The arrival of your baby had been a miracle and a surprise for everyone. A human had given birth, a na'vi baby. Indeed, it was a perfectly healthy na'vi baby. It had the blue color that so distinguished the Omaticaya clan, and its beautiful blue stripes. And her luminous freckles on her little feet. She was a perfect baby, a beautiful na'vi baby. She was a blessing to the whole sully family. Jake was so excited to be an uncle for the first time, even neytiri couldn't hold back her tears when she hugged her for the first time. This was such an important event, this baby was a new opportunity for life. A mixture of two species.
Everyone could be excited, but not as excited as spider. The boy couldn't contain his joy at being a big brother. He dreamed of this, this was all he had ever asked for in his life and now he had his little sister in his arms. He couldn't ask for more from life. He had amazing parents and now they had given him a sister. He was holding his sister carefully, while playing with her little hands. The baby was much more small than the average na'vi baby, you were pretty sure she would be smaller than the average na'vi. But you didn't care, seeing your two children together made your heart fill with joy. But someone was missing…Rotxo.
Rotxo had been by your side, long before you got pregnant. The boy was so happy when he knew you were having a baby. Celebrating with spider, and the whole family. He even cared for you during your pregnancy, accompanying you through everything. He was your middle child…or so you thought. For you and for your mate. Rotxo was already part of your family. You had never mentioned it to him, but you thought it wasn't necessary. It's obvious, he was always with you. Spider referred to him as your brother and he practically lived with you in your marui. So now you feel a little worried.
After your labor, you spent some time resting in your marui. Ronal assisted with the baby's arrival. She took care of you, and left you ready for your healing process. She was surprised to see that the postpartum care was the same as that of a Na'vi woman. The only thing is that you had to rest longer. After a couple of hours you began to worry about the absence of rotxo. You knew he was out hunting with a group of young metkayina. For something like training, but they were supposed to return this morning. And you didn't know about him…he wouldn't want to miss his sister's arrival, would he?
"Ma ruk'e…have you seen rotxo?" you ask. You were lying on a kind of bed made of woven cloth, for your comfort. Ruk'e was holding the newborn baby, while spider was taking care of dinner. "Mmm no, now that you ask I don't know if the group of kids arrived" speaks your mate. You open your eyes wide. Lifting yourself up a bit with your elbows. " Ruk'e and if something happened to him?" you sound worried, that boy was practically your new son, and if something happened to him you were going to panic. Spider rushes over, trying to calm you.
"Mom…he's arrived. But he told me he wasn't sure if you wanted him to be here." spider speaks, lowering his head.
"And what did you tell him?" you ask. "I told him to come…that you wanted him to be with us…but he refused. He said this was a family thing" spider sounded a little sad.
How could Rotxo think something like that, after all this time. He was part of your little family too, even jake and neytiri had already accepted him as part of the sully family. The kids invited him everywhere, including him as part of the Sully family. Why did he feel that way about you…you had done something wrong?. You felt yourself getting nauseous and a pain in your chest began to feel.
You put your hand on your chest, your heart ached. "Love…calm down. You must not get like this, I will go find him and talk to him" says ruk'e. He didn't want you to be stressed, ronal was very clear about your care. You had to be in a calm environment. You decide to breathe and let everything calm down. You are sure that everything will work out. You had grown so fond of rotxo that you felt you owed him something.
The next day… ruk'e woke up earlier than the whole family. He hadn't been able to sleep anyway. The baby had cried many times during the night and in the early morning he was caring for her while you rested. Now as he was getting ready, he took a look at his new scenario. Y/N was holding her baby on her chest, asleep with her hair in a messy bun. She looked beautiful, while her oldest son, spider. He was curled up in his hammock, barely visible. But there was an empty hammock…and that was rotxo's. Someone was missing.
It didn't take long to find the group of guys…rotxo with a couple of friends. Some pretty nasty guys, who ruk'e knew were just taking advantage of his son. Because rotxo was too good for them. Ruk'e walks over carefully, watching as the group of metcayina boys walk away and laugh. Rotxo's eyes widen in surprise, trying not to make eye contact. "Hey…rotxo, son how are you?" says ruk'e casually, putting his hand on the boy's shoulder. Rotxo laughs a little, something like irony. Ruk'e is a bit shocked by this behavior. Rotxo has never been like this.
"Hey…Your little sister was born already and " ruk'e was about to continue talking when rotxo interrupts him.
"She's not my sister…spider's not my brother and you're not my parents. Stop pretending to care about me" rotxo speaks, wiping away with his arm some tears that had begun to build up in his eyes. Ruk'e steps closer and bends a little so that he is now at the boy's level. Rotxo felt that his presence was no longer needed.
"Who told you that?" asks ruk'e, watching as rotxo takes a look at the group of boys he was hanging out with earlier. "Those idiots don't know what they're talking about… do you know how much we need you back home?" ruk'e watches as rotxo looks up, he looked so helpless.
"Why don't you come with me… and meet your 'sister'… because she is your sister too" says ruk'e getting up to guide rotxo. He was still a bit shy, he felt that he was not part of the family anymore.
After a short walk, they both arrive at the marui. Rotxo enters worried, but excited. He was lying if he said he didn't want to meet the baby. He had waited all those months to meet her. When he walked in, he saw how Y/N was sitting, with spider sitting next to her. He watched as she looked up, and gave him a big smile. "My rotxo…come here" you speak, stretching out your arms. Rotxo runs quickly, and sits down next to you. Hugging you. "I'm sorry…I didn't mean to" rotxo was crying, feeling ruk'e sit next to him, placing a hand on his back.
"No need to apologize…look" you lift the baby up, so rotxo can see him better. You can notice how his ears perk up and his tail begins to wag in excitement. The baby had its little eyes open, raising its hands to try to touch Rotxo. "Can I?" asks the boy, and you laugh and pull the baby closer so he can take it in his arms. The excitement he was feeling at this moment was something he had never felt before.
"Spider…hand me that bag over there" you speak, spider reaches for the bag and hands it to you. Everyone looks at you curiously. Watching as you pull something out of it. It was a bracelet, just like the one everyone in the sully family had. Including spider, ruk'e, jake, neytiri, your nephews…everyone. It was symbolic, it was a way of saying you were part of the family. You take it and show it to rotxo. The boy is a little surprised, feeling ruk'e take the baby from his arms.
"Come here, come closer" you speak, watching as rotxo obeys. Coming closer to you, bending a little. You take his hand and place the bracelet on him.
"I think it's formal now…don't you think so, son?" you speak, seeing how rotxo's eyes at no time leave you. His tears were starting to run down his cheeks. "It's official…. I told you that you were my brother!!!" says spider, hugging rotxo from behind. At that moment, you see how jake and neytiri enter the marui, accompanied by your nephews. They were all happy, and you could see how they were holding things to celebrate. Hugging Rotxo, welcoming him. You had told Jake about your plan, and he immediately accepted. "It's going to be a little celebration…but we'll make your welcome celebration" says Jake, hugging the boy. And ruk'e joins them.
You stand quietly, watching the whole scene. After so long…after everything, you finally had what you had longed for…a family.

~ ROTXO X METKAYINA! READER ~
Oblivious pt. 1
synopsis: Ao'nung doesn't want you, his younger sister to get into a relationship. He only entrusts you to a few others, Rotxo being one of them. He's sure his best friend wouldn't ever get any ideas, but oh is he wrong.
part 2 | part 3 | part 4
Tumblr media
warnings: kissing, making out, Ao'nung being a possessive protective brother, confessions, first kiss, aged up to 18
SFW | 3k words
~~~~~~~~~~~~
"How many times do I have to tell you?"
Ao'nung, your older brother, growled, his voice laced with anger.
"You're not going to hunt with the boys unless I'm going too. You will stay here with me. I don't want you around these guys, do you understand?"
It was the same discussion almost every day. Your brother didn't like to see you around any other men. In fact, he scared off whoever would come too close to you.
He had shielded you from every man, not wanting you to end up heartbroken. After all you were the chief's daughter which came with the disadvantage of having many men being interested in you. None of them dared to speak a word about it though. Whoever had the nerves to only look at you for a second too long knew they automatically signed up for a good old asskick by Ao'nung.
He entrusted you only to a few people. Neteyam, his mate, was one of them. The oldest sully sibling had grown on you as well, especially since he tried to calm Ao'nung down everytime this discussion occurred. But Ao'nung was stubborn. He did not accept that you were old enough to make your own decisions. It was already tugging on his nerves to see Tsireya falling for Neteyam's hot headed, chaotic brother. He didn't need someone to get you into trouble as well.
"You're not my father! I can do what I want!" you yelled back at him. Both of your hands were clenched into fists as he cocked an eyebrow, arms crossed in front of his puffed chest.
"I'm only protecting you."
You couldn't help but scoff at his words. "Protect me from what?!"
Neteyam came a bit closer as he saw the two of you arguing again and asked himself silently if this would ever come to an end.
"From other men. I don't want them to get any ideas about touching you or even worse. You'll thank me for this when you're older-"
Neteyam decided to get between the two of you before you would strangle Ao'nung, so he gently pushed himself in between you two.
Seeing Neteyam only brought up another point for you.
"So I can't even have my first kiss but it's okay for you to fuck around with your boyfriend before you were mated?!"
Neteyam gently took your hand and tried to loosen up your fists, not taking your words personally. He understood both sides, being a protective brother himself.
"Y/N, I understand your frustration but you have this argument going on every day. Maybe we can find a solution-"
"The solution is for her to stay away from boys!" Ao'nung interfered, earning a smack of his mate's tail against his stomach.
"Ma'onung, you're not helping. At least try to show some empathy." Neteyam hissed in a low volume, snapping his head towards his mate and turning back to you.
"Why don't you go for a walk, hm? I'll try to talk to your brother."
You didn't answer but only ripped away from his hands. Soon you turned on your heel, leaving the two mated men to themselves. The frustration did not cease to rush through your every vein as you heard Neteyam trying to talk some sense into his thick-headed husband while you rushed off.
To cool your head off you decided to head to Rotxo's marui. You came here often when you were too frustrated to deal with Ao'nung. Without a word you rushed in and to your surprise the only man you were actually allowed to talk to was currently present as well. He could tell from your expression what had happened.
Rotxo had just gotten his tattoos a year ago, shortly after Ao'nung. He had finished his iknimaya and was a hunter now as well. He sat on his mat, holding a piece of jewelry in his hand which he had just finished up.
His eyes followed you as you silently plopped down onto the mat next to him, legs crossed, face covered with both hands.
A deep sigh left his lips. Seeing you like this always made him feel awful but he was glad that his home was a safe space for you. It showed just how comfortable you were around him and knowing this eased these bad feelings at least a bit.
"Looks like Ao'nung doesn't want you to go hunting with the guys, huh?" he mumbled quietly, offering a few soft rubs across your hunched back.
"Of course not. I'm not allowed to because he's not going and he doesn't want me to be surrounded by guys." you answered with a mocking undertone. Rotxo couldn't help but huff at your voice.
Ao'nung was simply unfair. He was allowed to mess up, behave like an idiot, make out with his boyfriend before mating but you couldn't even have anyone interested in you. You leaned your shoulder against the metkayina man which only made him stroke your back with more firmness. His other hand reached out to your neck, carefully tracing a finger over your soft teal skin.
"He's just making sure you're not getting hurt, y/n. I'm sure he only wants what's best for you."
These words weren't just hard for you to hear, but also hard for him to speak. Since he was Ao'nungs best friend, he knew that he trusted him. Ao'nung was sure that Rotxo would never do anything to you. He was certain Rotxo had too much respect for him to even think of you, but oh was he wrong. There wasn't a day the mere sound of your name in his head didn't make him smile from ear to ear, Rotxo was just an expert in hiding his feelings.
Seeing you made his heart flutter, the butterflies in his stomach almost starting to turn into a painful sting in his guts whenever he told himself that he couldn't have you. Ao'nung would kill him on the spot, which left him with no other option to hide all these feelings for you for years. Sometimes it got unbearable to conceal what his heart had been screaming and yearning for, but what could he do? Talk to Ao'nung? No, that wasn't an option. But seeing you like this made him weak.
"He doesn't want what's best for me. He's just- argh! I hate him so much sometimes!" You spat, dropping your head against the man's collarbone.
"I'm gonna be alone, Rotxo. All alone without a mate, without being loved or even getting kissed once in my life..."
Rotxo couldn't help but smile sheepishly. You didn't even know how wrong you were. He caressed your shoulder, his free hand hesitantly reached out to your cheek, stroking over your pouted cheeks with care.
He closed his eyes and enjoyed having you so close, and somehow he wished you'd notice how fast his heart was racing beneath his ribs.
"That's not going to happen, I'm sure of it." His voice was so gentle and soft even if his heart was about to break his bones by its heavy pounding.
You rested against him for a while longer while he tried to cheer you up with his loving touches. It made you wonder.
"How do you not have a mate yet? You're such a sweetheart and you finished your iknimaya, you can choose a mate. Don't you have anyone you like?"
Rotxo huffed, feeling his heart and face warm up at your words.
"Well, I do like someone. But I can't choose them."
You looked up to his blushed face, confusion written all over your visage. "How come? Don't they like you?"
"I don't think they actually acknowledge me as a potential mate." He answered quietly, looking into your eyes. At the start of his evolving feelings he found it very hard to look at you without bursting out in emotions but after all these years he had gotten used to hiding it.
"Then you should tell them! Maybe you're wrong and they will see you?"
You suggested, being oblivious as ever. It was somewhat cute to him that you didn't understand what he was talking about, so he decided to take it up a bit.
"Her brother would kill me, y/n."
You frowned at his comment, not noticing how his touches became slower and slower until they came to a halt.
"Oh, is it like with Ao'nung and me? He doesn't want her to find a mate?"
"It's exactly as you and Ao'nung." Rotxo smiled, seeing you mentally going back to rethinking phase, breaking your skull to find a solution.
"Hmm, how good are you getting along with her brother?" you asked, starting to wonder who he might be talking about. You didn't know any siblings that weren't both mated already. In confused you immensely.
"He's my best friend." Rotxo smiled sheepishly, but it turned into a sweet giggle as he saw how you were still unable to connect the dots.
"I thought Ao'nung is your best friend?" you asked in confusion, feeling your head almost aching from thinking too hard.
"He is."
"You have another best friend that has a younger sister? Is it Kaoru? No, wait, his sister is mated already. Hmm, Tahei maybe? No, can't be, you're not that close are you?" Rotxo couldn't help but laugh by now, you didn't understand anything anymore.
"Huh? What's so funny?" you asked in all innocence, seriously not understanding why he was laughing so much. As he calmed down a bit, he cupped your cheeks softly and looked onto your big, shining eyes.
"You really don't have a clue who I'm talking about?"
You only shook your head, to which he smiled to himself.
"Well, maybe you can guess again. She's gorgeous, has the prettiest hair, a sweet voice, she's a lovely girl even though she fights with her brother all the time over the same problem, her brother will be next Olo'eyktan... I think you should know now."
Your mouth fell open as you finally figured out. At least, you thought.
"Tsireya is already dating Lo'ak!" you hiss-whispered, to which the man only laughed some more.
"You possibly can't be that dense, y/n."
"Huh?" Wondering what he was talking about, you listened attentively as he took a deep breath.
"I like you, y/n."
Never before had you considered it. Ao'nung himself would've never considered this. To you, Rotxo was your brother's pure and sweet best friend. Never in your life had you even dared to think about him in this way and if your brother would find out, it would be over for Rotxo.
