Marble hornets Labrynth AU

Jay = Sarah

Brian is kind of hard to cast but I believe he would be Sir Didymus

Alex = Toby

The Operator = Jareth

Jay gets frustrated with Alex and tells him he wishes he would disappear/get taken away. When things go exactly as he wishes, he immediately realizes his foolishness, and sets out to find him. He is accompanied by Tim, who is an unhelpful acquaintance at first, but soon falls in love with Jay, and they work together, along with the company of a few others, to get to the center of Rosswood Labrynth and rescue Alex

HIHI IM HERE 2 TALK MORE ABT THE CREEPYPASTA AU I MADE

(i'm the creator of that one au where the creepypastas work against the operator/slendy btw jus so y'know!! im trying to think of a name for it rn ARGHHH here's the og post if you havent read abt the au yet ,, !! marbled my hornets !! '' on Tumblr beware, the grammar in there was shitty and i was rushing to type the whole thing) this au starts off fresh with tim (aka masky) after he leaves rosswood park in entry 87 so y'know when tim turns the camera around to reveal that he's going to a FUCKMCKING FOREST?!?! yes. this my friends is how he met the other creepypastas so once he gets there he gets jumpscared by-- you know it --THE OPERATOR!!!!! YAY!!!!!!! so he passes out STRAIGHT onto the ground. once he wakes up he's greeted with lil' old tobias erin rogers kneeling in front of him (btw tim woke up laying against the tree in the first drawing) toby asks why tim is wearing a mask and he's like "Wait, how'd that get there?" so then toby is like "You're just like one of us. L-let me ask y-you a question. D-d-do you know t-the Operator?" tim then gets baffled and says yes. he explains that the operator killed all of his friends toby then takes tim with him and introduces him to the other creepypastas and yea they camp at the forest,,, toby WAS the one to buy the food and necessities bc he looked the most normal there (and now that tim suddenly came into their lives he was the one to actually buy everything since he's like the eldest there) oh ye btw in the middle of this au they see the operator and try to kill him by LITERALLY burning him.. didnt go as planned tho lol (they burned half a forest down but eventually stopped it) when they were trying to kill the operator they were also in rosswood LMAOOO and to skully's surprised they saw the proxies try to burn the operator skully actually participated bc they saw tim/masky there and wanted to help ALSO ALSO ALSO i wanna make one of the souls in skully Lyra bc it would be so funny if skully unmasked themself just to see lyra behind the mask.. and toby having an entire breakdown bc of it ...maybe add a bit of sauce and have jay be unmasked too what's funny is that tim/masky bought normal clothes, makeup, and eye contacts for all of them to blend in the public so they didnt look like fumckking killers (especially ben and jane) fun fact: only masky and jane havent told their backstories because of how uncomfy it made them feel

that's all i have to say today!!!!!!! i rlly love my au so far (just remember. THEY ARENT CRAZY SERIAL KILLERS IN THIS AU1!!! THEY WERE TORMENTED BY THE OPERATOR/SLENDERMAN SO BASICALLY HE'S THE VILLAIN HERE)

Idk man, if I were to make a creepypasta au, there would be 3 "slendermans" as in like, treating it as a species rather than a person

We have the Operator, the actual concept of slenderman slenderman, and the "adoptive parent" slenderman

The operator and the actual slenderman can't talk while the adoptive parent can, but they can all like,, send vibes across telepathically/control but just each one has their own way of doing it and own personality

The adoptive parents is essentially the Fandom take on slenderman/Fannon if that wasn't clear

This also means in my headcannon all canonical parts of Marble Hornets can happen and yet be completely unrelated to the "adoptive slender" (idk, I don't like the idea of masky and hoodie as alters being put into the houses and given wrong personalities and then not even considering that tim and brian are there too)

All slenders are territorial and would 100% get into a fight if they crossed paths

I may expand on this idea if people want

Imma just write profile like things for em:

I'm using the term proxy very loose for the Operator as he basically only rarely ever takes control, but rather teleports them around and make alter egos via the sickness. I know they aren't proxies directly in the way of the original slender and I don't perceive them as it either but the term works for short explanation so- also I'm calling em "slenderfolk" since they are all essentially just based off of slenderman, so the same species. All electronics when up close start to not work. Audio players, lights,video and audio recordings all cut out when slenderfolk are near, all electronics really. It can occur when they are in frame, deliberate interference, and based on distance to the tall folk themselves.

