Leonardo knocked on Donatello’s open door of his office and stood patiently before given the ‘ok’ to enter.

Donatello glanced up from his project for a second to see who was at his door before getting back to work. “Come in”

“Thank you” Leo nodded as he walked inside and before he could say another word-he was quickly interrupted. “So-“

“Ah!” Donatello said with a raised hand to stop his older brother. “If you are here to ask me about this whole ‘Pussy Whisperer’ nonsense then let me save you some trouble.” The tall turtle stood up straight to his full height and adjusted his glasses. Lifting a finger, “1. Raph wouldn’t shut up about it for days on how he was going to ‘win’ the title from Sam while Mikey sulked in the corner for some unknown reason. I don’t know whether Raph was serious or joking so don’t ask me.” He grumbled with some annoyance in his tone.

Lifting a second finger, “2. I don’t know what a ‘Pussy Whisperer’ is and I DON’T WANT TO KNOW. You know Raphael as well as I do and it is probably something very explicit that we don’t want to hear about, Leo.” He rubbed his temple. “Is that all?”

“…” Leonardo closed his mouth after having it open as his brother spoke. Scratching the side of his neck. “Right. Yes the uh-whisperer thing was definitely something I was confused about and was going to ask so Thank you. I rather not know now that you say it like that.” The terrapin sighed deeply and crossed his arms over his chest.

“…”

Donatello was about to get back to his work when Leo left but when he noticed his brother was staring at him…silently. He was getting a bit more annoyed now. “Yes? What else?”

Leo was quiet for a moment longer, thinking whether he should ask or not since his noted his younger brother’s annoyance was getting stronger. “…The uh…” He pointed towards the open doorway. “The heater in my room is broken.”

Donatello:

“This family makes me want to murder people sometimes.” The tall terrapin rubbed a hand over his mouth and chin with a long heavy sigh. He was joking…maybe. Half joking.

Woah it’been a while since my first post…

ANYWAY, I’m in a very sleepy mood so here’s cuddle headcanons for the turtles

~LEO~

-This guy is so goofy

-Constantly grabbing at your ass or tights to massage them while teasing you about it

-He loves to lay on you or having you lay on him

-Lots of churring and snuggling (if you have a prominent chest it’s not yours anymore, it’s his)

-Muffled rambling about literally any topic

-Praises your body constantly (not in a sexual way, this guy is just head over heels about you and wants to make sure you know it)

-“I have no idea why you worry so much, you’re so damn beautiful”

-PLEASE take his mask off and gently caress his face markings, this guy will MELT

-If you’re not laying down he’s definetly resting on your lap ᵃᵗ ᵗʰⁱˢ ᵖᵒⁱⁿᵗ ⁱ ᵗʰⁱⁿᵏ ⁱᵗˢ ᵒᵇᵛⁱᵘᵒˢ ⁱ ʰᵉᵃᵈᶜᵃⁿᵒⁿ ʰⁱᵐ ᵃˢ ᵃ ᵗⁱᵍʰᵗ ᵍᵘʸ

-He’ll play with your hair, even braid it if it’s long enough

-Of course he will refrain from squeezing your ass or doing TOO intimate things…

-Tried to be the small spoon but miserably failed

-He does chur, but it’s really really low and hardly hearable

-If someone were ever to walk in on you two he’d be so fucking embarassed (probably hiding his face in your body)

-He doesn’t mind if you take his bandana off or not, but if you wear it yourself? Oh he’s jumping on you.

-Asks April for advice💀👍 (especially the first times you ever cuddled together)

-Overthinks a little too much about your well-being (I feel ya buddy) what if you’re uncomfortable in that position? What if you’re not hot enough? Is his smell fine? Are you bothered by his churrs?