You only stared at him in silence, suddenly feeling strange about all the time you had spent with him. But not in a bad way. It was the first time in your life you had heard someone confess to you. A warm feeling was spreading in your stomach. Something changed about the way you saw him instantly.
"I'm sure I'm not the one you wanted to hear this from but-"
"I'm happy to hear it from you."
What were you supposed to do now? You had never been in this situation ever before. Having gained the knowledge that someone, not just someone but Rotxo, a very good friend loved you was a wonderful feeling. It made your stomach tingle and your skin burn in the places he was still touching you.
"How do you feel about it?" he asked carefully, hoping to get a positive answer and he did.
"Wonderful, actually. I've never felt like this but... I want this to never go away. I feel so...warm around you, I can't explain."
He couldn't believe his ears. All these years he had held himself back and didn't tell a living soul about his yearnings and now you finally knew.
"I've been wanting to tell you for years. It hurts to see you to sad and frustrated all the time, thinking you'll never have someone by your side, but I've liked you for years. That's why I don't have a mate. I love you, y/n."
Eywa, it felt so indescribable to hear this and so unbelievable for him to finally say this. But apart from all the consequences, it felt great.
Some time passed in which you simply stared at the man, unable to say anything until you eventually found the right words.
"I see you, Rotxo."
Your heart was throbbing so much it almost ached. It felt like your heart was about to fall out of your chest.
"I see you, y/n." he answered with the biggest smile while his hand still caressed your soft cheek.
You leaned into the touch, letting your head rest against his big hand.
His eyes only repeated what he had said to you with every second they looked into yours. One of your hands copied the way he caressed your cheek, then your other hand also melted against his face.
Your eyes fell onto his wide lovely smile, then back up to his eyes.
A sudden urge overcame you as you pushed yourself closer to him. The butterflies in your stomach intensified as your thumbs traced over the stripes and freckles on his cheeks. You adored the sight of him so close to you, tracing two fingers over the lines of his tattoos on his forehead, down the bridge of his nose, his lips and eventually his chin.
"Say, Rotxo... Have you ever kissed someone?"
He felt his ears flushing at your question and they stood up straight to you for a moment before tilting backwards and laying flat against the sides of his head.
"No, I haven't...I've saved this up for you all the time..." he shyly admitted, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear.
"Would you like to kiss me now?" you whispered, teeth tugging at your lower lip. His eyes lightened up at your words, sending a shiver down his spine. He knew Ao'nung would kill him at the spot if he did so, and his considering thoughts were written all across his visage. Of course he wanted to, but bringing himself to do so was another thing.
"Can I kiss you?" you asked, bringing your face closer to his. Only eywa knew how good it felt to nudge his nose against yours as you both closed your eyes. His breath was shaky against your lips as he leaned his forehead to yours. So many years he had waited for this very moment but something in the back of his head told him how wrong this was, but he did not listen. His decision was made.
"Yes." he breathed out ever so quietly, so you closed up the last inch that separated you from him and pressed your lips against his. You could feel your guts toss and turn in the best way possible as he kissed you back. Both of your arms found their way around his strong neck, fingertips tracing over his tense skin. Rotxo finally found the courage to pull you closer by your waist, heart fluttering as his arms wrapped around you.
The kiss itself wasn't practicality perfect but it felt so unbelievably great to kiss him. As you pulled back you watched his half lidded, lovely eyes being glued to your lips before he took a deep breath to engage in another kiss. And another, and another. Time passed in the blink of an eye as you two sat there until the eclipse neared, all wrapped up in each other embraces, gasping for air in between lovely, innocent kisses. There was not an inch on your face that had not gotten all showered in his love. He seemed to have a weakness for kisses right below his ear as you found out, hearing his breath hitch and feeling his body shudder everytime you did. It had taken a while until you both managed out how to kiss. You couldn't help but whimper quietly as you felt his tongue slipping over your bottom lip before his teeth gently tugged at the soft flesh, leaving you completely breathless. The moment was perfect until-
"y/n! y/n?"
Neteyam's voice called out through the village. He seemed to be looking for you. Only then you noticed that it was petting dark. Had you really been here for hours?
"Fuck.." you mumbled after drawing away from Rotxo immediately, panic rushing through your veins. "What am I gonna say?" you cursed under your breath before you both got up on your feet and you peeked out. Neteyam and Ao'nung were on their way heading straight to Rotxo's marui, guessing you'd be here.
You turned to Rotxo, who seemed to be just as stressed as you were, if not even more but he cleared his throat and tried to hide his nerves. He had done so all these years so he'd do the same now, as he always had.
"Hey, we got this, okay?" he ensured, placing a soft kiss onto your head before he left his marui to face the two husbands. They seemed to be relieved as they saw you stepping out of his home shortly after him, trying to adapt to the calmness Rotxo showed.
"I was beginning to worry about you! You could've told me that you were going to stay away for longer!" Ao'nung started to scold you immediately but you only pursed your lips.
"She was with me all the time, there's nothing to worry about." Rotxo interfered, which seemed to calm Ao'nung right away.
"Good. I hope that is true, because if I find out you've been out with the boys you're gonna be grounded."
You only rolled your eyes. How ironic. Rotxo couldn't help but smile, even though he hated himself for basically lying to his best friend. Ao'nung trusted him and yet he felt as he had betrayed him in some way. He could only watch you getting dragged back home. Neteyam didn't say a word even though he had definetly noticed your plump, swollen lips.
Thinking about how Rotxo would take good care of you after a stressful day.
He would lay down on his back and tell you to sit on his face and as soon as you do, he goes to town on you, slurping up all the sweet slick you’re producing.
“You taste so sweet, like my favorite fruit, tiyawn,” Rotxo spoke before placing his mouth back on your dripping cunt. You throw your head back in pleasure, soft moans leaving your mouth as you feel all the stress leave your body. He knew just how to make you feel good.
You wanted to return the favor, you can’t have all the fun, he deserved to be taken care of as well. Rotxo allows you to turn around, he goes back to tasting you after you get in the right position. You move his loincloth to the side, releasing his cock.
Precome leaks down from the slit, you waste no time licking it off, It tastes bitter and a bit sweet. You start off by licking from the base to the tip before attempting to put his length in your mouth. Rotxo moaned on your clit, sending vibrations through your body.
He would slide two of his fingers in your cunt as he sucks on your bud, only caring for your release because that’s what really mattered to him.
His wish comes true as you clench around his fingers and he continues to rut his fingers into and your legs start to tremble as you squirt all over his mouth and fingers, you moan onto his cock, feeling it twitch in your mouth.
You continue to suck as you stroke his cock, massaging his balls a little bit and he releases his hot come into your mouth, you stroke it some more to make sure you got everything.
“Feel better now, tiyawn?” he asked as he let out a chuckle, wanting to make sure his sweet girl was taken care of and you most definitely were, in your eyes, Rotxo and his tongue were the perfect combinations of a stress reliever.
A/N: My first Rotxo piece! A lot of firsts happening this month lol. I decided to use him for this prompt super last minute. Like I had a plot, but no clear character and somehow, he just seemed to really fit for what I wanted. Honestly, credit goes to @xylianasblog for inspiring me to try my hand at writing him. We need more Rotxo content. So here it is lol. I hope you guys like what I did! All characters are aged up.
Pairing: Rotxo x Fem!Metkayina!Reader
Warnings: Thigh Riding, Kinda Fluffy?
Tumblr media
If there were ever such a thing as a pure soul, Rotxo was definitely it. His fluffy hair, big sweet eyes, and that damn cute smile he always had, it was too much for your heart. And it certainly took you by surprise when he had started courting you. He was always the more quiet, reserved type so you never really realized that he had taken any kind of interest in you. You always imagined your feelings were one-sided so it made your heart soar when you found out his intentions. The one little catch, though? You were a bit…impatient. You were completely head over heels for Rotxo and you wanted to seal the deal immediately. And while he was eager to make things official with you, he also was very traditional in the sense that he wanted to wait until he could properly court you and mate before Eywa.
“But Rotxo…” you whined pouting your lip and flashing your big, sad eyes up at him.
He’d hold your chin with his fingers and kiss your lips lightly. “You are very cute, but we must be patient, yawne. It won’t be much longer now.” His voice is sweet and his gaze is loving, but damn that only made you wetter. You’re almost positive he can feel it from where you were sat in his lap.
“But I want to feel you. My heart is already yours. I want you to have my body too.” You say shifting yourself around to where you were straddling his lap and you can feel the tense muscle of his thigh against your clit. The friction makes you gasp and your eyes soften even more looking at him.
His eyebrows raise feeling you not-so-subtly rock your hips against his thigh trying to relieve some of the pent-up frustration in your core. To your surprise, though, he doesn’t try to stop you. Instead, he cups your face with his hand and runs his thumb along your lower lip.
“My poor, impatient syulang. It’s not time yet. But for now, take what you need like this.” He flexes his thigh under you and your head falls back a bit with a whimper. You move your hips more openly on top of him and the slide gets easier the wetter you get, your aching cunt drooling through your tewng and onto his thigh.
“Mmf! Rotxo…” your eyebrows scrunch together feeling a strange mix of arousal and shame swirling in your chest.
“Shh, I know, tìyawn. It’s okay. Just let me watch you, yeah?” he says sweetly letting his hand fall from your face down to your hip. His fingers squeeze at the soft flesh where your hip meets your thigh and his eyelids grow heavy.
His tewng is starting to get a little tighter than he’s comfortable with and you can feel his stiff length bumping against your leg when you move. It makes more blood rush to your already throbbing clit knowing that he was getting turned on watching you helplessly hump at his leg.
“More, Ro…please…” you whimper out getting lost in the never-ending sky blue of his eyes. He bites his lip and tentatively uses his fingers to slide your tewng to the side so that your bare cunt was on his skin. Your eyes squeeze shut and your head falls forward so your forehead is against his. Your lips are parted in panting breaths still dragging your slippery pussy over his taut muscles. You can see a dark spot starting to form between his legs where he was no doubt leaking precum from his poor neglected cock.
A flutter jumps from your core up through your belly and makes your body tremble.
“Oh, Rotxo, I’m going to cum like this!”
He can barely manage any words to properly respond to you with. His eyes are love drunk gazing at you like a deity that he gets to witness and worship. He watches as you fall apart on top of him and he can feel evidence of your climax dripping down his thigh when you finally fall boneless into his body. He rests a hand on your back and rubs small, comforting circles into your skin.
“Feel better?” he asks a hint of a smirk in his voice.
“Mhm” you hum out nuzzling your nose into his neck with a smile. You feel a twitch against your leg and realize that he’s still in need of relief too. You pull your face back to look at him only to find his pupils are wide and his face is flushed.
Now, it’s your turn to raise your brows at him and his eyes dart away from you. “It’s nothing. I’ll be fine.”
“Don’t be silly, Ro…” you say palming his thick erection over his tewng. Eywa, he may not be one to brag, but he absolutely should. “Let me take care of you.”
You sat with Tsireya, taking a small break from your duties, watching as Rotxo and Aonung worked on repairing nets.
Your eyes tracing over every inch of his lean muscle and intricate tattoo designs, he had grown into a very fine young man. His hair was now a bit longer, and his body more filled out in all the right places.
You were absolutely mesmerized by him just as you have always been, but instead of acknowledging them you always buried them deep inside to keep from embarrassing yourself. You could help but smile as you watched him work, such a simple thing that he made so attractive.
“Tell him.. please because watching you devour him with your eyes is not okay.” Teased Reya even though she was right. You did devour him with your eyes and sometimes you’d catch him doing the same before he quickly looked.
“I refuse. He’s so untouchable, he would never even think about being with me. He would never see me as a potential mate.” You mumbled softly.
Tsireya just let out a small sigh before looking over at the boys who were setting down the nets they just finished working on. You turned your attention back to Rotxo watching as he stretched, every muscle in his body flexing, the act caused you to press your thighs together before looking away before the smell of your arousal could fill the air around you.
You stood up quickly just as the boys approached, and without a goodbye, you hurried off toward your Marui. “Oh god..” you muttered.
Rotxo was like Aonung, the village's golden boy of the village but unlike the rest of the young adults, he’s remained untouched, innocent in every aspect of the word. His innocence made him perfect as you weren’t the only one who thought so. Many young women of the village wanted to be his mate and he’s turned everyone down kindly, no one has even known the boy to touch himself even during his ruts.
You by far weren’t a saint in any way but you had a little experience here and there enough to know that you wanted to be the first to please Rotxo and pleasure him in ways no one has before. Shaking the thoughts away from your head you sighed softly, finally paying attention to your surroundings you realized you were inside your marui. Setting down your things you laid down on your bed, hands immediately covering your face.
Letting out a loud squeal you eventually pulled your hands from your face, moving them down to rest on your stomach gently tracing your soft skin. You had taken the time to let your mind wander momentarily.
The soft touch of his hand rough calloused hand rubbing along your thighs lightly as he slowly moved them up towards your heat, you couldn't help it as you squirmed around underneath him, soft breathless whimpers escaping past your parted lips.
He chuckled softly as he watched you, loving the way you reacted to him and he had barely even touched you yet. You whined softly as you felt his thumb pressing over your covered clit, the acting causing you to raise your back from the ground slightly.
A breathless “fuck..” slipping past your lips as your thighs enclosed around his hand, your small hand gripping at his forearm tightly. “Please.. need you so bad..”
He let out a small little coo as he watched you, the sight of your eyes heavy with lust and lips parted as your chest rose and fell with soft pants nearly had him giving him in. Almost.
“No.. now be a good girl and stay still for me, I want to explore and worship your body like I’ve been craving too.” He murmured, leaning down to press soft kisses down the valley of your breast before continuing. “You’ll be a good girl for me right?” He teased.
A throat cleared from the entrance of your marui before your thoughts could take you deeper into your wondering mind, you sat up with a gasp your eyes immediately locking onto Rotxo heavy lidded one’s as he stared down at you a small smirk on his plump lips.
“I can smell you.. everywhere.” He mumbled softly. “I came to check on you. You left before I could speak with you.” He explained as he walked closer to you, his eyes slowly trailing over your figure.
“Ah.. sorry I just needed to get away I didn’t feel good.” You tried to play it off as something small, but Rotxo knew better than that. Once he was in front of you, he crouched down, eyes still looking over you before looking up at your face. You stared back at him, a look of confusion on your face. This wasn’t something new, he usually stared down at you with such an intense look, you always wondered where his mind went. For someone as innocent as him you wondered if he knew the power that simple look held when he stared at you.
“I... like you a lot. I was coming to ask for your permission to court you.” Rotxo said confidently, pouring out his deepest desire.
You were stunned, quite honestly you were in shock, you let the words sink in before nodding. “I-of course i would love for you to court me.” you stuttered over your words, doing your best to contain your excitement.
“Good. I wish to spend time with you tomorrow just the two of us.” He stated to which you simply nodded. Taking the nod, he quickly got up and hurried out of your home; you watched with a small smile wondering why he hurried away so quickly. You felt giddy, extremely happy that he said something of the sort, your feelings all over the place before you fell back into the bed squealing. You couldn’t wait for the next day to arrive.
»——————⋆◦ 𖥸 ◦⋆——————«
Once morning arrived you wasted no time preparing yourself for the day ahead by clearing your body, wearing your prettiest pearl top and netted loincloth, and even trying a different hairstyle. You wanted to be your best for your date with Rotxo, the thought of being alone with him made you nervous yet needy at the same time.
You knew nothing would happen given his inexperience, but you couldn’t help but let your mind wonder, sadly you didn’t get far when he called your name before entering your home.