Operator, Slenderfolk, infectious, Verbally Mute, communicates though mental/physical images, vague telepathy (not direct words but convaying meaning wordlessly) and through proxies.

Operator is distant most times and focuses more on control, disregarding anything a human needs to survive as long as the proxies are working in his favor. Tends to mentally ruin and destroy his puppets, or otherwise spitting their personalities via the Operators sickness. Exists primary in and around Rosswood Park or near related proxies. Killing tactics are different than the actual slenderman, will make infected subjects that he can control do his dirty work for him. The operator is hard to read and almost has very little rhyme or reason for things that we simply cant see at face value but it works in his favor it the end. Operator doesn't kill his subjects but rather let's the suffer until the sickness kills them. Operator vaguely only starts hunting thoes who learn about it though is very distant, and stops for a bit once they become under his control.

Slenderman, Slenderfolk, Mute, Communicates only through proxies, can cause hallucinations and visual blurring, actively hunts anyone who tries to learn about him. Slenderman is nor bound to some set forest and is seen all over the world in densly wooded and abandoned areas. He will at first only stalk in plain sight/sender fashion unless physically engaging with (aka victim attacks slenderman, he impales them on a tree and guts them) otherwise if not engaged with physically. Slender will slowly stalk until the subject is mentally unwell, and then taking them. This, unlike the operator, has whisp like tendrils that come from behind his back and into the air that can reach impossible lenghts but are slow. The tendrils aren't solid like Slendy's.

Wrote something and it got deleted and it's too late to fix it so here's fandom slender snippet that remains

Slendy (Fandom Slenderman), slenderfolk, can talk but prefers to just communicate telepathically, can control proxies but rather doesnt and is kinda lazy about it. Houses killers that in return that they become a proxyof a sort. Won't admit it but Slendy Is the only one of the three that care about their proxies wellbeing and will make sure his proxies can still function, though uses mental manipulation and guilt/trama tripping to keep everything in line.

Slendy is sorta bound to a forest? It's his stomping ground but he can leave (different from rosswood but there isn't a written fandom agreed name for it) which is why he needs proxies but can also appear near thoes under his control If needed or be outside of the forest on rare occasions.

Marble Hornets Spider-Man AU where Tim is the Spider-Man (Maybe named, like, the Masked Spider or something).

He got bit back at Rosswood when he was at the hospital and has been adjusting ever since. Brian is the one who had the bright idea of Tim being a Superhero.

I FORGOT I MADE THESE MONTHS AGO,  its a Marble Hornets Cartoon au! I have a main story for this but it’s a bit long so I’ll include it under the cut.

The au takes place before the whole Pocket Tape reveal in Entry #75. Jay and Tim are investigating in Rosswood when they uncover a trapdoor hidden in one of the many potholes littering the woods (which they find by tripping over it of course). Going into it they discover a room full of tv screens, old and new alike, and evidence that the hooded stranger they’ve seen has been here. One of the appliances is faintly buzzing with light, and upon getting closer the detective duo turn to static and get sucked into screen.

When they get their bearings they find they’ve been transformed into cartoon characters, and work together to find a way to escape the jumbled landscape of technicolor chaos they’ve entered. Along the way they find Hoodie (and realize its Brian), Jessica, and Alex. Unfortunately, they also run into the Operator, and it’s even more present in this static-filled world.

For this story the Operator has its origins connected to a neglected film from decades ago, it draws strength from being filled and recorded. It still maintains its vagueness as to whether it’s purposefully targeting people or if it just happens upon them, but this scenario would give me more of a chance to explore how characters like Alex and Tim, who both showed an interest in artistic careers that didn’t pan out, deal with those lost passions. This whole cartoony scenario could also remind all the characters of fond memories, and give them a bit more hope despite everything that’s happened. And everyone will have to team up together, I think that’d be cool :D

Each character is in a different animation style they have a connection to. Jay and Jessica are in styles for shows they saw as kids, Tim’s style is from a movie he watched frequently when he was little, Hoodie’s style is similar to the old-fashioned footage he edits into his videos, and Alex has a realistic style to reflect his disconnect from the others.

