NGL, I mostly made this because I don't know if there's anything mentioning The Wild Robot and Pluto at the same time so I decided to make something myself doing that, mostly because they are both really similar (they both heavily feature robots, they both have prominent themes of parenthood, and they both are about how love and kindness ultimately triumphs over hatred and fear)

so instead of get back into art after the basic recovery of my surgery, I instead replayed Mario and Luigi Partners in Time…and why does nobody talk about this game?? Hardly ever see it in the Super Mario tag. Like. It’s actually insane how dark it gets. People die. Like actually die. Not as dark as SPM but like we see the dead spirits of Toads get siphoned through tubes. They had their life force sucked out of them via genetically modified trees. Yoshis were eaten by a larger alien Yoshi and were gonna be turned into more alien Yoshis via a factory IN THE GIANT ALIEN YOSHI. We see a town that’s literally just “Christmas is Cancelled” the city. Their mayor probably died. We never see these places restored because there are no survivors to restore them. The citizens of Hollijolli village probably all died by the time the bros shut down the Vim factory. And also there’s the entire scene with the Star Gate. Like. Hello??

maybe I’ll stream or let’s play this game and share it here because I think. More ppl should talk about Partners in Time. I’ll say it too: I like it more than Bowser’s Inside Story. By like a LOT. That’s my ramble for the night. Ttyd day tomorrow. Yippee

- out of all the lightbots he has the sharpest and pointiest nose, most of them have rounded noises to resemble dr light (they’re his kids. guys. Guys.

- his singing voice is TERRIBLE he’s only sung to one other person (roll) and he hasn’t since out of embarrassment. he works on his singing voice whenever he has a chance

- (this kind of goes into my dr light making his bots as human as he can hcs) being the 8th bot he has 8 little beauty marks on his face :] (MOST OF THEM ARE HIDDEN BY HIS MASK UNFORTUNATELY

- weirdly allergic to animals, at some point when he had to work with fuse he accidentally inhaled some rabbit hair and did the most viscous sneeze, the power almost went out in the city

- has a pun book stashed somewhere (honestly which robot master doesn’t have stupid puns

It's clear from where he hovered—directly in front of Bonnie—which was his creation. He carried a sort of unfettered pride that nothing could have crushed. It was his first time officially bringing her to the pizzeria, the building closed for the day. He had been all too eager to finally introduce her to his work in person. Words could only express so much.

"Here they are—the faces of the restaurant." He turned then, hand gesturing toward the door behind which the parts and repair room lied. "But you're more interested in what goes into making them function, aren't you?" Despite a crooked smile, the glint in his eyes suggested he felt the same. It was a chance to show off his skill and discuss engineering as a whole with someone likeminded. "There's more in the back." Here he chuckled, rubbing at his jaw. "Not that I'm not beyond proud of the springlock suits. But I can improve them."