“Good morning, are you ready to go?” He asked you while taking his time to look over your appearance. He gulped slightly before looking away, he was feeling himself becoming flush and for a moment his desire to take you grew.
“Yes!” You answered quickly before grabbing your bag and walking over to him. “Where are we going?” You questioned letting your curiosity get the best of you.
“Somewhere special now shush and walk with me.” The slight demand had you listening instantly as you both left your home. The walk to wherever he was leading you was quiet and relaxing, you loved how comfortable you felt in his presence. Rotxo had always been easy to get along with, he was nice and very friendly despite being a hunter. One would think he’d prefer the domestic life a bit more.
“Just a bit more.” He said softly so he didn’t disrupt the vibe.
You let out a small hun as you looked around the small, lush forest area. You always enjoyed the sight of the small forest, the pretty flowers and small animals that roamed around always excited you to no end. Yes, you enjoyed the oceans and its life but the forest was like another world of life hidden away by the trees. After a bit more walking you arrived at a small pond that was surrounded by beautiful and vibrant flowers of all shapes and sizes, your small gasp was all Rotxo needed to know you enjoyed where he had brought you.
Taking a seat near the water you continued to look around, your blue eyes taking in everything before looking at him as he sat beside you. “This is pretty! Thank you for bringing me here, Ro, when did you even have the time to find this place?”
He looked thoughtful for a moment. “One day I was playing on asking you sooner if I could court you, but I wanted it to be special, so I went exploring and I found this place. I’ve always had feeling for you, I was worried you never felt the same especially because I am..” he trailed off.
Your ears perked up as you leaned close, "It's okay. I don't mind." You placed your hand on his thigh, giving it a gentle squeeze. "I can... if you'd like. I mean." You mumbled softly.
Blue eyes shifted to meet his gaze, your hand snaking its way up to the crotch of his loincloth. You smiled at the small whimper that escaped his lips, before your hands moved to untie the fabric, you flashed a cheeky grin, those soft blue hues watching his features. You couldn’t help but think he looked so handsome, and you could only imagine the sounds he made.
With his loincloth pulled away completely exposing his semi hard member, you inhaled a deep breath as you let your eyes take him in. You looked up at him waiting for any signs of him wanting you to stop, and once you found none you let your hand graze along his length gently. You had never taken charge like this but the feeling of him stiffening up in your hand made you crave more in a way you never imagined.
It was quite warm, and your thumb began tracing the veins of his length. You watched as he placed his hands on the mossy ground, fingers digging into the ground as he moved, opening his legs a little more to give you easier access to his length.
"You're such a good boy, hm?" You murmured, your gaze averting down to his cock whose head was glossed over in pre-cum. You found pleasure in the way he reacted to your touch as he whimpered a little, squirming just a bit. You leaned down placing a soft kiss to the tip of his member before letting the flat if your tongue lick away at the pre-cum, letting yourself taste him.
He gasped softly above you causing you to squirm as you pressed your thighs together. “Ah, such a sweet soft boy. I’ll make you feel good I promise.” You whispered softly before his tip was engulfed by the heat of your mouth as your lips wrapped around him. He was taken by surprise, his hands leaving the ground to grip at your soft curls.
“W-wait you’ll...” his words were cut off by a small moan as you let your tongue swirl around the top before slowly taking him deeper into your mouth, you were impressed by his size, loving how thick and long he was. You wanted to take your time with him as you moved your head up and down slowly, letting your tongue lick along the length.
Rotxo sat there squirming around and whimpering quietly, his fingers tangling themselves into your hair tugging on it before he pushed your head down causing you to gag a little. The sound has his hips bucking up into your mouth slowly letting know know that whatever bit of control you had is now gone.
“S’good.. your mouth feels... oh fuck...” he moaned.
He began thrusting his hips a bit faster into your mouth, holding your head down as he fucked into your mouth at a steady pace. His head falling back, eyes closed, and lips parted as he let himself finally give into the pleasure he had been missing.
Your nails dug into his thighs, steadying yourself as you relaxed your mouth, letting him slide deeper and deeper hitting the back of your throat with each of his thrusts. You could tell he was close from the way his cock throbbed and the thought alone excited you. You wanted him to fill your mouth with his cum, you wanted to drink up every drop he had to offer.
The sound of his moans and whimpers grew breathless as his thrust began quick and sloppy, you took the initiative. Moving your head up and down quickly swallowing his entire length. The sensation began to much for him and he came with a shout, holding your head down on his cock as his seed shot down your throat. It didn’t give you much time to prepare as your throat was filled, and after a moment you pulled away strings of saliva connecting you to his member. You coughed a little gasping for much needed air as your water eyes found his dazed ones, you smiled shyly.
“Beautiful.” he mumbled; the sight of your drool covered face making him hard once more.
“Next time. there’s so much we can do.” you whispered quietly doing your best to ignore the ache between your legs as you stared at his panting form, chest heaving, cock laying limply against his body.
“You... look handsome.”
GRAVE, PART TWO! ♡ (2.2k) part one.
Tumblr media
ao’nung x f! reader.
COMPENDIUM: when secrecy begins to turn potent love into a wilting flower.
WARNINGS: kissing, cussing, fluff and angst.
LOLA SAYS: bit of a necessary filler before the real meat of the story comes into play. i hate this so please leave some constructive criticism. reblogs are also deeply appreciated.
Tumblr media
your hands tremble as you intertwine three strands of dried sea grass together. your breathing ragged, as another piercing gash of pain struck though your chest. alone on the sand, in the dark. wondering how it had all lead to this. crying harder, you tug the necklace off your throat — shells and stones came flying off as well as the clasp. you stare at what you’ve done. then, you stand. leaving the remains of it on the shore. the waves will take it, as they took him. it was all over now.
but i’m getting ahead of myself. allow me to divulge into the ever so tumultuous tale of how you got yourself here, in the first place.
“marek? fucking, marek?” ao’nung was pissed.
“what was i supposed to say? it was the best i could come up with.” so were you.
“sure, or here is an idea. you could’ve told them the damn truth!” ao’nungs most favoured eminent statement he had repeated perhaps a dozen times within the precedent nine minutes.
this fight wasn’t going anywhere.
you’d never seen ao’nung so livid. typically, in times of conflict — he was relaxed. composed and stoic. staring down his opposer and indulging in ample beats to elect his proceeding words. now, he was agitated. sweating, rasping, desperately imploring you to hear him. to see him.
you had other ideas. “i won’t ao’nung. i won’t lose my family.” his face creased in a despicable manner. he was aching. “i cannot take what i did back. i know this. but please. your family will come around. they must.” his fists were clenched. his gaze, full of self loathing. it was like he was trying to convince himself. he wasn’t that bad, was he? “ao’nung. look at me.” you interject. he does. “i told you what this was from the start. we die with this. if you want me. you can only have me in secret.” his anger arose once more. “that does not mean you had to go and tell your brothers that you are with marek.” he spoke the boys name as if it were venomous. seething with refutation. his jaw was clenching. he was huffing. moving closer. “i could not have said anything else. telling them the necklace was from tsireya or kiri would not have explained the secrecy.” your eyes brimmed with tears. silence filled the marui. he put his big, calloused hands on your face. bringing you closer. you looked up at him. “fine. we’ll make it work then.” he strained. his words were hollow. desperate, meaningless words from a tired man. his face discredited his truce and underlined the falseness of his acceptance. anguished words from a despaired boy. clinging so urgently to what you had. to you. he was lying. he didn’t want to do this anymore. yet, you mirrored him. you as well, were a demoralised and exhausted girl. thus, you professed. made as if you gave him any credence, and nodded. he pressed his lips to yours — hard. an affirmation, an alleviation. to the grave. why did this feel like goodbye?
contrary to ao’nungs hellish distate, marek was a decent guy. excellent hunter, friendly, cordial. much esteemed by the metkayina. most importantly, he possessed the approval of your family. telling neteyam you and marek were courting was a rash decision. while listening to your siblings ululate and whoop at the counterfeit communiqué was insufferable — the consequences of this aforementioned action bore far heavier consequences. for starters, after the festivities took place, you had to go find marek. explain the situation, get him on board and cross your fingers in a slumbering prayer that he would keep your secret. to summarise it briefly — it went a little like this.
“huh? you told your family what now?” marek’s amusement should have served as reassurance, but it was rather aggravating given the position you were in. “yes, okay. i understand this situation may seem ridiculous, comical even. but i need to know if you’ll help me.” you reply curtly. “i don’t know, yn. might ruin my good boy reputation. being seen around with a fire cracker like yourself.” his side smile faltered when he saw the look of pure defeat you had plastered on your face. he could tell too, you were incredibly tired. “i’ll do it.” he nodded. a sigh of relief you didn’t know you had been holding escaped your lips and for the first time in hours, you allowed your shoulders to slump. “thank you, shit. thank you.” when you opened your eyes you were met with a peculiar peer. marek had stopped polishing the ilu riding geer, and stilled his hands. “look i know it’s none of my business but are you sure your family will–” you don’t let him finish, “marek. please. don’t.” he nods again in acknowledgement, this time looking at his feet. “so you’ll really do it?” you break the silence. marek’s bright smile returns on cue, “sure, i have some time to kill.” grateful, you hug him. he returns it with one arm, rubbing the small of your back. you really needed a hug.
the lie was told. you, marek and a very frustrated ao’nung set some ground rules. a summary is of this is simply unecessary because the vast majority of the interaction consisted of you pushing at ao’nungs chest to keep his fist away from a chipper and upbeat marek. he made sure to mumble “fuckin’ hate perky people” four times not so under his breath. a little to release, and you think a little to underline how different him and marek were. a silent hope that you’d forever prefer him over the boy. you would. oh, but if only others would too.
invites and redundant swooning flooded the next week of your life like a fountain of torment unleashed of restriction. a new pair, one day to be mated. how dazzling. you quite literally wanted to disappear. your siblings, always insisting you bring marek along to any given activity they could possibly conjure into existence. neteyam and lo’ak were keen from the beginning, but there was conflict between you and kiri after the data disclosure. justly, she was upset you hadn’t told her. it took her a few days to get over it.
during hang outs, marek would sling an arm over your shoulder, stand next to you. that’s as much physical contact as ao’nung was willing to allow. although, willing is rather potent term. ao’nung kept his eyes locked on you both every minute of it. watching neteyam laugh with marek, his jealousy spiked. neteyam was all over marek, eager to get acquainted with his little sister’s future mate. making brotherly jokes, asking questions, getting protective and warning marek that if he hurt you he’d tie his tail into a knot. all ao’nung could think was that it should be him. it should be him getting to know your family, it should be him with him with an arm around you, laughing as kiri told him your embarrassing childhood stories. despite insisting to be there every time you were all together, he wouldn’t say a word. chest puffed up and arms crossed. his eyes full of something noxious. regret, envy, pain. a lethal combination. to say the least, the lie was difficult to keep up with.
marek was a good sport. he was extroverted, likeable and easy to communicate with. all qualities that ao’nung did not possess. marek was amiable. organically positive, a light hearted guy. particularly good spirited. you couldn’t stand him. the urge to roll your eyes every time his affable dialogue erupted into song with absolutely each and every person you would cross paths with was becoming unfathomably ardent. finally, the walk of shame had come to it’s termination. you had arrived at your marui. “well, i think today went good.” marek smiled at you. you thought you might vomit. shame, poor boy. “yeah. thank you again.”
when eclipse ultimately came to beckon the day to its end, you were finally freed. lying on ao’nungs chest. his tact felt so different. he was always so, so tense. heartbeat racing, not with excitement — but with the turbulence of his distress. you let your fingers graze over his stomach. he had lost weight. guilt plagued your heart. “what is this doing to us?” you whispered into his skin. he looked down at you. his churning countenance causing your eyebrows to furrow. “you only look good with me.” he stated sternly. his lips were in a tight line. “i know that. you think i enjoy this? any of it? i can’t stand guys like marek. you don’t need to convince me.” you say. exasperated. pretending there were no problems only indented a void between the two of you. ao’nungs eyes soften for the first time in what feels like forever. he sits up, and by effect of aftermath, you do too. “thank, eywa!” he gasps, throwing his head back and laughing. how you missed that booming, boyish laugh. “i was worried, my love. worried that you might end up preferring him. i know i am not as he is.” you smiled sweetly, the reverberations of that energy were ramified with the saccharine gesture of ao’nung smiling back at you. “are you kidding? do you have any idea how thankful i am that you are not as he is? i never would have fallen in love with you.” ao’nung tilted his head as he listened. his eyes glazed with honeyed affection. “walking with him is the worst part–” you stop to giggle, “that boy is friends with everyone! he is nice to people he is not even close with. honestly a nightmare.” ao’nung releases a content sigh. “so you would not rather a go lucky boyfriend like him?” he asks, a glint of insecurity shimmering behind his smile. “never that.” you rub the back of his wrist reassuringly. you feel his hands under your thighs as he tugs you onto his lap. “yeah?” he was smirking now. you put your hands around his neck, playing with the baby curls at the back of his scalp. “you are my only.” he kissed you, he kissed you like a man starved. his tongue evoking the stars to descend and decorate your cheeks. you stayed like this, bathing in the shine of being alive in one another. but eywa had different plans. your limbs entangled as he hauled you into his feathered rib cage, inking his finger prints into your torso — the actions were possible, passionate. but for how much longer still? he was growing tired. his bones were withering from the rotting burden of secrecy.
that following afternoon, carving drift wood by the docks. neteyam was sat beside you, as he skilfully engraved shapes into the pot he was sculpting, he spoke. “listen, about marek.” you rolled your eyes. marek was all anyone wanted to talk about. “are you sure about him?” neteyam finished. you snapped you head in his direction. “what? i thought you liked the guy.” you all but exclaimed. “i do.” he responds cooly. “then what’s this about?” you demand again. “i don’t know, just doesn’t seem like your kind of guy. that’s all. always saw you with someone a little more–” “standoffish?” you inquire. “i was going for reserved. but i guess standoffish, sure. a guy who values exclusivity. someone less… approachable? you were always fond of feeling special.” you raised your eyebrows. your brother knew you well. “but as long as you’re happy, yn. honest. just remember picking a mate doesn’t have to be about making us happy.” you smiled. a true, warm smile. “thank you, brother.”
you pressed a kiss to his cheek. and flew to your feet. you had to find ao’nung. running past the docks and through, you finally reached the peer. you spot him. standing in the water with a tsurak. stroking the animal’s spiked spine. and making his calling sounds, probably attempting to attract more. he had riding geer slung over his shoulder. when you reach the water the splashing makes him turn. “ma ao’nung!” his face scrunches up before he’s catching you mid fall. what were you doing here, hands on him, in broad day light? “i have an idea.” you beamed. “we’re going to tell them?” ao’nung lit up with hope. “what? no way. i was just thinking i could end things with marek now. i have an excuse.” ao’nung didn’t attempt to hide his disappointment. turning his body away from you he let out a passive “ah.” you pulled away from him too. “thought you’d be happy.” it came out a lot more aggressive than you meant it to. “i’m sick of this now.” his voice became low. he was practically growling. “don’t be that way, come on.” you press a kiss to the side of his mouth. he was about to say something, when suddenly his eyes widened. horror, relief, shock. and horror again. you shifted to look where he was looking. tsireya. tsireya holding a basket full of shells not 3 feet away from both of you on the shore, her mouth was agape in stupefaction. her jaw may as well have hit the sand. with a thump, she drops the basket. and dashes to her left. you and ao’nung swiftly snap your heads to look at each other. shit. what now?
