everytime i feel bad and stressed about my life i remember that i might be in a troubling situation and having a bad time but im not season 4 fiona gallagher in the clink after leaving crack on the counter which my 3 year old baby brother happened to ingest resulting in a fatal near-death experience thats wracked me with never-ending guilt and forever altered my life

#this storyline was stupid you expect me to believe two-apples-tall liam gallagher came close to the crack AND managed to ingest it?#the crack which is lined up on the kitchen counter?#Also i don't believe that fiona would be irresponsible enough for liam to have been able to be close to the crack #that was an ooc moment and not like “its ooc cause thats the point shes going thru a tough time”#morelike “so ooc that it seems like a discrepancy that was overlooked for the sake of drama and shock value #as an older sister i feel like being watchful of your younger sibling if crack is in their general vicinity is an unstoppable instinct #its just not a plausible situation sorry like this is coming from someone who wholeheartedly embraces the realistic idea #of fiona falling short sometimes and being very human by struggling to consistently maintain her doting attentiveness #but anyways it's complicated cause Fiona clearly put it somewhere he cant reach #so how did he get access to it????#its like getting mad at a parent for putting a glass of wine on the counter #not comparing that to literal cocaine obviously this whole situation was nonetheless messed up #but just for some perspective... the writers were clearly doing cocaine themselves if they thought that #liam was bungee-jumping onto the counter and showing off his skills as an apparent budding olympics gymnast #not justifying anything but. listen.#the fact that it was on the counter FOR A REASONNN shows that fiona was careful to keep it out of reach and NOT do something insane like #putting it on the table #liam somehow magically having access to it defeats the purpose of it being on the counter.#if they really wanted for it to be believable that liam managed to snort it they should've put it on the table #but we already know that situation wouldn't be believable in its entirety cause we know that fiona would literally never leave it there #WHICH IS MY POINT. LIKE THIS SITUATION IS JUST ANNOYINGLY UNBELIEVABLE. FIONA WOULD NOT DO THIS AND HOW DID LIAM EVEN GET TO IT??#theres like 39482939 overlooked discrepancies just for the sake of getting to the shock #just to circle back Fiona would literally never let liam go near crack no matter how far gone and fucked up she was #I KNOW THIS BECAUSE I AM AN OLDER SISTER.#its just so UGHHHHH anyways obviously i still think in canon yeah Fiona was at fault shouldve been more careful and watchful #no matter how you look at it its clear that a risk like this just cannot be taken and she had to be blamed to an extent #but me personally? i reject it because it didnt feel natural to me at all there were 394939 other ways to frame a Fiona downfall #And i loved all the other ways her spiral was shown like getting messed up and ending up in Sheboygan #all the shit she got into with robbie + the impulsive urge to ruin the good thing she had going with mike #so human and believable and deeply flawed unlike the liam situation which was horrifically OOC and unrealistic

I'm an argumentative bastard just like both my parents but I try not to get into fights too much because a lot of arguments just turn into a waste of time but fuck man. It's really hard sometimes.

#chit chat #work stuff #'unskilled labor' is my secret communist trigger phrase and one day I'm gonna get fired #for yelling at a fucking office manager customer about how I know damn well how to keep employees in line and file paperwork #but I'd sure like to see him throw freight for ten hours a day every day for a year without cracking #and I'd like to see him get screamed at by a customer and have a portable grill thrown at him and not see him lose his cool #and I'd like to see him drive our assortment of forklifts through a store at 2pm and not hit anything or any customer not paying attention #not only is this skilled labor but im DAMN skilled at it #and he wasn’t even talking about retail specifically he was talking about mcdonalds #but i know what office work entails because I've done it and it's also half my job here #and 16yo burger flippers do a lot more have a lot more skills and risk a lot more danger than fucking working on microsoft excel all day #and yes a lot of office work is necessary but it's not fucking better than retail or food service #and I hope all his computers have slow internet for the rest of his life #jfc

#or twitch #live streaming also seems kinda fun #it is very much a thing that pops up in my head at least once every day #but i could NOT keep a consistent channel identity #i cant even do it with a blog #also it would in general just not be a good idea i think #my poor time management skills would NOT keep up #im already barely containing all the side projects i want(/need) to do #(finding the scribe my beloved<3)#also what would i even do #one minute id be making video essays about my favorite media the next i'd do science education #and the next would be a videot letsplay or a sewing video or a ttrpg prep session or something #so yeah #gotta have one braincell be smart about this and keep me in check #the moment that it looses focus i will just never get anything done ever again #or i will try it for a month and loose all interest in it forever #but lets not risk it #caffeines cackles

Man, I'm just kind of dazed today

I woke up yesterday around 9am, didn't do much for the day, went to bed... realized it was too hot to fall asleep (cause my window is broken so I can't open it)