-Please comfort this poor guy

-Is teased by his brothers (*COUGH* Leo *COUGH*) about him being so vulnerable when you’re around

-As you probably already guessed he’s kind of embarrassed around his family, but holding hands sround others is so special to him

-It makes him feel as if he’s telling the world (his family) that you’re his

-Ok let’s be real: he’s VERY touchy

-He’s basically cuddling with you 24/7

-Takes every opportunity to kiss or hug or snuggle you throughout the day

-When you two are alone he just doesn’t let go of you LIKE

-“Mike l need to use the bathroom” “OK :D” “…Le-Let me go” “wwWHY..?” “I NEED TO PEE” “I CAN COME WITH YOU”

-You’ll eventually get him to let you go for a few minutes

-He LOVES when you even slightly match his energy and also crave affection (even if you won’t admit it ;))

-Doesn’t really care where you are or what position you’re in as long as you’re both comfortable

-But if he had to choose a position he would probably like facing and spooning

-Speaking of facing—PREPARE TO BE PEPPERED IN KISSES

-Churrs happily and loudly, not giving two fucks about who hears him🫡

-Squeezes your cheeks (the puffier they are the more full this lil guy’s heart gets)

-If you’ll let him, he’ll draw small doodles on your hands or arms

-Cuddles in public couldn’t be less of a problem for him

-Just say if you’re ok with it or not and he will obey (except for a few stolen kisses in case you say no)

~DONNIE~

-Will NEVER admit how much he actually enjoys your cuddles

-Will have you sit on his lap as he works, chest to chest

-…or you laying on his chest and viceversa

-The very first times he kept everything on- battleshell included

-But after a while he allowed you to take off his mask

-The shell thing is a bit more delicate (Yk?Cause he’s a softshell turtle? God I want to hang myse-) and might take more time

-But if you play your cards right he’s throwing it out the window in a few months

-When he’s not rambling he’ll just lay there and melt in your touch

-Whether you’re running your hands through his bare shell or caressing his face and muscles he’ll just let you love him

-He finded it hard to let you cuddle him, let alone him cuddling you…

-A lot of patience is needed but will be rewarded

-Him inviting you to lay on him, rest your face on his shoulder, sometimes he will even kiss you first

-Ew I’m getting diabetes MOVING ON

-Cuddling in public is usually a big No-no, but there’s situations where you’ll get a text from him where he just—

-“Cuddles in bed later?”

-You smile at him and he acts his blush off…

So we've seen in the storyboards that was leaked or released (idk) like weeks to months ago now, how Leo might have a crush on April.

AND NOW when Mikey asks them what they would do if they'd have a normal life he immediately says getting a girlfriend.

leo headcanons because he needs more love (im totally not projecting)

Leo has insomnia, depression and adhd because i said so

He's the kinda depressed person that dissociates for hours and when his family gets concerned he plays it off as him zoning out

despite having insomnia Leo has a very detailed and intricate nightly routine (skincare, outfit change, playing music, lights candles, etc)

his insomnia is mostly because he uses his phone into the late hours of the night or because he's hyper

When he has a lot of energy at night he walks around the lair, makes himself tea or a snack, moves around his furniture, or sets small pranks on his brothers

Leo is both unable to sleep and sleeps too much. He once was so sleep deprived he took an 8 hour nap and scared the shit out of his whole family.

When leo does get sleep he's dead to the world and nobody can wake him up

Leo is able to function relatively normal even when he gets depressive episodes but he gets really bad panic attacks and dissociates

During depressive episodes he plays music every hour of the day to avoid thinking of any kind.

he has a very wide music taste and on more than one occasion has given himself a heart attack when he plays his favorite songs and the genre changes

leo bottles up his emotions like it's an olympic sport and never likes opening up. When he has to deal with doctor feelings he always tries to change the subject or talk about other people

He talks to himself, not in a "im hallucinating other people and having convos with them" kinda way but like, "i have so many thoughts running in my brains all times that i need to say my main focus out loud or i'll get distracted" way

He likes to cook with mikey and experiment with food but absolutely cannot stand washing dishes

similar to Donnie he gets texture problems. Specifically with food and fabrics. Leo will light something on fire if someone makes him eat mushy stuff or wear anything with sequins.