Rotxo and you had became entangled in each others lives since you were both five years old, you didn’t know- or perhaps forgotten on how it happened, but you were glad it did.
How could you not be? Rotxo was a kind, caring, and overall, a sweet boy. Of all the times you've spent together he could read you like a damn book just from a micro change in your expression.
Sometimes you would tell him a random fact about yourself; favourite flower would just slip past your mouth, then weeks later he comes back from his training carrying the exact description of the flower you had told him, saying it made him think of you.
It was endearing, but you had liked to think his actions were nothing more than him being a good best friend. That was it, nothing more, nothing less.
But as you grew into teenagers, then came in the changes.
At first you had found yourself thinking of him more than usual, when you'd get a glimpse of him you automatically had a smile on your face on the way to greet him. Not just that, you admired him more, finding ways to slip compliments in your conversations.
You found yourself making ways to just hang out with him whenever he was free, since he was officially a free-diver and a hunter now.
Every time you sat beside one another- engaged in conversation, every brush of his hand or even his thigh on your skin would send your heart into a frenzy.
It left you forcing yourself to act normal on the outside when in fact you had just realized what it was; you had fallen in love with your best friend.
You had a good streak of keeping your feelings towards him, denying it at first, but now you’ve come through a whopping 6 months.
Overtime you heard the chatter around you, the young men were bound to find mates already. There were many fine young men in the clan, some had already chosen, some are yet to choose.
Like Rotxo.
Funny enough, that was the one topic you never bought up to him. Love.
Now you had cursed yourself into the habit of thinking what it would be like if you were with him- if you were together- or even sometimes married, daily. It would come in little scenarios that would send your cheeks darkening and fighting a wide smile on your face.
Sure, back then you remembered joking back then as kids that you two would marry the other since no one understood the other best than them.
But that was in the past, things change whether we like it to or not. Every time you find Rotxo greeting other girls, it left a sting in your heart.
Of course, few of the Metkayina had also fancied you, but no one had your heart quite like Rotxo did.
The only one you ever told your feelings about Rotxo was Tsireya, Aonung’s sister and Rotxo’s other best friend.
Tsireya was happy when she had found out you had harboured feelings for the young hunter, but you were quick to shut it down, saying that she probably shouldn’t be too loud and that he might not even see you in that way.
But as time ran, you almost found yourself running out of patience on dealing with your feelings that you just wanted to explode. Rotxo noticed your change in behaviour, prompting you to ignore him often than you liked.
This saddened him of course, but he never prodded, he only gave you time to come to him yourself.
And there came a time when you finally did- exploding.
It was in the night when you had made up your mind, you were finally going to tell him how you felt, and you were going to take his answer like a champ, whether good or bad.
But now as you stared at him as you just explained how you felt all these years, adding on how you’ve just been waiting for him to make a move while you kept on giving him signs- he still didn’t.
But that was just because Rotxo had also been thinking of the opposite of your actions, just actions of a best friend that he too had fallen in love with.
Yes, he tried talking to other girls to get rid of his thoughts of you at first, but it only worsened as he hated how it felt- it felt like he was cheating on you when the two of you weren’t even together! It’s crazy right?
So, hearing the words that came out of your mouth stunned him, leading him to stare at you in a dumbfounded manner, eyes wide, mouth agape.
You had feared you had already taken a spear through your friendship, tearing it apart as it also began to pierce through your heart.
Gulping, you tried to fight back down the tears of embarrassment, he was about to reject you and you just had made a fool of yourself in giving him this opportunity.
In an attempt to fix whatever debris of friendship you had left, you spoke.
“Just please be my best friend right now, not the guy I just confessed my love to."
You spoke, voice cracking. You wanted him to let you down once and for all, but your heart also ached for his comfort. It was maddening.
Rotxo loads for a moment, slapping himself mentally as he realized he was just staring at you that had you taking it the wrong way.
“What are you talking about?” He asked- okay that was a little too stupid.
“I never should’ve expected that we could’ve been something more- it was very dumb of me, I’m sorry.”
No, no you were not dumb, to him, he himself was the one who was dumb in not catching up on your signs sooner, but now as you stood in front of each other, electricity sparked in his veins as he shook his head, grin on his face as he grabs both youf wrist, pulling you to him.
“You are not dumb, (Y/N)! I have been in love with you for the longest time! I’m the one who’s dumb considering I haven’t noticed your hints before! But now, no hints or any other bullshit- I know I love you. I’m sorry for taking too long.”
A fresh wave of tears rolled down your cheeks, but this time it was joy, a dream come true.
Rotxo move his other hand to cup your cheek, wiping your tears.
“What?” You replied, taken aback by his confession, thinking you had made if all up.
He chuckles, face coming closer to nudge his forehead against yours.
“I said let’s be dumb together,” He joked, but in his next line his voice softens as he pulls his face away, looking at you.
“I’m in love with you too.”
Auntie Sully: New tail, new family
Tumblr media
Pair: Auntie sully reader x sully children x Rotxo x spider
Warning: None, cute <3
Request: (@kennleespain) Is I possible for you to do one where the new kids find out that aunt y/n has a mate. And they meet him for the first time. Over time he notices that Roxto follows his mate around and his response. (Anon) You mentioned once the Roxto was like aunt y/n sully’s tail. Can you do some scenario of that and the other kids noticing and bringing it up.
Note: I am going to adopt as many children as I can, because I can and I want to!!!! -auntie sully
Avatar masterlist | Part 2
Tumblr media
The first time the metkayina kids met their new aunt's mate y/n, was after the boat crash. The sully's were already part of the clan and jake was able to bring ruk'e to live with the family. The man was his younger sister's mate, but he was also his best friend (jake joked that he was his bestie, don't ask why<3).
Everyone would accept him right away, ruk'e's personality is kind and calm. So he would take his time to greet each child. Of course, next to him would be a jealous spider. He might be big now, but he was still his father. And he didn't want to share. You'd give him a tug on his hair. "Spider…come here!" you'd scold spider, grabbing him by the arm.
Ruk'e would notice the relationship all the boys have with you. Tsireya wants to be like you, ao'nung always tries to show off his skills to show he's the best. But rotxo, he just likes to sit next to you and talk. This would fill him with curiosity. Because a boy his age is not doing things his age.
From what he could tell, Rotxo had cut down on his activities just to be around you. And yes, he could confirm, Rotxo was your new blue tail. If you went to the beach, he was there. A walk in the nearby jungle, he would accompany you. Weave a basket, he would look for the materials. Of course, always with the help of spider. He loved rotxo, the bond these two boys had created was adorable.
"Mom…can rotxo sleep over today" spider would ask, you would accept. Giving your mate a look. Ruk'e would accept, watching as both boys made some kind of giant hammock. They were playing and laughing. Ruk'e could see your eyes sparkle as you watched the scene. You always wanted spider to have a brother or sister. It was no secret that it was almost impossible for you to have a baby. Even the baby you had hoped for months ago before everything took a turn for the worse could never come.
Ruk'e would be curious as to why Rotxo would be so attached to you. And I think this makes a lot of sense. Someone has seen rotxo's parents, he was always alone. And he used to get sad when the kids would make fun of his fondness for aunt y/n. Not knowing that he had no one. This was revealed, one day when all the kids were talking. Lo'ak made an off-hand comment, and rotxo ran out of the place.
Ao'nung would get upset, and explain to them what had happened. Rotxo's parents had died when he was little. He never met them, so from that moment on he lived in a common area, where there were other children going through the same situation. Spider heard this, and felt more attached to Rotxo. The two of them shared more in common than he thought.
Of course, this came to your ears. Your heart breaks to hear the story. That's why Rotxo was looking for you. He felt safe with you, even though he was much bigger than you. You gave him the love and attention he craved. He didn't have to look elsewhere for attention, because he had it in your family, even if it was just for a little while.
That same week, you would invite him to your home for more dinner. You would even prepare a special hammock for him. "Look rotxo…right next to mine!!!" says spider, bumping thumbs with spider. Ruk'e would take his role very seriously, taking his two boys to help him be his labors. Rotxo enjoyed the new company he had. He felt loved and safe.
One afternoon, after being with you all day. Rotxo would be getting ready to leave. Saying goodbye to spider. You would be approaching. "Hey…don't you want to rest here today?" you speak up. "I don't want to intrude," Rotxo says. You would take rotxo's hand. " Darling…I don't mind you being my new tail, huh? What's up?" you say. Rotxo would laugh, and get a little shy. Ruk'e would get up from the floor, inviting the boy to stay with them. "Come on son…come here!!!" says ruk'e. The boy would sit next to you, you would stroke his face. "My pretty new little tail" you speak, feeling rotxo settle in next to you as he always did.
SFW | 3.8k words
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ao'nung, Neteyam, Lo'ak and Tsireya had still not returned. Yet as time passed, Rotxo's anxiety grew. To ease his thoughts you two had come up with an idea. You would tell your parents about it or rather, he'd ask for their blessing. It wasn't exactly what he needed but it was a step into the right direction. After all, you were the olo'eyktans daughter and it would be the least he could do after these months.
"Do I look good?" he asked quietly, wiping over his arms in case there was any sand left sticking to his sweaty skin. You only nodded with a wide smile as you were leading him towards your parents' marui where you still lived, officially.
"Wonderful as ever, ma tiyawn." you giggled as you watched him checking his entire body, fumbling with his warrior gear so it would sit neatly in place across his chest. "It's just my parents, you don't have to stress yourself."
Your words didn't help though. His nervous hands sank into his hair, making sure every curly strand was in place. He didn't say a word but instead repeated the script he had come up with in his head over and over.
"Ma Rotxo..." your voice was a lot more calm now as you placed a reassuringly caressing hand onto his back. "You look perfect. You're gonna be fine."
His tail was flicking from side to side in nervousness, ears turning at every little sound. Your hand that layed on his back switched to hold his trembling hand instead. His palms were warm and sweaty, leading you to peck his cheek quickly.
"What if they won't accept me?" he asked with a frown, squeezing your hand gently.
"They will, trust me. They're not like my brother." you answered with a wide, reassuring smile before you slowly dragged him into the marui. Your mother was already there, preparing some ointments. Her eyes shot up into your direction, but her gaze was soft and gentle. There wasn't a hint of anger or disappointment in her look.
Rotxo formally greeted her with his free hand, placing two fingers on his forehead and lowering them into her direction. "I see you, tsahik."
Your boyfriend was a sweet soul but you had never heard him talking like this before. His body was only tensing up more as her eyes fell onto his other hand which was still held by yours.
"Mother, I greet you." you smiled, thumb stroking over the knuckles of Rotxo's shaky hand.
You could feel his grip on your hand tighten. He was seriously frightened, knowing your mother could be hard to deal with. Ao'nung had to have his stubborn, thick skull from someone after all, and it definitely was not from his father's genes.
Rotxo tried as hard as he could to not fumble around with anything, yet it was easy to see that he was feeling unwell just from being in the tsahik's presence while holding your hand.
She gestured you both to sit and you followed her request, sinking onto your knees swiftly.
"Why have you come to me?" her voice was soft just like her expression. It was soothing, even if it was a known fact that she could snap in a mere second.
Rotxo inhaled deeply, trying to focus. He didn't want to stutter in front of your mother. He wanted her to see him as the brave warrior he was.
It took him a lot of confidence to look into your mothers eyes and say "I came to ask for your permission to- to choose your daughter y/n as my mate."
Ronal didn't seem surprised, yet her quick answer shocked you.
"No."
Your eyes widened as she spoke so quickly, feeling your heart drop into your stomach right away. She immediately noticed how Rotxo's jaw dropped, and so did yours.
"What a foolish question" the tsahik huffed, offering a genuine smile before clarifying her answer while Rotxo's grip around your hand tightened in shock.
"No, Rotxo. You don't need my permission, nor my husband's. You're free to choose, you're a strong warrior. Of course you can choose my daughter."
Talking of your father, he walked in with a wide smile. He didn't fail to notice that you held your boyfriends hand.
You heard Rotxo exhale heavily, as if a stone had been lifted off his chest.
Tonowari had picked up some of the conversation on his way in and decided to sit with the three of you.
"We're glad you came to ask, but there is no reason to. You deserved yourself your position in our clan, Rotxo. Y/N is in capable hands with you, we've known you since the day you were born." your father said softly, almost proud. His daughter had found herself a good man.
"To be precise, we were hoping for you to choose each other." Ronal added, to which you only smiled brightly.
"You're an honorable man Rotxo, I appreciate that. We're happy for you two, it was about time. Say y/n, how do you feel about him?" You met your fathers eyes, almost squinting due to your cheerful expression.
"I love him dearly, father. He is all I could ever ask for and more." you admitted, shyly gazing over to your boyfriend who could only beam from ear to ear.
The olo'eyktan gave an approving nod and so did your mother.
"Then you don't need to ask for our permission. We love and support you." he said calmly before you hugged Rotxo's strong arm tightly, resting your head against his shoulder.
He caressed your head gently, earning a sweet smile from your parents.
"We couldn't have asked for anyone else by her side. A brave warrior with a big heart, that's exactly what we've wished for you." Your mother's words meant a lot to you, they made your heart pound wildly. Knowing they were completely fine with your decision was a big game changer.
"On top of that, you're Ao'nungs best friend ever since he could think. If there's anyone he'd approve of it's you."
Immediately, you could feel Rotxo tensing up. The mood change was drastic.
"Talking about him..." you mumbled quietly, eyes falling onto the floor.
"He doesn't want me to see anyone. He doesn't know yet, but if he does-"
Before you could end the sentence your father interfered. "He will have to respect your decision. We are your parents and we highly approve of this, there's nothing your brother could do."
You noticed how your boyfriend just stared into nothingness, head filled with countless possibilities of what Ao'nung would do to him. "Except for killing me...", Rotxo whispered in mental absence.
~~~
After eating together with your parents you decided to retreat to Rotxo's marui. His mood had been lifted by the reaction he had gotten from the olo'eyktan and tsahik. He had come to the conclusion that he didn't want to hide any longer. He had to face your brother and tell him in order to live a happy life with you.
Rotxo was smiling from ear to ear knowing he had your parents' approval.
He intertwined his fingers with yours, pulling you closer to his body. You beamed at him, seeing that he was a lot more calm already. Not just calm, but actually at peace with the fact that he was dating you. He couldn't wait to give himself to you completely and be all yours.
That smile on his face was so pure and genuine and sweet. It was all you needed to make your day brighter. Your heart was pounding in your chest as his free hand cupped your cheek, pressing a loving, chaste kiss onto your soft lips.
"Ma y/n..." he mumbled as he nudged his nose against yours, planting another kiss on your forehead.
"Yes, all yours" you whispered against his lips, closing your eyes just as he did.
"I belong to you only ma tiyawn, you're my mate for life."
Rotxo kissed his way down to your shoulder, kneeling down at the entrance of his marui and pulling you onto his lap gently.
"Soon, y/n. Soon we'll be mated."
While he wrapped his arms around your waist you placed both hands on his muscular neck, tracing along the stripes of his skin.
"I can't wait to do so." you whispered with a wide beaming smile, feeling him pressing your body against his own. Even if you had been with him for some months now, his actions had never failed to make your heart skip a beat.
Just the thought of making the bond with him caused your face to heat up, even more as you reached out for his queue, bringing it forward over his shoulder.
You pressed a few careful kisses on the braided hair that protected his sensitive nerves. Rotxo shivered at your action, a shaky breath escaped his lips. His ears flattened against the sides of his head, cheeks flushed. You didn't fail to notice how his fingers dug into the flesh of your back, urging your body closer towards his own.