I’d want to redraw some of their designs since these are older drawings, but I am happy I found these again.

I have a rough idea for path 1 aka the group takes place during Marble Hornets. Percy, Annabeth, and Nico investigate Rosswood after being given a quest from Hades. They are to find the mysterious monster (the Operator) and kill it. They run into Alex and are saved by Jay and Tim. Luke is alive and ends up with Hoodie. Luke tries to help Brian stop Alex and everyone ends up meeting at Benedict Hall were they either kill the Operator OR it goes in the way of Brian, Luke, Jay, Annabeth, Nico, and Alex die with Percy and Tim surviving. :D

I was thinking of a way to shoehorn Ford into the narrative plot of Marble Hornets for my AU, without making him a background character that you can easily omit, but also without him taking a key part from another character.

I think I'm going to have him be the one to find the footage of Alex murdering that guy in the tunnel, instead of it being Jay. What I'm thinking is Symbol broke into Alex's house, stole the tape, and attacked him. Alex (who knows who Symbol is under the mask, I'll think of how to write that plot point in later) in turn starts to hide out in Ford's dorm waiting to ambush him. Ford watches the tape when he wakes up, then starts connecting the threads like 'oh shit Seth Sarah and Amy aren't just missing they're dead and Alex killed them. Ford tries to call up Jay when bam. Alex knocks him out with a wrench he found (because Ford's an inventor) and takes him to Rosswood Park, because Alex isn't about to broad daylight murder Ford where so many people are.

There Alex tells Ford that he doesn't want to do this, that he wanted Ford to be the last person who dies (apart from Alex himself.) Alex takes a long time to pull the trigger, really upset by having to kill his best friend. Ford's shot in the side and left for the Operator to take. But, Hoody (who was watching the whole time, like usual) saves Ford just in time. Ford's taken to the hospital and he calls Jay, telling him to take the tape he labelled with the Operator's Symbol. That's how Jay gets the tape.

What's the story for Welcome to Rosswood??? :00 (Also I LOVE THE HABIT DESIGN!! YESSS KING BECOME EVEN MORE DERANGED <333)

(Lmaoo thank you I wanted him to look sort of uncanny but now he's just kind of a possession nightmare)

So for the story it's my take on a creepypasta x slenderverse au. I have nothing against people who like the slender mansion au except I don't like the au itself. It mischaracterizes a lot of people and isn't a take I like on a situation like that. I think it's too friendly for being a mix of a bunch of horror stories.

So when Jeff (Jeff the killer he's a normal kid in this au) goes missing his older brother Liu (also a normal person and not a murderer) starts looking for him. After searching for a few weeks he ends up trying to find him in Rosswood a park that he lives pretty close to. While looking for his brother he stumbles apon a group of guys all wearing masks and one of them attacks him.

After Liu manages to explain that he's looking for his brother who went missing the group stop being hostile towards him and introduce themselves. There's Jay who's looking for his friend Alex, Tim and Toby who are looking for their sister Lyra, (Yes they are brothers because I hate ticcimask shippers) and Brian who is helping Tim and Toby because he's friends with them but is also looking for Alex too because he was also friends with Alex.

They all chat for the a bit and the group is hesitant to tell Liu about the operator not wanting to drag him into dealing with it but also feeling like he should know or feeling like he will just find out eventually. Brian ends up telling Liu the truth and explains that the operator likely took the missing people and that their masks help with keeping the operator away but they aren't sure how yet. Brian also tells Liu that there's a girl (Kate the chaser) after them.

So Liu joins the group and they continue trying to find their missing loved ones together. Kate notices the group getting bigger and realizes she wont be able to do anything to stop them on her own she tells the operator that she will need help and it initially does react but eventually Habit and The Rake show up to assist. Well more like to take over and have her assist them, Habit wouldn't be caught dead listening to one of the operators followers.

From there the au would mainly be framed as Toby vs Habit (good luck bro lmaoo) Tim vs The Rake, Liu vs Kate, Brian vs The Operator (good luck bro part two) and Jay vs Alex who would follow a similar character arc that he does in MH. 

Imma end it there because idek if imma actually do anything with this au. I think an ask blog would be cool with it but ngl im not sure I could keep an ask blog going long enough to get everything in this au.