Sometimes when he feels really down he goes and sleeps next to his brothers

He likes to try out random things and is sorta a jack of all trades but a master of none

one of his favorite hobbies is baking or reading

leo LOVES fall, he gets completely decked out on the autumn aesthetic and lights enough candles that his family labeled his room a fire hazard.

This man zones OUT every hour of the day. The second someone talks to him for more than five minutes about something he doesn't care about he is already in a different dimension

But by god can he focus when he's reading.

he completely changes his personality when he sees a character he likes

he has a sweet tooth and chews gum every chance he can get. This has resulted in multiple cavities throughout his life.

Leo always likes to act cockey and smug but he actually has a really poor self esteem (especially after the events of the movie)

makes so many gay, your mom, and no bitches jokes that his family can actually finish his sentences and it really pisses him off

this isn't everything i headcanon him with but yeah.

Mikey and Raph are others in the local group, thinking they may share they're own water source, mikey being the newest of the group. Donnie takes Moon's place and Leo takes Pebbles' :D

I don't expect this to become a whole thing, but I have some more thoughts about it if people are interested

I have a self insert related thought-

Why aren’t there religious y/n’s?

I understand that it sounds cringe, and it kind of is, but I think I’m at a point in life where I want to see people struggle with religion in my media. Like the whole struggle of being in finding their own conflict through something harmless or in someone they care about and just watch it blossom into something that the doctrine they were raised with teaches may be either divine or demonic. I want that so much. (Specifically, if it’s Christian extremism slowly being broken down. I would advocate for other religions but I do not know much about the extremes.) The best part being when it’s neither- it’s just a fact of life. So I continue to munch on this thought, and I realized that I wanted it so badly in the TMNT fandom.

To my fellow, self shippers, think of the amount of angst and slow burn we could get out of this concept! Regardless of the interaction!!

You ain’t telling me that a person who is born and raised in the church meets one of the turtles and say “oh yeah, that’s completely normal.” Fuck no! If they’re in so deep that theyre “holier than thow” types they sure as shit are contemplating what the fuck is going on to the point of getting on their knees or paralyzed in prayer. Or- if you’re into April, the same shit can go OR If your into the flavor of her with ninja or phycic powers- depending on how it is played out it could be glorious. I’m thinking friends to lovers for the me at school or on a job and you slowly develop April as a character and the person in question thinks oh my God this person is so perfect. I want nothing but the best for them I have feelings for them, they confess she’s into it. (Bonus points if it’s lesbianism btw) and things go good and then suddenly foot clan attacks or some shit. She knocks out her powers and just as the fights over and she’s nearly done the fucking turtle show up- GOD DAMN. Is the one to knock you off of the pedestal then these fuckers are!

I don’t know man I just really want someone to make this. I’m too tired to make it myself rn.

Just some headcannons based on the drawing lolol. Hope you like the brainrot 😅

I feel like Donnie takes up smoking maybe after finding a packet while scavenging one day and just saying, "Well fuck it, what do I have to lose?" And it just becomes a luxury after that whenever they find some. I feel like Raph and Mikey would absolutely annihilate him if they found out but Leo shares one every now and then.

Even though they're chilling, I think Donnie would always have his battle shell on because it's hard to tell if they'll need to run under siege. Leo can still fight without his prosthetic.

I thought Leo's mask would be a lot more withered than Donnie's because he's always out in the field fighting and scavenging on a more regular basis while Donnie stays back to either work on tech or co-ordinate from the base.

That point leads to Leo being alot more scarred and beaten than Donnie. Donnie's only scar comes from an explosive that went off too early as he threw it and has left him deaf in that ear, another reason why he stays back. Meanwhile Leo had been literally mutilated and is constantly on the front lines.