One of your hands ran down his braid, lifting the ends up to your face. Closely watching the winding tendrils, your eyes widened. Rotxo observed you in awe, feeling your breath on the end of his queue. He felt his heart throbbing in his chest, his throat, his every vein.
He trusted you with what you did, even as you brought your own queue forward, also revealing your glowing ends. It made your heart flutter even more, seeing your tendrils so close to his. You just wanted to tilt your hand over to watch his nerves intertwine tightly with yours so badly.
"I see you, y/n..." Rotxo's voice was barely just a breath, not even a whisper. His words almost drowned in the sound of the waves beneath his marui.
"I see you, Rotxo, only you."
Gently as he could he took the end of his queue into his own hand, eyes locking with yours. He seriously concidered just making the bond with you now since you had already decided to be open about it from now on anyway.
Eclipse was near already. His freckles were glowing bright, just like the ends of his braid. "I want to be yours..." you whispered so full of love, eyes still fixating on his.
"You're already mine in my heart ma y/n. But... If you want to do this now..."
"Do you want to?"
Rotxo's eyes fell onto his tendrils which he still held close to yours, yet they weren't touching. Only an inch separated them. His smile grew even wider, his inner conflict settled a bit more as he remembered your parents words.
His hand that rested on your back went up to your face, cupping one of your cheeks softly.
"Of course I do. I love you, tiyawn." he breathed out in excitement, only to get interrupted by a loud roar from the distance.
As you looked up, you immediately spotted four ikrans coming closer, swiftly gliding through the air. It didn't take you too long to recognize the riders. Your brother, Neteyam, Lo'ak and Tsireya were returning.
Your heart dropped into your stomach immediately and you quickly dropped your queue, making some space in between the metkayina and you. Rotxo's head snapped at the familiar sound of the ikran. He froze in place as your brother came closer on his newly acquired mount, landing right outside the marui. Neteyam, Tsireya and Lo'ak followed soon after. Roxto could only stare as Ao'nung dismounted quickly, furiously charging at him, his chest heaving in rage.
Rotxo began to shake all over, his expression was practically screaming for help as all survival instincts were shutting down at the shock of the future olo'eyktan ripping him to the ground by his shoulders.
"I've trusted you!" Ao'nung screamed from the top of his lungs, "You're my best friend since we were children and I've asked you for one thing! One fucking thing!" His nails were threatening to pierce the skin on Rotxo's shoulders. By now Neteyam had landed as well and you both tried to get him off of your helpless boyfriend who didn't even know what to say or do. He only lied there, violently pressed against the floor of his marui.
"Ao'nung, stop! Get off, please!" you cried out, trying to shove yourself between him and your boyfriend while Neteyam helped to rip his mate away from the smaller man.
"Ma'onung, let him go, let them explain!" Neteyam grunted as he pulled his mate back, yet Ao'nung simply drew his dagger as quickly as he had thrown himself at Rotxo, holding the sharp blade ready to attack.
Your eyes teared up in panic as you saw Ao'nung like this. Tsireya and Lo'ak also landed, rushing to your aid, helping Neteyam to get your feral brother off. Once they managed to keep him back and make him drop the weapon you covered Rotxo's body completely, shielding him from the future olo'eyktan as much as possible.
The man beneath you still couldn't say a word, he looked as if he was about to pass out from the shock.
"How dare you touch my sister?! I would've sold my soul for you! I've entrusted her to you and only you, out of all people!"
You swallowed heavily, still protecting Rotxo. A lump was stuck in your throat.
But soon Ao'nung noticed that Neteyam wasn't even shocked one bit.
"Don't tell me you knew about them?!" he barked at his mate who only lowered his head in shame, "How long has this been going on?!"
Your eyes met Ao'nungs ones. His glare was filled with anger, disappointment, fury, hatred and sadness. "We've been together for some time already. The last time we fought was the day where it all started. I love him brother, and he loves me. Our parents agreed on-"
"Do you think I care about their opinion?! I'll be the next olo'eyktan and I am not going to allow this! Besides, he's my best friend! I thought i could trust you Rotxo!"
Just now, your boyfriend's tense body sat up a bit, yet he was unable to look at Ao'nung at all.
"I've never wanted you to find out like this..." he breathed out with wet eyes as he slowly gathered enough confidence to crawl up to his feet and get up to face your furious brother.
"I wanted to tell you all these years that I like her... But how could I? I knew you'd react like this..." His complete body was still trembling.
Ao'nung forcefully ripped one arm out of Neteyam's tight grip only to push you away and swing his tightly balled fist at Rotxo's face once, then twice. In shock you caught your boyfriend as he stumbled backwards, swiftly catching him in a caring, protective hug.
"Years?!" Ao'nung repeated as Neteyam tried to calm his mate and hold him back again.
"You've liked her for years?!"
Rotxo took a deep breath, trying to calm himself while he held his aching jaw and cheek, grimacing at the pain.
"You're weak. You're a nobody, you're nothing but my shadow and that is where you belong. You'll never be a man and you'll never be a worthy mate for my precious sister."
Ao'nungs voice got suspiciously calm all of a sudden. He didn't come down from his rage though, he was only getting even more serious and and deadly. His words felt like a sharp blade between your boyfriends ribs, but he had to swallow the pain together with his tears.
Everyone noticed the change in Ao'nungs voice, knowing what it meant, especially Rotxo out of all of you. Seeing your brother like this finally brought up more courage in him. He knew he had to speak his mind loud and clearly in order to attempt to affect Ao'nung.
After a deep breath he unclenched his teeth and spoke up.
"Yes Ao'nung. I've loved her for years but I've kept it down because you're my best friend and I respect you. I have chosen y/n as my mate for life. I regret lying to you and seriously felt bad for hiding my feelings, I am sorry. But I'm not going to hide it any longer."
Your ears stood up at Rotxo's words and even Ao'nung seemed to be perplexed. Never before had he heard his best friend standing up for himself like this, or for anything. Usually he was quiet, shy and rather in the background.
"You heard him, Ao'nung. I've made my decision as well." A proud smile was spreading across your face, seeing your brother only clench his teeth in response. Now Neteyam decided to calmly chime in as well.
"They're happy, Ma'onung. They really love each other. I don't think any other guy could treat her better than he does, I've seen him caring for her."
Ao'nungs head turned to his mate swiftly, the look of disappointment not ceasing one bit. "We will talk about this later, Neteyam te Suli." was all he growled in response, focussing back to you.
His eyes landed on you soon and even if he hated to admit it, you indeed looked happy with him. All of this explained why you didn't complain about staying with his best friend all the time. It explained what Rotxo was hinting at, or rather what he tried to avoid in conversations without lying directly. He had already wondered why your mood had changed so quickly, why you were always beaming.
"I'll ask this once."
Ao'nung ripped himself away from Neteyam, Tsireya and Lo'ak, slowly coming dangerously close to his best friend.
A few seconds passed in which the two metkayina men only stared at each other, chest to chest, before Ao'nung continued to speak.
"Have you or have you not mated with my sister?"
Again, there was this suspiciously calm voice, the thunder before the lightning.
Rotxo looked up at his towering friend, meeting his narrow, blue eyes. Oh, how much he had hoped to never see this look, but he tried to sound as confident as possible.
"I thought about it but I couldn't. I wanted to tell you first and not bring shame about y/n."
A few seconds passed in silence, a time in which Ao'nung couldnt help but remember that he was his best friend for a reason and he appreciated his honesty and his caring persona.
You still stood close by, watching Tsireya place a hand on Ao'nungs back.
"Ao'nung, you have to let go..." she mumbled, and Neteyam interfered again as well.
"They're happy. Let them be."
Ao'nungs eyes fell upon you as he parted his lips to speak to you again.
"If that is true, I don't want you to come crying once. Don't ever come to me for advice. Don't ever complain about him. You have chosen your own fate."
Your eyes lightened up at his words. Did that mean he accepted your choice?
But before you could ask, his venomous gaze returned to you boyfriend who still faced him directly.
"Have it your way, but that does not mean that I forgive you, Rotxo. I have trusted you and I won't make that mistake again. You're dead to me."
You watched as Rotxo flinched, sucking in the air through his teeth. He had hoped he'd never have to hear those words and so did you.
Without another word, Ao'nung picked up his dagger, returned to his mount and disappeared. Lo'ak and Tsireya followed, just like Neteyam. He himself knew that he was the one who'd have to calm him down all night and started to mentally prepare for that.
"I'm so sorry...." your boyfriend breathed out quietly, his body trembling again as he sank to his knees.
He had lost his best friend. You couldn't blame him for crying all night long, and the next day, and another one. Rotxo barely left his marui. He barely even ate for days, only curled up on his mat and replayed all these memories with Ao'nung he had collected throughout the years. He wasn't himself anymore, but neither was your brother. He avoided you at all cost and you could hear him loudly argue with Neteyam many times throughout the whole village. Sometimes Neteyam came over to check up on you, bring you food and water, or just to talk to you and take a break from his husband.
It took a good while, a lot of persuasion and hard work to get Rotxo back on track again. Eating, sleeping, or even just smiling, but as time passed he had to accept Ao'nungs decision as well.
As he returned from his hunt one day, there was this lovely smile again. You immediately noticed and ran over to him, pressing yourself against him.
"I've been missing this look on your face!" you giggled, kissing his temples while both hands traveled over his drenched skin.
"Your brother talked to me today." His smile only grew bigger at his own words. He threw his catch and his gear to the side so he could lift you up and hug you completely. You closed both legs around his hips as he did so, returning the cheerful expression.
"What did he say?"
Rotxo buried his head in the crook of your neck, kissing your soft skin a few times.
"Only congratulated me on my catch, but it's a good start."
"Was he talking about me or the fish?" you giggled as he covered your neck and jaw with more and more kisses.
"Not sure, maybe both?" he smiled against your skin as he carried you further into the marui.
As he layed you down onto the ground, his eyes mustered you completely, taking in every little detail about you. That lovely smile, the glowing freckles along your skin, how your glossy eyes narrowed due to your beaming visage.
His hands traced over your sides while he leaned down to capture your lips in another kiss. Your legs closed tighter around his hips as you kissed him back, eyes falling shut. Rotxo seemed a lot more confident now, but also a whole lot happier. His heart was racing as his fingers lovingly held your thighs. He squished the soft flesh of your legs, causing you to hum into the kiss.
"I think I'm ready." he whispered against your lips as your hands cupped his tattoed cheeks.
"I want to mate with you, ma y/n."
At the edge of the forest of Awa’atlu sitting on a rock, you and Neteyam sat shoulder-to-shoulder watching the eclipse. Though you’ve been trying to convince him to make more friends and get out there, he always found his way back to you.
“I swear,” you watched the tides crash against the shore. “I never took you for the shy type.”
“I am not shy,” Neteyam quipped. “I just like being alone.”
“Would you like me to leave?”
His head snapped in your direction, his mouth beginning to scowl until he realized you were smirking. “You’ve been a good teacher. You deserve to reap the rewards by being in my presence,” he laughed as you shoved him, careful not to do it too hard that he fell off.
The truth was Neteyam was drawn to you because of your nurturing nature. He would never outright tell you, but it was something that he sought in people—a calmness he sensed in your soul. Yet, you entertained his little teases with just the right amount of sarcasm. He knew he wanted to be your close friend on the first day you helped teach his family about the Metkayina way of life. You accepted him almost immediately, even after he gained a few stern looks from you when he started teasing you about a certain someone a bit too soon.
That certain someone being Rotxo. On that first day, Neteyam said he noticed the way you stared, which you followed up with a concerned, is it really that obvious?
The answer, it was only obvious to Neteyam because he went through the same thing back home. When he told you this, you were able to read the solemn look on his face and he opened up about the woman waiting for him in the forest, the one he was beginning to court before they were forced to seek uturu. You both bonded over the pain of belonging to someone you couldn’t be with at that moment.
You’ve been best friends since then.
Neteyam sighed, idly fidgeting with his hands. “I miss home.”
“I know,” you whispered, unable to provide further comfort than a pitiful patting of his back. “You should tell me more about it.”
“I’ve told you many stories already,” he flashed you a flat smile, appreciating the sentiment. “I don’t know if there are any more.”
“What about your ikran?”
“I already told you how I tamed him.”
“You never told me your first flight. Neytiri said it’s the most important.”
He lightly scoffed—more of a laugh, really—he should have known you would get around his deflections. “We almost got lost,” he began.
“Really?”
He hummed. “I got carried away with trying to do all kinds of tricks. Flying just felt…good—It still does.”
“How did you make your way back?”
“Father found me,” he chuckled, “I almost got scolded. But I think he saw how happy I was.”
“What is it like? To fly, I mean.”
“It feels freeing, like the whole world is at your disposal.” He shrugged.
“I would like to fly sometime.”
“Seriously?” When you nodded, he grinned. “I could take you.”
And so, you both made a deal. Tomorrow morning, at dawn. Needless to say you were thrilled to see what the fuss was about.
When the time came, though, nerves got the best of you. You woke up two hours before the sun was fully in the sky, and had to leave your marui due to your own sleeplessness.
Coincidentally, Neteyam was also awake, feeding his ikran. He was at the cliff’s edge near your usual hangout spot.
Climbing up the small hill, he sensed your presence behind him, your gaze falling on his banshee that was giving him the death stare. “It’s been a bit difficult for him adjusting to the food here.”
You were silent, it was far too early to be having conversation. Instead you hesitantly extended your hand toward the animal, feeling its tough skin with a gentle graze under his chin.
Neteyam’s eyes widened—his ikran didn’t like to be touched, he should have warned you. But imagine his surprise when the banshee leaned into your touch, not away from it.
“I should have known he would like you,” he broke the silence.
“Hm?” You looked back at him, still scratching the animal.
“You’re good with animals. That’s why you’re a teacher, right?”
“I suppose.”
His lips curved into a soft smile. “Are you ready?”
With a scrunch of your nose, you flashed him a nervous grin. “Promise not to drop me?”
“Only if you behave,” he adjusted the straps on the banshee.
“I think I’m ready.”
“Let’s do it!”
Neteyam got on, helping you get your footing, and you settled nicely behind him. He made tsaheylu.
“Hold on to my waist,” he grabbed your arm and placed it around his middle. “Don’t let go.”
Without warning, the ikran lifted off the ground, the flap of its wings leaving behind a cloud of dust. On instinct, you squeezed Neteyam’s torso with both of your arms, and the animal shivered beneath your thighs as he must have felt it, too.
Your eyes closed and your head pressed up against his back, hiding from the wind. It was then you noticed he had tied his hair so it wouldn’t get in your face. Laughing at the realization, your eyes opened naturally—you were caught off guard by the beauty surrounding Awa’atlu.
The sea, clear as glass, reflected Eywa’s sun carefully placed in the sky as it came out of hiding. The light bounced off the wavelets in the water, illuminating the homes tied up under the large roots of the trees. Speechless, you were.
“Like the view?” Neteyam asked, his ikran circling near the reef, giving you a panoramic glimpse of your home.
“This is crazy,” you beamed.
Yet, when he turned his head to you, he found a faraway expression.
“You good?”
“Yeah, yeah.” You shook your head. “That’s Rotxo’s marui. Near the edge. It’s further away from the others.
At the mention of your friend, his eyes softened. He knew Rotxo was adopted by the leaders of the clan, but he never pushed to know about the rest.
“The Olo’eyktan gave him a separate marui after his parents…you know. So he had a private place. He’s in there a lot.”
