Mikey and why he isn't my favorite of the Rise turtles despite me being a Mikey-kinnie (he basically told Raph, a guy with a legitimate fear of Mrs. Cuddles and have every good reason to be afraid of her, to basically "grow up"), but I'd rather watch this episode again over "Nothing But Truffle" because THAT one was where he was at his absolute WORST. And it's not just me who didn't like that episode. My friend, @toonsforkicks22​ didn't like that episode too and has a long-ass rant about it on Tumblr.

How to efficiently apple

Mrs. Cuddles is an interesting character!

Things started out simply enough...

But then her story goes from 0 to 100 real quick!

Yet what I find most intriguing is Raph's summary of her character and what she says during the battle/after her defeat.

1) Raph recognizes her for what she is, a giant bully.

2) When people laugh it makes her small.

And..

3) In the end, she begs to not go back to the show.

Hmm, so she's a bully that gets (feels) bigger when people scream (are afraid of her) but ultimately just doesn't want to get laughed at because when she does, it makes her (feel) smaller. I don't know about you, but she reminds me of plenty of people I've met irl. 😅

Ultimately, I believe the turtles end up feeling bad for her and that's why they just keep her around the lair.

It's probably one of those, "if you don't bother us, we won't bother you" type deals.

...Yet in reality, the real question is: If she is, in fact, "Mrs." Cuddles, then who is she married to? 🤔
