The girls find Robin’s teasing – “Hey Byers, if you’re done coming onto Captain Dingus, I’m taking my break, ‘kay?”

I need some sort of AU where Steve and Robin both have working gaydar, but like for each other. Steve has no idea which guys might be gay, especially if they're into him, but he can tell which girl is gay at a hundred paces and if they could be into Robin, he can spot them a mile off.

Robin is the same, but reversed. They joke it's because they accidentally mixed up their gaydar that day in the mall bathroom but they each accidentally took the wrong half when they left to follow Dustin and Erica.

This is why Steve is so confident about Vickie and Robin can't believe him. It's also why Steve thinks Robin is messing with him for months because there's no way Eddie's into him.