You weren’t sure if you were right to tell Neteyam. At this point, words were just coming out without any real thought. Maybe you were lightheaded from the sheer height.
Veering away from the last part, he still kept on topic. “Are you ever gonna tell him about your feelings?”
“No.”
“Eywa, you are oblivious.” He muttered. “It is not good to dwell on your feelings alone, you know.”
“What else am I supposed to do? Court him?”
“Exactly right.”
“No!” You slapped his back lightly, and the ikran screeched. “What do I even give him?”
“What does he like?”
“He’s been wanting a new armband. He’s outgrown most of his, but—“
“But?”
“I don’t know how.” Neteyam felt the shame radiating off you at not having learned an important skill.
Going back to where you both took off, he landed on the grass smoothly.
After a beat, catching his breath, Neteyam said, “I’ll help you.”
-
From a young age, Rotxo hoped that being by your side would inevitably get you to see him. Not that he didn’t value being your friend, or that he was only with you because of an ulterior motive, no—he genuinely had this incessant need to be in your presence, and the realization that those feelings were more than platonic was just another side to the coin.
After that epiphany, he started a necklace. Multiple, actually. Perfecting the craft with Tsireya’s help to ensure it showed how much he loved you; his own marui was just the place to practice since nobody bothered him.
He was sort of dealt a bad hand in life having lost his parents as a child, but he was picked up by Tonowari and Ronal who took him underneath their wings. Growing up, feelings of being a burden made themselves known. You, however, being the eldest child of the leaders’s close friends, befriended him.
You both confided in each other about the pressure that came with status. You, being trained to become a warrior and a teacher, and him, as the adopted son of respected leaders. Your friendship bloomed naturally. He wasn’t as close to you as he liked, though, you were much closer with Tsireya and, lately, a certain someone.
About being the son of two great leaders, he had his own duties to perform. Often, that included having to wake up early to get them done. He was up before dawn, stretching and exiting his family’s marui. (But not before lightly kicking Ao’nung on the way out.)
Doing this for years, Rotxo was easily a morning person. So, imagine his surprise when he spotted you—strictly a night person, you told him yourself—walking outside.
He was about to come greet you, until he realized you had a destination in mind: the cliffside. He watched from afar as you climbed up and greeted that certain someone. The one you’d been spending much of your time with, which is none other than Neteyam.
Neteyam was okay. At first, at least. He listened to instructions better than his siblings which Rotxo was thankful for. But then the Sully had to go and become friends with you. Next thing he knew, you were spending most of your time with the guy.
He pictured it so clearly. You and Neteyam bonding over the pressure of being the eldest children. You had many friends, he knows. But recently your touches toward Neteyam got a bit too close, and your smile wider, and suddenly Rotxo became a beacon of an ugly emotion they called jealousy.
He always tried his best to shake it off. Now, seeing you mount Neteyam’s ikran, putting your hands around his waist and grinning when you both took off—he no longer had the dignity to deny it.
A shove from the back had him twisting to look at Ao’nung. “What?”
His brother smirked, pointing his head toward the ikran they both knew was Neteyam’s. “Jealous?”
“No.” Of course he was. But he would never give him the satisfaction of saying yes.
“You’ve been standing there for Eywa knows how long. You’re sure?”
“I’m sure.” Rotxo nodded curtly, jerking his head away when Ao’nung tried to pinch his ear.
Since you were always with Neteyam, and Tsireya was with Lo’ak, Rotxo was stuck dealing with Ao’nung making sure he didn’t stick his neck where it didn’t belong. Ao’nung was a good brother, protective though he wouldn’t admit that. But being him, he was also quite unbearable.
Rotxo just was not having it today. Throughout his training and helping with the clan, he couldn’t help but be short with everyone. He would never be disrespectful, but it was a sure stark contrast from his usual smiles. From crinkled eyes to empty stares.
He didn’t think it made that much of a difference, but apparently it did. He was cleaning up in the Tsahìk’s marui, listening to Ronal with one ear while Tonowari sharpened his spear.
“Say, Rotxo, do you know if Ao’nung has talked of a mate?”
Focused on organizing materials, he gave a simple answer. “No, Tsahìk.”
Unbeknownst to him, both of his parents’ heads slowly raised toward him. Tonowari stopped sharpening his spear, Ronal stopped talking.
At the silence, he looked up. “Is something wrong?”
His mother shot his father a look, and as he nodded, she left.
Uh oh. This can’t be good.
Tonowari put down the spear. “What’s bothering you, ma’itan?”
Ears pinned to his skull, he bit his lip trying to come up with a response. Lying was not on the table. “I am sorry for being curt today, Olo’eyktan. You taught me to be better. I am just…”
“You can tell me.”
“I am…jealous.”
“Of whom?”
“I don’t think it’s important.” He shook his head. “It’s trivial.”
“If it is affecting your behaviour, it’s important.”
Well, he couldn’t disagree, could he?
“I have been jealous of Y/N. Who has been spending time with Neteyam.” He looked around, desperate to see anything but the reaction.
A hand came upon his shoulder, and he finally spotted the smile that crept up on the leader’s face. “You should give them the necklace.”
“Wait—how do you know about that?”
“You know, I didn’t raise Tsireya to be a liar either,” he laughed. “Besides, I would not worry much if I were you.”
“What does that mean?”
He patted Rotxo on the back before picking up the spear and gesturing to the doorway.
“Give them the necklace and find out,” he went back to sharpening the spear.
Rotxo, stumbling out of the pod, pondered on the implications of what was just said. Was it true? Could he really have a chance with you?
With a newfound hope and determination, he headed to his own marui to retrieve the necklace. However, that faith was short lived when he ran into you.
“Rotxo,” you beamed at him. “I was looking for you.”
“You were?” The spark of hope in his chest flickered to a flame.
“I flew on an ikran this morning,” your excitement was so strong that you didn’t seem to notice Rotxo’s grimace. “I wanted to tell you about it and—“
Just like that, the fire was extinguished.
“Um. I’m sorry, Y/N. But I have to go.”
“Oh.” You blinked. “Well, come find me later?”
“Sure.”
Closing the flap of his pod, he stared at the line of necklaces on the floor, his string of failed attempts. Laughable, he thought he ever had a chance with you. Furthest from the entrance was his most recent attempt. His best one.
He laid down, taking the necklace in his hand to hold close to his chest. He let himself grieve the little chance he thought he might have had.
“Eywa,” he breathed. “Please give me a sign before I give up on the one that I love.”
The lack of light guided him into a slumber.
He was woken up after eclipse, found by Tsireya so he could come eat supper.
“Working on the necklace again?” She asked, leading the way.
“No, I accidentally fell asleep.”
She laughed, “When are you going to give it?”
For Tsireya was the one who rooted for you and Rotxo since the start, he didn’t have the heart to tell her he may never give it.
“Soon, probably.” He said instead.
She nodded.
The problem with Rotxo’s marui being so far away, it was a long walk. And because of that, he had to pass practically every single pod. Including the Sully’s.
It was only for one second. His eyes were drawn to the light coming from it, a fire for food. Then he saw you. Eating with the Sully family, handing food to Tuk.
If it were any other kid, his heart would have swelled at your parental instinct. But she was a Sully. His heart, instead, constricted at the thought of you making good relations with Neteyam’s family because you could have loved him.
Still walking, he caught up to his sister. “Why is Y/N eating with the Sully’s?”
Her eyes narrowed at him. “Their parents are away on that hunting trip, remember?”
Right. They sent out a big hunting party every thirty eclipses, and your parents led them. In his haste, he’d forgotten. You must be worried like you always were. Likely searching for comfort. You found that in Neteyam, not him. He was too slow.
The silence wasn’t lost on Tsireya. And not to the rest of his family, either. Not even his little sister who was a few years older by now. But Tonowari steered the conversation away from Rotxo, knowing his situation.
In the following eclipses, he kept to himself during duties. He hadn’t spoken to you since that day you flew on Neteyam’s ikran. He wasn’t purposefully avoiding you, no, you did it for him. It was almost like you disappeared but not completely; you still sent him sweet smiles accompanied with a greeting. He hated that his name sounded just as sweet from your tongue, there was no sign of his feelings dissipating anytime.
Right before eclipse, sick of wallowing in his own misery, he went for a walk.
He spotted you on the shore with an Omatikayan. It was Neytiri, weirdly enough, and not Neteyam. He put the pieces in his head and came to the conclusion that it was because you were talking about a possible union with her eldest after he would pass his rites. Which would be…soon.
Blinking back tears, he saw a blurry glow in the corner of his eyes. Atokirina. He scoffed, pushing it aside and letting it float away as he went to a secluded spot for a swim.
-
Groaning at your restlessness, you continued to work on the armband for Rotxo. You could spot the mistakes. Your eyes grew hot, maybe you would never be able to make the perfect armband for him.
Neteyam was nice enough in urging you to learn weaving under a real professional in your clan. You were joined by Neytiri in these lessons, who was learning alongside you. You found solace in having someone else learn with you, because most Metkayina either learned as children or not at all. Your embarrassment was quelled when Neytiri took the lessons in stride, encouraging you on the way.
But there was one thing: you kept messing up.
With the unfinished accessory in your grasp, you sought out Neytiri, and found her sitting on a rock at the beach.
You cleared your throat, hoping you weren’t intruding. She smiled upon seeing you. “What do you need?”
“I am a failure,” your shoulders sagged.
Beckoning you to come closer, she patted the spot next to her which you took. You showed her the armband in progress.
“It’s beautiful.”
“No,” you insisted. “It is not.”
She frowned, “How come?”
You pointed out the mistakes.
“You know what I see?”
You hummed, preparing yourself for the sting of rejection.
“Love,” she replied. “You made it with love.”
“Does that even matter if it looks terrible?”
“It is not terrible.” She disagreed, “It is imperfect, but so is love.”
You finally shed a tear, partly out of frustration but at the epiphany you had upon hearing Neytiri’s words. What mattered was that it’s for Rotxo. And you already knew he would love it regardless of how he felt toward you.
“You know,” Neytiri continued. “In our clan, we often made jewelry that matched. One for the lover, the other for the loved. And if the other accepts, that is their gift, and it means they become the lover, too. The love is mutual and their bond is strengthened.”
You wiped the tear away. “That’s poetic.”
“It is.”
“Should I do that?”
“If you want to.”
“I’m going to.”
So, you took it upon yourself to keep going. You got so carried away that you lost sleep for the next two nights, finishing Rotxo’s and making one for yourself.
Early morning, sitting on the cliffside, you looked at your work side by side. A little too honed in on the armbands combined with a lack of rest, you didn’t notice a pair of large blue feet right next to you until the owner of said feet cleared his throat.
“Skxawng!” You hissed at Neteyam, straining your head to look up. “You scared me!” You swatted at his calves.
Finally noticing his state, “Why are you out of breath?”
“I ran here.”
“For what?” You stood up, worried.
“To tell you…” he wheezed, “that you should probably give it to Rotxo soon.“
“Why?”
“Tsireya told Lo’ak who told me that Rotxo has been sad,” Neteyam answered. “He thinks that you and me might be…”
“Oh Eywa, that’s gross.” You said, not really thinking. At Neteyam’s slight offended look, “Sorry, I just—I can’t think of being with anyone except Rotxo.“
“Then tell him!”
Seeing your friend so riled up made you chuckle. “Alright, I’ll do it today. Thank you, by the way. For covering my duties.”
Strolling back with Neteyam, putting your armband on, you prepared yourself for the worst. Sensing your apprehension, he squeezed your forearm in comfort. You sent him a grateful look and began to scan the place for Rotxo.
He wasn’t far, feeding his ilu just sitting at the edge of the walkway.
“Rotxo,” you called, mirroring his smile as he turned around.
His eyes darted to the new accessory on your arm, gulping.
“Y/N,” he called back. His breath hitched for a moment when you took your place next to him. After all the time apart, being right next to you still felt right. “How are you?”
“I’m—I’m okay. You?”
“Same here,” he pet his ilu.
It was now or never. “I have…something for you.”
He stopped his motions, not even minding when the animal made a noise in complaint. “For me?”
You hoped you weren’t imagining the hope in his eyes when he faced you.
“For you,” you untied it from the waistband of your loincloth, hesitantly extending it to him.
His eyes darted to the one on your forearm.
“It matches yours.”
“It does,” you nodded. You wanted him to connect the pieces himself.
“This is…for me?”
“Do you like it?”
He responded by putting it on, your smile widening. He stood up and offered a hand, which you happily grabbed. He didn’t let go, though, and you’ll admit it made you giddy.
He pulled you toward a direction, “Come, I want to show you something.”
Leading you to his marui, you wondered what could possibly be there for you. Still, you stared at the accessory, the one you made, adorning his arm. It fit snugly around his toned muscles.
He opened the door for you, letting you see the inside. There were necklaces scattered in the corner, but one, different from the others, sat further away separated from the rest. Rotxo took it and even from the doorway you could see its beauty, with the shiny beads and a medium-sized shell at its middle as the focal point.
Despite the distance between you, he heard you say, “Is that…?”
“It’s for you.”
What followed after was you running to him with such force and excitement that he toppled over, tripping over a scrapped necklace, sending you both to the floor with a loud huff.
“Easy,” he rubbed your back, elated at your gesture and also breaking your fall. He tried to calm his heart at how close you were. “Are you okay?”
His voice so close to your ear made you shiver. “With you? Always.”
Rotxo, speechless, let the silence stretch. He relished in the feeling of being surrounded by you.
“Can you put it on me?”
Ignoring the stutter of his heart, “You would have to get off me for that. Not that I mind this right now, trust me.”
You laughed, “Of course.” You did as he said, and kneeled next to him, as he did the same.
He chose to put it on you face-to-face, leaning in close with his arms around you, his breath against your neck as he felt for the clasp to secure it.
Pulling back to look at it, he couldn’t help but flit his eyes to your reaction. But you weren’t looking at the necklace, either. You were looking at him.
Before you knew it, you found the feeling of his soft lips on yours to be the only thing you needed for peace of mind. You wanted it forever, as did he.
And just like that, both lovers became the loved. The feeling mutual, the bond strengthened. It was real.
Rotxo X Male Metkayina Reader
Prompt: Why are you so jealous?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You did not consider yourself a jealous person. Never did and never was. It was just something that you just thought you would never feel. That all changed when the Sullys came and Rotxo decided that he was gonna spend even more time with Aonung and Tsireya to help teach the newcomers. Honestly, the newcomers didn't even bother you. They were rather nice and you enjoyed talking with them,  especially the oldest brother Neteyam, he was sweet and you found yourself talking to him a lot. It was the fact that Rotxo had stopped hanging out with you and was now with Aonung and Tsireya, even more, to help teach the Sullys. You realized the emotion quickly and decided to do something about it, and in turn, you ended up spending time with the Sullys more than your friends that you grew up with.
"You are doing amazing Neteyam! I guess the lessons have been paying off." You were genuinely happy for him and you were glad that he confided in you when he felt he couldn't talk to his siblings or his dad. It was nice, and you sympathized with the fact of being an older brother because you were the oldest of your family. You glanced over to where Aonung and Tsireya were only to be surprised that Rotxo was staring at you hard while you talked with Neteyam. You turned your head at him only to watch him huff and look the other way. How strange.