So I got up, filled 3 box with papers as I sorted out the magazines and mail

Then I needed to stay up till after 8am so I could go to the post office to return that bowl. Came back and laid down but... you know when your body just feels wired and you really need to sleep but can't? Probably cause it's pumping out hormones to keep me awake to compensate for me being so tired, that's my guess based on how it feels

Anyway, lay down and kind of drift off with a video in the background, but... I think I was just on the verge of sleep but not able to cross over... like dozing at best

Then I hear Bart making noise and look over and he's acting like he's hunting a mouse, and sure enough he was, so he helps me cup it, and then I go take it to a field outside of town to hopefully live a better life... but clearly wasn't sleeping if I'm doing that

And... I'm still up. I think I'm gonna try and take another crack at sleeping... I hope I can do it. Things do at least feel a bit cooler

But yeah, I'm a mess today, gonna be two days worth of dash to look through whenever I get up, and then I can also respond to the couple messages I've got

But oof... hate feeling like this. The non depressed part of me wants to die just because maybe then I could finally rest

#for the record not even feeling that suicidal today; not sure if I'm too tired for it or if I'm just in an ok mood for once #but fuck do I just want to shut off and never have to boot up again; but now and in general #I relate to Bilbo and Frodo talking about being stretched thin... I feel something similar... you know... most of the time #strip the depression aside and I'm tired... and I don't know if any amount of rest will cure it... I don't know if I can truly rest #got a lot of things I want to do; whole lot of skills I want to pick up #but... having to be the parent my whole life; never actually getting a proper break... I'm so tired #my trip to Phoenix was the closest to a break I've gotten; but... there was a set activity in a set time frame #...it still kinda feels like I should have found a way to squeeze more out of it; you know? like as an obligation #not cause I minded how things actually went... but it just felt like I shouldn't have been at the hotel on the couch; should have been out #and then a 3 day window with stressful travel on either side of it... hard to really relax like that #obviously I had a fairly bad breakdown there; one of the few times I was actually at serious risk... not sure if I'd have managed it #don't trust myself to have the nerve to kill myself; but I very much did have a method... if I hadn't had someone to go see the next day #might have just gone ahead with it #but anyway; other than dinner with my friend their friend group and showers... I'm not sure I relaxed there either #I think... I think sleeping was more a maintenance obligation and I sprung up like when I set an alarm #(I so rarely set alarms and almost always wake up a couple minutes before them; it felt like that for 3 days straight)#so... truthfully I don't know if... if I've ever really rested #mhh... no joke; the last time that comes to mind that I didn't feel like I had to be kind of on #was when I was 13 on a school trip; and I'd taken a surf board to the back of the head while being rescued from a rip tide #and so people were worried about me; and I was just kind of laying there relaxing while people played cards and stuff nearby #...mhh... anyway... in less of a mood to say it's a shame I didn't just drown; so I suppose that's something #but... I don't even know what I'm saying; I'm so tired in the lack of sleep sense #and also physically and emotionally or... whatever #well... take care #mm tag so i can find things later

found my new favorite practice dungeon for healer/anything in general lol

wanted to start leveling WHM, wasn't sure about doing a roulette with a pug group. well, i usually get lower level dungeons on it so maybe it wont be that bad.

i queue and have the idea to go to azys lla to go find something to beat up real quick as a warm up

me like: i know there's a dragon dungeon that's annoying or smth like that. i hope its not this one.

its slow. its forced single pulls half the time b/c of barriers.

and i loved it. it was great lol

the party was chill so i had nothing to worry about on that end, but like. it was a huge relief that even if i did get a group that wanted to go nyoom, it wouldnt matter anyway, b/c the dungeon was setting the pace! i enjoyed it a lot more because of this.

also it's a level 53 dungeon so i ALSO got to practice with most of the kit!

#zwei writes #yeah yeah i know 'ur not going to get better taking it slow' but thats not where my skill level is atm. i havent touched WHM in a year. so #there aint no way i'm throwing myself into a normal wall 2 wall dungeon at first attempt w pugs lmao that'd be stupid and not fun for anyon #when i mean 'practice dungeon' i REALLY MEAN PRACTICE DUNGEON. as in 'oh dear god i am a DPS main and i never heal #and i've forgotten what half these buttons do and i cba to learn it in the overworld bc that's boring. lemme play the game while learning #the job but in like a low stakes kinda way' sohm al is the perfect dungeon for that!!!#the only thing is you just need to keep up some spacial awareness and be aware of the exploding ice spikes but imo that's a good thing bc u #also get to have some danger-risk management practice involved too. so its just an overall solid 'sinking back into a job' kinda dungeon im #this is the dungeon you'd run like 3 times just to make sure you remember how to hit all your buttons in the right situations before moving #onto actually practicing and running normal dungeons lol #guildheists are good too
