This is a romcom as well, where Buck has finally found true love. He's getting off the hamster wheel for good. His father-figure Bobby and everyone around him can see it.

Tommy is clearly being written as Buck's endgame, and I don't see how anyone in their right mind can be blind to the significance of this storyline. I for one am super-thrilled and optimistic about all the possibilities of Buck and Tommy's romance moving forward! 😍🥰❤

We knew Tom was in Scotland and we figured it might be for golf but we did not know until this morning that he brought every single one of his brothers and best mates. So many of his closest dudes in one place made us 🤔

Lord knows he’s a generous friend and his circle is tight, but we wondered what they might be celebrating?

The delulu? It was percolating.

Our Italian Romance: Starring Tomdaya 🎥

We were already abuzz and the delulu was bountiful on the dash when suddenly the most cinematic and romantic photos of our favorite couple dropped. We learned they were canoodling at the gorgeous Castillo di Reschio, with such romantic activities as pasta-making (watch those fingers, Z!) and horseback riding.

And if that wasn’t enough, A POOL DATE. Both of them sunkissed and beautiful, reading books and looking like the movie stars they are.

No, your eyes don’t deceive you. They did switch books. 🫠

Every single one of us immediately wondered why our partners weren’t offering to read aloud to us in the pool at an Italian castle. But then, who hasn’t wondered that at least once?

Dad Said His Tea Was Cold But We Say It Was Piping Hot

As if we weren’t all twitterpated enough from the Italian romcom baecation pics, Zendaya’s Father In Law Dom felt like we needed a glimpse into their everyday life at home. He shared that the newest member of the Coleman-Holland family, Daphne the dog, is a “beautiful” addition to the clan and that her youthful energy has found a fast friend in her aunt Rosie, who is just a year older. Big brother and recent outcast (banished to live with Uncle Darnell, what did he do?) was said to be too old to enjoy the young pups.

Dom was feeling chatty I guess because he didn’t stop there. He went on to share that Zendaya had recently joined Nikki and Dom for dinner at the local pub.

He further said that Granny Tess, siblings, cousins, all the boys and “the dogs” would soon be accompanying him and Nikki on an anniversary celebration trip to Portugal. Dare we hope for more family photos?

Even if we don’t, that’s another bingo square, baby.

Aunt May Has Shipped It For Years

To top off the content-crazy, your favorite aunt and mine, Marisa Tomei, said at an event in Canada that one of her favorite parts of her Spider Man experience was watching Tom and Zendaya grow up and “fall in love.” 🥰

That face she’s making? The I can’t take it they’re so cute face? We were all wearing it. Even the strongest soldiers among us were grinning and kicking their feet. (We saw you, don’t try to deny it!)

While we await word from the pixel analysts on what people starring in their own epic love story read to each other on vacation, and while we bask in all the little details that make the story more real and more beautiful every day, let’s take a moment as I close to appreciate just how hot Zendaya’s back is in this dinner photo.

on the rare occasion a case finished early, and the jet wasn't scheduled to leave until the next morning, you'd all be stupid not to take advantage of a night out within a different, new city. somehow, this time, all of you had ended up at a basketball game, per derek's suggestion. and while it wasn't your usual scenery for team outings, the change of atmosphere was nice.

and the current setting gave you the opportunity to poke fun at aaron, which you would never deny, either.

as the clock neared the end of the game, you turned away from your conversation with jj.

"hey." you nudged aaron, getting his attention. he leaned down slightly closer, allowing you to speak more directly into his ear so he could hear you clearly. the crowd was loud, and you were also on the side of him consisting of his bad ear. "wanna get me a soda?"

there was a mischievous look on your face, while aaron's fell into his signature expression. however, there was a playful glint present in his eyes. he straightened up his posture before speaking. "very funny."

you feigned disappointment. "so... no?"

"nope."

"aaron pleaseeee." you jokingly whined, your hand clasping around his forearm and tugging on it gently.

"is this your way of telling me you want us to break up?" aaron arched an eyebrow, his lips pursed upwards as he attempted to hold back a smile.

the team's undivided attention was present on the pair of you, nothing but quizzical, or slightly horrified (morgan), expressions on their faces. even spencer had ceased explaining all the mathematical aspects of basketball to dave.

"yeah no i heard what you said, i just can't believe you're the one that said it." jj stated, bewilderment still present.

"contrary to popular belief, i don't live under a rock." aaron answered nonchalantly, loud enough for the whole team to hear. his hand also found your hip, giving it a squeeze.

"never knew you were into rom coms, aaron." dave pitched in. aaron simply shrugged his shoulders.