"Did you see that Y/N?" You turned back to Neteyam with a grin and nodded approvingly at the way he was riding an Ilu. He was really good at what he was doing and plus he was a good distraction from whatever weirdness was plaguing Rotxo. You figured he would talk about it with you later since you thought the two of you were close. "Would you like to come over and have dinner with my family tonight? Do you think that your parents wouldn't mind?" You were shocked that he would even ask that but you weren't about to deny him. You figured that this was a perfect opportunity to try and understand the newcomers even better. You are always curious about them but was afraid to ask questions, especially since their mother scared you.
"I would love to, my parents wouldn't mind at all. I hope your parents wouldn't." You were happy about this but, turned at the sound of water splashing. You saw Rotxo glaring this time before he turned on his Ilu and left. That was so strange and you were stuck between wanting to confront them and, at the same time wanting to stay with your new friends.
"No, they wouldn't. My dad will be able to smooth over any of the issues my momma may have. She is not as bad as you think." You beg to differ, but you digressed. You figured being a native to Pandora and living in the forest your whole life only to have to leave it one day because the sky people want your whole family dead was hard enough but, to add the fact that you have to live in an environment you're not built for? Yeah, you wouldn't be happy either.
"I'm excited, I'll see you all tonight then." You decided to leave them to it, wanting them to have space and time for themselves while you decided to go and do your chores. You promised to take your 4 younger siblings out for rides on the Ilus. Once you got home you greeted your parents and packed up lunch for your siblings who were scattered outside the Marui. Once they saw you they knew already that you were gonna take them out on the water and since they were little, they couldn't go far by themselves. However, since you were older and more responsible, they could go farther out, but still not too far, but much farther than they're used to.
"Tsmuk! We are ready!"
"Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!"
"Can we collect shells!?"
Their enthusiasm was contagious and had you fondly rolling your eyes and laughing at them as they followed you out waving to your parents. The five of you got your ilu's and with you still holding their lunches guided them out further to where some of the hunters were fishing for their own families. You greeted them and you stayed above the water watching as your siblings dived to search for shells, pearls, and whatever else they liked. You looked up once again to see that Rotxo was with his own brother and sister staring at you. You waved at him and he simply huffed and looked away making you frown. What was his problem? His siblings noticed and glanced between you and him as you shrugged. You didn't know what was wrong either.
"Tsmuk look!" Your attention was turned away from Rotxo as you engaged with your siblings and their findings. Once they got their fill you took them all back to the beach and gave them their lunches with water as you sat down in front of them to eat your own food. The rest of the afternoon passed with you being with your siblings and before you knew it, it was dinner time and when you dropped off your siblings you told your parents you were going to have dinner with the Sully's.
"Give them our regards son." Your parents were much more accepting of them than most of your clan and even the Tsahik herself. They weren't bad people, just misunderstood and Jake was a man trying to keep his family safe. As you left your Marui you were making your way to theirs which was a little farther away from the clan but, not too far when you passed by Rotxo again. You stopped in front of each other watching him watch you.
"You've been acting weird all day." That was the first thing you said and you would have cringed if it wasn't true. He was not acting like Rotxo. "Was it something I did? You didn't even talk to me all day. Just kept staring." He kept looking at you without saying anything and you gave him a couple of minutes when you thought or realized that he wasn't going to say anything to you again. It irritated you a bit when he wasn't going to say anything. "Fine, be that way." You left him there to be by himself ignoring the way he followed you with his eyes. You took a breath willing yourself to calm down. You were determined to have a good time with the Sullys and you weren't going to let Rotxo or anyone else ruin the evening for you.
-------------------------------------------------------------
You had a phenomenal time with the Sullys and their mom really wasn't that bad, and you were shocked at how much Neteyam takes after his dad personality-wise. Yes, it's obvious with Lo'ak being his dad's spitting image but, Neteyam had a lot of qualities from their father as well. You bid them goodnight and you didn't make it 10 feet from the Marui before getting grabbed. You gasped whirling around to see who snatched you like that only to be surprised it was Rotxo.
"Rotxo?" He didn't answer you again but, he pulled you to a more private part of the beach where others within earshot possibly couldn't hear the two of you. You decided to try another way. "You scared me! What if I would've hit you?!" You knew you hit hard and didn't want to do that to Rotxo.
"You wouldn't have." How confident of him. At least he answered you. The two of you sat on the sand in silence looking out to the ocean. "Why do you spend so much time with Neteyam?" You blinked not expecting that you turned to him and he was already staring at you. "You're always with him. Do you like him? What does he do?" This surprised you and had you sputtering for a second. Never would you have thought Rotxo would be jealous.
"Oh my Eywa, why are you so jealous?" Maybe that wasn't the best thing to say considering the way his face contorted at what you said.
"Why am I jealous? I should be asking why are you so dense." You blinked but, he continued before you can interrupt. "I've been trying to get your attention for the fucking longest. All you've been doing is hanging out with Neteyam. Neteyam this, Neteyam that. What about me? I'm important too. I was here before they came and I've liked you for much longer than they have." That new word he definitely got from Lo'ak but, that didn't take away from the whole fact that he was jealous. Everything made sense now, the looks, the scoffing, him avoiding you and glaring every time you were with Neteyam.
"Come here." You didn't give him a chance to do even more before you were on top of him. You smothered his whole body against yours as you laid your cheek against his to nuzzle him. You already felt his tenseness leave and his arms wrap around your waist gently. "You could have said you want to spend more time with me. I do like Neteyam, he is really nice they all are but, I'll still choose you over them." You pulled your head away enough to peck his cheek before snuggling back on him.
"...So, do you want to hang out with me then tomorrow?" You heard the wariness in his voice as he asked.
"Of course, I will! You can have me the whole day." You felt his sigh of relief as he pulled you in closer. You knew the two of you had to head home soon but, for now, you enjoyed each other's company.
Rotxo couldn’t help but to toss and turn as he lay beside you, the warmth of your body pressed up against his had him groaning. The smell of you invaded all of his senses, almost immediately he knew what was happening.
His rut, usually he handled them alone, they weren’t too bad, but this time was different, this time you were here.
His mind couldn’t clear the fog that began to cloud his mind, the feeling only grew stronger the longer he inhaled your scent. Letting out a small grunt he grabbed ahold of your thighs, trying to be as gentle as possible as he made himself home between your legs. His nose rubbing along the length of you, deeply inhaling the smell of you. A deep rumble tumbled from his chest as he ground himself into the makeshift sheets of your mattress.
A small little yelp fell from your lips as you felt your body being handled more than usual, waking up from your sleep in a haze you looked down to see your mate between your legs. His nose still brushing up against your thigh, slowly he brushed his nose up inching closer and closer to your covered cunt. A small gasp slipped past your lips just as another deep growl was pulled from his chest, his nose brushing against your clothed clit as he licked at your entrance before dragging the flat of his tongue along the fabric.
His nails dug into your thigh as he continued to tease and lick at you through your panties, he loved the way you squirmed and whimpered underneath him. “Ro?” You called for him softly, not being able to handle the pleasurable assault on your clit. The only response he could give was a growl before yanking your panties off to expose your glistening pussy.
The smell of you invaded his senses, his mind clouded with thoughts of how to breed you. Fill your small pussy up with his seed, he wanted to give you every last drop. He let out a grunt as he licked up from your folds to your click, instantly going to work on devouring your pussy in need. The sounds of your whimpers and cries of pleasure only fueled him on further.
He wasn’t letting up no matter how much you pushed at his head or how hard you rigged on his hair, he wanted you. Every last bit of you and he needed you to know just how bad he was craving your cunt. Rotxo refused to pull away till your entire body was trembling, he wanted your mind focused on nothing but him, he wanted you to be thinking about nothing but the pleasure you’d provide him.
Once he was satisfied and your hole was completely drenched in a mixture of your own juices and his saliva, he flipped your still trembling body over. Hands forcing your ass up into the air, giving him full view of you, his digits stuffed themselves back into your fluttering pussy as his free hand freed him from his loincloth.
He removed his fingers from your now drooling cunt and aligned his throbbed cock against your entrance. For a moment he hesitated, for a split second he wanted to be gentle, but he couldn’t, his body wouldn’t allow him.
In one swift moment he has bottomed out, deep growled rumbled from his chest as he rubbed his neck against the back of your neck. His body completely caging you off. He loved the way your tight pussy fluttered around him, begging for him to fuck you. And fuck you he did, his thrust was deep but quick, every inch of his throbbing cock touched all the sweetest spots of your insides.
Your cries of pleasure were like music to his ears, all he could focus on was filling you up with his seed.
Each thrust had him hitting your spot directly, your body shuddering as you took him so well. He admired your soft skin now littered in his marks. His drive him wild to see you marked up and smelling like him, and to think soon you’d be full of his seed. The thought fueled him to fuck to harder, your greedy pussy clinging onto his length.
His name fell from your lips like a prayer, your mind completely gone. You haven’t even come yet, and you were already so fucked out ready to be full of him.
Gone was your normally sweet mate, to be replaced with a rough ravenous male who longed for nothing but impregnating you.
It felt like hours, orgasms after orgasms until he came. His knot forcing itself into your pussy to keep his seed from spilling out. His body finally went lax against yours as he nuzzled into your neck, whispering sweet and soft words of praise.
How can one miss someone who was never theirs to begin with?
Perhaps you played yourself, allowing a delusional desire to take root, hoping against all odds that he could be yours. Lost in a dense fog of denial, you knew deep down that this kind of love was never meant for you—that it wasn't directed your way.
Ever since you and your adoptive family arrived in Awa'atlu for uturu, you have all been in the spotlight, but some receive more attention than others. Sadly, the attention you crave the most is effortlessly bestowed upon your sister. His oceanic eyes gaze at her with the intensity you wish he would reserve for you, overflowing with adoration and admiration. It feels almost criminal to witness someone being worshipped so deeply, while she remains completely oblivious to his love.
How can you ever find the words to tell him that every night, as you lay beneath the sky's embrace, peering through the cracks in the mauri, your thoughts are consumed by him? With each star you count, you offer silent prayers, hoping that a shooting star from the tales of old tawtute will streak across the heavens, allowing you to make a wish, fully aware that it will revolve around him.
He was the sun that illuminated your days when they felt impossibly dim just by a smile sent your way, and you were the moon, forever drawn to his orbit, seeking a place in his world. The farther he seemed, the closer you yearned to be, until the yearning became insatiable. You craved his warmth, his light, wanting nothing more than to bask in his radiance. Your existence revolved around him, and with every passing day, the desire to bridge the gap grew stronger. Closer and closer you wanted to get, until the closeness became enough, until only your love for him was enough.
You're unsure how you came to love him so deeply, and it pains you to part ways even briefly. Eywa herself knows the internal struggle you endure when you watch him fade into the distance, vanishing without another word, with your concealed emotions left unspoken.
He was kind, supportive, and courageous—a formidable warrior among the people, a remarkable friend within your youthful circle, and a well-suited potential partner. You wish you could rid yourself of your feelings for him, much like the way he yearns for your sister, but his qualities are impossible to overlook.
Your heart tightens each time you witness him trailing behind her, wearing the most beautiful and genuine smile, calling out her name in gleeful laughter, "Kiri! Where are you headed?" as he dutifully follows her, unaware of the effect it has on you. He would likely follow her to the ends of the earth, and you’ll understand because you’ll do the same.
You often found yourself lost in a tumultuous sea of thoughts, seeking solace by the ocean's edge, far removed from prying eyes. The weight of your emotions became overwhelming, making it agonizingly difficult to confide in someone, fearing their judgment and the damning label of selfishness.
Yet, can it truly be branded as selfish when it's painfully evident that Rotxo yearns to court her, while she remains oblivious or so it seems? What if she truly knows and deliberately keeps him dangling on a string?
Great Mother, your love for your sister burns with an intensity that knows no bounds, but does she truly grasp the power she holds—the power to choose between two hearts held tenderly within her hands? The weight of that choice is immense, leaving you in a state of anguished uncertainty and bittersweet longing.
Then, whether through a twist of destiny or the compassion of Eywa, Rotxo mustered the courage one day to reveal his feelings to Kiri. To your surprise, she was completely unaware of his intentions, blissfully ignorant of his affection towards her. It seemed her attention was focused on another, a fellow female Na'vi within the village. How Rotxo missed that detail remained a mystery, but he wasn't the only one caught off guard. The news reached your ears when Kiri returned home, her expression filled with solemnity.
At first, you struggle to contain your bubbling excitement. It felt like Rotxo was finally free, and a glimmer of hope sparked within you. Maybe, just maybe, there was a chance for something between you two. However, as Kiri proceeded to explain his reaction, a wave of guilt crashed over you. You realized that you had unwittingly taken his pain and transformed it into your own joy, and the weight of that realization bore down heavily upon your conscience.
That night, sleep escapes you, and you found yourself restlessly shifting in bed, tormented by thoughts of Rotxo. His once charming smile was replaced with a frown in your mind's eye. It unsettled you to the core, knowing that he was burdened with sorrow while you held onto a glimmer of hope.
Reality struck hard—you understood deep down that there was no possibility for you and him. He had just experienced rejection, and pursuing another romantic endeavor would be the least of his concerns. The gravity of this truth kept you awake, lost in contemplation throughout the night. Eventually, you abandon the pursuit of sleep and ventured to the shoreline, where you wandered along the edge of the ocean, sinking your feet into the soft sand as you sought solace in the rhythm of the waves.
Eventually you reach your usual spot, a quiet place for reflection, you freeze in your tracks. Your expectation of finding it deserted is shattered by the sound of gentle sniffles. Someone else seeks refuge there, their emotions overwhelming them too. A bittersweet warmth fills your heart, realizing that this place offers comfort and solace to others who grapple with their own feelings. Though your initial instinct is to respect their privacy and leave, your intention wavers when you hear his voice—his familiar voice that stops you in your tracks.
His voice trembles with vulnerability, as he opens up about his pain and heartache. The rawness in his words sends a surge of emotions coursing through you. You stand there, hidden from view, listening intently as he pours out his feelings. Every word he utters resonates with your own hidden desires, with the longing you've kept locked away.
An uneasy feeling begins to wash over you, as if you are trespassing on his intimate moment. You recognize that these words were never meant for your ears, that he did not willingly choose to confide in you. Caught in this dilemma, you find yourself torn between respecting his boundaries and offering a comforting presence. Yet, you cannot bear to leave him in such a vulnerable state. So, with cautious steps, you retreat to the entrance and clear your throat, hoping to make your presence known.
His glossy eyes shift in your direction, and the sight tugs at your heartstrings. It stirs within you an overwhelming urge to rush to his side, to wrap him in a warm embrace and assure him that everything will be alright. But you hold yourself back, restraining the impulse. Instead, you offer him a gentle smile, your voice soft and tentative as you speak up, "I'm sorry... I don't mean to intrude, but... are you okay, Rotxo?"
His gaze lingers on you, caught off guard by your sudden presence. He takes a moment to collect himself, his voice trembling as he responds, "Not really." He lowers his gaze to the ground, seemingly lost in his thoughts.
Frowning, you move closer, squatting down beside him on the ground. From this vantage point, you peer at him under your lowered lashes, your heart betraying you by racing at the proximity. You curse the timing of these feelings, fully aware that now is not the moment to indulge in personal desires. Your sole focus remains on providing comfort and support.
"Why are you crying?" you ask, although the reason is painfully obvious. You choose not to spell it out, allowing him the space to share what he wishes.
He presses his lips together, taking a slow, steadying breath before he responds, his voice barely above a whisper, his voice barely above a whisper, his body slumped with sadness.
"Kiri didn't tell you?" he murmurs, his words heavy with a mixture of pain and confusion.
