Create your character and travel to High Isle - Castle Navire in specific.

Do the main story at Castle Navire. Meet Isobel Veloise, knight errant and certified lesbian disaster. This quest unlocks her as a companion and you can travel with her everywhere afterward. She's amazing, you'll love her.

Head up to Solitude in Western Skyrim and unlock the main story quest.

Run through the story quest and have fun listening to Isobel constantly thirst after a blonde half-giant with a giant fuckoff sword voiced by Jennifer Hale.

Ah yes, my very dear friend who is the only person I interact with on hellsite right now, lol. Let me curate some answers for you.

3. (Who is your favorite FE3H voice actor?) If you asked me before going to Momocon last weekend, I likely would have said Chris Hackney, Allegra Clark, or Joe Zieja were my favorites depending on the day, but Robbie Daymond has taken the spot easily. Sucker for that excellent, theatrical villain voice. 7. (Which side quest / paralogue was your favorite?) I wasn't a huge fan of the paralogues as a whole, but I really like Mercedes and Caspar's paralogue "The Face Beneath". All hints of Mercedes relationship with Emile and trying to just get him to come home and stop thinking of himself as irredeemable break my heart, especially as a Blue Lions Route Enjoyer. 30. (What characters should have more support options and who should have been their support options?) Dedue should have had more supports and less focus on everyone around him being racist. Flat. I want to see what Dedue's relationships with people outside the blue lions cast would be like, especially since it doesn't really make sense for the rest of the continent of Fodlan to hate on the people of Duscur the same way that the people of Faerghus do since they were not effected by the false claims of regicide. I would think people outside Faerghus would have ignorant stereotypes or preconceptions at worst and possibly be very sympathetic toward the plight of his people at best. I also just want to see more goofy personalities bounce off of him as well. I would have liked more support options for Hubert and Hilda as well, but Dedue is simply poorly utilized and the only unproblematic fave. 40. (What character do you always recruit, no matter which route you are playing and why?) I am a bit of a recruitment completionist because I'm not leaving my kids behind. My only recruitment rule is I cannot separate bff pairs. Mercedes and Annette must go together, we are not separating Caspar and Linhardt, etc. The real answer is Ashe because he is the best and I cannot abandon my boy 41. (What is a favorite character headcanon (can be one you came up with or one you liked / adopted from someone else)?) My favorite headcanon has to be taking the concept of Hubert's little siblings as presented in three hopes and running with it everywhere, because literally *ALL* of Hubert's behaviors toward his classmates in game make so much more sense with the context that he's used to being a parentified older brother figure. Everything from the scolding harsh tones to quietly taking a character's feelings into account, to the utter exhaustion with people not living to their potential and to threatening your friends, but playfully. It all makes sense, even though it isn't directly stated in the original game and only tangentially supported by the canon, that Hubert not only was a big brother but a parentified one who raised his little siblings and protected them from threats within and without.

ough, writing that shit down to listen on a rainy day. Another song I can imagine him and the Black Masks performing is In Cauda Venenum by The Dear Hunter (very wild... not sure whether or not they'd keep in the end).

You know, I really appreciate Robbie for playing a bard and just saying "I perform" or "I sing a song for the group" and then confidently going "hell no!" when asked if he was actually going to do it at the table.

And it's not like he can't sing! I think he's put videos of himself playing music online before. He was just very comfortable and firm in his boundary of "I am not doing that in improv lol" and I really like that as an example for viewers of how playing a bard doesn't mean you need to be "on" all the time on another level as a performer.

Exandria Unlimited: A Critical Role Mini-Campaign!

Always wanted to watch Critical Role but didn’t have six billion hours to dedicate to keeping up with it? Looking for a self-contained, manageable show to try out? Now’s your chance! In the hiatus between campaigns, CR is releasing a new eight-episode mini-series set in the canon of the main campaigns. In brief, it takes place in a city called Emon 30 years after a devastating attack during the events of Campaign 1. If it’s anything like previous new campaigns/one-shots, it will be made as a jumping-on point for new viewers and won’t assume any familiarity with the rest of the series.

Who’s running the game?