Flying lessons. I want to see Buck excitedly studying up on piloting in his spare time during his shift. I want Buck to do his best to be the best student Tommy ever had (even if Buck is the only student Tommy's ever had). I want Tommy to be impressed by how good Buck is from the jump. I want Buck to be impressed by how amazing Tommy is at flying in general. They're both into competency and they're both excited to have these long periods of time together alone in a helicopter. They just hope they don't get too distracted with one another 😂

I feel like they would both be zoo people. "I Go to the Zoo" vibes, but it's more like they've both had times of intense loneliness; had found themselves gravitating to the zoo. So much so that they both have people they know there; they have connections; probably the same connections, as they'd find out when they go on the date. And they both get really happy and excited to share a night at the zoo with each other with the help of those connections, visiting their favorite animals and getting lost in the happiness the other has at the zoo.

Cooking together at Tommy's home. Buck shows up with all the supplies and equipment they'll need for the recipe, and while Tommy's a little overwhelmed and it's one of the few times he's more fumbly than cool, well, he's excited to do something Buck likes to do. He's excited to learn from Buck too. Buck gives Tommy pointers and it's cute and intimate and wonderful. They make one of Bobby's best recipes, and it's complicated, but well worth making together. They finish the night watching a romcom (they're currently working through a list of them). They head to bed together afterward.

1. obviously finish the lyrics has to be top. i’ve watched it so many times and yet i’m still bewildered every time i watch again because it’s somehow always more like a romcom than i remembered. oscar’s reaction to lando is just So Much all the way through???

2. “you’ve grown!” makes me laugh every time i watch it because lando is so incredibly unsubtle holy shit. the first (?) of many Ooh I’m So Tiny Look At Big Strong You moments from lando. lovely stuff.

3. when oscar took a break from having a meltdown over card tricks so they could stare at each other like this. madness. especially when he followed it with that knowing, pleased-with-himself little desk tap and “concentrate, mate”. so much of their dynamic is lando being pleased that his lunatic flirting is having the desired effect, it’s appalling.

4. “look at YOU!” ah the infamous BTS video!! obviously lando’s borderline-pornographic table edge stimming was a LOT, but actually my favourite bit of this is just how familiar and fond they are with each other and in particular how much they mirror each other’s vocal cadences?? like, oscar says “little smoothie, man” in the exact same cadence as lando says “sipping on” before hand, and then lando repeats it back to him. and then the mouthed “fun!”/“this is what we LIVE for” that is obviously a practised routine/in-joke…gah! they’re so soft!

5. this tiny little moment, which i adore so much i wrote it into monday. lando looks SO genuinely pleased to be name-checked?? and that little heart gesture, like idk if it’s a Thing (it feels like it could be a tiktok thing? idk my fyp is just lando thirst edits and people reorganising their fridges) but it’s just so endearing coupled with the delighted smile/wiggle combo when he gets a compliment from oscar. AWFUL!!

honorary mentions: when lando rubbed the cards in oscar’s face, oscar patiently explaining how to pronounce chrysanthemum, when lando said he’d do onlyfans and oscar corpsed and then shook his head at lando in apparent disbelief, all of red flag green flag, the silverstone fanzone…oh god there’s loads more i must stop.

I love the Eddie Munson tiktoks, they're my bedtime story before bed every night 🥰 I love that they're still so gross and madly in love after all this time. I was trying to think of a way to ask about Eddie accidentally talking about their sex life occasionally on live, and now I'm imagining Eddie trying to make a spicy tiktok and Steve just laughing his ass off

There’s no ‘accidentally’ about it.

Eddie has talked about sex casually on his channel multiple times because he’s in love with his husband, thinks Steve is hot as hell, and doesn’t think before he talks. They are still grossly affectionate and it’s all over Eddie’s videos.

There are Tiktoks where Eddie is just talking about something and Steve will kiss him on the cheek. There’s a live-stream where Eddie stopped mid-sentence just to kiss Steve. There’s videos filmed where he is draped over Steve or Steve is draped over him, videos of them slapping the other on the ass, or saying that the other looks sexy today.

Someone asks how Eddie keeps the spark in their marriage, and Eddie is just like, “With charm, with grace, with a mysteriously sexy alure and- Did you just laugh? Steve, are you fucking laughing?”

“No,” Steve replies, definitely laughing. “I just – I just wouldn’t put Eddie Munson together with grace – or mysterious.”

“You don’t think I’m mysterious?” Eddie asks. “I was – I was once wanted for murder.”

“You were hiding in a boat house eating dry cereal,” Steve is fully laughing now. “You’re actually very bold and loud about what you want, babe. Not mysterious.”

Eddie posts a Tiktok at like nine pm. Steve’s asleep. Eddie’s hair is a mess and he’s slightly sweaty, and he’s just like, “Charmed him” *thumbs up*