Naturally, she did. She was your sister, bonded by a deep connection whether by blood or not. It was evident that the weight of her own struggles had become too much to bear alone, leading her to confide in you, and for that, you were grateful. But now is not the time to reveal that knowledge.
“No,” you furrow your brows, gulping as you consider you answer, “She didn’t. Should she have?”
Your question hangs in the air, masking the truth that you hold. You tread carefully, protecting your sister's trust while trying to offer him the support he seeks. You wait, holding your breath, aware that his answer will shape the course of this vulnerable moment between the two of you.
Finally, he breaks the stillness, his words faltering as he reveals, "I... I like Kiri..." His eyes shift away, avoiding direct contact.
You offer a subtle nod, acknowledging his admission. "I know," you respond softly, holding more understanding than he realizes.
His ears flick up before lying flat against his head, sinking his face into his hands as he groans in exasperation, "So it was obvious to everyone except her?" His eyes welling up with tears once more.
Your willpower to respect his boundaries crumbles in an instant, overridden by your overwhelming urge to provide comfort. Acting on instinct, you step into his personal space and wrap your arms around him, seeking to offer solace and support. You understand that apologies can come later; right now, all that matters is being there for him, as he has been for others in their moments of sadness.
He tenses at the unexpected contact, momentarily pausing in his sniffling. But then he returns the embrace, holding onto you tightly and burying his head in your shoulder. The wetness of his tears dampens your skin, a physical manifestation of the depth of his need for comfort, perhaps more than he even realizes.
"I'm sorry she didn't see you the way you saw her..." you murmur softly, your hand rubbing his back in a soothing motion, akin to a mother comforting her child. It feels fitting, given the sense of family that he most-likely come to associate with you.
"I feel so stupid," he whines, his eyes tightly shut as he shuffles closer, seeking more solace in your warmth. It's as if he has been deprived of it for so long, though you know that cannot be true. His parents were present. His self-blame stems solely from the rejection he has faced. "I... I should have noticed the signs... I should have."
Shaking your head softly, you offer reassurance, "She didn't give any signs. You weren't the only one who didn't know,” you pause to ponder you next words, it’ll be a risky statement given the circumstances but maybe you were selfish if you did, “Maybe if you did, you could have found someone who’d reciprocates your feelings.”
"Nobody would want me after this. It's humiliating," he practically whispers so low you’ll miss it if he wasn’t this close to you. His sniffling has long subsided as he rests his head on your shoulder. His arms loosen their grip, hanging loosely around you, "I wouldn't want me."
Your heart aches at the sight of his self-deprecating words, the pain and insecurity etched on his face. Without a second thought, you gently push him back, your hands resting on his chest, a small act of resistance against his negative thoughts. His swollen, confused eyes meet yours as you lean closer.
Placing a hand on his thigh for comfort, you let your voice carry the weight of your words, "Never say that about yourself," you say firmly, your frown reflecting your deep concern, "Rotxo, you are so much more than this moment of rejection. You deserve love just like anyone else. Don't let this define your worth."
Your fingertips caress his cheeks, radiating warmth and tenderness as they glide along his skin. A softness lingers in your touch, an unspoken reassurance that you offer with every stroke. Despite the tremor that quivers through your own hands, a testament to the emotions swirling within you, you remain steadfast in your mission to uplift his spirits and kindle a flicker of hope within his wounded heart.
Truly, it was right there before him, concealed in plain sight, much like it was with Kiri. You can't help but marvel at the irony of it all, how easily the heart can be blind to what lies just beyond its reach. Yet, a tender fondness washes over you, an understanding of his innocence and his unwitting ignorance of the precious connection that beckoned him.
Perhaps, you think, it's for the best that he remained oblivious for now, as the pain is still fresh and tender.
"Do you really think so?" he asks, his eyes filled with wonder and a glimmer of hope, desperately seeking validation in your response. As you nod and offer a soft smile, his face lights up with a genuine smile, the first of the day. Excitedly, he pulls you into a heartfelt hug, his pure nature shining through. This man is truly a gem.
You find yourself grappling with a myriad of emotions as you reflect on the situation. It perplexes you why he seemed oblivious to the impact he had on your heart. Taking a deep breath to steady your racing thoughts, you decide it's time to bring this poignant exchange to a close.
Clearing your throat, you slowly rise from your seated position, your gaze momentarily avoiding his captivating eyes that shimmer in the gentle moonlight. The silence between you stretches, filled with unspoken words and lingering emotions.
"I think it's best if we both make our way back," you say, your voice carrying a tinge of melancholy and unrequited longing.
He reciprocates with a gentle smile, its genuineness captivating you, even in the midst of this tender farewell. A subtle nod of understanding passes between you, both acknowledging the intricate complexities of the moment.
His voice resonates with heartfelt gratitude, softly punctuating the stillness that envelops you both, "Thank you."
With those words lingering in the air like a whispered promise, you reluctantly part ways, each step carrying the weight of unspoken emotions. The night embraces you, wrapping you in its embrace as you find comfort in the knowledge that you were there for one another, if only for a fleeting moment.
Little did you know, it was far from being the last encounter.
The following morning arrives, and you attempt to steal a few extra moments of slumber, seeking refuge from the complexities of the previous night. However, your peaceful interlude is shattered by the persistent calls of your mother, who reminds you of the responsibilities and obligations that come with being a member of the Metkayina. The demands of productivity override any personal desires, and you resign yourself to the tasks that lie ahead.
You decide to embark on a fishing expedition, a familiar ritual that brings level headedness and nourishment. Equipped with your trusty net, you make your way to one of the favored fishing spots, immersing yourself in the tranquil waters. The cool embrace of the water fails to deter you as you wade deeper, determined to fulfill your task and provide a bountiful catch for your family.
After a while of not catching anything in your chosen fishing spot, you decide to relocate. Fortunately, the change of location proves fruitful, and you're grateful for the decision as you witness a group of male Na'vi engaging in animated conversation, their attention fixated on Rotxo and his fishing prowess.
A sense of amusement washes over you as you realize his popularity. Who would have thought?
Without a second thought, you find yourself wading through the water towards him, unintentionally interrupting the tranquility he sought. "Looks like you've got some admirers," you playfully tease, you playfully tease, coming to a halt a few feet away. He turns to you, confusion evident in his eyes.
"What do you mean, (Name)?" he asks, genuinely puzzled. But his confusion quickly fades as you gesture towards the group of Na'vi, a faint blush coloring his cheeks. He takes a step back, shrugging his shoulders, a slight frown forming on his face. "They've been there all morning. Just gossiping, I suppose."
A surge of annoyance wells up within you, no longer able to tolerate his self-doubt. "Enough of that," you assert, your voice carrying a deep resonance. "Anyone would be lucky to have you... including myself." The words slip out in a mumble, almost lost amidst the sounds of nature. Whether he catches your confession or not, he remains silent, stealing a quick glance in your direction before returning his focus to the task at hand.
A comfortable silence envelops you both, accompanied by the gentle lapping of waves and the occasional splash. Surprisingly, the absence of words doesn't create any awkwardness. It's a stark contrast to the usual giddy and somewhat nauseating feeling you experience in his presence. Perhaps the brief but meaningful connection you shared the previous night has brought a newfound ease and comfort when it comes to being around him.
You feel a gentle yet firm grip on your forearm, halting your motion of throwing the net once again. Turning your gaze to the source, you find Rotxo standing beside you, a soft chuckle escaping his lips as he observes your fishing technique. His eyes sparkle with amusement as he takes hold of your hands, his touch sending a tingle of warmth through your skin.
Curiosity dances in his eyes as he asks, "Who taught you how to fish?"
You can't help but feel a touch of self-consciousness, looking down for a moment before meeting his gaze. "I actually taught myself," you admit, your voice carrying a hint of bashfulness.
A knowing smile graces his face as he replies, "That explains your stance. You won't catch many fish like that." He moves closer to you, his body language open and inviting. His question hangs in the air, and you find yourself captivated by his presence, eagerly granting him permission to guide you.
"I don't mind," you respond, your voice filled with anticipation and curiosity. With your consent, he takes the lead, positioning your hands and adjusting your body to align with his preferred fishing method. Every touch, every gentle adjustment, sends a jolt of electricity through your being.
"I must say, I've caught plenty of fish on my own," you playfully interject as he pulls away, a mischievous glint in your eyes.
He nods, his gaze transitioning from your hands to your eyes, a silent understanding passing between you. "I have no doubt about that. But the way you were doing it would have taken much longer," he remarks, a hint of admiration evident in his voice.
With his guidance, you make several more attempts, each time incorporating the adjustments he has shown you. It's a delicate dance of coordination, a symphony of movement and shared intention. You feel a sense of connection and trust building with each throw, as if you are moving in perfect harmony with each other and the rhythm of the water.
Time seems to melt away as you continue fishing together. Conversations flow effortlessly, laughter echoes through the air, and a sense of peace envelops you both. The symphony of nature's sounds—the gentle lapping of water against your legs, the rustle of leaves in the breeze, and the occasional splash of a fish—accentuates the tranquility of the moment.
A bittersweet ache tugs at your heart. You wish you that this would be the last time similar actions would be like this, that it’ll be easier to let go than to hold on to a love that can never be fully realized. It's a torment, a constant battle between the longing in your heart and the rationality in your mind. Each passing day spent in his company, teaching and bonding, feels both like a gift and a cruel twist of fate.
You had made peace with your feelings long ago, even before he confessed his love for Kiri. You had resigned yourself to the fact that friendship was the only path you could walk together, no matter how much it pained you. It was a choice to preserve what you had, to savor the moments of joy and connection, even if it meant treading a delicate tightrope of unspoken desires.
"You're spacing out again," Rotxo's voice breaks the spell of your thoughts. You find yourselves back at the familiar spot, the place where platonic confessions were made, now a couple of months later. Time has slipped away swiftly in the company of the one you love.
You let out a soft hum, meeting his gaze with contemplation and unknown affection. "I've been doing a lot of thinking," you confess, your voice tinged with a hint of uncertainty.
Curiosity flickers in Rotxo's eyes as he tilts his head, genuinely interested in the thoughts that have consumed you for so long. He has always respected your privacy, refraining from prying into your inner world. Yet, an undeniable concern gnaws at him, a desire to understand and offer support. You both have become pillars for each other, leaning on each other in times of need.
"Is it something troubling?" he asks, his gaze unwavering as he waits for your response.
“I think that depends on how someone sees it…” you trail off, sensing a shift in the atmosphere. The conversation takes an unexpected turn, and a wave of apprehension washes over you, making you hesitate to continue. You can't quite put your finger on it, but something feels different about this discussion, and it makes you reluctant to delve deeper.
"Will you tell me?" he whispers softly, his voice filled with concern and a touch of vulnerability. The genuine care in his eyes urges you to open up, but you find yourself momentarily speechless, unsure of how to express the conflicted emotions swirling within you. You don't want to burden him or risk jeopardizing the friendship you hold dear.
For a moment, silence hangs in the air, and he senses your hesitation. Worried that he may be crossing a line, he considers dropping the subject altogether. But just as he's about to let it go, your voice finally breaks through.
"I don't think I can continue to be your friend... I feel guilty," you confess, the words escaping your lips, filled with sadness and regret.
He shifts in his seated position, giving you his undivided attention with a serious expression. What could you possible feel guilty about? You haven’t done anything to him, he was pretty sure of that. If anything, you have been becon since his rejection, guilt was the last thing he expects you to feel. Unless it’s something he doesn’t know about.
"Guilt?" he repeats, his voice gentle yet tinged with confusion. "What is it that makes you feel this way?"
A heavy sigh escapes your lips as you try to find the right words. "It's these... feelings I have," you confess, your voice barely above a whisper.
“Feelings for who?” he wasn’t aware you had sometime you liked. And knowing that made him uncomfortable in his chest. It was a familiar feeling—like his heart has dropped to his stomach. A gasp leave Shia lips as you continue, his heart beat picking up.
“For you,” you express, looking eyes with him, “I’ve always liked you and I was content watching from afar. Then we started getting closer and my feelings gotten stronger. It’s became harder for me to ignore it. I can't help but feel guilty for having these emotions while knowing they may complicate our friendship.”
A faint smile tugs at the corners of his lips as he reaches out, his hand gently holding yours, a comforting gesture that you hadn't even noticed was trembling, “I think—no, I feel the same way,” he reveals.
Your eyes widen, your face flushing with warmth as you process his words, "You what?"
"I like you too," he confesses, his voice growing a little louder, “It took a while for me to realize it but when I did, I was scared that—uh, that another situation like before would happen again.” he moves to interlock your hands, lower his head bashfully as you’ve done in numerous situations.
You stare at him, your mouth hanging open in astonishment. "Do you really?"
His eyes meet yours, filled with warmth and fondness reflected in their depths. "I first noticed it when we were going to gather some fruit," he begins, his voice laced with a sense of nostalgia, "My stomach felt funny, and I couldn't help but feel excited when I saw your own excitement.”
He scoots closer to you, his shoulder gently brushing against yours, sending a delightful shiver down your spine. Your heart skips a beat, captivated by his closeness and his words.
"The first time my heart raced, I was scared and confused," he continues, his voice soft and filled with vulnerability, "You weren't even around, but it was as if you were right there in my thoughts. It took me a while to understand what those feelings meant, but now I do. I like you, more than ever. "
His eyes never leave yours as he speaks, and you can see the depth of his sincerity. It's a moment of shared revelation and vulnerability, a connection that goes beyond words.
A smile spreads across your face, mirroring the joy that fills your heart. "Me too," you whisper, your voice filled with an undeniable certainty. The weight of unspoken feelings finally lifted, replaced by the exhilarating realization that your feelings are reciprocated.
"I thought I misheard you when you said you'd be lucky to be with me," he chuckles, leaning his forehead against yours. "Little did I know, it would actually be the other way around."
You close your eyes, giggling softly at his words, flattered by his belief in your worth. "I see you," you whisper, too shy to meet his gaze. It feels surreal to hear him express his feelings so openly.
He gently releases your hand, his finger lightly tapping your cheek to get your attention. "Look at me," he insists, his voice filled with tenderness. "Tell me when you look at me."
With a bit of reluctance, you open your eyes, feeling a flutter in your stomach as your gazes meet. The intensity of his gaze sends a shiver of excitement down your spine, and in that moment, you realize that this is not a dream—it's your reality. Before you can utter a word, Rotxo beats you to it, leaving you breathless.
"I see you, (Name)," he says, his words overflowing with sweetness and sincerity. It shocked you that it was directed at you. Nearly felt like a dream if he didn’t plant a wet kiss on your nose, forcing you to wrap your head around that this was real, that he was there with you—not with Kiri or any o the other Na’vi woman.
Just you.
"Would this make it awkward, liking you after..." he starts to ask, his voice trailing off, unable to find the right words without it sounding off.
You shake your head, dispelling his concerns with a reassuring smile. "She'll understand," you assure him, confident in your response.
Because even though Kiri may have been oblivious to Rotxo's feelings, she had an inkling of your affection for him. That fateful night of raw emotions and a little too much alcohol had led to a heartfelt confession, revealing the depths of your feelings for Rotxo. In that moment, Kiri had grasp the truth, and though unspoken, an understanding had silently formed between you.
Incorrect quote
Rotxo: I think Y/n was right.
Ao’nung: I’m surprised they haven’t matched in here yet to say ‘I told you so’.
Tsireya: They wouldn’t do that.
Y/n: You’re right, Tsireya. For once in your life, you’re 100% right, I would never say that.
Y/n: *Turns around, the shirt they’re wearing says ‘Y/n told you so’ on the back*