For the first time in a canon game, a new Game Master will be running the show! Aabria Iyengar (top left) is an extremely experienced D&D player who’s starred in a bunch of the big actual-play shows out there (there’s a list here!), and is a GM for Saving Throw. If you’d like to see her in action with the main cast, she was on a couple episodes of Narrative Telephone and her contribution to the story was fantastic.

Who are the new cast members?

New to the cast (and in Aimee’s case, also new to D&D!) are Aimee Carrero (top center) and Robbie Daymond (bottom right). You probably know Aimee from her roles as She-Ra or as Elena of Avalor in the eponymous shows. Robbie also has no shortage of big credits, including Spider-Man in the Disney XD series and Tuxedo Mask in the Sailor Moon re-dub.

Who are the regular cast members?

Living the dream of forever-DMs everywhere by playing in his own game for once is Matt Mercer (bottom left), who you may know as McCree in Overwatch or Levi in Attack on Titan. Jumping in from the main campaigns are Ashley Johnson (top right), whose credits include Ellie from Last of Us and Patterson from Blindspot, and Liam O’Brien (bottom center), who played Illidan in WoW and Gaara in Naruto.

I know nothing about D&D and at this point I’m too scared to ask.

Not a problem! The important thing is the story being told, and a lot of the game can be picked up as you go. Basically: GM explains scene, players decide what to do, if it’s not a trivial action the GM has them roll a 20-sided die to see if it’s successful or not (20 is good, 1 is not). Player characters have different abilities that make some types of checks more likely to succeed than others. In combat, things would get too hectic just playing out a scene, so the game becomes turn-based with the initiative roll at the start deciding who gets to go first. If a player’s character drops to 0 HP, they’re unconscious and may die permanently if they don’t get help quickly. The game varies wildly from combat slug-fests to dice-free improvised drama/comedy. It’s a good time.

Okay, so how do I watch?

The very good news: the show is completely free to watch. You can see it air live on Thursdays at 7 PM Pacific Time (here’s a useful countdown clock for different timezones - at the time of this post it’s showing a countdown for a one-shot airing tonight) on Twitch or YouTube. After it airs, you can watch the VOD if you have a Twitch subscription (in case you’re not a big Twitch person, you get a free subscription via Amazon Prime), but it will be posted in its entirety to their YouTube channel, generally the following Monday. They also usually post an audio-only podcast version the following Thursday. The first episode airs this Thursday, June 24, at 7 PM Pacific, and episodes will air weekly from then on.

REVIEW | "My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission" | B3 - Boston Bastard Brigade

Poor Deku has it rough. It seems like no matter where he goes, the user of One For All appears to be a magnet for trouble. Of course, in the world of My Hero Academia, trouble is just about everywhere a villain can raise havoc. Maybe that’s why the stakes are raised in its third film, as the threat is raised to a global scale.

An original standalone story, My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission has Deku, Bakugo, Todoroki, and Endeavor sent to the European nation of Otheon. The rest of the heroes & students of UA Academy are scattered throughout the world, as a terrorist organization sets out to kill anyone with a Quirk. As he and the others do their routine, Deku runs into Rody (Ryan Colt Levy), a shoddy thief who accidentally gets his briefcase of jewels switched during a high-speed chase. However, what’s inside the one he has may be a key to stopping the terrorist organization.

It’s soon revealed that this threat has plenty of control throughout the world, including the police force. A false APA is placed on Deku, with claims that he massacred a dozen civilians. As he and Rody attempt to evade the police and the terrorists, Bakugo and Todoroki do their best to find their comrade. With the clock ticking towards Quirk genocide, Deku and Rody must figure out the mystery behind the briefcase in order to save their friends and allies.

World Heroes’ Mission begins on a good note with the terrorist organization, fronted by Flect Turn (Robbie Daymond). The threat they create — while supervillain-ish as a whole — has some roots in some of history’s most notorious dictators and cult leaders. Just as impressive is Flect Turn’s Quirk, which could’ve easily made for a great final boss in an arc of the actual series. But instead of getting some deep back stories about the organization and its leader, we’re once again dragged into what’s happening with Deku.
